My thoughts on the episode (some of you have already touched on them):

* Lisa R.'s girls calling the people of Medford "chub chubs". Really pissed me off (perhaps because I am a chub-chub). What brats. We should have heard Lisa reprimand them for their intolerance and judginess.

* I like Eileen and her home and her story a lot. It helps that I have watched y&r since I was 11 years old. I believe what she says and I don't think it's (much of) a facade like the other women.

* Did Lisa V say her hooker shoes were only $1,400? Doesn't that seem cheap to a woman who has swans in her moat around her house? Those shoes (didn't quite hear the designer's name) were sparkly and super bedazzled. Certainly I misheard.

As long as I get to see the house porn on this show, I am in for the duration, even though I can't stand Brandi; she doesn't fit the franchise and sticks out like a sore thumb.

I believe it was Ken that call the shoes "Hooker" shoes and Lisa replied "but they cost $1400"!  I have wondered why Mohammad bought her the swans to begin with, such an odd off the wall gift IMO. LOL

Lisa Rinna's daughters are horrid. "Do chub chubs live here? Ewww." "You went to CHURCH?? Ugh!" "How could you stand this place?" Nauseating.

Yes this. I really hope Lisa R keeps them off camera. This did them no favors. Nobody (at least I don't) wants to see rich entitled kids look down their nose at anything outside their wealthy lifestyle. They acted like LisaR grew up in a war torn country. The whole thing was sad.

I enjoy Lisa R, so I'd rather not see her daughters now. I agree with others that Lisa not checking daughters was wrong. And about them counting McDonalds, excuse me but I've been to California a lot and there seems to fast food places every building in some areas.

Eileen seem great. Her husband didn't seem to enjoy Brandi.

Speaking of pathetic Brandi, she really brings it all down.

I can't blame Lisa V for saying, "why do you want to be friends with me? I'm still the same horrible person." Brandi is boring and desperate and as I said before pathetic.

Brandi's incessant "like me" behavior with Ken and Lisa is nauseating. I am not a Lisa V defender, but it's pretty clear that she is still pissed at Brandi. If someone tried to put me on the spot by asking me to forgive, attend events, etc, in front of  people I'd be a little annoyed. I'm also convinced that it is impossible to have a normal conversation with Brandi. I think she thinks she has to say outrageous things in order to get attention and screentime. Her death grip on Ken was just weird. Speaking of Ken, he certainly has turned into an old grump hasn't he? He was always a bit of a curmugeon, but now its x10. Part of it may be age, but he just seems like he is just over the RH thing. My guess is that Lisa V said she wasn't coming back, then changed her mind, and Ken isn't thrilled. Notice that everything they attend they do a shot of them getting ready and Ken says he doesn't want to go. I think Lisa's hooker shoes come out for Brand's party, at least that's how it looked in the preview. I agree with whoever said Lisa just doesn't look comfortable i her clothes. Maybe going up a size would be a good thing.

Eileen seems nice, but I an still getting a "I;m acting for the camera vibe" from here. I did appreciate that they have a vegetable garden.

I loled at Lisa R. picking up dog poop. It's clear she doesn't do it, because her kids were totally giving her the side eye and asking what she was doing. THat move was purely for the cameras. As for her daughters mean girl comments, I was like whatever. If you have ever raised a girl, you know that this is not uncommon behavior. Should Lisa have reprimanded them on camera? IDK, she probably was only half paying attention, that's what I did when I raised a teen daughter. Otherwise you get all caught up in their drama. I somehow doubt that LA lacks in fast food restaurants. THey were acting like they never saw one before. My guess is the god people of Medford are not going to be thrilled with the comments. As for the church thing, Lisa probably doesn't go to church and doesn't take them to church, so it was probably a surprise to hear their mom frequented church as a kid.

I'm not going to bag on Lisa about her parents. We are seeing one tiny slice of their lives. That is by no means representational of their dynamic. No one has any idea what goes on in a family,  and there is no way I am going to judge her. All of them seemed to have a warm and loving relationship. Her father's paintings were fabulous. I wouldn't be surprised if Lisa is doing the heavy lifting financially. Again, I am not going to judge.

I thought Kim looked great and was the most lucid I have ever seen her at Kyle's. I loled that she and Vince barely remembered each other.

