Welp, this dinner went south fast! Drunk Meredith goes to screaming YOU CAN LEAVE at Angie and then went to disabled children…WTF? And drunk Heather laughing and then vomiting up the five espresso martinis, and I’m with Whitney, I’d be gagging too!

I think she didn’t test her foundation/concealer in natural light outside of her closet.  Can also happen if you put a heavy sunscreen on under your makeup.  For all her parishioners’ money, she needs someone to help her in the wig and makeup department.

Meredith is just so bad at who she wants to be - the cool girl, above all these antics, lounging in her bathtub with her husband and his taint, knowing that these housewife games are unimportant in the real world. I guess it was the booze tonight.  I liked that both Lisa and Whitney called her on her usual shenanigans - act above it all, pretend she knows secrets, announce that she's not going to discuss the rumor that (insert rumor here), announce that her own life has important issues such that she can't be bothered with their pettiness even as she devolves into the star of the pettiness. 😄. As a former special ed teacher who actually does care about the little handicapped children of the world, one thing I've learned is you NEVER make a threat you can't keep - I was howling at her trying to get a waiter to throw another rich lady out of a fancy restaurant 😂. And people who are concerned with real world problems aren't lounging in their bathtubs on a housewife show, Meredith.  (Nor are they trying to foist Brooks Marks upon the world, but that's a complaint for a different day 😃)

It seems to me the icing of Angie has to do with how angry Meredith, Jen, and Heather were last year at the reunion when the three friends of (the two Angies, and Danna) appeared. They obviously didn't want them on the show, and Angie K. is the only who became a HW (the other two are not even friends anymore). Heather mentioned she was friends with Angie in high school, but they were not friends after that.

Meredith had a psychotic breakdown. What is her story about disabled kids? 

The outfits were chosen specifically in order to embarrass the women.

I have to say that the drunken arguing at dinner (and Meredith's histrionic craziness) was pretty hilarious.

But man, that ending was so, so, gross. I had to look away - just having to hear Heather upchucking into a shopping bag was too much. That poor, poor driver. If I were Heather, I'd be so mortified that I'd never want to show my face in public again.

Yes, what was that all about?  It looked as though Mary and Monica were actually choosing some decent outfits, but then added a goofy hat.  The other group didn't even try to choose something nice for their partner.  I guess we missed the instruction that said the get-up needs to be silly and draw attention in the restaurant.

Let's play a game. NO! Let's not and say we did. It never  ends well, ever. Monica is trying  too hard, but Angie K goes from one friend to another, Heather  was right. She's a user imho. She was too long with that awful Shah woman.

Oh Heather,  throwing  up and peering. I'd  never come out of that van again, the driver  looked pissed off.( no pun intended) I know Lisa lost an expensive  ring, but she mentioned  it an awful  lot. Poor Trixie didn't  know what to say. I don't  think she cared really.  The SL ladies are bringing  it this season,  and I'm here for it.

Monica said Lisa handled her outfit well as her positive comment, but Nah, she didnt. She complained on and on about how embarrassing the outfit was, when she wasn't complaining about her $60,000 ring. I don't want to hear about it anymore. Same goes for Monica's "I'm so poor!" 

I don't think Heather should be that mortified. Embarrassed, sure, but lot of us have been there once in our lives: over-served and unable to get to a private bathroom fast enough.  It wasn't intentional unlike the usual screaming, throwing things, inappropriate sex talk, etc. I'd be more embarrassed if I were Meredith.

Meredith has something else going on in her personal life that she is not dealing with. It sounds like something to do with a friends daughter maybe? I don't know but it brings out the English accent and general unstable-ness.

Poor Heather throwing up and peeing herself on camera? I can't imagine the level of embarrassment she is feeling. I will admit I have thrown up and peed myself at the same time but I was in my own bathroom. It was terrible.

Angie is going for the throat calling Meredith fake and her store not doing any business. It's exactly was Lisa was caught saying on the hot mic so, is it true? And does Meredith have the deets on Angie's husband? I need to know.

Monica was not ready for the level of vitriol that these ladies were spewing, i like it so far, but she needs to catch up or these women will eat her alive.

This show delivers! So many laugh out-loud moments!  Mary confusing 'pornography' with predator, Meredith's transformation in Lady Marx, Whitney's sympathy gag, Angie plumbing new depths of unlikability, Lisa droning on and on about her ring and Heather's cap becoming disheveled proportionately to her alcohol intake.  All this and Trixie Mattel!

Finally! These ladies are serving it up.

I howled at Mary at the pool refusing to sit with Angie and Whitney. She may be a “pornography” and a grifter but the casual way she just don’t give a fuck tickles me to no end.

The Lady Meredith accent was everything!  YOU CAN LEAVE! 
 

Whitney is just pretty to look at. Her voice is nails on a chalkboard for me.

I'm really confused about what Meredith was going on about but I did enjoy her different accents. I loved her going to the waiter and asking him to kick out Angie. Poor guy was like "I'll do my best" 😆

I think the funniest/best part of most of the fights is that, to varying degrees, every woman was correct. Like Angie is a friend hopper, Meredith does love to pull in some outside thing to excuse herself, Whitney didn't need to start that mess with Meredith on the boss, Mary's church is predatory, etc.

I still can't get over the fact that Whitney invited Angie to go with her on the girls trip when it wasn't even her trip! I thought Meredith would be directing much more of her drunken British vitriol at her! This had to be driven by production because nobody IRL would do something as bold and obnoxious as what Whitney did.

Whitney is such a weirdo but I live for her confessionals. So funny and pretty much spot on most of the time. I think she is usually high AF most of the time.

I do wish there was more fourth wall breaking because all the hand wringing over Angie K showing up to the girls trip seemed ridiculous a bit because it's not a girls trip, it's a work function for  the show and she's a cast member on the show.

I was shocked that Heather would allow herself to get so drunk on camera after the black eye stuff last season. Even drunky mcdrunk Sonja Morgan would occasionally course correct and dial back the drinking every few seasons.

Hopefully while they are staying at the Trixie Motel, one of Trixie's drag queen friends can help Mary out with her makeup issues. Not Trixie, because, well, let's just say she knows how to beat one face. And not Coco Montrese because Mary doesn't need to turn from blue/grey to orange. But I digress.

Heather- choose one story and stick with it. Were you and Angie friends in High School and you're upset that she dropped you, or, like you said last week, were the two of you never friends?

Bravo has shown us how easy it is to find ex Mormons that are willing to sign on to the show, are there a high number of ex communicated Mormons? 

I have noticed that Heather seems to shop in resale or consignment shops a lot, not that there is anything wrong with it but I have noticed it. Sometimes before a big trip I do shop specifically for that trip, it includes a fresh white tee shirt, a new bag (for my upcoming trip to London I bought a nylon Lancaster crossbody) I totally get why I will never be asked to be on HW franchaise.  

Mary vexes me, she can be so daft then have the clarity to snark really well like she woke up said whatever and then it's lights out again.  Her outfit for dinner looked no different than the usual odd outfit she normally wears.

Thanks to Heather the security deposit on that van service will never be refunded.

I think we figured out why Angie K was made a cast member... she really got under Meredith's skin and she stayed calm.  Personally... Angie Harrington would have been my pick as a housewife or returning friend of.. since that girl got drama going in season 3.

Meredith looked like someone going unhinged at someone exposing her to reality.

I liked Lisa's outfit Meredith picked.... and I thought Monica/Mary were a fun pair while shopping.

This episode was high art! My 15-year-old always questioned why I watch the housewives fighting, but they sat down and watched this episode with me, and I felt vindicated. Yeah, you have to sit through a lot of duds, but every once in a while the perfect, consummate housewives episode comes through, and this was it. We didn’t stop laughing for the entire hour! I will probably do the unthinkable and watch the rerun/extended version next week—it was just that good. I can’t wait to count how many accents Meredith went through. She went with her usual affectation, then threw a little angry street flair in there, course corrected with a 1940s mid-Atlantic dame, really leaned into the dramatic Mommie Dearest by giving “You. Can. Leeeeave!! Nooww!!!” the full “No. Wire! Hangers!! Evaaaa!” treatment, then somehow turned into a 16th century British duchess. I’m sure there are a few more accents I missed. But from beginning to end, it was a laugh riot.
