I want to know what Sonja told Ramona in confidence about her marriage.  I can kind of see Ramona's point about not defending Sonja to Dorinda because it may have involved Ramona spilling the beans on her deep dark secrets, and Ramona seemed to take the responsibility of keeping them a secret very seriously.  I am shocked that Ramona hasn't blabbed what she knows all over town though, especially when she's had a few drinks!  Kadooz to Ramona for being able to keep a secret.

I love the real estate porn from Bethenny, but I am getting sick of seeing her buy/gut/remodel apartments every season.  Also tired of hearing how <<this>> apartment is her "dream" home for her & Brynn...haven't there been several of those already?I know the one she bought when Jason was in the picture had to go b/c of the divorce and bad memories, but what happened to the one she bought after being "homeless" and lived in the hotel? I also don't know why Lu can't find an apartment already!If she can afford it, there shouldn't be a problem.  If she can't afford it, then please stop the charade of Lu's real estate shopping scenes.

Dorinda, I'm trying to stay on your side, but the public sloppy drunkenness is becoming too frequent.  I also am not loving the over-platinum hair and make up this season.  

Romona looked fabulous with the shorter hair in her TH's!  She needs to keep this look up and never go back to her old long hair.  She looked younger and fresher IMO.

Also, f-u direct tv which goes bad every time it rains...gonna be a long summer. I can’t comment on the sit down because it’s just not playing. The only time I miss NJ is when the tv isn’t going to work because....rain! ?

That’s the big joke about direct tv - when there is bad weather, that’s when you really want to watch tv, but the dish doesn’t operate properly because of that weather - my friend tried to chisel snow off of his dish and busted it.  Apparently, with AT&T no dish is needed now?   Just wanted to say, I feel for ya!

I love Dorinda. "Nothing looks like the picture!" I need a spin-off - "Online Shopping with Dorinda Medley."

I initially agreed with Bethenny's decision to bring her to PR. We know Dorinda can get real and go casual. But the previews for next week do not look good on that front. 

 

I'm beginning to think Carole gets off on people speculating about the ambiguity of her relationship with Adam. "We're not boyfriend/girlfriend...but it WOULD be a betrayal if he went out with someone else." Ohhhh, the coyness of it all. 

I'm not sure what precipitated the make-up between her and LuAnn. I'm also not sure it will last. But I am sure that Lu is still as pretentious as ever - calling the driver, "Driver". Ugh. 

 

I see Sonja still can't get over Tinsley living with her. She really likes to paint a different story. She thinks that since Tinsley had money for other things she should have moved out much earlier? But she really wasn't there that long, was she? And let's be real, Tinsley living there was likely part-production. But Sonja acted like she wanted to be such a good friend, a mentor. Then she didn't want Tinsley hanging with any of her friends or having packages delivered, etc. She WAS a horrible host. And just because LuAnn wouldn't tell the same story means nothing. Tinsley is younger and comes from a different world, and I think Sonja thought she could kind of box her in. When that didn't work, she went for the jugular. That's just Sonja. 

 

I was happy to see Scott surprise Tinsley. I don't know why, I just really like them together. But her reaction was so extra. Falling on the floor, then sobbing into his chest? Girl, simma down. I also thought it was cute that her mom knew enough about him to plan a custom stocking - but no!!! You can't put the ex's dog on there!!!

 

Lu and Missy at Ramona's party was interesting. I'll never believe Ramona wasn't at least trying to stir the pot a little. But it was nice to see them admit that the MAN was the problem. I mean, who wants to fight over TOM? Ick. And now they're both after some younger guy named Richard? That was hilarious, when Dorinda scared him off! 

Sonja shows up and is as delusional as ever.  Okay, she is right about one thing - Ramona DOES love to apologize quickly and move on, without ever really changing. But Sonja is too focused on what others have done "wrong" and doesn't seem willing to fix HER issues, independent of what others do. And that final moment, of her telling people that the girls are yelling because, "they don't see enough of me" - it would be sad if she wasn't so vicious on top of it. I just can't bring myself to feel empathy for her any more. She may have some issues, but I think even without those issues she'd be an awful person.

Well, Ramona did say that she didn't know Sonja when she/Morgan were married and that she only knew what Sonja told her! Make me think/suspect that Ramona does think Sonja cheated on Morgan. LOL

Yes, I was curious about that as well. The way Sonja said it, it sounded like whatever Ramona knew would erase any doubts people had about Sonja's fidelity. So was it that Morgan was cheating as well? They had an open marriage? What? I mean, I can't really think of ANYTHING that would make cavorting in the South of France while someone is in the hospital look good.

It was kinda ridiculous but the over the top falling to the floor and caterwauling into his chest wasn't the worst of it to me. The cringe came into it for me with the dead flower bit. Telling him that she was keeping them until they got back together and then asking him if she should/could now throw them out. All the talk of her being light, fun and keeping it cute got napalmed. Dude literally just walked through the door, they haven't even discussed their issues or got re-acclimated after not seeing each other and she springs that?!?! Scott's awkwardness became a palpable thing. Mom is suspect too. Inviting down for Christmas and knitting him a stocking? 