I always do an eyeroll at their parties. A midweek BBQ for a dozen people requires 2 chefs, a bartender, and your assistant. Whatever. Eileen and Yolanda looked like they stopped by Forever 21 to buy outfits on the way to the party.

Thanks, PhilMarlowe2, for the clarification.  Much appreciated.  Cue "The Shadow of Your Smile" ("The Sandpiper")!

I wonder if Lisa R's contribution to her parents has been more along the lines of financials.  I recall, years ago, watching Lisa on her Soap Talk show and seeing her mother on a few times -- They seemed quite close.  These things can be deceiving.  I know my elderly  parents, still living in the family house and taking care of themselves and each other, are so far not at all interested in having the adult children poking around and helping out with the house in that way.  My father is 92 also. It does feel like a miracle to have a man around of that age.  One does what one can around the edges but the overall message, so far, is we're doing just fine and like it this way!

Having children on the show is always a liability, isn't it?  Especially teenagers!  I get the sense the producers have two modes of editing when it comes to kids:  what they consider the super cute cuts and then the most obnoxious ones.  The girls seemed genuinely happy to see their grandmother though.  Teenagers say and do stupid things and I believe that the camera does alter everything really.

Brandi seems to have realized that turning on her patrons worked only as a short-term strategy and for the long haul is a mistake that's going to cost her.  Kyle, for whatever reason, continues to want to stir it up.  Lisa ain't going to dig the comment about how she holds onto a grudge longer and tighter than Giggy.   I'd be done with Brandi too and unapologetic about it.  Lisa and Ken might just want to be clear on that score -- as in, we're done.  Maybe they figure that holding out some sliver of hope is the best way to torment Brandi.  The comment next week is so beyond the bend that I'd be reaching for my smelling salts and possibly my boxing gloves once I'd recovered.  She's really gross.

poeticlicensed:  Indeed!

Lisa R said that was her half sister. She came to live with them when Lisa was six. They share the same father, but different mothers. Maybe the half sister still lives in Oregon somewhat close to the parents house? I was kind of surprised Lisa didn't seem too involved in her parents' move.

Copacabana, you are probably correct about Lisa helping more with the financial aspect of her parents' move. I thought her dad looked great for 92. Too bad he is ailing.

Exactly. When my FIL was getting very old, he decided he no longer wanted to visit us. And when we would visit him, it was pretty clear he wanted us gone, including the grandchildren, within a day. He said all the activity exhausted him, plus he had a routine that he didn't like changed. He was a great guy, a former teacher, so he loved kids, he was just old and set in his ways and even his family visiting was a major disruption for him and his "schedule" of meals, TV, reading walks, and other activities.

Lizzing, you are right. Even worse than their behavior was their mother's total lack of response. No wonder they feel so free to be such mean girls. Maybe they will be struck speechless after running across a third McDonald's in Medford, and we will be spared their haughty observations.

Kyle could have been spared the fussing over the menu if she'd known in advance that Brandi was going to ruin everyone's appetite with her coarse comments. Did I really hear the long C word? Give me strength.

I so far have liked Lisa R. and I thought this would be a sweet trip.  Both Lisa and her daughters threw Medford, Oregon under the bus. Shame on them.  The US is much more Medford than Beverly Hills and I am glad of it.

eurekagirl -- I can't bring myself to repeat it word for word, but Brandi basically asks Lisa if she'd like her to chow down on her.  Pretty stunningly disgusting and offensive.

Forget about Do you kiss your mother with that mouth? -- I'd go straight to Do you kiss your children with that mouth?  Brandi's not even a pet peeve of mine, really, but I hope Lisa has a good, sinking one-liner in her back pocket.

You are so right, applecrisp.  I'm also glad that people (at least, the ones I know from these forums) are much better that the ones you see on reality TV.  Especially "friends" - and I think you know what I mean here.  ;-)

I'm pretty sure LisaR and Elaine will soon be bugging the everlivin' shit out of me, just like every other Ho'wife.  It's inevitable (or maybe it's just me ... Nah!).  :-D

Liking Eileens husband alot.  Clearly, he is not going to be sucked in to any drama this season, and not into any phony put ons. Eileen said it's an hour drive from Malibu to the city and it's a pain in the ass with the traffic so Vince likes to stay home alot. My kind of guy. If I lived in Malibu in a gorgeous house I would want to stay home, too.

