Popular Post TexasTiffany November 25 Popular Post Share November 25 Meri finally packs up her stuff and is ready to move. I don't understand why she asked Kody to help. Get some self-esteem and tell Kody to go shuck himself. While loading the truck, Kody and Meri are laughing and being playful. After I threw up, they show Kody being emotional and crying about Meri leaving. Don't even with that crap, Kody. Yet, Meri says she is confused. 8 18 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150823-s19e11-the-eleventh-hour/#findComment-8517287

Gramto6 November 25 Share November 25 Nathan is Meri's brother in law so it makes sense for him to help her and Jenn is her bestie so she makes sense too. Kody is probably there because production wanted him there just to see what would happen. My guess is Meri would have asked one of the boys or even hired someone rather than have Kody there. Popular Post Andyourlittledog2 November 25 Popular Post Share November 25 Kody, the reason you don't understand Robyn's 'heartbreak of extreme proportions' over Meri leaving is because it's fake. The only thing Robyn is upset about is that the pawns that she cast in her little psychodrama of a life are leaving and she is stuck being monogamous with you. The fake tears over Meri leaving are just because Meri won't act her part any more. The granny rocking chairs of polygamy are going to be empty. And she can't stand that. I know Christine is over the top giddy all the time about her new man and life but I give her a pass. I joined a cult when I was fifteen and married a man I loved who didn't love me and let me know it constantly the twenty years we were together. When I finally got the courage to just quit it was quite freeing and I totally get her excitement and happiness at starting all over with a man who seems to really love her. She is happy and she is showing it and she doesn't give a damn who has a problem with it. Good for her. Also, it's not her decision to rub our faces in it - production decides what to include while editing the footage. Christine doesn't control what and how much we see. 15 26 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150823-s19e11-the-eleventh-hour/#findComment-8517320

Popular Post sassi214 November 25 Popular Post Share November 25 Robyn is one of the most brazen manipulators I've ever seen. She really has the audacity. First of all, the B can't even help her "best friend" move?? She comes over with a baby gift? I love how Meri didn't want to open it and indulge her but Robyn grabbed it out of her hands and opened her gift for her. WTF. And she goes on to explain that it's a journal to write down Meri's dreams and goals. Dude. STFU And then she just LEAVES! Then sets up a closeup crying shot in her car. I cannot with this lady. Kody is only sad that he can't say he is a polygamous with four wives anymore. I've been doing a rewatch and he LOVED to say it. More than he loved being one. It was so transparent. But now he gets to play the divorced victim I guess. Three wives left me booo-hoooo for me! In reality he left them. I continue to have no problems with Christine's giddiness and joy. She is 50yo and NEVER had any of these moments. And she always wanted them and now she is getting her dream. Not everyone gets that. I love that she is embracing it and enjoying it to the fullest. And she gets to do all of the things, the engagement, the announcement, the dress shopping, all of the planning. I find it a bit boring to watch, but I know how exciting it is when you're in it. I don't begrudge her at all. Paedon was being a bit of a shit but I guess that's him. I love the Christine doesn't let it get to her. When Kody was holding Meri and blubbering (or trying to squeeze the tears out for the camera), how cringe and AWKWARD. Why didn't Nathan and Jenn leave the room?? Like take a hint guys. It was hilarious when the camera panned over. The previews for the rest of the season look pretty interesting. The fact that we're still almost two years back is insane though. This episode Christine said they are getting married in October, so that puts this episode in March 2023. YIKES. 65mickey November 25 Share November 25 I continue to fast forward through the David and Christine show. Totally agree with Meri that Kody and Janelle are not being 100% truthful about the family money. Kody may have decided where and when money was spent but Janelle knew who was taking money out of the account and how often Kody was making withdrawals and how much he was spending. She acts like she was in the dark about the money. The entire family should have had monthly or quarterly meetings to go over the account and see where they stood. 8 2 6 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150823-s19e11-the-eleventh-hour/#findComment-8517392

It had zero to do with breaking his covenant with Robyn. General Days November 25 Share November 25 Sorry for the glare, but this is the "stank face" Meri gave Robyn (which Robyn fully earned) that I referenced in the Live Chat thread, last night. I tried to get a screenshot from TLC, but when you pause the player, the screen gets darker, and it was worse than the glare shot from my TV. Context: As she was leaving, Robyn told Meri, "I really want you to find happiness." After Meri replied, "I'm happy," this is how her face settled. It's going to be so healthy for Meri to get away from the Dark Cloud and her manservant. 18 3 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150823-s19e11-the-eleventh-hour/#findComment-8517471
Dibs November 25 Share November 25 (edited) Don't be "confused," Meri, and don't delude yourself. Kody is mouring the loss of his polygamous "one big family" dream, which he doesn't even want anymore. It doesn't mean that he now wants YOU. Kody has had four years to take acting classes from Sobbin'. If he'd asked her to crawl back at that moment, which he never would, I bet she would have! As for Christine, ENOUGH ALREADY. Yeah, you're happy; yeah, he's "real"; yeah, it's fast. What's going on in 13-year-old Truly's life; does she even know or care as self-absorbed, giddy, and horny as she is? This all feels like a big FU to Kody from a vengeful, spiteful ex as well as a case of arrested development finally getting to be "Princess for a Day." It's all Christine, all the time. David feels incidental. Edited November 25 by Dibs 5 2 1 2 1 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150823-s19e11-the-eleventh-hour/#findComment-8517472

