Franco was lurking for days before he revealed himself, Nina was of course talked about for endless months, about how she loved to RUN and JUMP and DANCE in the fields with HORSES, etc etc. Budig is already at like stage 6 of her plan and it's, what, day 4? Anyone who wants to bang Jake is totally justified to barge into his maybe-wife's room and interrupt what could have been a touching (figuratively and literally) reunion. It's in the city charter. Plus, this is how Carly has rolled since owning the hotel. I swear, there should be a disclaimer warning people about her barging into their rooms. Maybe on a nice plaque at the front desk. I apologize because I'm one of the viewers who originally really wanted this. But man, it blows. Between the utter lack of all chemistry and the fact that Sam keeps droning on unromantically about Jason every time they have sex, I think this story would work better and could honestly play out about the same if Sam and Patrick were just friends. Heck, he could even ask her to move in so that they could support each other as single parents. Or maybe they could be deciding very slowly to try to date because they're both single parents, and friends, and then the lack of chemistry could be written into the storyline. Carly and Liz barging into Hayden's hotel room was so annoying. What a bunch of assholes. The Maxie/Spinelli scenes were awful, but I thought KS was really good in them. I think it's only something they're holding in reserve, not an active plan of action. It was the same way with the Todds. They waited for at least two or three years to do the similar story at OLTL, through at least two separate sets of negotiations with the original actor spaced out over long periods, but it was not an ongoing storyline during that time. Until they finally secured him they continued operating and writing as though the new actor was just the recast of the original role, and probably would have kept him that way if they hadn't gotten Roger Howarth back. I think any fan claiming there is currently an active storyboard on the books to show Billy Miller to not be the real Jason is just an angry original recipe Jason fan who doesn't like the temporary story with Elizabeth and wants it all undone. But the fact is they can't de-Jason anyone without Steve Burton, and won't. Steve is currently under contract at Y&R and probably will be until JFP is fired or he chooses to leave, neither of which I see happening any time soon. Even if Chuck Pratt completely supplants her as EP there, as has been rumored, Pratt and Steve have a history too, and Pratt is currently having no problem pairing Burton in a central romance with leading lady Sharon Case. Unless their entire show caves in I don't think Steve Burton is going anywhere. So any Twin Jasons can't happen for at least another year or two, IMO, at minimum. I dreaded Samtrick, but since I've seen them together, I think they generate a lot of heat. I don't like their storyline. I think that "Jake" ultimately being revealed as someone other than Jasus has nothing to do with SBu and everything to do with whether or not BM decides to leave. It would be really easy to explain all this Jason crap away as Helena/Victor implanted fake memories to fuck with Jason's friends and family because of course for reasons. If Billy does decide to exercise an out, they'll reveal "Jake" is Lucky or AJ or some Cassadine soldier and he'll leave town to 'find himself'. And the mystery of what happened to the real Jason will remain a mystery. Did he actually die in the harbor? Or was that actually him in the car with Robin, and if so where is he? 3 Link to comment

He generates no heat with whatever it is that Ron and Frank are having him do. The show took a decidedly wrong turn with the GreenHaydenLee story. Billy Miller seems like a nice guy but I havent really seen any real personality in six months. The whole episode would have been saved for me if Jake had looked at the pictures and said "man, I gained a lot of weight since we got married. What the hell have you been feeding me, girl?" I've don't think JT tanks scenes, either. I don't think KeMo can "act" sexy. Or, rather her acting sexy is just kind of standing close or lying close to someone and saying her lines while she waits for her pheromones to do their work. These are the days when I cant help but love the character, not because I sympathize with her,but because she is so damn entertaining. She is such a hot mess of self absorption and entitlement and instrusivness. She made Liz look like the sane, sensible one, which based on the last few days, is saying plenty. I hope Carly finds out that Ric is behind all this and finally goes ballistic on his ass. Should be entertaining, especially if it ends in hate sex. Ric would make a good porno director. On a purely shallow note, RH did look especially good today. Don't know if it was the suit, or the hair, but he looked younger than he has looked lately. Makes her look like she's trying too hard. Pretty convenient that Hayden was staying at the MC where Jake's #1 groupie can barge in unannounced with his #1 stalker. I'm with Bawoman though, I thought Carly was entertaining as well. She was having absolutely none of Hayden being Jake's wife. And her "why haven't you thanked me?" was hilarious. I thought Haley looked beautiful, but I didn't pay much attention to what she was wearing. They've made it a point to say that she's going off to college soon, so I'm wondering if she'll be around much. Yeah, she could go to PCU, but I don't get the feeling that TR is sticking around either. I really miss Lexi. I fell asleep during the Spixie talk. What the hell was Frank tweeting about that this was a must see episode that should be watched live? Um, maybe if you have insomnia. Literally nothing happened. He got his assumption that they would now be a family shoved where the sun don't shine. I thought the scene was great and well acted by KS and felt more real than any of the contrived angst between her and Nathan for the past year. Patrick is as horrid as he thinks he's hot, Julian is not as hot as he thinks, Alexis does NOT look good in her sexaaaaaaay giggle phase, Molly has still NOT become that organ donor I just KNOW she'd excell at, Rick has reached his sell-by date. Oh, and I saw Maxie apparently having a conversation with a walking jello puddin' pop and THEN I saw it was Spinelli. He always makes me wish FireStarter would drop by Port Charles, if only for a day. And - my thanks to the poster who compared Luke to Elaine Stritch - we had Luuuuuuuuuke leering at and threatening his niece - and for some strange reason, using some sort of "southern"?? accent?? All I know is that while I'm sure Geary thinks he's appearing threatening and oh-so-scary, he actually reminds me of There's Uncle Joe, he's a moving kinda slow, at the Junction. PETTICOAT JUNCTION!!
