And previews for next week, Lisa has never met Patrick? Uh, what? I seem to recall a moment during the season 2 reunion when Andy asked who had met Patrick and Lisa was on that list. 

Also the seasons over next week already? I feel like this season went by pretty quickly. Then again.. I’m more excited for the reunion(or maybe reunions since they come in parts now). I’m excited for the aftermath of Schenas Rob love affair, how Brittany and  Jax are still together(spoiler alert they are but I feel like everyone who posts here knows this, see also their instagrams/Twitter), what the deal is with Jeremy and of FI ever says sorry to the girls, and if Tom tom is actually going to be a restaurant at some point.

i know the Jax & Britt split didn’t take, so I just don’t care at all.  Their dogs are pretty cute, though.  Jax always looks lost while he’s home alone.

Yeah it does work for either Tom even though I was writing for FI Tom because I feel like he is super judgey on everyone even though he makes quite a few of the same choices as everyone else.

Also the “getting Jax” speech just explains these people and how they forgive Jax ANYTHING! Forget the sleeping with Kristen thing and how long it took them to let her back in this group but Jax openly tried to break up Schwartz and Katie. Because he didn’t like katie at the time and while Schwartz did hook up with a random in Vegas, Jax was happy to have this to info to break them up. And didn’t he try to break up FI and Arinia as well at one point?

Jax is a better actor than the rest of them but I don't believe anything that comes out of his mouth (or eyes). I still think he's a psychopath. They're very good at manipulation and when Jax is good he's really good. I also noticed that in his talking head all he could talk about was if breaking up with Brittany was the right decision for him. This whole thing has been and will always be about him. This was never about doing what's right for Brittany. Such BS. (Side note: I also have a graduate degree in the mental health field, though I don't necessarily think a degree is necessary for armchair psychology.)

Tom and Ariana are not good actors and I wish they would stop acting on this show. All of their relationship drama and Ariana's self esteem issues have been so fake. Every time there's an issue it's resolved sitcom fashion in a five minute talk on camera or with one act by the other person (usually Tom). Neither sounds authentic when they're fighting or talking about their issues with others either. I think Ariana was put on notice that she was going to be demoted if she didn't bring it this season and she and Tom concocted these lame fights to give her a storyline. I can't get invested because it just seems so phony.

Scheana was hardly in the beginning of this episode and not missed. Once she showed up I groaned inwardly. Of course, she makes Lala's performance all about her. No gems about Rob's greatness and how perfect their relationship is. I wonder if they had already broken up by this point or she finally got the message that he was about to end it.

So right! Jax is all and only about Jax/Jason. It’s really very predictable and boring by now. He’s old and tired and needs to retire from this show already. His storyline is that he has peaked and burned out. Pretty pathetic since he has already cashed in all of his sympathy cards. Wow, sucks to be him. Unfortunately, I think they will make up again, because sadly, she was the only gf interesting enough to get him a spin-off.

And then there she’s randomly shown at the near end of the episode, lumbering in while hanging onto Rob, merely uttering “I feel short” to him like the brilliant conversationalist she truly is. And then gazing up at LaLa like the green-eyed monster she is, whining about how she misses her own pathetic showcases while sputtering on about her two lame singles. LaLa’s not exactly the next Erika Jayne, but for a gal who claims that up until a few years ago she didn’t even sing, I thought she hilariously blew poor old Scheana out of the water! To quote that other self-absorbed Bravolebrity hag Kim Zolziak-Bierrman, “Jealousy is a disease so get well, bitch.”

I hate the way Jax goes around telling everyone that he is "a terrible boyfriend" and "it's not fair to Brittany". Like he did some noble thing by letting her go. He knows damned well and good he just wanted that burden of a live-in girlfriend off of his shoulders. 

Except now he's texting her, because he also needs to feed his ego. 

Brittany, on the other hand, has the boobs out and is enjoying her freedom. Too bad we know it's all short lived. It appears he uses his father's death to manipulate her back into his life. He's sick and she's beyond co-dependent. It's sad and frustrating and I can't watch another season of this. 

 

Arianna is a straight up nag. "Don't go out with your friends", "Make cocktails for the book!", "If we get a house you can't play with your friends any more." Egads. I wonder if she got Tom's permission to kick it with Brittany and Scheana. 

Also, does anyone really believe they're buying a house? Someone tell me there's Instagrams of them still in that depressing apartment. I mean, they SHOULD move. That place is awful. But baby steps. How about just renting a nicer place? Before you go putting yourself into debt to own a home. If you need a down payment from your parents in your 30s, just remain a renter. 

