The comments on LisaR's weight are not new.  She took a lot of heat during DWTS because she got even thinner.  They had an interview on set with Harry saying the woman always has been low body fat and the additional workout of the dance practice just pushed her from thin to eat a burger.  He said everyone should relax etc.  Very cute about it.

I am both excited for and dreading the reunion.  Honestly, when I see Brandi and Kim's smug looks it just grosses me out...and I can tell from this short clip, that the reunion is going to be full of them.    Further, as one of five sisters, it drives me crazy to see how Kim treats her sister.  I have always thought sweet/kooky Kim was a total act.  She is a nasty human being drunk or sober.  Completely incapable of accepting responsibility for her actions.  I consider two of my sisters best friends, as we talk frequently and have a lot in common,  and I have a perfectly nice relationship with the other two sisters.  No way would I, treat any of them in the manner that Kim treats Kyle.  Kyle does not owe her sister anything.  If Kim has a grievance with her childhood...go to therapy and bitch about your mother.  Last night it was clear as day that Kyle may stand up for herself, but Kim still can manipulate the hell out of that chick.  Kyle needs to just leave Kim be.  Kyle's not perfect, but when she has her outbursts, they don't seem calculated. Kim knows exactly what she's gonna say and she goes for the jugular.  Run Kyle Run!  Brandi's comment that Lisa wanted to sleep with Max's friend....Jesus just get her off this show.  Send her to the OC with Tamara.

Something is really wrong with the world when I think Kim and Kyle look the best dressed, well, at least for their size/coloring.  They win.  Kim looks good in pink, Kyle in red, and both, for ONCE, didn't break up the line on their short bodies.  Well done.

 

I don't like Yo in off white, it washes her out.  She's much better in spring colors and bright white.  Lipsa's is ALMOST OK, but again, nothing that thrills me, I like the neckline, but not the hemline or sleeves.  Lisa's is OMG what?  Eileen's is another blah that does nothing for her, not the color, or the cut, which makes her adorable figure look saggy and old.  Brandi's is all kinds of wrong, and I bet she chose it in a defiant mood.  Flesh colored too.

OK so as much as I want both Kim and Brandi gone, I am not bothered by the idea that they may be back. Considering the slash and burn job the two of them have done to their relationships with the other women as well as their reputations, who is going to film with them besides staged events? Neither have anything on their own to share. I think by now all of the women have figured out not to engage them. So what will be left for them? Them making outrageous statements and everyone staring at them in awkward silence? Kyle might take the bait, but I am pretty sure that if any of the other women are around, they will do their best to calm her down and help her walk away as well. If the other women simply freeze them out, let them come back. They will whine and complain about how unfair it all is, but what else can do? What, is Kim going to bring Cujo - I mean Kingsly to Lisa V's house to eat her other dogs? Is Brandi going to flash her tampon string? They have nothing. Them doing another season of this show would just prove that to them beyond a reasonable doubt if the other women simply refuse to engage when they have to film with them and then avoid them when they don't.

 

Don't get me wrong, i want them gone. But if the alternative is that they are there and none of the others interact with them, I would be fine with that too.And it will only be to their detriment, because it seems obvious to me that the producers are done coddling them and hiding Kim's addiction issues. So let them hang themselves. I won't enjoy watching that, but if the women simply ignore them, there won't be any there there.

Andy likes Brandi. He just does. He said on Twitter that he thinks that Brandi is trying to defend her friend. Kyle tweeted back that they would have to agree to disagree. It is rare for Andy to weigh in on something like this in the middle of the season.

I think the idea that Brandi won't be back is laughable. Unless she is pissing off production like Jill Zarin did, or the ratings slip, she will be back. The ratings right now are great, and I am not convinced she won't/can't have a friendship with someone in the existing cast, mainly Lisar. They actually really connected during their lunch and I get the impression that Lisar is the forgiving type. I am also going on record right now in saying that I don't think things will or even are all that rosy between Lisar and Kyle right now. I have believed from the beginning that Kyle would have preferred for Lisar to not make such a big deal out of Kim's sobriety. Kyle had no problem talking about Kim in relation to her concerning relationship with Brandi, but I don't think she liked being put in the position - on camera - of having to listen to sobriety talk. Kyle knows she will never win when this topic comes up. I also think the fact that Lisar failed initially to back Kyle up on the Brandi conversation is something Kyle might forgive, but to a certain degree I think it will change their relationship at least in the short term. They will still be on the same side, but I just think there is a fracture there.

I don't know about Brandi or Kim being asked back.  I hope not.  But it was interesting on WWHL, when Adrienne, Camille and Taylor were asked if they would come back, no one said no.  Ok, hardly anyone wants to see Taylor but I would gladly welcome Adrienne and Camille over Brandi and Kim.  I think there would be enough drama (see season one) and more fashion and house porn.  Plenty to snark on.  I do hope Eileen comes back.  I'm sure Rinna will. Yolanda maybe not.  Kyle and Lisa will be back for sure.

None of them look great but LisaV looks ridiculous. Her dress is awful...too matronly and she has to stop parting her hair in the middle.

And I'm starting to believe that LisaR does wear a wig but the style looks good on her...even if she's had it for 20 years.

Sigh. I sadly agree. Moreover, I wouldn't put it past them to bring back Carlton, so there is someone else who can antagonize Kyle along with Brandi and Kim. Andy said that he thought Carlton wasn't fairly represented on her season - has he EVER said that about a housewife before? I don't remember that. I also don't remember him ever weighing in on a fight on one housewife's side, as he did with the whole "Is Brandi being a good friend to Kim" thing.

