Popular Post cooksdelight April 23, 2015 Popular Post Share April 23, 2015 This was just ugly. A very ugly, uncomfortable show to watch. I cannot say I like any of these people. Wake me when it's over. Worst tribal council ever. Hateful. Awful. I just can't understand what makes people be so mean. Or act so crazy. If this is why Probst thinks it's the best season ever, the table-turning episode... he's no better than they are. I understand what Mike was trying to do by outing the secret alliance, but his timing sucked. None of these people are nice. At all. The entire time Jeff was yelling during the IC I wanted to tell him, "Jeff....shut up because there is much more going on here than you realize and you are sounding like a buffoon." Will would have done better to play a "OMG, you hurt my feelings...I shared my food with you....here's the empty box....now I'm gonna cry".... instead of verbally beating the shit out of Shirin. Did that make you feel like a big ol' badass man, Will? Did you see Dan eat that hair on his chopsticks? He was trying to shake it off then he just put it in his mouth. ACK!!!!! Rodney can go suck a rotten egg up his nose and die for all I care. 50 Link to comment

Popular Post truthaboutluv April 23, 2015 Popular Post Share April 23, 2015 (edited) Wow the stupidity, it burns this season!!! Sierra and Dan are complete and utter dumb fucks. Dan has been with Mike since Day 1, has always had reason to trust Mike and yet he's completely ignoring Mike saying to him that he overheard Rodney and company scheming against him. Like why would Mike just make that up? So if Mike is telling the truth that means that if he didn't win Immunity, Rodney and company would have no issues flipping on the "six strong" and yet he and Sierra stupidly goes along with them. I mean what exactly is their plan? Do they really think when they get rid of Shirin next week that they can turn things around at that point when it will be that four against the two of them and Mike who likely will be eliminated? That said, Mike completely blew up his game when he was in the driver's seat. After weeks of playing very cool and smart, he let emotion and paranoia take over and made some very, very dumb choices. Trying to not buy the love letter after they all agreed was just stupid because it was likely the exact moment that convinced Dan he couldn't trust him anymore. If he'd just bought the letter, he would have drawn for the advantage like he ended up doing anyway, and still have Dan's loyalty and likely been better able to convince him and Sierra about Rodney scheming against them. And then the whole blowing up and confronting Rodney and company was INCREDIBLY stupid. Why - that's the kind of shit you don't let on that you know and just quietly scheme to turn things on them without them even knowing you're coming. All Mike had to do was go to Sierra and Dan right after he heard the conversation, tell them what he heard and convince them then that they needed to make a move before they got blindsided. And then go to the auction, strategize with Dan and Sierra for the advantage and then after the immunity challenge, talk to them and quietly go to Jenn and Shirin and set up Rodney's blindside. Done and done... But he just played this really badly and put himself in a deep, deep hole. But honestly, I don't think I can continue watching this season if those bunch of assholes make it to the end and win this thing. For all the Jenn is such a mean girl talk that's been on the boards for weeks, I never saw ANYTHING as ugly from Jenn as what I saw tonight from Will. Seriously, as a woman, oh hell a human being, FUCK YOU Will. There was NO need for that whatsoever. And Carolyn, Tyler, Sierra all sitting around saying nothing like a bunch of tools are just as bad. I expect nothing more from Rodney so that's not even worth commenting on. And it's especially interesting with Sierra who boo-hooed about how much she hated her tribe when she was attacked after Lindsey got voted out and then Mike was also the one who stood up for her. But man these people are just awful, awful people. Jenn's probably glad to head off and drink as much as possible with Joe and Hali. Shereen- petty much? The asshole deserved it. If he can mock her supposedly having no family and attack her about how no one loves her and she means nothing to anyone, why should she give a shit about him getting his loved one letter. They voted for Carolyn, didn't they? Yes they did. I think Sierra or Dan went against the 3-3 vote and it made it 4 votes for Jenn and two for Shirin which is why Jenn got voted out. Popular Post enlightenedbum April 23, 2015 Popular Post Share April 23, 2015 (edited) First of all, these people are terrible. This is the worst cast ever, by a large margin. Second of all, these people are just monumentally stupid. Mike was leading the charge, but so much stupid bullshit. Plotting in the open with four people where you can be overheard. Going to not get your letter and then changing your mind, thus getting the worst of both situations. Sierra and Dan trading top three for fifth and sixth. Not bringing the fucking chest back. Questioning that. Also the producers are dumb because nine is a stupid time to introduce an extra vote. You want that to potentially pay off immediately, which it really only would at an even number. I don't actually think it's an awful twist, just the timing is bad. People Who Are Cool (Blank, obviously) People Who Are Mediocre (blank, Shirin and Mike in the waiting lounge) People Who Are Not Actively Hateful 1. Mike - Barely ahead, I guess? 