She should have said, "I used to fuck your father, Kiki, you know me!".

I was sitting here for a while trying to figure out who Kiki's dad is. And I literally couldn't remember. LOL.

I hope Seth kills Liz. Put me (and @LeftPhalange) out of my misery!

I am so completely and utterly over Hayden and Finn, together and separately. I hope Brad tells everyone Finn is a drug addict and then steals the drug, patents it himself, and makes a bazillion dollars.

There was so much stupid in this episode, yet none of it was funny. Damn, it's like they could at the very least provide me with some UCG but no they can't even muster that!

Franco's SOS note cracked me up. It looked like a grade schooler wrote it.

Shut up, Amy. She needs to go before Brad does.

Why didn't Sam call the PCPD when she found Franco?

LOL at Rebecca Budg's face when Amy called her friend. I also liked Griffin's "Yeah, yeah, yeah" when she got all defensive about her relationship with Finn.

She's completely unnecessary. I get she's a shout-out to Shell Kepler's Amy, but she was obnoxious, too. However, Amy Vining was connected to Laura. This one was simply dropped into the show to drive us all insane. Please, Show, lift her right out.

I mean, Amy 1.0 was obnoxious with the gossiping, but she could also be a good friend, a good sister, and (from the little I've seen from vintage clips of her and Lesley) a good surrogate daughter.  Amy 2.0 is just obnoxious gossiping.  And we haven't seen her in forever, why is she all of a sudden back?

The show really went out of the way to waste the momentum those two had.  Between this cycling back to drug addiction for Dr. Michael Easton and The Sex being off-screen, I wonder if something's being rewritten?

I forgot to say: Finn expects people to believe he played hockey?

That made me laugh.  No offense to ME but he looks like if he even remotely got checked into a corner, that he'd disintegrate into a fine powder.

Why didn't Sam call the PCPD when she found Franco?

Because she wanted information from him before anyone else shows up.  Which is why she didn't want kiki to go with her.  She wants to know if Alexis killed Tom and if Julian is covering for her by kidnapping Franco.

I predict Dr. Finland will almost kill a patient while high on molly and Griffin will get in trouble when it's discovered he's been prescribing him drugs without doing thorough examinations.

And then Hayden's father Fake Bernie Madoff steals all of his money.

Oh, right. She could still call, though, as it's not like the PCPD is in a giant hurry to get to Franco.

why was she getting in Seth's face in the first place?

So we could see the basketball trophies and (dun, dun, DUN!) link him to the storage room.  Because he's the only one in Port Chuck who plays basketball well.

It makes a lot of sense for a ninety pound woman to follow a large, angry man to his home, go in and close the door.

I still think Heather is the murderer and Julian is the kidnapper.

Sam comforted KiKi when her dad died so she does know of her. They just don't share scenes that often which is good for me.

The best part about today is how bad Frank and Jelly got cussed out for this shit on Twitter. Sam fans showed no mercy. We asked for the easiest shit. Keep Sam away from Franco. What do they do. Have Sam run her pregnant ass over town to free her sexual assaulter from a storage unit instead of killing him. I mean last week it was too much for Sam to attend Maxie's wedding where all she would have to do is sit in a chair. Today she is using fire extinguishers to break Franco out of a storage room where a potential killer could be lurking. Just stupid all over the place.

  • Love 16

I guess I have to give Kelly Monaco some kind of credit. It takes a special gift to take a line as innocuous as "You haven't returned any of my calls or text messages" and still make Sam sound like the most pathetic, whiny limp dishrag in a town where the feminine competition is fierce. This character is just an energy-sucking void.

I forgot to say: Finn expects people to believe he played hockey?

Well...he didn't really say he played, just that he had an old hockey injury. I can see people believing he tried it out, was badly injured in the first two minutes, and then retreated to his bedroom to smoke pot and stare at a lizard.

Franco stumbling around in a storage locker with a head wound for a week (or two?) is even more boring than Sam scooting around and groaning in Liz's basement.

Addendum: I thought the Camille/Moulin Rouge thing was funny. Rebecca Budig does good "incredulous" takes. I totally was thinking the "old movie" was going to be Love Story, so I was between the two.

My notifications are loopy because they're telling me LeftPhalangeTeeVee329 quoted me. I loled!

I forgot to mention this: I thought I heard Franco say, "When we last left our hero," in his first scene, but I thought surely that didn't happened, so I turned on closed captioning and sure enough, he did indeed say that. I went into a rage blackout, of course. But the fact that before that line all the closed captioning said was "[incoherent speaking]" calmed me down.

I was going to say what has already been said about Sam calling the PCPD, but you all said it much better than I could. (Did I mention how much I love you all even when we may have different opinions? Why can't the world be more like this board?)

