Word on Wilshire Blvd:  DR is set for Beverly Hills and LisaR may be downgraded to FoH. Who knows anymore?

I still haven't heard anything definitive about which one is leaving BH.  There's speculation about Dorit, Rinna, or possibly Teddi but no one seems to know for sure yet.

I haven't watched the most reason season (or maybe two), so I've no clue who Teddi is.

I pretty much stick with RHoNY because I have to buy season tickets through Amazon Prime (since I live pretty much off the grid like a hermit) and this franchise is the only one that provides enough entertainment to be worth my hard-earned money.

I'm hoping the next three episodes (especially with the boat debacle) really make buying this season a bargain!

Rinna makes for good TV. I don't mind Erika but she is quite guarded. Dorit can hit the road.

Last week I put a link in the BH Casting Speculation thread that says DR has signed on. No idea if that site has legit info, tho.

I am late to the game here as I was out of town last week and couldn't watch this episode until last night. It was so hard to wait!

My thoughts....I've never hated Carole so much as I did in this episode. I always saw her as a cold/arrogant mean girl. But, she took it to another level in this episode (although I say that after every episode of this season...). I don't care how much people don't like Bethany, and I know she has her flaws (major ones, yes). But, OMG when someone who was/is your "friend" is truly hurting and crying in pain, how can you walk away and say you "can't deal" and then admonish her to everyone else for expressing that pain? Carole's behavior was COLD. I actually yelled at her from my couch as I was watching.

Bethanny was spot on when she told Carole that she acted "too cool" for her and that she didn't get how someone just didn't feel any emotions.

I'm so ready for this smug faced, hipster wanna-be, biotch to be off my tv screen for good. She's my 2nd most hated HW ever (Dorit is my number 1).

After last season, ErICKa is definitely my 3rd most hated HW (after Carole and Dorit).

You can walk away when you finally get that is a manipulation... When you finally understand that you're kind of playing a game where the rules haven't been fully disclosed before the real game begins.... Eventually, you leave, for your own mental sanity, because you have been "hostage" of this game one time too much and you decide that enough is enough  ?

Disclaimer : my step daughter -that I love !- is now 23 and has a tendency to use crying to get rid of an issue when she's not done what she souhld have.... I NEVER enter that game, and continue the conversation like if no tear ever happened... And 3 minutes later, it's like if nothing happened... (She ALWAYS find a way to play her grandma, and deflect, but it's not working with me... Of course, when there are REAL tears/struggle, I'm here 1000% for her, and will always be. But don't play with me.)

I'm Team Bethenny - always have been and always will be.  This season was rough on the B Team and I thought it was because so many HW fans were Carole supporters so I was surprised to see so much anti-Carole sentiment posted here and on social media when she announced her departure.    I'm glad she's leaving and I won't have to look at her smug puss on my TV.

I like both Bethenny and Carole (and I never liked Jules), but this season I just don’t agree with how Carole handled their feud.  Just tell her it’s over!  Kissing B and saying she loved her was an ice-cold move at the end of that night, when Carole just doesn’t feel that way.

can you explain this to me?  :)

I’ll sure try!

Some folks who have sufficient money to pay their bills choose not to. A significant number of these apparently think they should be exempt. They argue with the “shutoff people” who arrive to disconnect power lines with such bon mots as, “Do you know who I am?!” and “Give me your name! I’m having dinner with [president of the utility company] and you’ll be in trouble.”

Makes no sense to me, but then less & less of the world does, the longer I live.

Amen @Diane Mars.  Carole wised up (took her long enough, but she finally wised up).  And if it were still just Carole alone wising up,  assuming Radziwill's an evil bitch turning her back unfairly on someone in need would be a fair call, imo. But Betheny Frankel is now surrounded by co-workers who deeply dislike her, or avidly lick her boots to avoid being verbally assaulted by Frankel again (poor fucking Sonja, cringing like a beaten dog).  One co-worker rejecting Bethenny Frankel creates an open question; three co-workers is a pattern; eight (if we include former castmates) is proof there's something deeply wrong with the one thing they all have in common: Bethenny Frankel.

I think Radziwill (as much as I dislike her) was Frankel's best chance to avoid becoming the bitter rich bitch on the show -- the one always shitting on people's relationships, accomplishments, sex lives, bodies (you name it, Frankel will pour verbal vomit all over it) -- Carole was proof at least *somebody* on the show genuinely wanted to hang out with Frankel when the cameras weren't running.  That's gone now; all that's left are the people who wish Bethenny Frankel had never returned to RHoNY.  I know the feeling.