2. Shirin - Would have moved to mediocre and maybe even cool if she had been like "you're an asshole but I'm going to be a bigger human being" to Will. Understand why she did what she did. Also would have been cool if she just owned up to why she did it. Because Will fucking sucks. People Who Suck (blank) Fuck You 3. Sierra 4. Carolyn 5. Tyler No seriously, just fuck you guys. You're awful, you suck, I hate you all. Way to stand by and watch an abuse victim be abused. Assholes. People I Would Rather Watch More Russell Hantz Than See Continue In This Game 6. Rodney - Somehow Rodney is more likable than two people. RODNEY. 7. Dan - And last week I said it couldn't be done. 8. Will - I hate this cast so much you guys. I Guess the Frontrunner 1. Tyler Other Assholes 2. Rodney? 3. Carolyn? 4. Will? Idiots/Cannon Fodder 5. Sierra 6. Dan Toast, Barring Immunity Run 7. Mike Still Doomed 8. Shirin What a fucking disaster this cast is. I still don't like Dan, but he managed to sound like someone with a brain tonight - both with his comment that being the swing vote was his personal nightmare (most people over-estimate their power in that position), and at tribal when he talked about the importance not only of getting to the end, but of how you do it and who you send to the jury. I laughed out loud when Will suggested sitting out the immunity challenge as payment for possibly getting his letter. How the hell does he expect to win this game? Nobody in Sharegate came across well. At all. Don't buy Rodney's crap for a second about how Mike almost "cost" everyone's chance to have that special moment. First of all, you're out there for like a month. Less, for most of them. After you're out, you can read all the letters you want. Quit being such crybabies. Second of all, let me explain how auctions work. If you choose not to buy steak dinners or pictures from home, you have more money to buy game advantages with than if you do choose to buy those things. Anyone who is happy to just draw lots for it obviously doesn't want it as much as somebody who wants to save their money for it. There is nobody I (usually) like in this thing any more except for Mike and Shireen. But even if he wins next week and gives his HII to Shirin, that's only one asshole that they can remove. The week after that, one of them will be gone anyway, and then the other. Don't think I can watch all the way through just for those other people. 8 Link to comment

She could have done that whole "be the bigger person" thing, but then Will would get exactly what he wanted. When mean people get what they want they have no incentive to adjust their behaviour. There is too much of that in our society. Glad to see he got some comeuppance. I liked Mike's $20 move, right up until he caved. Anyone who was upset at him was being greedy, but of course, these people don't realize as much. They just assume everyone else is being an ass when they don't get their way. This is a game, and if you want to try to game the game by bidding $20 for something and demanding everyone else does the same then you expose yourself to someone who behaves more logically than you do. 28 Link to comment

Ms Blue Jay April 23, 2015 Share April 23, 2015 (edited) Shirin, Mike, and Jenn outright spread rumours of Will stealing, lying, hiding things based on zero evidence. They jumped to this conclusion based on nothing and held firm to it. Why is that just completely forgotten here? Shirin did play the victim, yet Will was the victim of their shit in the first place. Will purposely made a decision to NOT act like a victim. He wanted to fight back. What Will said was mean, but he was angry. I don't blame him for angry feelings. I thought a lot of the episode was entertaining, until Shirin made everything about her. I'm sorry but in no way does Shirin's domestic abuse justify lying about Will. Not seeing the connection there. Never saw her once apologize or even try to. I really, really hate those people who attack someone and then when they're called out on it, cry and make everyone pity them. I've seen that act before. And yet so many people can't seem to see through it. I don't see how Shirin, Jenn, or Mike are good people at all. No thank you. How is what they did not "mean" yet Will somehow is? Does everyone forget how this all started? At least Rodney gave Will the benefit of the doubt and didn't believe any of it at all. It didn't seem like Sierra believed it either. And, Shirin was petty and childish. But I guess it's okay, because she cries when she's confronted. If you'd never seen an episode of this show before, Dan didn't come out too badly. Popular Post Mreid April 23, 2015 Popular Post