Back to Sam, yeah, she probably figures she has to do this Franco-freeing thing to help her drunk Mother (sorry NLG, you lost me at your Viola Davis tweet) but with all her perilous pregnancy problems, wtf is she doing trying to drag dead weight out of a storage locker when she has a phone to call someone other than Jason who isn't answering because he's in the hospital not letting his wife know? Is this the part where Sam goes into early labor and Franco saves her life and delivers her child so we can all say "Yay! Franco is a hero now!". And I'm saying this as a RoHo fan former fan.

I wish they'd stop with all the gray bullshit, like pick a side, if you're a villain then be a villain and suffer the consequences (I'm looking mostly at you Sonny) or be a white hat and stay that way. I get that people/characters are capable of change and it can be done but not with these writers, the writing is all over the place and it's getting to the point where I have no idea who I'm supposed to root for. The serial killer sans tumor? The alcoholic maybe-lawyer who made herself look guilty by being so evasive with Dante? Crazy-eyed Lulu who is freaking her daughter the fuck out? Valentin because he stuttered and has some thing connected to Anna? Jason because he face-planted at the Metrocourt? Julian because he- oh fuck it, the show has become nothing but a bad habit for me.

I hate everything on TFGH, I can feel my IQ dropping every time I try to figure out the why behind their decisions. Sometimes I picture whoever the hell is in charge spinning a carnival wheel for plot ideas which are rigged to land on their flavor of the week. See? My mind is mush from trying to make sense of this bad habit I can't shake due to loyalty to my once favorite show.

If only they'd do what OLTL did for Bree Williamson's: They sent Jessica upstairs for a nap, and she didn't come down for three months.

This should always be the solution. Have the character still in town and off camera.  Everyone can say I spoke to so and so, refer to what they're doing, etc.  It was crazy how they made up ever increasing crazy stories to explain TG's Dutch vacations.

God, that was maddening. The man went on vacation every year, the dates were likely written into his contract, and yet year after year, you'd think the writers had, like, two days notice. "Ohmigod, we're about to lose Geary for five months, this totally bones our awesome storylines, what do we do? Quick, mainline this Red Bull and vodka and think up some bullshit!"

KeMo has stated that she wants to work with RoHo and that is clearly all that matters on the show.   Who gives a flying fuck about character's history when IIC are working overtime to give actors their wishes and make Franco relevant.

Pffft.  KeMo wants to work with RoHo, so I say SamFF and JaSamFF can sit and spit.  BH wanted to work with RoHo and LizFF were served a pile of shit with the Friz pukefest.  FH wants to work with RoHo.  Sigh.

Actually, KeMo said she'd like to work more with RoHo and MS…but it wouldn't make sense with their characters.

Tonja Walker admitted she on her own created an entire backstory in her head for Olivia Jerome and her motivations for revenge. It's sad when the actors and actresses put in more work or understand more than the scriptwriters.

KeMo's desire to work with whomever doesn't have to be fulfilled though. We don't know that it is why she's in scenes with them. Even if tptb bow to her demands, the contexts of the scenes isn't on her, nor should fans of the character stfu and go along with them.

Her scenes with requested partner doesn't have to go one way. Example: Sam could've kicked Franco repeatedly in the stomach before setting the building on fire. There. KeMo and RiHo scene.

Slightly off-topic: Nicollette Sheridan, probably most famous for Paige Matheson on the '80s/early '90s soap Knots Landing, once told Entertainment Weekly that in her first season on the show, she had no freaking idea what kind of character she was supposed to be playing. She said the character of Paige was written "all over the place." So, she said, she sat down and wrote her own backstory for Paige, something that would make everything Paige said and did plausible. The interviewer asked her what she then would do if she were handed a script that conflicted with the self-created backstory, and she laughed and said, "You rewrite it!" (Not sure whether she meant her own backstory or the script she had been handed. I think the former.)

All of that shared just to say, it does happen on serial dramas. And Knots Landing was a vastly better-written show than present-day General Hospital.

Between Brad and Amy, my desire to see more hospital scenes is waning.   But in comparison to seeing a scene with Sonny, I would rather watch Dr. Finn.  As a daily watcher of the show, I am not embarrassed to admit that I had to google up the character's name because there are so few hospital-based scenes.

FV is doubling down on the mob stuff.  I guess if there needed to be some other stuff besides the hospital, I don't mind the whole WSB/Cassadine schtick but only as a replacement for the mob.   Any new hire (or rehire) should be placed as a worker at the hospital - not just the sub-par actors.  And the competent actors that have been placed at the hospital are the scum of the earth characters - psychotic serial killers and torturers (Hi Franco and Dr. Obrecht (another forgotten name - thanks google).  Paging  Dr. Larrs, and Dr. Matt.

