The connection to NC seems to be through the pastor of the church where Jer preaches at the camp. It's not clear how they hooked up. Maybe the pastor was a Counting On fanboy who slid into Jer's DMs. 😃

I keep thinking about how Jeremy characterized the entire Book of Psalms about seeking happiness when in reality quite a bit of the book is about what seems like textbook depression. Some of them are just really bleak. In fact, I am pretty sure there are more of them that are laments than exuberant outbursts of happiness or joy. If I'd been sitting through a sermon and a pastor said that, I'd internally roll my eyes and assume they hadn't read the whole book if they just reduced the psalms to being about happiness.

Jinger just posted the video of their trip to Arkansas. Not sure why she waited so long, They appeared to be one big happy family. They few into Texas and Justin and Claire went out with them. There was no JB talking I am not sure there was even a glimpse of him, I may have missed it.  Jill seemed to be driving Jinger around on their sister's/girls day. They stayed with Joy and Austin and different family came by, Jana and Jason stayed late. The went to dinner with Joe and Kendra and kids.  What I would like to see/hear are the conversations that were not on the vlog.  I didn't pay enough attention to catch anything interesting. Edited to add I see on Reddit that there is a shot of Lauren pregnant at the time of the visit.

I didn't watch. Is this the one from a while back when Joy was still pregnant? Pre SHP and Jill's book announcement?

Yes, Joy put out her vlog shortly after the visit and the pictures they took were posted the beginning of April but the visit was probably in March. Joy should have taken more time to edit hers; Jinger's  was edited much better. Joy talks too much and her camera work is jerky.  It still seems odd on the trip they stayed with Joy instead of her BFF Jessa. Though the whole family get together was at Jessa's (I think).

I wondered about that too. Maybe the 4 kids are too much for the Vuolos, maybe the risk-your-life bunkbed was off putting or maybe it had something to do with Jinger's book.

Jeremy spending the day with Austin was too funny.  Watching Austin shop for stuff at Lowes, watching Austin load equipment onto a trailer, etc.  You could just hear Jeremy's inner thoughts:  "Will this day never end?!"  But Jinger later says that Jeremy loves Austin.  Okaaaay.

It was cute to see how excited Jinger and Jill were to hear their names on the radio.

Re Jinger and Jeremy riding through the campus of the University of Arkansas and Jinger talking about how beautiful the campus is, I wonder if she was thinking about how she could have gone to that school and gotten a degree if things would have been different.

Jana needs an accountability partner for her to travel, remember? She needs for it to be a male also. Ben's part time job seems to be the Duggar male accountability partner as he travels with Michelle and any of the unmarried female Duggars. Jessa does go with him. I don't care what they say, Jana may be able to travel as she pleases but she is not allowed to travel by herself. This is a 33 year old woman. How sad, really.

I'd wager some women posting right here have husbands, brothers and sons with that SAME haircut.

It signifies nothing except ridiculous man-style at this moment in time. 

It absolutely signifies something to some of them 🤷‍♀️.