By the way, isn't his Dad the Van Patton that played the dad on Eight is Enough? I know I'm showing my age here.

This.

Agreed, but that's why having kids, especially teens, on a reality show ain't a great idea.  Cuz they say any stupid shit that comes into their heads & don't think about consequences.  They seem like typical bratty, spoiled teen girls.  I can't dismiss them as horrible cuz they greeted their grandparents & aunt so warmly & sweetly, in what seemed to me to be a very genuine way.

If you raise them right, they would never say something like that. I was watching with my 18 year old daughter and I said I would be so angry and embarrassed if you ever said something like that and she said, your welcome and I said, you are welcome too.

Bravo can get rid of Brand anytime.  She drags the show down and her incessant whining about Lisa is annoying. Other than her incessant whining, she adds nothing.   Who wants to hear about her enhancement surgery?

Brandi's on screen time seems to be less than it was in past seasons, while Eileen and Lisa R seem to be getting quite a bit of screen time for "newbies", albeit well known newbies.  Hopefully that's a sign from the Bravo Gods that Brandi is on the way out.

I'm enjoying the fact that so far we're seeing glimpses into the lives these women lead, instead of the drama, but I guess that ends next week.

Kyle:  What is a ladysitter and do I need one? And on top of Chanel dog food bowls, she now mentions a $2000 bottle of wine - we get it, you got money.  And seriously, calling Mauricio and saying "there's no ice, what do I do?"  Why not send the ladysitter?

Enjoyed the conversation around the table and again, it is nice to see Kim a part of it. Loved her "We played tennis at Charton Heston's" comment.

Add me to the people that don't understand why Lisa needs to move on with Brandi - I wouldn't, I would be very, very wary.  LOL at "Remember Puerto Rico"?. And  Loved when Ken dismissed her with "we'll see if we can make it, let's leave it at that".

I don't get a sense that Lisa wants Brandi to kiss her a**.  I just think Lisa and Ken are over her.  Brandi needs Lisa more than Lisa needs Brandi and Brandi knows that.  Lisa, with Vanderpump Rules also on Bravo, isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

And Yolanda, just because someone says they have "moved on", she doesn't need to invite the people that hurt her to an event honoring her.

Finally, when Eileen Davidson was telling her husband about Yolanda and said "she's married to David Foster", I so wanted him to say "Who's David Foster?"

As usual I pay more attention to what is not said than what is actually said.

Why is Brandi not apologizing? Maybe because in her mind she has nothing to apologize for, the "wrongdoings" that she feels have been done to her by Lisa are facts in her mind, lisa backing away from her after tampon incident, getting her around Sheanna at any chance, but especially the issue of the magazines.

I have watched every single episode since the issue of the magazines were revealed, reunion included and IIRC not once has Lisa called brandi a liar to her face and she has had plenty of opportunities to do it, she could have said it to her in PR, she could have said it at the reunion, she could have said it several times, yet I don't remember one time where Lisa with a direct eye to eye statement has said to brandi that she will not under any circumstance be her friend again until she clear up the big lie she made regarding the magazines. When someone said a lie about Lisa, like the bankruptcy, she immediately goes all out to clarify, she is relentless in her pursue of the truth. Yet with this issue of the magazines the one who has never changed her story is Brandi, she even threw out there that Kyle knew it was truth because members of production were there and witnessed everything and confirmed it to Kyle.

If I was Lisa and the truth was on my side I would have gone the extra mile to clear my name, I would have even dare Brandi to bring whoever was in production to tell the truth, I would have called her a liar and a coward to her face and would never talk to her again until she told the truth. Lisa is very lucky that most viewers are oblivious to her machinations and Brandi is nothing but a trouble maker because it is wasn't for that more viewers would have questioned what happened with the magazines and the true nature of the unholy alliance of Brandi and Lisa.

