Humidity is good for the skin!  

 

Dry cold cracks your skin.  

 

Humidity sucks but I think it is easier on the body than dry heat. It is like in the dry saunas when your skin starts to sting.

I like heat in general, and I’ve got extremely dry skin. I also rarely sweat. Combine that with having melanin and I don’t get why people complain about heat and sun. Of course I believe people when they say they are uncomfortable, but I’m generally fine. Now why was I born in chicago IL? From Nov to May I’m miserable!

Nope. That's what people with manners do. You bring flowers to your freakin' fiance or other people who have been away for a long time. Maybe, with airport security being what it is, you don't want to have a bunch of stuff with you, you have them in the car, or a nice surprise at home. You have food ready for someone coming from a long flight (I can understand if they don't want to stop at a restaurant right away). And, since you are in sweltering Las Vegas, maybe you bring a newbie a bottle of water for the drive home. 

It's called being civilized. Colt's mother should have taught him that.

Some guys are what I like to call socially awkward.  I seem to attract these guys and don’t mind showing them the way.  They usually have very nice hearts and a joy to be around.

 

I agree.  Cheapness is a deal breaker.  Whether you have the money or not.  Like you said.  Tension and having to hide embarrassment to save face.......well, time to move on and look for another mate.

Baker.  I should come clean that those commercials are for my employer.  I don’t totally disagree, our marketing tends towards unabashed sentimentality, but I don’t think they’re THAT bad... and water DOES cause that much damage, lol.  Water losses are our most numerous type of homeowners claim and one of the most expensive.

Larissa was right to wonder why he met her at the airport empty handed. Colt definitely seems to have a backbone though which will work well for him in this relationship and make her respect him. I am curious why he thinks she will hate Las Vegas. Larissa seems to have gotten the sweetest deal, she lives in one of the biggest party cities in the country, probably less than 20 minutes from the strip, yet still has a normal quiet suburban life overlooking mountains. 

I dislike Jonathan and Fernanda, their fake fight, and she seems like the type who will want to start a modeling career from the exposure of the show. But I felt bad for her when the friend started in in the anti-mexican stuff that he said many people in the area felt.

Just FYI for everyone who missed it, she was raised Mormon but left it a number of years ago.

Not that it didn't (and to some extent probably still does) play into some choices she made/makes, but...just to add this in for context/background.

(And based on things on the show the first two episodes, I'm guessing she's not the only one in her family who did leave the LDS church)

I think he is sincere. 

She was not a teen. She was 28 years old!  If she did not want to get pregnant, she was fully capable of using birth control or telling him he needed to use condoms. 

We don’t know if he cheated on her. 

What would you expect someone who lives hand to mouth to provide?

Well, you need MONEY to enjoy the strip! Las  Vegas tourism ads will lure you there with cheap flights and hotels but once there.....it is a Spending Trap.  

Since, Larissa can’t even enjoy some air conditioning in a 1994 Corolla....I am gonna guess Colt won’t be taking her to the Strip any time soon.

 

The good thing is once she escapes Cheap Colt, Smother Colt and the Cats.... Larissa can find employment and make good money at the strip joints.

Agreed. It's the lack of generosity that gets to me. I can't be that way with other people and I can't handle being around it.

I'm sure she picked up her pronunciation of Samoa from her father, who is, after all, from Samoa.