Share April 23, 2015 Wow I don't even know where to begin. Let me just say I did not like this episode at all. First of all, my man Mike what in the world were you thinking tonight??? Mike agreed to pay the $20 so that everyone could get the loved letters and then backed out at the last minute. I am all for big moves but that was just wrong. But after the commercial break Mike apologized to everyone and said he couldn't do that because that goes beyond who he is as a person so fine, I forgave him for that. So then Mike Carolyn and Dan draw rocks for the advantage and of all people I did not want to get the advantage Dan got it. Sigh it figures now he gets an extra vote at tribal council. Meanwhile back at the camp Mike has a meltdown by outing the 4 person alliance of Tyler, Mama C, Rodney, and Will. Sigh second mistake that Mike made tonight again I ask Mike what are you thinking bro??? Your putting another big target on your back ugh. But despite Mike's two big mistakes, and as much as I don't like Rodney, and as much as I did not want Dan to win that advantage, I officially dislike Will the most out of everyone that is left. Now sure don't get me wrong it was a very nice gesture of Will to share his peanuts, cashews or whatever those things were, it was nice of him to share them with the tribe. But how dare Will attack Shirin like that, telling her that she has nothing no family , no one in America likes her, all because his integrity was questioned??? Not to mention it really was Mike who speculated that Will was hiding something from them in the first place I think Shirin just went along and agreed with Mike. But no big old bully Will attacks Shirin. As a young african american male I was horrified at what I saw and Will's ghetto, toxic, evil actions against Shirin is exactly why us African Americans have a negative perception about us from some people. I have no respect for Will at all and really hope he is gone next. I would never say something so cruel to someone like that. So you know what I am glad that Shrin raised her hand at the immunity challenge by not letting Will get what he wanted, I would have done the same thing if someone personally attacked me like that. Tribal council was very ugly and Jenn getting voted out was a disappointing ending for all the drama this episode had. I really wanted Mike to win but its not looking so good for him anymore, he still has that idol and if he plays it that will buy him another week this season but now because Sierra and Dan have flipped I feel like Mike is now in danger just like Joe was, Mike is gonna have to keep winning immunity challenges in order to get to the end, unless Tyler really does convince the others to turn on Dan like next weeks previews showed. I dont know this episode was really rough and I didnt like it at all. I will post the Ponderosa video of Jenn tomorrow morning when I wake up. 26 Link to comment

If it wasn't voluntary to tune in, I think they owe each of us a million dollars for putting up with this crap cast this season. Best ever? I can't even believe the cast themselves would hype this shit up to the extent they have. It's embarrassing all around. 10 Link to comment
Popular Post enlightenedbum April 23, 2015 Popular Post Share April 23, 2015 I totally get that, and it's why I said a small part of me felt sorry for Will. However, I thought he crossed a line, and it's also because I don't care about these people at this point. Plus, he went off on Shirin over the other two. I understand what you're saying, though. The 3 of them deserved something, but not to the extent Will gave it, and not just Shirin. I can understand Will's perspective, given all the circumstances from the auction until that point, on top of being there for 24(?) days. I don't think Shirin expected that. "Hey assholes, here's the fucking box, where would there be more food?" would have been an appropriate response. "You are a friendless, familyless, soulless, worthless human being who no one on the planet cares about" is not. 87 Link to comment
Popular Post ElleryAnne April 23, 2015 Popular Post Share April 23, 2015 I like that Shirin did not let Will get his letter. Normally I'd say that it was bad gameplay to vote against someone getting the letter - especially after that someone donated his super-secret-surprise stash of dried fruit or whatever it was in those jars - but in this case, I'm glad. Shirin was going to be targeted whether or not she let Will get his letter, but Will was reprehensible to her with that verbal assault. That said, I did find this exchange (paraphrased) at tribal to be kind of funny: Shirin: You attacked me personally. Will: No, I didn't. Shirin: You said I had no family and that more people liked you than me. Will: But that's true. Shirin: And you said I have no soul, and that you had to pray for me. Will: That's also true. Will has a different sense of what constitutes a personal attack than I do. I'm rooting for Mike or Shirin to win, but in any other season I'd be rooting for them to go home. That's a sad testament to the quality of the rest of the cast this season. 31 Link to comment