Lisa and Ken have the perfect comeback for Brandi every time she gets grabby and nutty, a simple "Brandi darling, you are a bonafide liar who didn't hesitate to make up a horrible lie about me when you accused me of trying to bring some magazines to Palm Springs to humiliate Kyle some more with the cheating rumors, that was a direct attack to my character and my morals because it doesn't matter if Kyle and I were not getting along, I would never do that to another human being, so unless and until you are ready to tell the truth and clear my name as well as tell me the exact reason why you made this horrible lie about me, I am not ready to talk to you at all" , yet for some reason I don't think that Lisa will ever address Brandi about the magazines again.

Unluckily for Brandi she is like the boy who cried wolf too many times, the one time that she might have told the truth nobody is going to believe her. All Lisa has to do is sit back and let Brandi be Brandi because her trashy and vulgar behavior are her worst enemy. Lisa is lucky indeed.

I like Lisa R but found her behavior far worse than that of her daughters. Children and teenagers say and do awful things many times because biologically they don't know better yet. It's up to the adults in their lives to correct and guide them. I'm hoping we missed the part where Lisa did just that, but she didn't even seem to flinch when they made fun of chub chubs and church. Heck I didn't even know Oregon had such an obesity problem due to having McDonalds and other franchises so easily accessible.

She said something like - I don't even know what to think about that.  The girls acquitted themselves (in my eyes) by being genuine and even tearful with grandma/grandpa/aunt.  But Lisa is doing them no favors by allowing them a platform for this snotty behavior.  And how about talking on camera about putting them on the pill - the youngest is thirteen!

Next week, when Lisa says "I hate that word", I hope she's not pretending to be a prude.  She has talked about "cocks" in her THs without even an ounce of shame.

Is Yolanda being genuine when she asks if "cunnilingus" is a Japanese vegetable?

After his acting career, Dick Van Patten went into the dog food business and his company made hundreds of millions. Not sure how much if anything the sons have to do with the brand but there's definitely money there.

Holding a grudge would be never speaking to that person again, never even acknowledging them when in the same room with them. Why is Kyle allowed to act hurt or hesitant with Lisa but not the reverse?

She has the option of walking away (fat chance).  She has the option of being openly hostile while fulfilling contractual obligations (see how that worked for last year’s witch lady).  She even has the option of being nice to their faces and mean in her talking heads.  But she’s not even doing that.

Lisa professes to be a wise lady who’s going to be cordial, but keep her distance, because she has been wronged and these women can’t be trusted.  So far so good. But to pull that off you actually DO have to be cordial.   If one of the other women acknowledges some residual awkwardness, and you respond with a dismissive “oh, THAT again?!” don’t be working into the conversation what a wounded dove you are the rest of the afternoon.

I get that she was hurt.  I get that she's still angry about it, and if this show didn't exist, she would drop these women and move on.  But she thinks she's playing a much smoother game on the viewers/the other women than she actually is, and that's what's annoying.

Eileen will forever be my favorite housewife just for the line, "nice to meet you and your newly renovated vagina."

I laughed at Brandi, as soon as Lisa left the party, boldly declaring that she wouldn't kiss Lisa's ass when she had spent the entire party doing just that.

I thought that Lisa R said that she brings the girls to Oregon once a year but comes down more often herself. The girls did not seem like they had been there before though.

I don't think Lisa has outright called Brandi a "Liar" but she has said to Brandi's face "that is a LIE" and "that is NOT true" many times about "tabloidgate" both during the PR trip, after and at the reunion. Maybe Lisa was raised better than to call someone "LIAR", in hopes that that someone admits to the lie and they then can repair some of the damage done. I also don't see anyone giving a long speech to Brandi about why they are upset/hurt and not speaking to her beyond formalities, she would never allow it. Brandi would go off on a tangent cursing at her or anyone else, whining about being cheated on and being a struggling single mom, after all,  that IS her MO. Although Lisa is not perfect, she can stir the pot with the best of them, she never gets ugly like Brandi does, Brandi is a vicious person that LOVES to destroy others in her desire to be "seen as somebody important", and IMO, she is NOT!

Lisa's hooker shoes were Brian Atwood, I believe. On par with Louboutin price wise but specializing in opulent gaudy. I love the brand in a "I'll never actually wear it" kind of way.

I really am liking this season-more house porn, shoe porn, bag porn-less classless brawling. Eileen in her garden was a pretty cool touch, especially looking at the nice variety they had.