I think it's more than eight who have had serious issues with Bethenny:

  1. Jill
  2. Luann
  3. Kelly
  4. Ramona
  5. Sonja
  6. Heather
  7. Kristen
  8. Jules
  9. Tinsley
  10. Carole
  11. Dorinda

The only housewives who have never had a problem with Bethenny are:

  1. Aviva
  2. Cindy
  3. Alex

And the first two never filmed with Bethenny.

Doesn't that say some shit. Even if we look at them as former coworkers, so many of the other women seem to be more capable of maintaining relationships with former coworkers. Bethenny has this scorched earth salted ground approach to relationships. Once she's done with them, nothing may ever grow there again.

It bears repeating that folks should also recall LuAnn's reaction to Bethenny's hysterics and dry tears and flopping on bags of stacked ice in a walk-in freezer: "I think we should still go shopping anyway."

Being able to survive reality tv is not a very desirable character trait.

And a mug shot doesn't negate anyone's experience.

Survival is always desirable.

You're right,  a mug shot does not negate anyone's experience.   However, it does add an irreversible black mark and giant red flag to an individual's life experience.   These women are lucky they'll never have to apply for a job and check that little box asking  "have you ever been arrested?"

I mostly liked Jules  (one of five people here :)  She was an asshole for making menopause jokes, but there was something admirable in her defense of herself. She was nervous, but unwilling to back down -- I liked that in her, liked that they had bullied her, but she confronted them anyway -- and she ended up (despite her nerves) doing a very good job of it.

For some people yes  -- probably many of the same people who think there's no way back from swinging your tits while dry humping some asshole in a trashy softcore porn flick.  (I don't give a fuck either way; mugshot or moneyshot, it's what you do after that counts).

Ha Ha!    Yes more black marks and red flags in the public domain just not part of official government records. Can you imagine being assigned to write the questions the network would ask a potential HW in an employment interview?

I LOVED that on WWHL .............."Both were asked how Bethenny has changed since they first met her. Alex says she hasn't changed a bit. Ramona laughs and pleads the fifth."

I love that Alex is basically telling us Bethenny is not changed, she was this girl when she started.

Yeah, I don’t have an issue with Carole making money off of social media. They all do this AND THEY SHOULD! I’ve never understood the idea that making money is a bad reason to join a reality show. If so, what’s a good reason? Undiagnosed personality disorder? I’m way more comfortable with the idea someone would do this show to bring in a paycheck then someone did it just to show the world how awesome they are.

Now it does make it really hard to take Carole seriously when she implies that she’s above  all the tacky silliness. I’m not sure I buy her “reality tv cultural anthropologist” shtick when she does stuff like this. I wish Carole had a more honest sense of self instead of constantly wanting to be both above  and in the middle of everything. However, on my list of Carole sins (it’s quite a list) this is super low. At least she picked the right donut company. Dunkin Donuts forever! Krispy Kreme can suck it!

No way!!!! Krispy Kreme forever unless we are in Texas then Shipley’s leaves them all in the dust!

I thought Jules had a mean streak herself, saying that the others were jealous of her, saying that they were all old enough to be her mothers, comparing her Old Money to their New Money.  (I think that last one put Bethenny off.)  She was a weird combination of Luann's pretentiousness and Carole's penchant for superiority, and as much as I sympathized with her ED, I never blamed the others for not taking to her.

Anyone remember when Jillzy was the "big bad wolf" on the show. People really didn't like her and, boy, did she get a hard time in the reunions of season 3 and 4. I kind of feel Bethenny has reached the level of dislike with the viewers Jill had at this point, but we never see her given a hard time in the reunions. She always gets off pretty easy. I'm going to be pretty annoyed if Andy doesn't bring up the pattern of conflict Bethenny has had throughout her entire HW run. Dorinda has even referenced it in her blog at one point. Bethenny has been on the outs with everyone at one time or another.

Me four!

I think it was child abuse - when she allowed her toddler daughter to be filmed sitting on a toilet.

Bravo should never have cast her for the show - she was mentally too vulnerable - with her ongoing issue with anorexia and bulimia and 80% of the Bravos scenes around food - no bueno!
