Gee...woulda been nice if they'd shared those finalist photos with us, either after the episode when finalists were announced or after the episode where the TCCs were chosen. I can see Lily in the middle of the third row and Cianna in the fifth row because of their hair. Heck if I can tell who anyone else is.

Lacey looks even more plastic than usual. She is starting to get on my nerves with how plastic fake she looks. Already had a nose job, boob job, lips, teeth, fillers. Then the extensions, lashes, contouring. She will look like crazy cat face lady before she hits her 30s.

Those poor girls. The cameos are atrocious! I cant believe Kelli would allow them to be released. What is happening to this once great team? Kelli and Judy need to retire. They are too antiquated and are softening the standards. The need for fresh new leadership is warranted before the reputation of the team is lost. Judy hasnt actually choreographed a dance in decades. She does placement and teaches intro. Other choreographers teach the dances. Michelle Keys or Denise DeCharri are great choreo contenders.

In response to John Galt: Do you think this will effect her chances of being a DCC?

She is at the Star "working out" a lot ensuring Kelli knows and hanging around the studio like a crazy girl fan. She is obsessed. Certainly there is mental issue that should be ruled out. It isnt healthy.

Long Time lurker just chiming in to say that auditions often don’t take long at all. More than once (including cruise lines) I auditioned one day, had a callback later that afternoon or the next day and got hired that night. They don’t have time to draw these things out, and are often traveling to many cities with many ships to cast.

Meanwhile...dog beds and sweatpants for everyone? I sure hope those were sponsored, because those group gifts sure can add up. I remember someone else giving dog beds as a group gift years ago. Can't remember who.

It looks like the groups; Maddie is center last row which is group 4, Amy is center 6th row which is group 3, KaShera is center 4th row which is group 2, and Lacey is center 2nd row which is group 1

Good call. That would make rows 3 and 4 group 2.

I thought Rachel was in group 2 though and I don't see her in those rows. Did they move her?

What I noticed about VK in last weeks show was she was finally sitting in the back but no one

was sitting in front of her - gag. The most noticeable thing was they never really showed shots of

her dancing. I also think the meeting in Kelli’s office was just another excuse to show her - again!

Every time they show her I get annoyed. She has messy hair and a lot of teeth.

Her mother, Tina, overbleached her hair, it’s also messy and way too long at her age.

Some women just don’t want to acknowledge they’re getting older. And her running in screeching

when VK made training camp so over the top and annoying.

Please let the Kalina family show end soon.

And I don’t think VK should ever audition for the DCC again.

It is one thing to be confident and quite another to be a spoiled, entitled brat.

The classmates should know that makes no sense. She’s getting so much attention in a show that’s going to end before the actual season begins? IF (and that’s a big if) the show airs the real reason, she’s busted.

For Dayton's audition, the ad said that callbacks would be the following day, but Shelly said that they changed their minds and made callbacks later that afternoon.  I know nothing about the process, but I guess this is pretty typical.  In addition to not having time, maybe it happens that they see all they need to know at auditions & don't feel like they need extra time to decide who they want to move forward.

Lord have mercy!!! She is on the verge of becoming crazy/stalker. Did her Mama buy her season tickets in those field level box seats, too??

I am really disliking her more and more. Nothing is worse than desperation run amok.

Most of their audition list a first day and a callback day. Dayton’s was listed the same, but i think they’ve done this drill for so long, they can be efficient. In London, they auditioned about 200 dancers from 9-12ish, made cuts along the way. About 30 were told to come back at 3:30. They had another round of auditions between 12:30 and 3:30 of dancers with agent representation. The afternoon audition had about 50 and they made two rounds of cuts and gathered info from about 20...literally said “just wait to hear back from us.” We now know that means, “you’re hired and we’ll get back to you with your ship & contract.” RCL reps did not ask names or questions until the callbacks at the very end, when they pulled their headshots and resumés. They made their cuts based on technique....ballet combo -cut, jazz progression-cut, jazz combo, cut. The call back was a different jazz combo-cut, added onto the combo and did a final cut. Dayton said every round from the morning to the end of the day, was done in groups of 5.