I have to think everyone wants to work with RoHo on a personal level—I can't believe there's any sort of creative fulfillment to have your character trashed so that a SERIAL KILLER can be the town hero. The only one who's getting any decent time with him is BH, and Elizabeth is ruined, so creatively that's a bust, too. Of course, you work with RoHo and you're guaranteed airtime.

This Franco/Tom storyline has made everyone unbearable. Like the writers want us fans rooting for our favs to find Franco but we are left wondering why he should be rescued at all? Seriously, one rapist is dead and another is missing/presumed on the run/dead. This is a win/win in most of the audiences eyes. So, the urgency and emotional drive the writers were hoping this storyline would have is just not there for majority of the fans. If anything it just highlights how much we have all banded together in our hate for Franco.

Furthermore, if they ended this storyline with Franco dead or making it a run for it by leaving town, none of us would care. So, this whole rescue plan is just stupid and unemotional. I can't wait for it to end.

There's urgency and emotional drive for Sam to leave Franco to die or for Tom Baker to have gotten the best of him in the first place. Does that count even though I'm 99% sure that's not what the writers were going for?

People say they want to work with other actors all the time. That doesn't mean the story has to be complete horseshit. Everyone seemed to want to work with Tony and Maurice.

Strangely enough Sam could share scenes with Nina now that she is family cause she married Valentin. I am glad they don't though cause I had my fill of the Ginger Bitch after that Siam mess.

If they were actually listening to Kelly's wants, then she sure as fuck wouldn't be this zen wimp they got running around town saving would be rapists.

Many actors create their own backstories because they don't get a lot of background from the director/writers. It helps them create the character and motivation. When I was a theatre major in college, we did an 'actor's breakdown' for every single character we played. Basically it's 'who am I? from A-Z and includes your character's motivations for his/her actions.  No one spoon feeds an actor every facet of his/her character. They get a basic outline and then take it from there. I think the bigger problem these days is that too many actors  DON"T do this, instead relying on whatever information they're provided, so their portrayal isn't as believable.

The Ways Liz Annoyed Me Today: A List

1) Her asserting to Seth that Franco HAS CHANGED.  Guess what, Liz - even if you believe that to be true, that doesn't mean that everyone else in Port Charles has to agree with you, no matter how many times you repeat the same refrain.

2) Her attitude seeming to be that the photo album proves that Tom was still a predator, and thus, Franco harassing him, assaulting him, locking him in a dog cage, and torturing him with a SHOCK COLLAR is retroactively okay.  That's not how that works.

3) Her thinking the photo album was a clue and that one of the women within might have killed Tom.  So what, Liz was going to go harass other potential sexual assault victims to save her SERIAL KILLER boyfriend?  What the actual fuck!

But, of course, none of this matters because Tom and now Seth were the straw man villains to prop up Franco.  I wouldn't be surprised if we find out tomorrow that Seth is also a rapist, just to really hammer the point home.

HATE!

Nina's dress was so bright I can see it on my eyelids when I blink. Very appropriate outfit for drinking beer, eating mac and cheese, and listening to your husband talk about his fucked up family dynamics. Please don't tell me she's going to be jealous of Anna.

Diane was so incredulous during Alexis' confession, I loved it. She's used to getting actual murderers to walk free, she didn't know how handle Alexis confessing to murder simply because she was overwhelmed with guilt. How convenient for Alexis to have that memory come back immediately after confessing. "I killed Tom! No, no, wait, my bad. I didn't."

I wanted to vomit when Kiki and Franco exchanged I love yous.

What kind of stalker still keeps a physical scrapbook? It's 2017, my dude, time to go digital.

All of Franco's activity from point #2 seems to directly contradict point #1. Too bad Liz can't read this list.

Speaking of your point two, is Franco going to be charged with the crimes to Tom (Baker) he actually did commit? Kidnapping, false imprisonment, assault, torture...?

I wonder when the actor that played Seth found out he was going to be playing the heavy? He performances since Tom was kidnapped pointed a guy concerned by his brother, both for Tom's safety and what Tom was capable of doing, not being a potential violent criminal himself.

Sadly, Liz - who hates being called a liar - and Kiki are the only ones besides Franco who know and they haven't said anything to the police.  Jordan did have that cage taken for DNA testing, but we haven't heard about that since, I don't think.

I want Sam to go off on Franco AND Liz when she finds out that they were both completely willing to throw Alexis under the bus for Tom Baker's murder on the basis of...the word of a bartender and Alexis walking out of an AA meeting.