It just seems convenient that they got back together just as filming began. Let's see what happens after the season is done airing. Tinsley seems high maintenance, spoiled, shelter and needy but some men love that.  For some reason, I can see a Shannon/David (RHOC) dynamic developing between them - poor little rich girl vs self made dude. She says she is fascinated by him because he isn't a trust fund baby like her usual men and friends, but that means dude actually has to work for his money and can't jet off with her just because and likely values a dollar and budgets for shit. We'll see.

Why was Sonja doing the jewelry check, anyway? Was she checking to make sure that, every piece she was wearing when she arrived, she was still wearing? Where would the jewelry have gone? Why is she always so paranoid that someone has stolen from her or plans to steal from her? She guards her luggage when they go on vacation. Was she traumatized by a burglary once upon a time?

Ramona looks very good in two of her THs. Whatever she had done, two or three years ago, the overstretched facelift or eye-lift, seems to have settled or loosened up. Her skin used to look so taut that it had a sheen to it. And the fillers are not so noticeable. The short hair/wig/topper is great, but I wish she would just commit to one short look - - sleek and straight or soft waves. Instead it looks like someone folded her hair. Or the wig was sitting in a bag for years, and no one bothered to brush it out. 

I am stunned that Ramona is handling her divorce so well. Made more obvious by the way Sonja continues to dwell on hers.

Does Carole know how a break up works? When you are broken up, even if you are friends with benefits, the other person is free to date, hook up whatever. Adam is free to date whoever he wants and it's not a betrayal. Plus, last season she absolutely refused to call it a break up, just a "step back", um girl has serious issues. Carole plays it cool but she's a stage five clinger with this guy and I'm a little worried for his next girlfriend.

I'm dying with anticipation as to what Bethenny says about him that causes the falling out.

Ramona did the lowest thing one can do-it is like taking the fifth by proxy.  First she claims not to have been around Sonja when she was married so she cannot vouch for Sonja's version of the marriage and then she claims Sonja confided in her.  Ramona not so unintentionally  made it sound as if Dorinda's claims were fact based instead of founded on rumors.  Typical Ramona and she is as annoying as ever-who hosts a party and then is one of the first to leave?

This exactly. I get the sense she still sees herself as a cute young thing and hanging out with these older ladies likely just reinforces that (though Bethenny is only 5 years older than her). So she acts like a 22 year old with her first serious boyfriend. Carole is no relationship guru but I did laugh at the scene where Carole was talking about how boyfriend/girlfriend are Tinsley’s favorite labels. She just comes across as incredibly juvenile and not really having a job adds to that. Lots of these ladies don’t work now but they did at Tinsley’s age or they were raising kids. Bethenny works like an animal now. What does Tinsley do all day when they are not filming?

I am now a resident of NJ after a life as a born and bred New Yorker. Its nice. Of Course now we are considering a move for work. 

Back to these broads. Tins is leo and we be passionate but shes ridiculous. I also have a theory why some of these ladies dislike her. Her life mirrors what their kid's lives could look like. Rich, vapid, eternally childish. Kinda like sonia's entitled ass minus the rich part. 

Ramona has the worst taste in everything. Her delusion in thinking she has the "best taste" is admirable tho.  That bitch commits.

Carole claiming Luann should have contacted her after she and Adam's break up-what break up?  Carole claims they had a cooling off period after he moved out-before the Reunion last season and has been bringing her coffee ever since and since the marathon they are seeing more and more of each other.  So was Luann or anyone else suppose to call and say -oh sorry about your decision to re-classify your relationship from boyfriend/girlfriend to not dating others and still seeing each other?

There is a huge difference between a divorce and a reclassification of relationship with an expiration date.  Does the CaroleAdam relationship have a "best by May 20** discard after Dec 20**?  Carole offering the relationship advice when she seems to be a tad clueless making sure like a proper stalker to keep a joint custody pet in the picture.  Guarantees contact and control.

Speaking of on again off again relationships Dennis accompanied Bethenny to WWHL last night. On WWHL, a caller asked Beth which HW she thought has had sex with the most men. Beth couldn’t decide between Lu and So. Andy wanted the backstage crew to throw up graphics for a viewer poll, which NY housewife has had sex with the most men. They misunderstood, and it became a poll regarding who has had sex with more men, Lu or So. 

Dennis was in the audience wearing a Snoopy (Peanuts) sweatshirt or sweater. Not sure if it was a Gucci.

When in season 8 Carole got a dog named Baby and was calling Adam "Papa" I totally got that vibe.  Paging Dr. Freud!!!

 

Ramona would be the one out of the ladies to wear a promise ring, pledge pin or go steady.