I thought she said Fast food is king here. After the chub-chub statement.

As far as the girls being nice/loving their family eh...it's their family. I would be more impressed by them not looking down on strangers who don't have their privileged life.

I wish Lisa had said something but from her blog I see she doesn't see it as a big deal. Just her girls speaking their mind. IMO Disappointing.

And I have a 21 year old daughter so I know how teenage girls are. But the one thing I would never put up with is my children thinking they are above anybody. I think that attitude is hard to grow out of if your parents don't set you straight right away.

I get Lisa's sense of humor but a lot of times I think it's forced like she is trying way too hard to play up the British humor. I thought Eileen's "renovated vagina" line was funnier and more sarcastic than anything Lisa has said in a long time.

I don't think Lisa needs to forgive Brandi. Brandi doesn't want to be forgiven. She just wants to win. Plus, the longer Lisa goes without forgiving Brandi, the more Brandi is able to twist things and play the victim. It becomes all about Lisa holding a grudge against poor Brandi instead of about what Brandi did to Lisa. Brandi did the same thing to Adrienne. She used the bogus lawsuit to play the victim and deflect from the fact that she revealed a deeply personal secret about Adrienne's kids. Brandi knows exactly what she is doing by chasing Lisa around supposedly trying to mend the friendship.

I'm not offended by Lisa's daughters comments regarding the chubs. It's basically the same thing a lot of grown ups were saying in the Atlanta thread regarding Kandi's daughter

Plus the closest Lisa's girls have probably ever gotten to a chubby person in BH/LA is Kyle, (who is probably chubby by BH standards, definitely not by mine) I thought their comments were reflective of their sheltered BH upbringing and maybe even their mom's attitude, rather than meant to be mean.

This is the story Lisa keeps pushing but it's not like she "gets it" when other people makes similar jokes about her. Her jokes aren't that sophisticated or British imo. Sure there's times where people get offended at something that sounds like a pretty innocuous joke, but often the joke's directed at somebody she genuinely doesn't like so it's not really a joke.

The comments about the chubs and fast food places didn't offend me, but, they did make me think the girls had never been there before.

I think the girls were playing up their persona for the camera. Or I wouldn't be surprised if that seemed natural to do because LisaR was taking them around as if they'd never been there because she was really giving a tour to the viewers. I'll bet all that stuff about her younger years etc. was hilariously stagey to the girls who are used to Mom just driving to grandma's house.

I don’t recall what was said at the reunion, but I do recall that during the season, Lisa was choosing her words verrrrry carefully, changing the subject to her confusion over when and where she was in the house, and finally that she reads those magazines at home so she couldn’t possibly have wanted to take them to PR.  She said “I don’t remember” a lot.

To me that was the tipoff that Brandi was (somewhat) telling the truth.  Because while I might not remember everything I’ve done, I would remember being in the room with the tabloids, and joking about Kyle’s situation.  So at best I’d deny ever having had any conversation whatsoever about them, because it never happened, or at worst I’d probably apologize to Kyle and say “we were joking about the tabloids and how ridiculous they are, and while I never proposed to set you up by taking them to show to you, it was a rotten thing to be laughing about and I’m sorry.”

My conclusion was that she was hedging her bets because the crew was there and even if cameras weren’t on, she wasn’t entirely sure about the audio.

I'm not offended by Lisa's daughters comments regarding the chubs.  It's basically the same thing a lot of grown ups were saying in the Atlanta thread regarding Kandi's daughter.

Right and that is bullshit too. Not everybody is born with the same body type and metabolism. You can eat healthy and exercise and be a "chubb". That is the truth whether or not naturally thin people believe it.

According to this article http://www.ryanseacrest.com/2012/08/24/justin-sylvester-chats-about-life-as-a-ladysitter-audio/, a "lady sitter" seems to be a term made up by the guy working Kyle's party, and it's sort of an all-in-one assistant. They are not limited to just babysitting/being a nanny, but also maybe cooking, party planning, etc. A personal assistant, but not for every day. So I guess he essentially might look after the kids, make Kyle's sangria, and help her with her party, but he is not needed on a daily basis the way some of the other HoWives' housekeepers, nannies, etc. are.

