And could the planned trip to Florida mean that Anna has decided to at least consider divorce? If she's gone and presumably being taken care of by her family, then the Duggars have even less incentive to want Josh back.

I don't know; she'd have to be in Florida for a year before she can file for a divorce there, whereas she can do it in Arkansas right now. So I'm not sure how traveling to Florida would help. I'm also not sure she's actually in Florida, but that's a different question. :-)

Now that we've seen what purports to be a current picture of Meredith, not just in front of a random Lowes but in the TTH, with Michelle, I guess we know Anna's not in Florida at this point, anyway.

If the first situation regarding Josh's behavior towards his sister happens "all the time" (but I'm not sure this is the quote Jill or Jessa used) but frequently in fundie families then Anna might get another Josh-like husband. Maybe she would be more comfortable with what she knows. Me personally would get myself into therapy (which I did when my first husband wanted out - not same situation but I needed help) and figure out in which direction to head. Hopefully away.

I'd like to think Anna could find a nice guy, but I don't know. A Fundie woman with four small children, no education and no plans to get a job is serious dead weight for the average man. If she marries Fundie, she'd be scraping the bottom of the barrel and probably end up with some old perv or a closeted gay who will cry after sex. She's in a tough situation.

This may be a dumb question, but is the first time in his life that Josh has been away from any of his family members (including his wife)?

He was sent away at 14 for treatment (renovated a Hobby Lobby into a strip mall church).

Looks like Meredith is being held in the JB home.  I knew Michelle would take over the infant grandchildren now that she can't have any more babies on her own.  Also, if they've got Meredith it pressures Anna to stay with Josh.  Anna needs a good lawyer.

Did Joshy go to that Alert Camp?

I think he just did construction for one of their friends.  At the time of his molesting the Duggars weren't yet TLC funded or fundy royalty so  don't think JB had enough money to send him there.  They were living for free at a house some church let them live in.  Also - Michelle had her famous laundry room breakdown in the house around the time Josh did his laundry room attack on the 5 year old.  Coincidence Michelle? Laundry room breakdown, over laundry or over Josh's dirty laundry?

Thanks! I'd forgotten about that. Wow. Outside of his days at work, the only time Josh has been away from Duggars, has been when he was sent away for punishment...oh I mean treatment.

You could be right, I don't know.  Was Michelle freaking out about laundry though at 6 or however many kids at that time?  I thought she had the laundry room breakdown around 10 kids.  I don't know.

I think the 5-year old incident was when Josh was reading with the girl on his lap and the laundry room incident was with an older girl. I always thought Michelle's breakdown took place much earlier when there were only 5-6 kids but I could be wrong.

You could be right about the timing of the laundry room incident, but I think the Josh laundry room attack was on the 5 year old - as well as the lap attack on the 5 year old.  I don't think he attacked any of his older siblings while they were fully awake.

The 8 year old was the one that got attacked in the laundry room, i believe.

 No, it was the youngest. The 5yo.

 

 

It was 1:00 AM in the morning as I stood folding laundry with tears streaming down my cheeks. Feelings of being overwhelmed flooded my mind. I cried aloud, "LORD I NEED YOUR HELP, I can't do it all! I feel so inadequate! Diapers, dishes, laundry, meals, cleanup, school lessons, baths, hugs, kisses, correction..." My list seemed to go on and on.

Then it was as if a still small voice said, "Michelle, it's easy to praise ME when things are going good, but are you willing to praise ME now?" Immediately the scripture that says, "Offer up a sacrifice of praise", came to mind.

I said, "OK Lord, I will praise you even now! It really is a sacrifice!" So through the tears I began to sing, "The joy of the Lord is my strength". In my heart there was a release as if a burden had been lifted. I finished the laundry at 2 AM and went to bed.

Days later, I was at our piano teacher's home (at 7 AM) trying to catch up on paperwork while the children were taking their lessons. Instead, I kept drifting off to sleep! The teacher noticed and asked, "Are you OK?" I replied, "I'm fine, I'm just tired. I was up late finishing laundry."

As we talked more she said that she actually enjoyed doing laundry and that she would be glad to come and help me! That weekend when she arrived we had mountains of dirty laundry, and when she left we had nice, neat, orderly stacks of clean laundry! For 12 years now, our piano teacher, whom we consider a part of our family and loving call "NaNa" has faithfully come (now twice a week) to help us with laundry! GOD sent "An angel" in answer to my cry for help.

