Romana looks actually happy, vibrant. It's such a contrast to where she is now, she's ruined her looks, she is profoundly sad, she has lost her mental capabilities. It's really a cautionary tale. Sad.

She was a loon then, but definitely looked better.  What's on her head?  Her hair isn't that thick?

'up to a point' but what point.....2, 3, 4 injections?  should the dr say 'no more'?

I don't have any familiarity with it so I don't know. (But that doesn't stop me from commenting notice! ;) I'm going to guess...they have one, it begins to fade to about half effectiveness, then they get another before all the filler has been reabsorbed...and so on. Personally, I think doctors should say "enough now for a while" and maybe some do. But Brandi Glanville's doctor or cruise ship medi center or wherever she is going isn't doing him or herself any favors in the advertising department, imo.  I just find that look so unappealing. But a lil botox between the brows, no problem...the entire forehead? Problem (to me).

Here's my take on it.  Hair reaches a length where it is just weighed down by the volume.  It has no style.  These women spend a fortune on the dress, the make up, the facialist and then top it off with a long mass of string.  If you want it long you need to employ the 10 people doing Erika's mane.

Dorinda didn't say chop it all off.  She said 3 inches.  Give the haircut some shape and style.  Anyone can just grow a ton of hair, ok maybe not Ramona who is buying a ton of hair.

I don't hate long hair.  I just think there is a point where it has no style.

Am I crazy but isn't Ramona schilling extensions, maybe I dreamt it but it would make sense she is trying to show off her goods.

She did look great in that pic!  I wish I will look that good in my 50's!!

I think really where she went wrong was the boob job.  She has a small frame and it made her appear heavier.  She did not need it, her figure was cute.  But she probably thinks she had to to get a man.  Men her age can date women in their 40's, it's not easy to be her age and trying to date.

I agree.  Her new boobs make her look heavy.  When I first went through menopause, I gained 20 pounds.  As a forever 34B, I hated having bigger boobs.  They accentuated my weight gain.  Thankfully, that's the first place I lost it, along with the 20 pounds.  Ramona should have them removed, along with her hair extensions.

I am a firm believer in if it makes you feel better, do it.  The housewives have to be culpable when it comes to doing too much to their faces however if they go to a different doctor each time, each doctor's ego might think they can do better than the last doctor so it's more botox, filler, sugery etc...

As a casual user of Botox I can't seem to get the doctor to do enough that I can tell the difference but I guess being that subtle is a good thing.

Subtle is a word Brandi and the like does not know.

Tinsley still wears tights and Mary Janes like she is 5 years old.  This woman has a problem.  The list currently stands at:

Same Hair

Same Dirndle Dress

Same Story Line

Same Tights

Same Mary Janes

She's obviously emotionally stunted. When Bethenny told her to grow up, she whined about "getting in trouble" and people "yelling at her", like she's a 4 year old. She's a little long in the tooth for the baby doll makeup, tights, and ringlets.

I'd never categorize myself as a Ramona apologist, but I wish she wasn't so incoherent and flailing, because most of her points are valid. Bethenny does make everything about herself. Pot, meet kettle.

Bethenny is pretending to be completely blameless, and she's clearly not. The only difference is that no one will stick up for Ramona because they're terrified of upsetting Satan Andy's favorite. They are all so desperate to stay employed that they just keep trying to shush Ramona and save her from herself, instead of trying to get Bethenny to be reasonable. They saw what happened to Heather and Kristin...

Beth has said more than her fair share of nasty things to Ramona and to all the women. She went in hard at Sonja, then Lu, and now Ramona. It is a pattern, and it's ridiculous that she gets to play the victim so vehemently each time, while also acting as trip coordinator and God - doling out punishments, rescinding invites, ending friendships. I used to think Don Caro was bad but Beth has her beat by a mile.

And every time Beth goes in at Tinsley she shows a little bit more of her ass. She screams at Tinsley about a living situation when this was a woman who two years ago sobbed in a limo to Fredrick about being HOMELESS and living in a grand hotel. Girl bye. Tinsley's not allowed to look your way as you're having a conversation at the very same table? Get the eff over yourself. You are not Beyonce (Queen Bey frequents the casino in LV where my mother works and apparently forces dealers and other workers to wear opaque eyewear so she can't tell if they're looking at her. No one is allowed to speak directly to her.  She's a nightmare). This kind of behavior is childish and disgusting no matter what level of success you have reached, but you, Beth, are no Queen Bey.

