  1. I so wish some US outlet would pick this up, like HBO Max has with Pottery Throwdown. I’m so sad it’s all been pulled from YouTube, 😢
  2. Y’all, re: Puto... I thought I was going to stab myself in the eye if I saw that petsmart commercial one more time but they have outdone themselves with the new and super annoying Trolli ad!
  3. Has anyone seen all of season 4 on Pluto? It seems they always skip to season 5 after a few episodes.
  4. It’s also Asshole in American Sign Language. Lol. 🧐
  5. Surprised no one has laughed hysterically at Kelli’s claim that is is the hardest, most comprehensive dance audition in the entire entertainment industry. Hahahahahahahaha!!! Clearly she has never been to a Broadway callback, or even final callbacks for Disney world! She really does have delusions of grandeur. Not saying these women don’t have to work their butts off, but please.
  6. Not sure where to put this, but amused by today’s IG story by Dayton....in which she does several perfectly controlled pirouettes. VK wouldn’t get past round one of any professional audition where they cut by having everyone do a double.
  7. Just wanted to pop in and say I was lucky enough to go see Neil Gaiman speak this week with Nick Offerman as the interviewer and special guest Michael Sheen. it was a delightful evening where we were treated to a couple of clips from the show. No spoilers, but this looks like it’s going to be really good!!
  8. I never equated the quality of the sport tram with the quality of the dance team. I was just asking the prestige of dancing for a minor league hockey team. I’m not sure of the audience size etc. coming from more of a theatre background, I have no idea about these things.
  9. Question for the Texas experts- is being an Allen American Ice Angel prestigious? It’s a minor league hockey team, right? Just wondering. It seems lots of DCC candidates come from here? Thanks!
  10. So has the “trust Erica Shepherd”... I worked on one of the episodes but it’s so bad I can barely watch so I ffwd the episodes to see if the scene made it in- more than once when I randomly stopped one character or another was saying some variation of “do we trust, can we trust, why do we trust...” etc. I was cracking up alone in my living room. I seriously don’t think I’ve ever seen a tv show with worse writing consistently. Also whenever they say Tal I immediately think of the oft advertised drug Taltz. 🤣🤣
  11. Good thing this filmed in New York, with tons of Broadway talent,
  12. I’m so surprised by all of the posters who loved this episode. I was so bored. I said out loud (to no one) this is BORING. I’m so bored! The end with the fire was devastating but the entire middle of Rogers captivity just dragged and dragged. And I still just think Sophie is not a good actor.
  13. Honestly, I enjoyed this episode more than any this season. DOA is the book that made me stop reading the series. Those of you saying it s a chore to get through the episodes...that’s how I felt about the book.
  14. She really hit the jackpot in terms of first contracts! So great to start out going to such exotic and wonderful places, especially with no cruise duties.(very rare for the dancers!) It is also much nicer to be on a smaller ship. I was very lucky to be lead singer on two separate small luxury lines but still didn’t get to go to the South Pacific! Also so nice that her ship will reposition several times, it helps to have variety to stave off homesickness. Most first timers get stuck with 6 months of Caribbean cruises, which while lovely, can start to get old unless you REALLY like the beach. Wishing her all the best -and remind her while she packs that they have stores where she is going;-). I wasted lots of suitcase space with items like shampoo and toothpaste that could easily be purchased- even in Japan and Hong Kong.
  15. Long Time lurker just chiming in to say that auditions often don’t take long at all. More than once (including cruise lines) I auditioned one day, had a callback later that afternoon or the next day and got hired that night. They don’t have time to draw these things out, and are often traveling to many cities with many ships to cast.
