I love this because it isn't carefully crafted and I can so see Jimmy saying all of it.

I don't think they've filmed the reunion yet, have they?  If shit is so bad that Jimmy is getting involved, when he's made it pretty clear he wants no part of the HW BS, I have a feeling the reunion is going to be crazy.  Except Megan will probably just be kind of even keel and logical and bring receipts, it doesn't seem like she ever gets super nasty.

Are you kidding me?

Jimmy is the reason why Megan is on the show. He was supposed to be on with his previous wife. Lol.

As far as Megan being the jump-off, wth cares?

He has been married a hundred times already, he is an athlete with a suspect reputation. If anything, I feel sorry for Megan. He sucks.

If Andy didnt sweat Jimmy, I bet this wouldve been used as ammo against Megan by now. It is strange she's cool with taking second dibs on the role. Very Slade-adjacent maneuvering. Even stranger, she essentially moved to OC alone to begin filming the show months after they were married.

As for Jimmy, I bet through being friends with Heather and Terry/Andy begging, he was into it but majorly underestimated the time commitment.

I saw Meghan at the St.  Louis Bread Company /called Panera everywhere else/ today.

I'm told she and her husband have been here before. She was with her daughter who is beautiful in person.  Her hair was very blond and her skin sketchier than it looks on TV. Very thin, but she looked healthy.

I looked up and thought she looked alot like,  well herself,  and then she talked and I knew it was her. She used Jim's rewards card,  so everyone else was whispering about Edmunds and I was squeeing about my first housewife siteing in the wild.

Someone who was explaining Jim's career to me was was like,  she is ALOT younger than Jim is.  And I told them I could educate them on that because of my Real Housewive's knowledge. LOL.

I don't follow baseball really, so is Jim a big deal even outside of MO?

I have no idea.  I'm here in MO.  But apparently he was an All Star and was great in the center field because he could run so fast and move closer to the bases,  catching balls other players couldn't and sprinting to the outfield when needed.  Plus he was a good when he came up to bat.

He's well known in the world of professional athletes.  Jim is from California and played for the Padres and Angels, so he's also a well known name in those cities.  In addition to what Shawna mentioned, Jim also has eight gold gloves, and a world series ring.  He was a big name in baseball in his prime, and remains familiar to baseball fans through his sportscasting career.  He's actually very generous in his praise of opposing teams, as well as self-deprecating of his own considerable success in his playing days.  A lot of non-Cardinal baseball fans dislike him and like to call him a showboat, but that's what's often said about players who consistently make exceptional plays, and beat your team.  I had a good friend who was a Cubs fan and just hated him.  Of course that was back in the day of the perennial loser Cubbies - you know, prior to two years ago.

Even though I don’t like Megan, I appreciate that she is an educated, bright person who has social graces.  I’m glad she called Peggy on the cancer card, because that’s exactly what she was doing.

If you say so! I see her as a juvenile, silly, and vindictive "mean girl!" She can't help but pass on everything she sees and hears, and at the same time kvetch "I'm not a $#!t-Starter!" That's exactly what she is and no one can change my mind about it! She's not super nasty and vile, but she's no fk'n saint either! ;-)

Peggy is twice Meghan's age, has had several kids who are college-bound, and has gone through a "double mastectomy!" What else you got in comparison to a petulant child herself who just gave birth to her 1st? I'll take the classy, older, eccentric show-boater who's not a vindictive b!tch so self-entitled she breaks down in tears with the least little bit of disappointment! Everything's drama with Megan and Shannon! It has to be about them to be satisfied; the girl in the center seat! Vicki isn't missing anything with them out of her life! One moment they're interrogating or chewing your head off for some small slight, then the next "all concerned" asking sympathetic questions! I would tell them to "go fish! If you weren't concerned 5 minutes ago, why switch it around now? Go give your fk'n concern to someone else!" ;-)

Peggy is 72?  I guessed 55.

Whoa!  What the hell happened on this forum?  How the heck did it get so nasty?  No way is Meghan jealous of Peggy.   She's young, beautiful, rich, etc... She came on the show a tad immature, but she seems to have come into her own.

The only way Meghan leaves is if she doesn't want to do the show anymore....which would make sense.  Meghan's in a totally different place in her life than the other ladies.  Otherwise, she's going nowhere.  Andy loves having the Cardinals connection and was very recently pictured with Jim & Meghan.

I don't think that Meghan is miserable at all. She adores that baby and as for her husband being gone all the time, given the nature of his job, he'd be away regardless of where they live.  The times we did see them together the past two seasons, they appeared to have a good relationship.

Trolls get a bad rap.

I'm not used to trolls on this site, but this one seems to really like to call Meghan a bitch....which is odd because she played a very minor role this season.  And I find it very strange for anyone to passionately defend Peggy...unless they're related to Peggy.

some people just like different kinds of bitchy I guess.  I think every last one of them are bitches, with Megan being the smartest and least indebted to having make an ass of herself for a buck.  Megan could go right back into sales and make bank easily.  Tamra, Kelly, and Vicki are basically unemployable.  And I wouldn’t pay Lydia 2 Shekels to be an exterminator apprentice or pool cleaner.

Consider the source of the one calling Meghan a bitch.

In case you missed Meghan's recent ghost update.

Scroll down to a series of videos where she appears to be under water.

Very interesting - this is the suggestion that came to my mind; glad Dianne mentioned it:

It could also be your spirit baby. Babies soul become fully in there fetal body around 7monthsish so you could be experiencing your babies soul in spirit form still

(It’s what came to mind but I’ve had experiences with ghosts and they were people who had recently passed.)

That's what I thought but when Megan stated that she didn't think that it was her baby I backed off of the thought. It would also be an explanation for why Aspen waves to it and seems to know who it is. I've heard of many strange things that children know about or see as small babes before society/family/education try to "teach" them how to think. I've sometimes asked kids weird questions and gotten plausible answers that others might dismiss.

What little children know is such interesting territory - the only book I ever stayed up all night to read was one by a guy named Ian Stevenson about children who remember past lives - totally fascinating! As you say, it’s so important to listen to kids and not stop them from telling what they’ve seen - and lived.

@nexxie I have asked kids and a lot of them do recall a past life. It makes me wonder. Their answers are too clear and their knowledge it too spot on for them not to know what they are talking about. Here's one:

My niece was talking to her (then) 3 year old and he plainly told her to get her more popcorn, as he was her Papa ___. I think she thought he had enough not to mention he was eating it out of a motorcycle helmet as he couldn't reach a bowl. She said "yeah right, prove it." My great nephew then began to tell her about one of his inventions. There is no way on earth that toddler could have known that technical information and it's not something that is discussed much by our family as he has done other and greater things (gosh I'm missing my father as I write this now). This child has grown up and gone very far in life at an early age. An outstanding citizen, family member and loving husband and (hopefully soon) father to be. I firmly believe that he is my Dads reincarnation.

I had no clue that Ian Stevenson is a MD.

I was ready for her to leave, but I think it’d be very entertaining to watch her and her nannies wrangle the twins and baby Aspen ?. I’d also like to see more involvement from her husband. Heck, if they made a spin-off I would watch it, lol.

OMG!  I love that idea!  It would absolutely drive Vicki nuts if Meghan got a spin-off.

I'm happy for Meghan and Jimmy.  I know how much Meghan wanted a boy for Jimmy and now they will have two!