I have no doubt that Lisa told Brandi to pack the magazines, because she thought it was funny and would provide great fodder for the trip. The fact that Brandi tattled about it and made Lisa look bad pissed Lisa off and she froze out Brandi. That said, Brandi is disgusting and I want her off my TV. I did think the PR trip was a gang up, with Kyle and Yo jumping on the bandwagon, because they are of limited intelligence and perspective

Honestly I really don't care about the hurt feelings and accusations about  magazine gate or whatever else that they are/were fighting about. I wish they would stop rehashing. I'm so lost at this point I don't know who is in with who and who is on the outs with who. And I don't particularly care.

I don't mean to be a Lisa R apologist, but if I was taken to task for every mean or insensitive comment my teenage children made, I'd have my mommy card pulled folr sure. The difference is that cameras are not rolling at my house.

You and me both, Mama!  For real.

In other news, the vagina obsession epidemic continues to rage unabated.  If I had a dollar for every mention of the item, I'd be a rich rich woman.

Yolanda is such a stealthy operator.  She totally knew that Lisa couldn't say, Why would I invite you and The King to such a low rent affair in Palm Springs?  I was doing you a favour, woman, by keeping you out of it! 120 degrees, no doubt, and also a level Z shindig.  No offense to Palm Springs, either, which is lovely.

Can anyone really imagine David Foster showing up for such a thing?  And, good old Yolanda, what a clever way to point out the contrast between her husband's star and Lisa's.  Her Xena, Woman Warrior, barbeque outfit is one for the ages.  I got the feeling that she totally trying to impress upon Eileen, her new crush, that she is still super model (eyeroll) material.  That was definitely an editorial look meant to cause a sensation.

I can already see the lemon grove and the vegetable garden falling madly in love and then breaking up in the most bitter of ways.

If only Lisa had made a face, showing her dislike of their comment but she chimed in with "fast food is King here" instead. I got the impression that Lisa thinks that her childhood hometown WAS/IS beneath her.

How does one "play up British Humor" when they are in fact British?  LOL

Lisa said that Brandi was "not telling the truth" and that was said was "a lie" several times. How was she supposed to prove she did not do it? Brandi didn't even say 1 word about this to Yolanda until the PR trip even though it happened before the PS trip. That is why I call BS on Brandi's story, she would have at the very least told Yolanda during the PS trip, she already knew that Yolanda was unhappy with Lisa by then and she would have told Carlton, Carlton and Lisa were not close at all. Both Carlton and Yolanda were at Brandi's house, although outside, when this happened, yet Brandi says nothing when it happened or on the way to PS in the limo. Yolanda went so far as to say she never saw any tabloids in Brandi's home that day. I think Kim told Brandi about the conversation Kyle and Lisa had, episode 1, and the cheating/younger woman joke and Brandi ran with it creating this story to make Lisa the bad HW this season. Brandi plots her moves/targets well in advance and IMO, she was trying to help Yolanda become Queen Bee of BH.

Lisa has never claimed to "buy" tabloids to read at home, that was/is Brandi and she boasted about it.

Not everyone has warm fuzzy feelings about their hometown. She did say that she always felt like she never fit in in Medford. That doesn't necessarily mean she feels the town is beneath her, I just got the impression she just never felt like she was part of it. Which isn't unusual for someone who moved during their childhood. I moved 6 times growing up. I don't feel connected with any of the places I lived. I got what she was saying.

What I'm getting is that Lisa R. was already becoming too likable so TPTB opted to give her a more ambiguous and charged edit this time.  I was confused yesterday by a couple of things.  In the scenes were Lisa's parents and daughters are viewing her father's art or the photos or whatever, where are they exactly?  Are they at an assisted living place and viewing the stuff in a group room of some kind?  I couldn't figure out where they were as it didn't look like their very nice house.  I wonder if the girls looked like they hadn't been there before because the grandparents are in a some kind of elder care facility outside of Medford.  I was knitting so a bit distracted but it was confusing to me.

Let's hope that Medford, which I'm sure is terrific, is confident enough to get over a couple of teenagers being not great and a person doing something emotional with her parents with cameras trained on her.  This doesn't rise to the level of Vicki G dissing Oklahoma in my book or even Lisa V acting like she can't be bothered to distinguish among Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Porto Whatever.    And not to get a storm brewing but I find Lisa V to be obnoxiously ignorant and condescending towards anything Latin American or Hispanic.  And I say this as one who is one.