You don’t spring a proposal video on everyone unless you want that reaction. I am sure the Kody helping Meri move was production’s handiwork. It was nice to see Meri laughing though. Kody was attention seeking as normal. Sacred to Robyn … yet he was just asking Janelle to reconcile. My guess is he thought Robyn would scream at him for being in physical contact with Meri when she saw the scene in the episode. Not even going to comment on Robyn’s scenes I do not understand Kody’s emotional outburst in Utah at the B&B. He hasn’t wanted anything to do with Meri in a decade. Much as I believe Janelle loves Christine, it must burn just a little that Christine slipped the leash so easily and ended up with the proceeds from her Flagstaff house. Janelle has been trying to maximize her Coyote Pass stake for years. She lived in an RV, emptying a chem toilet and toting in water cans. She lived in one generic rental unit apartment after another while the other wives were in big houses. She got soil samples and drew up plans to make her section profitable with greenhouses and whatnot. And now Kody's stringing her along like a catnip mouse. "I might need to lawyer up." GET THE DAMN LAWYER!!! Does she have some thought in her head that Kody is eventually going to partition the land fairly and equitably of his own free will? Once she moves away, she doesn't have much hope of seeing a dime come back to her from Coyote Pass. I think she visited Meri, after such a long silence between them, because she realized she and Meri have a mutual interest in getting their money out of Coyote Pass and they could present a united front. I think there's a big difference between acting as the family's bookkeeper and making the decisions about how money was spent. At the end of the day, Kody had the final say and I doubt there was much Janelle could do about it. 8 hours ago, Dibs said: As for Christine, ENOUGH ALREADY. Maybe Truely doesn't want her life on TV, and at 13 I think she is old enough to make that decision. 11 1 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150823-s19e11-the-eleventh-hour/#findComment-8517802

Kellyee November 26 Share November 26 I was happy to see that Christine is sensitive enough to Ysabel's feelings that she told her about the engagement ahead of time in private and didn't spring it on her at the party. I'm also glad to see Meri getting away from Flagstaff. As others have said, I think a lot of these interactions between the wives and also between wives and Kody are forced by TLC at this point. Janelle would have just called Meri and not gone to see her in person if they didn't need to film it. At least we saw Robyn walking around someplace besides her own yard and off her couch, but her crying was once again horribly fake. According to Meri, Robyn barely saw her when she lived close by, and didn't see her at all during Covid. I'm curious about why Meri didn't see her sister and bro-in-law during Covid and doesn't appear to be spend holidays with them. Are they only close while filming? I can't care about Kody, no matter how hard I might (not) want to try. He made his own bed and he can lie in it. 9 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150823-s19e11-the-eleventh-hour/#findComment-8518266

But I guess Meri is prepared to wait another ten years hoping for a crumb from Kody. Wishing Janelle all the best. I. really hope she’s going to make wiser financial decisions without Super Mario dumping all her money down the Brown drain. However, her recent, rather vague business venture about a possible flower farm on a (former?) logging site, doesn’t give me much hope. Also, if she hasn’t realised by now that Kody is not to be trusted with money, then she’ll never learn. 9 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150823-s19e11-the-eleventh-hour/#findComment-8518274

It looked like some lame glue gun craft she had *Alibabba make. *combining 2 of my Mormon shows, not making fun of the child That is what I got from it. Ew. 🤞 Me, too. Did anyone happen to notice how quickly Kody pushed her away from him? Super awkward. Meri seems happy, but I think it came across as forced. 3 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150823-s19e11-the-eleventh-hour/#findComment-8518353

That last scene with her "blubbering" in the car was particularly laughable because real blubbering involves lots of tears and mucus in addition to the ugly-crying face. I fully believe Robyn practices her cryface in the mirror for hours until she can scrunch up her face but still look "pretty" doing it. She has the technique down but for the life of her, actual liquid will still not descend from her barren tear-ducts. She's ALMOST there. I listen to a podcast where the host calls Robyn's theatrics "CAB" - crying adjacent behavior. I laugh every time. 18 hours ago, precious pupp said: I saw RILL TEARS on Robyn in the car scene. She had to have been peeling onions out there to produce them. Those tears were probably real for the first time. Robyn has finally realized that the last cash cow plot point doormat wife is exiting stage right, and without the titular Sister Wives, there can be no more show. Robyn was probably crying wondering how she's going to keep her eyebrows on while standing over the french-fry machine at McDonald's. 16 hours ago, candall said: For me, the funniest moment of this whole shebang was when the camera slo-ow-ly rolled away from Kody sobbing out his misplaced remorse to Meri and focused on Jen and bro-in-law burning laser beam eye-holes in the floor and the back wall of the house, respectively. Give that cameraman a raise for capturing this not once, but multiple times over the course of Kody's sobfest. That was brilliant. And to be truthful, I was totally Jen when I was watching Robyn stand there with Meri to hand her that gift, only to have Robyn open it herself. I was cringe-laughing so hard, but I need to applaud Meri for refusing to open the gift with Robyn standing there in front of her, desperate for Meri to do just that so Robyn could explain what that piece of crap even was and how Meri was supposed to use it. I took up junk journaling during lockdown. The journal that Robyn gave Meri looked like someone else had already applied the - well, the "junk" to it. I would also bet a pair of LLR leggings that Robyn decorated the inside of the journal herself with notes to Meri, like "Hold on with me!" "Kody said your name two months ago so I think there's still hope!" "Please come back, I can't do Kody all by myself!!!!!" Also, did you guys know Christine was getting married and it's all very fast? You're welcome. 3 1 16 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150823-s19e11-the-eleventh-hour/#findComment-8518354

However- I do not think that she was considering leaving Kody herself at the time of that conversation. She was still all-in with her money to the family. I think thoughts of leaving Kody began when she watched the TH where Gabe cried. Which she saw at some point later than it was filmed. She probably got feedback on that from the rest of the OG13. She then saw Christine leave and got the result of Kody’s reaction to her supporting Christine. Then she left - too late to protect herself financially.