 

I think the idea of progress party is the fucking dumbest thing I've ever heard.

No, I'm not into Lala and James's type of music at all, but it was lightyears beyond the embarrassing "tone deaf in a tutu" (thanks, Stassi!) Scheana SHAY. I mean, I cannot stand rap, but I didn't think James sounded silly rapping. I did wonder how much Lala paid that "squad" to walk in with her though?

Why would you continue a relationship with someone who has fundamentally different values from you?  Ariana never wants to get married and have kids.  She's not going to change her mind.  Tom wants to get married and have children, he should never have to compromise either of those goals. They're wasting each other's time.  Kids and marriage are the top two things you must agree on in a relationship.  Never EVER wish that the other person will just change their mind.

I actually thought Erika Jayne could learn something from Lala here. Lala’s performance outfit was really sexy, but also sophisticated. She looked amazing. She did not look like someone threw Frederick’s of Hollywood and Party City into a blender and slapped the results on her, while trying not to smirk and giggle, as the other stylists have to leave the room, because they’re doubled over laughing.

Objectively, I think Rob and Scheana look stunning in this photo. I think Scheana looks so pretty without the false eyelashes. 

The dog looks so adorable, however, I feel really bad for the dog, having to be involved in that.

Not so objectively, I don’t understand posting this kind of photo. My mom and dad, siblings, coworkers and high school Calculus teacher might see that. 

But I appreciate her seeming more self-aware and less delusional in the post.

In theory, Jax breaking up with Brittany is a mature thing to do because he's fucked up and needs to work on himself but giving him any benefit of the doubt was short lived with learning that he slept with her right before breaking up with her and then by the end of the episode is texting her. Jax wants the best of both worlds. He needs to break his women enough so that he can feel comfortable with getting away with his shit and knowing he can talk himself out of it. If it wasn't insulting enough that he cheated on Brittany, the fact that he breaks up with her 'for her own good' and then reaches out to her again because he needs his ego stroked and a physical fix should have been enough for Brittany to realize that her love isn't fixing that trainwreck. I can't even enjoy seeing single Brittany because I know it doesn't last.  Jax's tears had me laughing. He said all the same things when he was with Stassi. He blamed his stupidity and unfaithfullness because of the way she treated him. When he lost her, he talked about how great she was and tried hard to win her back. The difference between then and now is that Stassi was strong enough (and smart enough) to walk away for good. This guy has TWO therapists and he still can't show a single sign of improvement??? This is not a good way to promote your abilities as therapist, lol. 

Scheana, are you jealous because you want to be back on stage or because you got to see someone who can actually sing? lol. Lala did a great job. At first I thought she was lip syncing but I realized it was the background vocals that made it seem that way. She's got a great voice and I like that her stage presence didn't take away from her ability to deliver her vocals live. 

Sandoval really talks about this restaurant as though it's totally his...not like the 5% owner he actually is. Ariana was such a nag. It was barely a date, you guys were just hanging out in your old broken down apartment. Aside from the fact that his friend is Jax, I would appreciate being with someone who is able to nurture relationships for a long time and can be there for the people they care about when they need them. Again, the fact that we're talking about Jax being that friend takes away from the point a bit. 

I think James admiration for Lala is real. I think she gets him in a way that not many have and it's earned her ride or die status in his books. Even when during her performance, Raquel looked beyond proud and excited for Lala which says a lot that she can trust James enough that she doesn't become a catty jealous bitch toward Lala.

Perhaps. But the fact that Lala is 20 years younger and can also actually carry a tune are just naturally going to place her in a different - and much more well-received - category than Erika Jayne. In my opinion, of course.

I think Lala is in that stage in her life that some women go through - mid-20s, wanting to sound cool, tough and sexy, so they just curse a lot, talk about sex and their pussy all the time and do some kind of ghetto-tough-talk.  Lala can get away with all of that because she's very pretty.

 

James and Lala do have actual talent - James can DJ and rap, and Lala can sing - not like Sheana who's not a singer, not really anything, and FI, who may have played in a band, but not actually that talented and is never focused.  Lala needs to know that having a good voice alone won't be enough - millions of people have good singing voices, but we only know about a handful of them.  I'm not sure she knows just how much time and work go into making yourself into a singer who can make a living from it.  Rehearsing alone is a full-time job, and that part doesn't even pay!  It's probably easier now because you can do a lot of self-promotion online, but you still have to work more.  Well, good luck to both of them.  I hope they keep their focus on their music and make it.