Just as Andy has always had unreasonable affection for some wives (Nene and Brandi as major examples), there are also wives he seems to unreasonably dislike. I always thought his scorn for Alex from NY was both obvious and mean; and he also seems to harbor some unreasonable Ill will for Kyle. Say what you will, she has always been a professional trouper on the show. I thought it was mean to her when they fired Taylor and Adrienne and Camille, all people she got along with, and left her isolated, with even The Dream Team laughing at her on camera for having lost all her friends. It was the opposite of bringing in a friend to film with - they took away everyone she had. Fortunately for her, Joyce and she struck up a friendship (despite strong efforts by the Dream Team to keep Joyce away from Kyle - Joyce said that Brandi told Joyce at the start of the season to not make friends with the Richards sisters, because no one else likes them.). (Joyce is another one Andy disliked for no good reason.)

If I were Kyle, I would be tempted not to come back. She seems to be a constant punching bag (she's an easy target, she always reacts and escalates), and I feel like Bravo and Andy are happy to do things that will make her unhappy. I wish she were strong enough to walk away. I doubt she will. Has any wife ever left the show on her own, other than for a spinoff? And certainly Kyle wouldn't be the first. She does love the attention and won't leave it, even if it's not good for her. So another season of Brandi and Kim being vicious and Kyle croaky crying.

One last thing, that reunin clip really cements something I've noticed. Have we ever seen Kim more happy and satisfied than she has been th last bit of this season? Whether it was screaming at Lisa Rinna and then basically needing to smoke a cigarette to express her satisfaction, or repeatedly making Kyle cry, or now at the reunion, It seems that Kim is enjoying herself more than ever before. I've never seen her so calm, confident or serene as when she is ripping someone else to shreds, going way below the belt, threatening and vicious. It is horrendous. I will never be able to watch Witch Mountain again. That witch grew up really wicked.

I don't understand Eileen's dress at all. An ill-fitting strapless that looks better suited to prom? I've never understood why so many of these women choose to wear strapless to the reunion. They're going to be sitting the whole time and strapless often bunches up or sags down in funny ways when you're sitting on a cushy sofa. And that blue frock from hell is one of the worst fits ever! She's looked great all season and she fumbles on the goal line? Honestly, I think Satan was in charge of wardrobe.

Brandi starts to go down the road to Kyle or Lisa VP about lack of loyalty when Lisa VP tells Brandi that she is interfering with the sisters.

Andy is definitely obvious about who he favors. I think it has to do with personal politics. Andy does use the housewives & Bravo shows as a bullhorn for gay rights, gay couples, behavior that is of the Girls Gone Wild level, and WWF fights. Not that there's anything wrong with that...ha, ha. But, he does like promoting the flamboyant lifestyles, IMO.

Andy makes it clear that he is angry with anyone that may have said/done something not friendly to his point of view. You just need to watch WWHL to see this in action. I like Andy, but he does play favorites.

I thought he was awful to Joyce. Joyce was Brandis punching bag last season. Tolerance isn't reserved for one point of view Andy...

I'm surprised he seems to like Thomas Ravanel on Southern Charm because Thomas and those boys are obnoxious frat boys. (Except Whitney). Andy usually predictable about those he favors.

Has Ramona been taken to "friend of"? I know that was the rumor, but I never heard it confirmed. She is in the promotional shot with all of the other gals, and they don't do that for "friends". Lu wasn't included in that group shot last year.

This seems to be the trend. If lots of folks have problems with you, and you haven't pissed anyone off, and ratings are good, you get a friend to film with.

If I were a betting woman, and as I sit here with my 3 NCAA brackets I clearly am, I would imagine conversations are being had with Leeza even as we speak.

I never thought I would think this, but if you didn't see Brandi's very long, thin, skinny legs & thighs, you might think she was a chubby lady, stomach up. I guess dress choices and Botox can really change ones appearance, holy cow! Brandi looks chub, chub and we all know she's rail thin. Doesn't she have a stylist with eyes?!!

Kim & Yos dresses are flattering shape wise, pretty, but need different colors for each lady. This is Eileen's only miss, but I love the blue. Lisa VP once again looks frumpy. She needs to change things up.

I think Kyle & Lisa R both look fabulous. They look stylish and classic, yet modern. Love it.

I know that Lydia and Alexis are gone, but my point was that after Alexis had a terrible season and no one liked her for the most part, they brought her a friend.

Has Ramona been taken to "friend of"? I know that was the rumor, but I never heard it confirmed. She is in the promotional shot with all of the other gals, and they don't do that for "friends". Lu wasn't included in that group shot last year.

This seems to be the trend. If lots of folks have problems with you, and you haven't pissed anyone off, and ratings are good, you get a friend to film with.

I think you're right AGAIN! Why didn't I think if this? Oh I'm so sad, because I really liked the addition of Eileen and LisaR, and I felt it signaled a shift away from trashy Brandi.

Ok, hardly anyone wants to see Taylor but I would gladly welcome Adrienne and Camille over Brandi and Kim.

 

 

Actually, at this point, I would welcome Taylor if it meant getting rid of Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

Brandi's quips after she's criticized: "At least I still get my period!" "You're only jealous b/c he didn't want to fuck you!" to Lisa re: Max's 22 y.o. friend. I know it's been said a million times, but she's such an immature child. What adult woman, let alone a mother, talks like this? To me it's pretty shocking that they put up with this. She brings the whole franchise down.
