Same here; I like that the timeline of Mayhem's "resolutions are made to be broken" coincides with so many resolutions that wind up broken.  Sure, there are those that last longer (and those that stick), but I think - as someone who doesn't make New Year's resolutions or do anything else superstitious, but who listens to others - he's comporting with the average, and I'm glad of it.  The "I'll be good" commercials were okay, but were just placeholders to me before we got back to mayhem scenarios, which are truly funny.

This is a magazine ad, but it made me laugh.  Ikea is running an ad in a major Swedish women's magazine which encourages women to pee on the ad.  The ad has a pregnancy test built into it, and if it turns out positive, the women can take the ad to Ikea to get a discount on a crib.

The DirecTV ad with the lady pouring coffee on herself and laughing is my favorite.

Even though I disagree with the point of the ad, which is that DirecTV has such great service vs cable.  DirecTV service sucks.  The only reason I still have it is because of NFL SUnday Ticket

I crack up when I see where the guy's pop explodes over him and the inside of his car;  the guy on the plane with that horrid kid kicking the back of his chair;  the lady who sat in the gum.  Oh, and the guy in line at the grocery store and the lady behind him ramming her cart into him.  Gawd, I love slapstick.

The best thing about Superbowl Sunday is the Clydesdale commercial.

I could look at Clydesdales all day long.  I just saw a video with Shire Horses, I think they are a variant of Clydesdales.  The female was dying of colic, and the male rushed to her side (10 years together) and he kept biting her neck and tugging on her mane until she got up.  They were minutes away from putting her down!  I cried like a baby, he saved her!  Beatrice and Beau.

My favorite commercial right now is the Campbell Soup with the Muslim and Latino boys who don't understand each other bonding over the Star Wars soups.  It's so refreshing in these xenophobic times.

Yes, it's a movie tie in.  No, I don't care.

I actually severely dislike that one.  I love the concept, but the execution gets me.  "Wook-kee!  AWWWWWWWWW! (or whatever annoying noise that was" followed by the Chewbacca noise, and more of that "AWWW" noise.  Maybe it's because I'm sensitive to some noises, or maybe it reminds me of the Dumb and Dumber "Most annoying noise" bit (loved that movie).

I can't stand those Dilly Dilly commercials.  Or the fact that is becoming some kind of catch phrase

And I am not seven sure why I don't like it.  Part of it is the fact the beer is crappy.  But it also just doesn't strike me as that funny or original as most seem to find it.

But then I am the rare male who always hated that "And Twins...." Coors light commercial as well from 15 years ago or so.  The song was SO BAD, yet it caught on and was everywhere.

I hate the Dilly Dilly ads too.  I think it's because all of the Eagles fans around here have picked up on it, and are beating it to death with a stick.  Ditto on the "And Twins" ad.

I've heard the same from fire fighters - they say the flashing lights "hypnotize" people, for lack of a better word, and cause them to run into the truck.

It's true for me.  Some kids were killed in a car accident near my house.  They were driving way too fast, and slid off the road and in to some woods.  No seat belt.  Ejected from the car and were killed.  An elaborate memorial was built in the woods with a bunch of solar light things.  Some flash.  It drew me in - I felt myself pulling.  Enough people complained that they removed the lights.

I know taxes aren't fun, but this commercial sure is.  'Tiny knitted Teddy bears.'  Funny!

I love that tiny bear.  My husband said "Tiny bear can come over and dance any time."

I don't even like the movie (though the Princess Bride book was terrific), but this ad is great.  They've come a long way from "Heyyyy Culligan Man!!"

I didn't like the movie either (I find I'm in a minority, but the whole fantasy genre never appealed to me).  My uncle was a Culligan Man for many years, and I kind of miss the "Heyyyy Culligan Man!" thing.  That ad doesn't run in my area - I hadn't seen it.

I love the new Geico one with Washington crossing the Delaware...Turnpike.

Washington getting all salty with “we all have somewhere to go!” and “big guy with a horn” crack me up.

I love that commercial, even though absolutely no one calls the stretch of I-95 between the Maryland state line and Newport the Delaware Turnpike.  And that road is far more lanes wide than the one used in the commercial.  Nits, I know, but I live ten minutes from that part of 95.

@mojoween and @Popples  IN 2016 my D and I went to NYC and waited in the cancellation line for Hamilton tickets.  While we were there, Daveed Diggs was walking past.  He was super nice and he let me take a picture of him with my D (it was her birthday).  We were lucky enough to get tickets to the show and were sitting in the front row.  One of the songs he sang as Jefferson required him to blow a kiss- which he did- right at us- he even winked.  My D was over the moon.  After the show, we did the stage door and D got her Hamiltome book signed by Daveed, Lyn, Chris Jackson, and others.    We have tickets to go see Hamilton again in DC this July.  Can't wait.

The best thing about Superbowl Sunday is the Clydesdale commercial.

While there won't be a full Clydesdale Superbowl ad this year - just a teaser to get you to Budweiser's Facebook live feed of the steeds - Bud has a few Clydesdale extras for you to play with once you're there!

http://www.adweek.com/brand-marketing/how-the-budweiser-clydesdales-will-make-an-appearance-during-the-super-bowl/

From the article:

"In addition to the brief spot and the Facebook live feed, Budweiser created an AR Snapchat lens that will allow users to play with the Clydesdales on Super Bowl Sunday. Users will be able to get the horses to not only appear in 3-D, but also to jump over cases of Bud and kick footballs."

Here in Patriot Land, Dilly Dilly has become "Billy Billy" in honor of our esteemed coach, Mr. Belichick!

Go Pats!

The ad for some medicine (diabetes medicine I think), and a dad picks up his daughter at school, and they go to a shop and she has a cupcake and he has something else. I love this commercial because the little girl isn't a horrible brat. She's a well behaved child.  So refreshing.

I saw that one today for the first time.  It is the ONLY medicine ad I haven't muted in a long time.  Very sweet ad!

I thought InBev was Dutch. No, it's a hybrid Brazilian-Belgian company.

From Wikipedia:
"InBev is a brewing company that resulted from the merger between Belgium-based company Interbrew and Brazilian brewer AmBev which took place in 2004. It existed independently until the acquisition of Anheuser-Busch in 2008, that formed Anheuser-Busch InBev (abbreviated AB InBev)."

No matter, they damn well better leave the Clydesdales right where they are.

LOVE this one!

I've not seen this one before. When it started, I thought for sure we were gonna get a medley of clips of her & her Daddy as she grows up, with him escorting her in the rain at an outdoor wedding at the end. This one is SO simple and joyful, it's perfect. If only Citi weren't such bastards.

I’ve seen the “manatees...in novelty tees” ad a bunch of times but I JUST noticed that at the end a smaller one floats into the picture with a shirt on that says “Let’s Cuddle” and now I love it more than I did before.

GEICO is so hit or miss with their “Surprising” ad campaign but the last few have been pretty funny.

I don't know why but I like that Purple Mattress commercial starring Goldilocks who uses 300 pound of glass dropped  to see if mattresses can protect raw eggs from breakage! She has just the right 'tude and humor needed to demonstrate the product's attributes (and I hope to see  that performer in other things). Still, I'm satisfied with my own mattress and not ready to dump $1000 on a new one!