I don’t think it’s delisional...I think it was hopeful. I’m sure all of the girls that checked “yes” for SG consideration, were hopeful. Everyone handles disappointment differently, and I guess on this night it showed.

I am not the biggest VK fan, but come on. The kid has been dreaming of being a DCC since she was in the womb, and got cut for weight plus dance issues (oh yeah, and lying, but that’s not relevant here), so naturally, she should be doing everything in her power to fix those issues. Why not work out at Cowboys Fit and try to show Kelli she’s serious about the feedback and fixing her problem areas, especially when positive feedback WILL get back to kelli? She’s a stalker because she’s working out there?

If she were quietly showing up to work out and get healthier with the hope of people seeing her and thinking positive thoughts, okay---I get it. But keep in mind she's driving well over 30 minutes each way to go there and passing hundreds of other gyms in the process. 

But, as the OP suggested, if she's making sure Kelli knows she's there and hanging around/fan girling the dance studio constantly? Yeah, that's stalking. And an unhealthy obsession.

I also believe that the “fix was in” as far as Dayton goes — I can not imagine continuing to work for an organization after my daughter was treated so shabbily without knowing about in advance and while I appreciate ShellyB’s comments, I also believe that they are self edited knowing that TPTB read this forum.  I also discount her saying that she did not know the cut was coming — she works for the organization, she is there all the time and if she did not get a head’s up, all the more reason to put the organization in my rear view mirror.

As far TK goes — she lost me when she referred to a TCC candidate as “grandma.”  That was beyond being thoughtless.  Kelli, Charlotte, and Judy have to know that these shows are watched by the candidates and I can’t imagine how hurt that girl was when she heard that — its one thing to having your dancing is one thing criticized by your looks (dance 10, looks 3 anyone?) is another.

I think this entire episode has done more damage to Kelli’s image than VK.  As other posters have put out there, she has had blinders on before, but pushing what you want to see over the reality staring you in the face and cutting down other judges because they dare to say that the emperors has no clothes is a bit much.  I also think that it undercuts Judy to a certain degree — it is obvious that Judy has a better eye for dancers and the discrediting of her opinion has to sting.  

As far as Malena goes?  WTF?  You invite a girl into camp that you know was not even allowed on the field because she had no memory.  That was done strictly for story and was was unfair.  

Finally, if Kellie told her daughter not to try out — she should have extended the same advice to both ShellyB and TK in order to preserve credibility and friendships.  The fact that this board is steamed about this season and the tryouts of VK and Dayton is probably only a small reflection of what is going on in DCC world.

Finally, I don’t blame Charlotte — her team, her brand, her call.  She is the one writing the checks.

 She was cut on 6/30. She looked up RCL auditions on 7/1, bought our tickets on 7/2 and flew out on 7/10. It was definitely on her list of things to accomplish. She would also like to dance in NYC....so I guess if you have multiple dreams, you could call that “in the works”.

I wasn’t at rehearsal the night she was cut so, no heads up. 

I don’t think she’s ever told Sam not to tryout.

I wasn’t watching, but I could hear the music played over and over, while I waited outside. I think she said the ballet and jazz progressions were slightly bigger groups....they moved across the floor. Ballet was first and she said that knocked out almost half of the dancers. It was about 6 pm when she finally came out and said she got it!

I have not heard at all that Jinelle is in trouble. Jinelle did, however, tell Kelli and Judy when she found out that Victoria skipped the doctors appointment.

Take it with a grain of salt, but this is what I have heard from a couple of different sources. 

I believe it did happen this way. I also heard Victoria was called into the office about the whole not meeting with Jinelle and Jinelle was there also. No idea if the office scene will be shown or if shown, it probably will be heavily edited.
