The quote about what you'd do if you won the money said "Spend more time with my kids." Meanwhile, this ridiculous monstrosity in the living room probably took 10 hours to do and it's hard to believe the kid hadn't come out of his room in all that time while it was being built. Also, if you want to spend more time with your kid, how about building something together? I just think the whole commercial is stupid. I saw a version with a woman who won the $1K per day lottery and sang about how she was spending all of it every day. How about putting some away for later? 4 Link to comment

So first of all changing your clothes indicates exactly what about one's life? And clothes have nothing to do with credit scores. very very stupid commercial The one where the brain trust tosses her friend's phone into the fountain is worse, although they are all pretty bad. OMG, I'm in the exact same boat. I'm buying a new car this month, and I was looking at a list of different car makes to see what I might be initially interested in, and I had an actual revulsion to Chevy when I got it, lol. And then I told myself I'm being silly to reject an entire car brand out of hand because I find their current commercials INSANELY annoying, and I did go to the website to see what they had in my price range. And then I saw the commercial where the one guy literally drops to his knees and hugs one of the trucks. Chevy's off the list, lolololololol. Edited March 6, 2017 by mattie0808 8 Link to comment

I'm not sure I've seen the exact ad you're talking about, and am not familiar with what special editions are in the works, but my understanding a of "special edition" car usually just means the manufacturer only plans to make some limited number with the exact specifications. So, regular editions, they'll just keep making them if people are buying them (or you can order it in whatever configuration you want). Whereas a special edition means "we're making exactly 200 purple, manual, whatevermobiles, with 16 usb ports, and back row seats that'll sing your kid to sleep" or whatever mashup of features it is. I'm exaggerating on purpose. So, if there are five special editions, that's not necessarily unspecial, it just means the combination of stuff that's being offered in a limited amount has five different varieties. 2 Link to comment

Suddenly, what I guess is supposed to be her future self bursts into the room and tells her not to do it, that if she lights that cigarette she'll become addicted to smoking and it will ruin her life. First off, dial it back a notch, Sally Struthers. Yes, smoking is bad for you, and yes it is very difficult to quit. I should know, I tried more than once before I stopped, but good Lord.