Tinsley's hair could use a little punching up, but I'd get real annoyed with these queens of extensions telling me to cut my hair every five minutes. The truth of the matter is that Tins is about a decade or more younger than all of them, and they're seething with jealousy over the fact that she can go out in Eloise clothes and barrel curls and still pull it off. Maybe only for a couple more years, but she looks and acts youthful, and not in Ramona's desperado manner.

Agree, agree, agree...and although I like Tinsley, she's annoying AF and needs to grow up. The baby doll dresses, tights and ringlets are annoying. Her whining about her life is annoying and constant victim status is old. I'm cool with her staying on the show but she's gotta stop the baby crap. Woman-up!

I know this sounds odd, but I get it at my dentist office every six months!  As explained to me, they have to study the muscles of the face, so it's natural for them.  I get 4 injections of botox on the muscle between my brows.  It costs me about $200.  It stings just a tiny bit, but it's really nothing.  They'll ice you up if you want!  I'm tempted to get it done to lift my brows, but I'm worried about that surprised look!

Dorinda would have been in-utero when That Girl premiered and all of four years old when The Mary Tyler Moore Show premiered.  Maybe by age 11 Dorinda's US geography skills had not developed.  MTM 1970-1977,

That Girl 1966-1071.  Wow that was really a long time ago and yet those images endure.

I went a little heavier this time around on the botox, my son's wedding has been the driving force for all sorts of make over stuff for me, I did the botox brow lift and I love it.
I guess these women think since they are on TV they have to look their best so maybe some of it are freebies and maybe the pay for some but being on TV can make you see things on film that aren't there in real life so they "take care of it, constantly."

I vote That Girl too.  Dorinda was born in '65 but there must've been reruns or syndication, something?  I can recite Brady Bunch lines out the wazoo (raise your hand if you just said Marsha! Marsha! Or maybe once again Dorinda is just flapping her gums to be heard.  She doesn't want anyone else talking ever-because they might say something, accurate, interesting or intelligent. Small chance but a chance nonetheless.  All chances are removed once she starts gesticulating and running her mouth.

Now why'd you have to go and throw Rhoda up in there?  That's my girl for real.  She cannot be confused with anyone else, remember, Rhoda (and Brenda) were the ones who were supposed to be chunky compared to Mary.   All of a size 6 or some shit.  Out here being brainwashed for generations, no damn wonder women mess up their looks.

Is it possible that DorDrunka confused this with the Flying Nun? She's always high as a kite. Might explain the arms flapping for balance and direction.

The pilot episode was Chicago native Elsie Ethrington arrives in San Juan from New York City after her arrest for having been involved in a protest; she then adopts the name of Sister Bertrille.

I loved Rhoda and her sense of humor and style.

I have had a change of perspective about Dorinda this season.  I enjoyed her, even felt bad for her drunk butt, when she was arguing with Heather over the use of the F-word, the other ladies picking on John and then all of a sudden it hit me-she is incredibly self-absorbed (just like the rest of them) and the worst kind of back biter.  I have decided to adopt the theory-the reason Sonja wasn't invited to the Berkshires last year, is because Dorinda didn't want to be outed for she and John's involvement in Tipsy Girl.  Her attitude regarding being in Luann's wedding and Luann's marriage is pretty disappointing.  The bitch won't back of her stance that Luann was monopolizing the conversation by saying, "I'm glad I am married," when the other women wanted to talk about their relationships.   Sorry Dorinda you contributed your John story about his penis size, and Carole had just gently booted Adam out of her door.  The others are not in relationships and the topic was butt sex-and Dorinda should have known because she just had to weigh in.  Tinsley stole her thunder when she answered the question so now Dorinda is all about insulting Tinsley.  Tinsley is an Olympic day drinker and shopper, slurred the hall of famer martini drinker Dorinda, Page Six figure attacking men with her stilettos at noon at The Regency no less.  Now it is Tinsley's clothes, Tinsley's hair anything she can lord over Tinsley.  I think Dorinda is afraid there might be a new fan favorite in Tinsley.

Anyway compared to Ramona, I am a Dorinda devotee, but even then I don't get why Dorinda doesn't just kick Ramona to the curb.  Let her hang out with Sonja until even the stench of Ramona can't be hidden in the rotting mess that is Sonja's Grey Gardens.  I guess what I am saying is Dorinda has a lot of negative to say about everyone (Including her beloved John) and doesn't know the meaning of the word loyalty.

