A-Lo March 30, 2020 Share March 30, 2020 That was very uncharacteristic of Quinn to come clean like that. And then...poof...we're in her living room with Ridge. No fall-out with Eric. No slinking out the door of Brooke's home. Or even better...Brooke kicking her ass out! Tres disappointing. 10 Link to comment
Gam2 March 30, 2020 Share March 30, 2020 How many times do we have to revisit the same plots over and over and over and over? Or maybe it’s our fault for watching this crap and rewarding the sad writing all of these soaps are suffering with now. When we have to root for a sorry character like Quinn you know we are on a serious slide down hill. 2 4 Link to comment
BoldDays March 30, 2020 Share March 30, 2020 (edited) True @Anna Yolei, Nick definitely came close to being a true Bridge challenge, particularly in the early days. I guess I’m remembering a lot of his jealousy towards the end though. Plus his subsequent merry go round with Bridget, not to mention Katie and Taylor just killed any Brick affection I’d ever had. It’s also likely my own personal bias that I view Bill as the biggest threat to Bridge. I love what Don Diamont and Bill have brought to Bold, and that Brill have managed to continue to show a connection even a friendship of sorts whether together or apart. I think that’s also partly down to the KKL/DD chemistry. And as @nkotb points out - Bill is hotter than the sun! Although I agree Ashley Jones was only used sparingly, I thought she did a good job reacting to the situation. She had a good mix of here-we-go-again skepticism towards what Brooke was saying, and not really any shock, which made sense given what she went through with Brooke. And Quinn and Steffy’s reactions were entertaining as hell. Popcorn, anyone? 🍿 Edited March 30, 2020 by BoldDays 7 Link to comment
Joimiaroxeu March 30, 2020 Share March 30, 2020 Almost every person in that room has either cheated on or cheated with someone else in the room. Or both. All those hypocrites can GTFO with their shocked and disgusted looks. Bradley keeps going to this "one kiss!" well. Wonder if that's personal issue for him or someone in the Bell family? Kind of like his repeated sketchiness about consent and calling a sexual assault what it is instead of a "misunderstanding." Quinn: I am 100% that b!tch! Everyone: And? How can Shauna be in love with Ridge? She barely knows him. What's she probably in love with is the idea of marrying an heir to a family fortune. Flo's apple didn't fall far from that tree. Oh please, Vegas is a few hours away from LA, tops. It's not as if Shauna was moving back to the other side of the world. Quinn's already watching Ridge & Shauna porn scenes in her head. 😝 1 4 8 Link to comment

sugarbaker design March 31, 2020 Share March 31, 2020 I DVR B&B daily, for the past week I've been watching every episode, but I live in the NY/NJ area so news about the current situation often interrupts B&B. CountryGirl March 31, 2020 Share March 31, 2020 I just cannot with Quinn proselytizing about the Brill kiss when she has done far worse. She attempted to kill Deacon and Liam, the latter more than once. She kidnapped and raped Liam. Conveniently, she forgets she had an affair of her own with Ridge, while very married to his father, Eric, and while he was engaged to Brooke. I'm sick of show trotting out yet another round of shaming Brooke, the proverbial winner of the slut-shame sweepstakes. Gross in any age but especially in the year 2020. How clueless was Eric, standing there, letting his wife preach on to the entire room when she has nary a splinter to stand on, telling her former roll around in the guesthouse bed partner how he deserves better than Brooke? Better as in Quinn? Well, she'd fuck him for sure if she thought she could get away with it. Shauna is the next best thing and she keeps her will never be clean hands clean. And having Ridge, who was physically and emotionally cheating on Brooke with Shauna for WEEKS before they were broken up can just FOAD. In a fire. Or via Bill dropping him into the ocean via helicopter. I also can't bring myself to give a tinker's dam about Katie, who is a fool for thinking she's anything more than 2nd runner-up for Bill so long as Brooke and Steffy are alive. Plus, for all her histrionics, she's screwed over the niece standing across the room from her, by cheating and becoming pregnant with Nick's baby, all while Bridget was working day and night to find a cure for her heart condition. And she also cheating with Ridge while he was engaged to Brooke, faking a heart attack at her sister's wedding to the schlub FFS. And likely orchestrating the whole thing to get back at Brooke. Which, okay, understandable, but she doesn't get to claim the wounded victim act she's putting on nor the moral high ground. So she can STFU, too. 18 Link to comment