How do you see them gaslighting Sonja? I don't see the women lying to her to make her think she's crazy. That's Sonja's role. She's delusional about what Tinsley owes her for staying over.  She said Ramona was in love with the help,  and Ramona is such a freaking snob,  I believe Ramona when she says no way. Sonja acts like a divorce 12 years ago just happened,  she has to get a storyline, and she takes every opportunity to dig at every other woman on the cast,  except Bethany,  she can. She's known to sell information about the other women, some true and some not, to magazines. As a guest she goes into people's rooms, goes through their personal items,  without permission and wears other people's clothes,  without permission. (That is such weird behavior,  I don't know anyone,  outside of family, who would do that.) Then she cries victim when the women try to explain why they are upset and is either too drugged,  too stupid,  or too much of a narcissist to comprehend why they are upset. Sonja is gaslighting and then playing the victim. 

I understand Dorinda's intensity,  having dealt with sort of personality before,  it's frustrating. The problem is Dorinda goes OFF when she's drunk,  and she's drunk a lot. Nobody wants to see that.

I’m still not following Sonja’s beef with Tinsley. She saw Tinsley tweet that she donated $10K to Beth’s PR relief fund. She also refused the check that Tinsley gave her at Ramona’s dinner party, purporting to not want her money, she wanted her love. 

Lu didn’t complain while living with Sonja, because Sonja didn’t treat Lu as if Lu was her inferior.

The other tacky moment was Bethenny saying her favorite part of the show was watching Kelly implode when she had her meltdown on St. John's.  That was more about Bethenny being an incredibly malignant person-who delights in another's life altering mental illness moment?  Kelly has said she never recovered from Bethenny's crazy label.  For all the politically correct women on this show they do not hesitate to malign another's mental illness and use it as a weapon against them instead of trying to help.  Carole can comment about the use of the word "driver" which is not all that uncommon-it is not as if he is assigned to Luann full time and she has a personal relationship with him.  Carole picking nits.

Hello, she used her own mother mental illness for her own gains.

Sonya complains that Ramona didn't defend her to Dorinda immediately after Sonya had just stated that Ramona had sex with her contractor, Mario. Why hasn't anyone brought this up? This to me seems like a better defense for Ramona. 

And while I typically like Bethenny, she felt sorry for Sonya sitting at the end of the table by herself? A couple of years ago, Sonya missed out on half the season's hijinks - including a trip to the Berkshires - because Bethenny was pissed at her!! So, please, Bethenny, give me a break.

Not to endorse Sonja's behavior but I do think she feels as if she put Tinsley up and Tinsley bonded with Carole.  There were photos of Carole and Tinsley attending some big society ball together, while Tinsley was living with Sonja.  When it came time to make a little money Tinsley and Scott went with Carole instead of Sonja and now Dorinda for the Coupon Cabin commercials. All in all I think Sonja needs to move on.   

Staying at Sonja's was one of those great production ideas (and economical for production as well) that lost its charm after Luann's two week stay at Sonja's.  This year according to Luann, production required she get her own place in Manhattan for filming.  Luann got a penthouse.

I think Carole is still trying to spin the image of being this crazy girl who doesn't cook, keeps sweaters in her oven and is the life of the party.  Um, no. She doesn't want to define her relationship with Adam because that's what free-spirited and zany people do. She doesn't want to live with him, she doesn't want to say he's her boyfriend or they are in a committed relationship but if he dates someone else, that would be a "betrayal."  Not getting that at all. 

When we were first introduced to Adam, weren't we told that he eventually wants to get married and have kids?  That should be the major obstacle in his relationship with Carole.  She's said she doesn't want to marry again and has no desire for kids, right?  That should send him packing.  If that doesn't, her style choices, as well as her penchant to eat with her mouth open like a cow chewing curd, certainly should.

I thought for certain Carole was going to tell Lu that Lu should have sent her a text over the marathon.  Lu does have a point - - if you're truly a friend and you hear that she's going through a divorce, the proper thing to do would be reaching out.  Redefining a relationship does not count and it's not the same, Carole.  I guess Carole is going to expect texts (or should I say "text-es") when Adam commits a "betrayal" by dating someone other than the nondefined Carole.  Or maybe a casserole.

I forgot to mention earlier on this topic: it was hard to see Tins' face during the ridiculousness of the rotting nosegay explanation to Scott. The whole thing was so extra, and she had her face at a slight angle (those flowers reeked), BUT the LOOK on her face was absolutely dead to rights psycho. She was mouthbreathing, hyperventilating and her eyes were scrunched together in the most unbecomng manner. It's worth a rewind.

Even as somebody who writes copy professionally, I still tend to make plenty of grammatical errors (that's what editors are for!). So I'm generally pretty forgiving of other writer's mistakes.  But I'll concede that "Scott and I" is a pretty bad one - especially since that's her opening sentence! 

However, the rest of her blog is pretty on target with what most of us have been saying here about T:
