Meg Bennett was probably the last Y&R writer who was familiar with the characters. The current writers certainly are not.

It looked like Wizard-of-Oz vintage early colorized film or a blurry 3-D movie on a 2-D screen. I don't know WHAT they were going for.

at one point when Sheila became a Phyllis look alike but was supposedly killed, MS had about an inch of brown roots. I suspected that was a sign that Phyllis had been killed and it was fake Phyllis (Sheila) who lived, but TPTB never did anything with that possibility and Shelia was simply forgotten.

It looks dull (matte finish) like those spray-on fibers to cover sparse growth areas. But viewers would LOVE it!

Bryton seems to have been phoning it in the past couple of years. What does he think he deserves an Emmy for? Back when Nina's mother Flo Webster (Sharon Farrell RIP) was on the show (with the same or less frequency as Michael Baldwin), she'd always be nominated and on/in soap mags & TV guide. More often than the main characters. Her agent must have been working overtime.

We haven't seen Claire since she was chloroformed. Did anyone check under Harrison's bed? Or in the ditch near where the van was abandoned? I know Jordan is an attempted murderer, but Dummer keeps referring to her as a murderer. Who did Jordan murder?

Americans watching on Monday should make sure they have ear plugs or easy access to the mute button. Dummer, Kyle & Drinki yell their way through half the show. There is also an unnaturally-illuminated ultra-cheap-looking closeup scene with Chance & Dummer in front of a backdrop of the Newman 'ranch' house.

I just listened to this (I too watched it on Ed Sullivan). His voice is reminiscent of the nerdy version of The Nutty Professor. I wonder if Jerry was mocking Gary with that act.

Why hasn't Kyle demanded to talk to or video chat with the Hasenpfeffer to establish proof of life? I wish Victor would lend Danny one of his black T-shirts. We did see Danny's back covered with very dark 'freckles' - those things should be checked out by a skin cancer expert.

At one point in the movie clip it sounded like he was playing Franklin with a New Jersey accent.

The new Hassenpfeffer is more peppery than the previous hare (and has a bunny good luck charm to boot!). Jordan told Clare the same thing when she was growing up.

Indeed, who wants the wilting flowers that didn't sell all day? I would expect the Abbotts to have fresh Dutch tulips delivered at 7 am, as soon as they were flown in on the red eye. Yes, Jordan chloroformed her, but they never showed how she got that deadweight downstairs and into the van while also wrangling Harrison.