I think you hit on the nail why Bridget has been so adored in spite of her own cheating once. Besides being treated like the Meg Griffin of Los Angeles, she never used her past as an excuse or explaination for what she did and was immediately horrified after the deed was done. The closest thing to it was telling Nick one time "you owe me" (which he absolutely did), and I have to believe that was for the audience's benefit. This is the entire opposite of everything Katie's done since the day she stormed into Storm and Ashley Abbott's date, flipped shit and shot her own fool self trying to wrestle a gun away from Storm. That's pretty valid, tbh. I definitely hated Bricky for a really long time after the show turned Nick into a raging, jealous lunatic, and then once he became a serial cheater on Bridget. Even still, Nick at his absolute worst is still a far better leading man than any of the ones currently on the show except Bill (when Bill is not waging war on women young enough to be his daughter). Gam2 March 31, 2020 Share March 31, 2020 I haven’t liked TK as Ridge since day one. His raspy, whispering voice got on my last nerve. What really disinterested me in his character was his one-note way of acting. It especially hit home yesterday when he stood there looking at Brooke as she cried, apologized and begged him to forgive her. He looked at her like he couldn’t wait for her to stop talking so that scene could be over and he could leave the set and drive home. He had totally checked out of that scene and was wondering what was for dinner when he got home. Of all of the actors on this show, I think he’s the worst by far. Give it some effort and some spark, TK!!!! 11 Link to comment
Joimiaroxeu April 1, 2020 Share April 1, 2020 (edited) Are we supposed to be impressed by how self-sacrificing Flo and Shauna are? Yeah, nah. It's their way of justifying the how they easily step into other people's relationships. Pssht, forget The Kiss, I don't know why Katie took Bill back after he slept with Steffy. She knows who he is and what he does. It's Bill being Bill. Quinn just walks into Brooke's house like she owns the place. Brooke should've called 9-1-1. She had an intruder. A good woman like Shauna? Please. Quinn, you wouldn't know a good woman if one fell out of the sky and landed on your head. Edited April 1, 2020 by Joimiaroxeu 2 15 Link to comment
Cool Breeze April 1, 2020 Share April 1, 2020 Brooke isn’t being slut-shamed. Slut-shaming is about unfairly maligning a woman for having sex, either with gusto or in significant numbers, or both. And it’s wrong. No, Brooke is being fidelity-shamed. Because she doesn’t have an ounce of it. It’s not about the sex, or the kiss, it’s about cheating. With her sister’s man. Again. And it’s unbelievable she can stand there, in her mid-fifties, having learned absolutely nothing after sleeping with her daughter’s husband, her other daughter’s boyfriend, her sister’s husband, etc., and call herself “reckless”. I’ve watched this show from he beginning and I would never have characterized Brooke’s behavior that way. She’s not reckless, she’s just remarkably inconsiderate, in the purest sense of the word. She’s not malicious. She simply doesn’t consider the feelings of anyone else before acting. And I can’t believe they’re going to this well again. 19 Link to comment

She's never set out to purposely destroy a family, revisionist history aside, but she doesn't THINK before acting either or consider why certain things are incredibly inappropriate. But that said, I wish it wasn't other cheaters, murderers, rapists, liars and scoundrels clucking their tongues at her and ONLY her. I haven't caught up on this week, but no one except Ridge was bitching out Bill on Friday's episode and he was equally guilty. 11 Link to comment