He is faithful to hear the humble cries of his children. "Humble thyself in the sight of the Lord and He will lift you up." God lifted my burden (literally mountains of laundry!) and freed me to meet the more urgent needs of my family. "Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto Him be glory..."

Remember mothers, where God guides He provides!

Thanks for the clarification JoanArc.  So, the laundry room breakdown of 12 years ago does coincide with the Josh molesting attack on the 5 year old.  I think Michelle had the laundry room breakdown because of Josh's dirty laundry.

Does anyone else think this is just a far-too-detailed way for Michelle to pretend she didn't have a cleaning lady?

"Alice" said Michelle hadn't done any childcare in years, so yes, I believe they either had a cleaning lady or fellow church members came in to do the scut work.

Regarding Meredith, it freaks me out how Boob and Michelle are using her as a prop. IMO, it almost seems like they're fucking with Anna and holding the baby hostage. It reminds me of the Katie Holmes situation where she literally had to take her kid and run to get away from Tom Cruise. From what Anna's brother said, her parents aren't going to be much support if she chooses to leave, so maybe she's resigned to stay married to Smuggar.

The laundry room story was told several years ago so it's much more than 12 years ago for the actual event.

I thought the laundry room breakdown happened after the second set of twins was born (or when there were only 7 kids - I can't remember their birth orders), and that's when the buddy groups really became a thing. That was long before Josh was 14, and started on his sisters. The police report had the 8 year old as the laundry room victim, and the five year old as the lap victim - both awake and aware, which directly contradicts JB & M's "it was only over the clothes, while they were asleep, so it was no big deal."

I know I shouldn't but I can't help but feel some compassion for Josh since he isn't able to be with his daughter on her birthday. I had to miss one of my daughter's birthdays when I was deployed and as a mom that really depressed me. Poor Josh is in Jesus Jail right now watching Cisco eyefuck some donuts while that one creepy dude keeps tying men up to demonstrate their bondage to addiction.

Actually, the timeline is NOT right. 

 

Mechelle had her laundry room breakdown when Joseph, now 20, was a baby...at the car lot house. 

 

Also, Josh helped refurbish the building Hobby Lobby SOLD to Gothard for $1. It turned out to be an ATI training center and pretty plush in a sterilized way from the pics I saw. 

 

I just wanted to clear these up so people didn't start chasing rumors down the wrong rabbit holes. :)

If sexual abuse problems are as bad in fundie circles as Jim Boob and the girls indicated to Megyn Kelly, a new husband (possibly with his own children) might be a serious danger to Anna's kids.

I was thinking about this and I don't think Anna will leave Josh and marry another Gothard-fundie. If she leaves him at all, it will be because all of these events have caused her to have a serious crisis of faith. She did everything she was supposed to do regarding purity and "pieces of her heart" and "courtship," etc. and this is how God rewarded her?

That is something I hadn't considered.  I was thinking maybe she thought she wasn't faithful enough or something.  Good point.

Sadly, I won't be surprised if Anna decides this whole situation is just God testing her faith, so she will work hard to pass this test. Thinking any deeper than that will surprise me.

SMH I don't even know what to make of that comment, "testing her faith." Really how much can the girl pray before she wakes up to the fact that she did nothing wrong? She married a guy that is morally corrupt. He is the problem not Anna. I so wish we was being de-programmed now. All I see is a life full of unhappiness for her. She will just become bitter and miserable. I know I would if I saved myself and he got to party while being married. Just wrong.

Josh was spotted tonight. In the first half, he could be seen on the left in the fourth row in a maroon shirt. You'll notice the shape of his head. His body language screams boredom (head propped up by hand) and disconnection.

I got banned from the RU live feed for admitting that I was lusting for Ryan and Cisco (I do love the beefy boys).  I admitted I was drunk.  Shouldn't they have offered me help rather than blocking me?  Doesn't seem that Christian to me.  What will happen when Josh admits he is masturbating to prior memories of porn he has watched? Will they kick him out?

It is around 49 minute mark.

I have a zoomed in screenshot of the guy. Can't seem to get to post here, but the close up doesn't look like him. Zooming in on a far away shot may distort things a bit.