I laughed at Brandi, as soon as Lisa left the party, boldly declaring that she wouldn't kiss Lisa's ass when she had spent the entire party doing just that.

Thirsty.  That's all I kept thinking while Brandi followed her around that house begging for her to come to her housewarming party.  And then she states she's not gonna kiss her ass again....uh, ok.

I'm not offended by Lisa's daughters comments regarding the chubs.  It's basically the same thing a lot of grown ups were saying in the Atlanta thread regarding Kandi's daughter.

Yep.  And I'm not offended by Lisa not admonishing either of them either.  The girls definitely should've chosen better words to express their viewpoint, but they're teenagers.  Teenagers are assholes.

The word is another name used for a cat, Lisa hates that word, if my memory is working today! LOL

Lisa likes the cat word and prefers it to the more clinical vagina.

Hmmmm, I thought it was a word she did not like. I wonder what word Brandi says then?

All I can say is my mother would have corrected me on the spot for making comments like that. Especially on camera. Then when we got home I would have been lectured on how I embarrassed her. No, I don't have daughters, but if and when comments like that were uttered by my sons, they were corrected.

When I was a teen, my mom was talking about some bratty behavior a neighbor's child exhibited and she said, "You don't do your children any favors when you allow them to act like brats. When they grow up learning they can do whatever they please, no one will like them."

While I can understand the daughters being surprised she went to church, the tone of voice sounded as though her mother had confessed to wallowing around in a cholera-infested swamp every weekend.

The girls did seem glad to see their grandparents, and actually gracious, but when Lisa was telling them she wanted them to go to Oregon with her, the looks on their faces and the comments seemed to show they really didn't want to be bothered. Not even that seemed to faze Lisa. Hopefully, they are just baiting her to get a reaction. I hope we don't have to hear how far they will go.

They moved there when she was barely school age and lived there all through her school years so I am not sure she had all that memories about living in Cali, as a toddler/preschooler. Not fitting in is 1 thing but making the community sound beneath you, and to me she did do that, is not becoming IMO. Don't get me wrong, I still like her so far and hope to continue to do so. LOL

It is possible that the PTB are trying to take some of the shine off Lisa R through editing. Her parents are in a facility for the elderly, most likely they are in the Assisted Living section and if needed can move to a section designed for full time care. I gathered that her fathers paintings, which were beautiful, were in a communal space such as a rec room that all the residents there use.

I never got the impression that Lisa was condescending or ignorant towards or about anything/anyone Hispanic/Latin American but that is just my impression. Now Brandi on the other hand.....despite being once married to someone of Cuban decent, shows a lack of knowledge and major ignorance which is alarming because it is her sons heritage/lineage.

That's was weird too. Lisa R. Said she's the adult now taking care of her parents. No you are not, Lisa. Your sister is taking care of them. I know that because I took care of my parents while my brothers living in the area, couldn't find the time. However, they were both able to make it on time to collect their inheritance. Sorry for going OT, but, that shit pisses me off. Ignore your parents if you want to, but, don't cry about the sacrifices you aren't making.

I was thinking the same thing when I wasn't fixated on Lisa's bizzaro world face. Such a sacrifice she is making. She should only hope her spoiled girls don't take her money and run when she loses her looks (LOL) and dump her in an assisted living facility. How many times could she diss her hometown which seemed nice enough....it's like Lisa came out of the womb knowing she was too good for a perfectly nice middle class place.

Couldn't she at least take her half sister to a nicer place that a Bravo comped eatery for everything she has done?

If Lisa didn't bother me before, I certainly don't like the person she is now.

The girls acquitted themselves (in my eyes) by being genuine and even tearful with grandma/grandpa/aunt.

As far as the girls being nice/loving their family eh...it's their family. I would be more impressed by them not looking down on strangers who don't have their privileged life.

I feel the same way as imjagain. Why do the girls deserve credit for being teary when seeing their grandparents? I'm sure they love them, or it was hard to see them in a nursing home, so their reactions were genuine. As were their reactions upon seeing a McDonald's only a strip mall or two away from a second McDonald's!