smartyshorts April 1, 2020 Share April 1, 2020 (edited) Gotta love how "It meant nothing!" is a legitimate excuse used over and over on Soap Operas. CountryGirl April 1, 2020 Share April 1, 2020 Quinn to Ridge yesterday: "Brooke isn't who you think she is. She thinks she's the Forrester matriarch, your mother's successor? She's not. She's not the Forrester matriarch. She is the Forrester Tramp, and you've got to let her go." Quinn to Brooke yesterday: " You gave in to your raging libido, not me." And later this: "He's starting to see that, if destiny is a lying, cheating slut from the valley, it's okay to kick it to the curb." And this: "You showed him exactly who you really are, Brooke. It is absolutely LAUGHABLE that Quinn thinks she's educating Ridge on who Brooke is. He's heard all of this before from his mama, seen Brooke do what she's gonna do, and has loved her and come back to her and she back to him for decades. What someone needs to educate her on? Eric eventually will cut a beeyotch loose over trifling crap- especially when she hasn't birthed him any kids and she's targeting the mother of his kids. I wish someone on the show who DGAF mode showed Quinn all about herself and actually made some headway on her finally getting some kind of comeuppance. It can't be a man because her glittery hoo hah will be their undoing. I don't even trust Deacon to do anything because he'd be thirsty enough to put aside the attempted murder to jump her again. Jane Tuesday April 1, 2020 Share April 1, 2020 I watched yesterday for the first time in months, and I haven't even really been following along. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that circle of people condemning Brooke. I don't like Brooke. I was a Taylor fan back in the old OLD days when I used to watch, and even once I started watching again off-and-on several years ago, I still was never a fan. All that "destiny" crap, and the constant inability to control her damned self, is just so incredibly weak. But this? Was gross. Brooke absolutely deserves to be called out by Katie, and even Ridge. (Two wrongs don't make a right, and all that. I'm a firm believer that you should move on, not cheat.) But seeing her stand there crying, pleading, and being judged by all those hypocrites coming at her from every direction filled me with visceral disgust. I mean, I know people like seeing the characters they "love to hate" get torn down. It can even be great for characters you love, because the highest highs come after the lowest lows. But did anyone enjoy that? 1 7 Link to comment
Gam2 April 1, 2020 Share April 1, 2020 The absolute hubris/nerve/gall of Quinn to barge into Brooke’s house and call her everything but the kitchen sink is unbelievable. The only thing more unbelievable is that Brooke didn’t call 911 to have her arrested for trespassing. Or grab her by that fake hair and throw her out of the front door. Or hit her over the head with a lamp. Or stab her in the heart with a knife that happened to be laying on the coffee table. This show just gets more stupid and insulting by the day. 2 10 Link to comment
A-Lo April 1, 2020 Share April 1, 2020 Ridge running over to Shauna's and telling her he'd follow her to Vegas was the middle-aged version of Liam placing Hope's still-warm engagement ring on Stuffy's finger. This is a man who just hours ago was thrilled to have been reunited with the "love of his life". I get that seeing that video was shocking, disturbing, whatever, but who in their right 50-something years old mind runs directly to another woman? On the same evening??? It would've made far more sense for the Ridge-drunk-at-Bikini scenario to have occurred after the Brooke/Bill video made its worldwide debut. Then he'd at least have some kind explanation for tossing away a marriage of how many years for a one-night stand with Shauna. Then, again...I'm once more expecting any of these storylines to make sense. PS. Not condoning one-night stands after a shattering breakup. 1 10 Link to comment