I'm about to turn 50 and have always looked younger than my years but this year I noticed my frown lines looking a bit deep. I had the doc do some minor filler. Needles in the face stings a bit but tolerable (I hate needles). I'd give it a 6 pain wise but only for a quick second. I've had it four months and hasn't worn off yet. No one I know even noticed I had it done, I just look less tired. If and when I need it I'll do a Tamra of the OC, we're the same age and the lower face lift she just got looks amazing. I  was confused as to why Dorinda told only Tinsley that she needed to cut her hair, when Ramona, Carole and Sonja all have long hair.   Carole did have hers shortened, and I think it looks good, but it's still long compared to Dorinda's hair.  I think they all look fine with the length they've got.  If Tinsley is happy with it, then they should quit bugging her about it.  To each his own.  That's a very personal decision - and yes, I think she would look good with a shorter haircut, but that is going to be a big step for her, so they should back off and let her work out the important issues she has.  The length of her hair isn't on the top of her list of issues to deal with!

Length isn't the problem with Tinsley's hair to me.  It is how she styles it.  Its too young of a style for her combined with her frills/mary janes.  Long hair can look great on any aged woman.  Its how its worn.

I've been doing Botox for years. My "Botoxer" is a board certified plastic surgeon and very good with the 'ol needle - no pain at all.  I have my "squint lines" and crows feet done every 4-5 months and look totally natural (and younger than many of my friends of the same age.  No, I am not delusional, this has been pointed out in photographs).  I think you need to determine what your pain threshold is, prior to getting the Botox.  It isn't as painful as getting a tattoo, but it's more painful than having a facial.

And, going back to Ramona, I think she's a perfect cautionary tale to all not to jump into physically changing their looks while still going through a life changing/life shattering event.  (Maybe this is why Tinsley hasn't made any changes to her appearance yet).

I agree.  She could stand to have a few inches taken off, and a better style.   I guess what bugs me about these woman is how they won't let an issue go.  First it's the constant Tom bashing, now they're focused on Tinsley's hair.  I've only heard it mentioned twice on the show, so hopefully they don't keep bugging her about it off screen.  IMO, there comes a point when you can tell that a person doesn't want to hear your advice anymore.   LuAnn loves Tom, Tinsley loves her hair!  The ladies should move onto something more important.  YMMV.

As far as Ramona goes, I feel sorry for her as a woman and fellow human being.  Same with Bethenny.   I hate to see anybody go through marital woes like that.  I may not like how they behave on this show, but I can empathize with the situation.   I'm sure her self-esteem was in the toilet.  I think that Ramona is still reeling from the betrayal and is trying to find that once youthful person she was.  She knows firsthand how some men will betray you in a heartbeat for a younger woman.   That really shatters your trust in men and women.   FWIW, Ramona was stunning in that red dress.  I could personally thump Mario on the head for what he did to her.

Yeah it really needs to be dropped after a mention.  She isn't interested.  Its like Tamra's hair on the OC.  She looked beautiful on WWHL with the shorter hair.  Truly stunning.  With her extensions?  She looks older and not quite as lovely.  One last comment on Tinsme's hair.  She has a long face and the hair sitting as curtains on the side makes her face look longer.

I had a thought.  Wonder if Tins picked out her clothes as a child/young adult?  I have a friend that has loads of family money.  As an adult she had an awful time shopping because her mother always paid for a stylist to dress her as she was growing up.  As an adult she had no clue what to buy, what looked good on her, how to put an outfit together.  Wonder if that is Tins problem??

Even if she just went about 2-3 inches shorter and got some bangs and maybe added some highlights/lowlights it would totally boost her style and give her more of a youthful edge.

Agreed -- she used to wear bangs, and I love them on her  (maybe she needs to return to an even younger self :)

I believe she said that she gave Mario half her earnings when she had her own business, not that she gave him half in the divorce.

I thought she was referring to the divorce, as in (as others have said) they split the assets 50-50.  Not that surprising considering it was a long-term marriage and their daughter was an adult at the time (college payments were likely split betw them too).  She can get off her high horse with "I gave him half."  Likely he had way more $$ than she did.

Too sweet!  It's me (now/then) but I tell him I only want gifts I can use after we break up (we're Adam and Carole lol).

Then go for really good jewelry you can pawn/sell.  It comes in handy, believe me.

Now why'd you have to go and throw Rhoda up in there?  That's my girl for real.

Love Rhoda (on Martha's version of "The Apprentice",  Bethenny reminded me of Rhoda - it's  why she caught my eye -- now she reminds me of Phyllis ; )