Joimiaroxeu April 1, 2020 Share April 1, 2020 Meh, I'm about over Quinn and her Morticia Addams look. Halloween is a long ways off. Ridge is basically asking Shauna to be his consolation prize. What woman with any self-respect would settle for that? Ugh, he is such a pig. I do not get WTF is the big deal about being the Forrester matriarch. Why is that title automatically bestowed upon whichever woman happens to married to Eric at the moment? Or whichever Forrester man has control of the mansion at the moment? Yeesh, you'd think the Forresters were friggin' royalty or something. Wonder how many people's private moments could stand up to public scrutiny based on a hidden recording of them? I'm not defending what Brooke and Bill did but they both knew it was wrong, regretted it afterward, and agreed not to go there again. In the overall scheme of things, I think the party attendees' reactions were way overblown, mainly because of the video. There's something about seeing a thing with your own eyes that can add an extra, often irrational punch to your emotions. Quote But did anyone enjoy that? Oh yeah they did. The Brooke/Logans hatred is ferocious out in certain corners of soap fandom. 5 Link to comment

Joimiaroxeu April 6, 2020 Share April 6, 2020 (edited) I liked Steffy's dress. Not sure how Sally getting Wyatt back will jumpstart Dr. Penny Peloton Guilty Conscience Face Escobar's career move into fashion design. Plot contrivance is contrived. Flo falsely representing herself as Sally's friend. Seriously? As if her feeling entitled to speak to Sally's doctor isn't a big enough violation. So effing out of line. 😒 Sally, your slip of the tongue wasn't a real issue. Wyatt was looking for any excuse to dump you because Flo was hovering nearby. How does Sally still want this guy? Someone on another soap forum commented that Sally Flo dresses like she buys her clothes in the Juniors department. I think that's 100% on target. Her outfits tend to be slighty too short and too tight, like they're only the wrong size. But I see now how they're often a bit young for her too. Since she's rebuilt her whole life on her high school romance with Wyatt, it stands to reason that she's mentally stuck in her teen years and dresses accordingly. Edited April 8, 2020 by Joimiaroxeu D'oh. Meant Flo, not Sally. 1 8 Link to comment
Ohwell April 6, 2020 Share April 6, 2020 Speaking of bad outfits, the other day Flo was in booty shorts and long boots. Who the hell wears boots inside? 1 7 Link to comment

Waldo13 April 7, 2020 Share April 7, 2020 Poor poor Wyatt. Sally made him feel that her life on his hands. Wyatt’s eyes spun in his head and his brain started to overheat. I’ll bet you dollars to donuts she will want to have sex for old time sakes. I sure hope that Flo will weed out the truth from Dr Designer before Wyatt gives in to Sally’s desires. 4 Link to comment
smijca April 7, 2020 Share April 7, 2020 (edited) Poppin’ in to say how SALTY I am that Bell continues to try to completely tear down Sally’s character with this stupid storyline. Sally’s move today, trying to emotionally manipulate Wyatt to trade good times to give her drive and motivation to beat her non-existent deadly disease, was a new low. But it’s STILL not as low as Flo taking hush money and refusing to tell the truth about Beth being alive, all while watching her cousin suffer heart wrenching pain thinking her baby was dead, just so she wouldn’t lose her lame high school flame! WE STILL REMEMBER, BRADLEY! #neverforget Congratulations to the idiot writers for making everyone on this show unlikeable. But I’m with those who say that will continue to root for Sally against bland Flo just to spite them! Edited April 7, 2020 by smijca 17 Link to comment
Joimiaroxeu April 7, 2020 Share April 7, 2020 Quote Sally dated Wyatt in High School? From Wyatt's character profile on Soap Central: Quote Wyatt ran into his high school sweetheart from Las Vegas, Florence Fulton, at a restaurant and finally got a chance to apologize for suddenly leaving town because of one of Quinn's shady business arrangements. She never got over it, apparently. She later went on to have a relationship with Dr. Trafalgar Square, which makes it all the more weird to me that she and Zoe are pals now. Or at least Zoe considers them pals enough to be defending her to Steffy. Not good enough pals to invite to her botched wedding though. 😑 1 3 Link to comment
CountryGirl April 7, 2020 Share April 7, 2020 That's another plot point that was dropped - the fact that Flo and Dr. Fuckingham were former lovers - it's clear they had a past fling in Vegas and were making out in the midst of the babynapping/trafficking. Just another example of where Flo gets to skate. 15 Link to comment
Ohwell April 7, 2020 Share April 7, 2020 I know Sally's playing sick but I don't blame Wyatt for not wanting to kiss her. She looks like her breath stinks. 6 Link to comment

Just another example of where Flo gets to skate. Has any single character gotten to skate so thoroughly as Flo? Even Saint Taylor who could do no wrong in the 90s had her hypocrisy laid bare more than once, and by Ridge himself no less. Even Steffy, Brad Bell's previous pet, has seemingly lost Liam for good after her midnight ride on the stallion and accepts that Liam's moved on. But Flo doesn't even have a tenth of Amber's moral fiber, which was paper thin and even she seemed to grasp why the Forresters were done with her after she nearly got Bridget and Ridge killed and left LA with her head down. But the difference there is no one in Amber's life enabled her bullshit. I honestly have a smidgen more respect for Zoe after the Tomass wedding disaster, because her atonement actually DID help Hope and Liam in a direct way that helped to get the life they were robbed of (legitimately this time) at her own expense. I still won't cry if she left tomorrow but I can legitimately consider them even...or as even as one can be when you've lost months of time with you baby. CountryGirl April 7, 2020 Share April 7, 2020 Katie to Steffy today: "I'm SO glad you're seeing what a great person Flo is." That's your kidney talking, Katie. Tell it to STFU. Elsewhere, Sally tries to put the moves on Wyatt and girllll. But this fuckboi ain't interested and in what universe would he eschew hot-as-hell Sally in favor of a baby thief who dresses like a toddler? Who, btw, is looking for Dr Peleton to violate dr/patient confidentiality. And she can also STFU about Sally "emotionally blackmailing" Wyatt. Bitch, you cheated with Wyatt behind Sally's back how many times? Oh and don't forget the pesky little matter of being an accessory to kidnapping, human trafficking, and lying your ass off to your newfound family, Hope included, and all to protect your cushy adult onesie wearing life with Wyatt. 16 Link to comment
Ohwell April 7, 2020 Share April 7, 2020 (edited) I never thought Flo or Sally were that "hot" (Flo with those eyebrows, Sally with that protruding chin). That said, I can understand Wyatt not wanting to get it on with a "near death" woman (with bad breath). Also, while he's hurt her in the past, right now he doesn't want to physically hurt her because he thinks she's frail. Edited April 8, 2020 by Ohwell Added something 1 1 1 Link to comment
Gudzilla April 7, 2020 Share April 7, 2020 Did the writers think that scene with Flo talking to the doctor made her look caring ? All I heard was "blah blah blah... why isn't she dead yet" . 5 8 Link to comment
Joimiaroxeu April 7, 2020 Share April 7, 2020 OMG, who does Flo think she is lowkey trying to browbeat Sally's doctor? And how does she know what's out of character for Sally? She barely knows Sally except as a brief rival for Wyatt's attention. Well I guess I'll give Wyatt some credit for not caving in to Sally's histrionics. What she was proposing was macabre, IMO. Wyatt should've never started his duplicitous "for the rest of your life" stuff to begin with. WHAT AN AMAZING PERSON FLO IS? AYFKMWTS, Brad? You're not going to turn this baby-stealing skank into a heroine. Not even if you have every character on the show give her a tongue bath every single day. 😒 Sally. Wyatt doesn't still love you. I'm doubting he ever did. You were never more than a placeholder to him. 😕 1 13 Link to comment
Waldo13 April 8, 2020 Share April 8, 2020 I only got to see the last 10 minutes or so, because of preemption, but I saw enough to see that TIIC have turned Sally into a Brooke, Stuffy, or even a Caroline in their willingness to GET THEIR MAN. No Sally, you had Wyatt not until she called Wyatt Liam. Sally lost Wyatt to a stronger feeling of love. The same as Stuffy lost Liam to Hope. Brooke lost Ridge mainly because she reminded him of his mother in Brooke’s overbearingness, narrow mindedness, and self absorption. Flo is 100% correct, Sally is using emotional blackmail to win Wyatt. Here Sally is the same as Caroline using emotional blackmail to get Lurch to leave Sally. Wash rinse repeat. Same plot different characters. Watching B&B is like watching a hamster spinning its wheel. 7 Link to comment
