THEN in the talking head tries to make herself the victim with the crying and I feel like a failure and I was just trying to make it nice .... Dorinda is still exhausting and she wasn't even that ugly drunk.  It was nice to see Christmas and the ugly sweater Jill got was great.  I love the ugly sweaters.  I was shocked they brought up Denise and Tamra spilling that information.  Was that discussed before? Phaedra is my favorite of the ladies.

Loved it when Brandi told her that she was in denial about being put on pause. Dorinda said that's what Andy calls it. Sure he did after she demanded that he call it a pause.

Dorinda did go on to say that Andy asked her is she wanted to know “why she was put on pause” and of course Dorinda told him that if it wouldn’t change the “pause” she didn’t want to know.

While this episode was more tolerable, seeing how bad she was the night before, slurring and being escorted out of the restaurant and to bed, was so telling.  Then Dorinda tells them she never drinks like this when she is not with them!  If her family can’t talk some sense into her, her best friend Greg Calejo should.

I'm so glad that Dorinda is finally being taken to task.  Only took 6 episodes for all the wives to finally Unionize against her.

Every time anyone compliments Dorinda, she agrees immediately.  Anytime somebody says something not so pleasant about Dorinda she denies it immediately, even if it's 100% true.

Tamra was proposed to in that hat?  LOL.

Seeing doctors manhandle Phaedra's poor newborn freaked me out.  I didn't like seeing that.  The doctor grabbed the baby by the neck and swung it around to someone else.  Eeeeek.

Dorinda "apologizing" to Vicki:  The reason I bully you is because of your personality!  It's your fault!

Tamra to Jill:   When you don't talk we miss you.  But make it short.  (OUUUUUUUCH).

This is the exact storyline from Sex and the City where none of them women said they wanted to have sex with Miranda.  hahahahahahhahaha.

Dorinda has a wonderful face but I hate hate hate her personality so it's ruined for me.

For the first time all of Dorinda's castmates confronted her about her drinking and abusive behavior. Unlike RHNY when so many of her castmates tiptoed aroudn her for fear of poking the bear. Finally Dorinda has to face head on how her drinking affects her behavior. But I have my doubts that her good behavior will last. Give her a few martinis and we will sees what happens.

I thought overall this was a fun episode - I wish more of them went this way, that's what I liked about S1 of RHUGT, overall it was fun and the usual sh!t stirrers were actually mellow - we got to see another side of them. They drink WAY too much on S2, especially Dorinda. She's been drunk every day/night. I don't get it. She needs a therapist and maybe some xanax.

I am used to the person not being able to steal back what was stolen from them in a white elephant game.  Also, once it is stolen from them, they immediately select another gift.  They don't wait until the end and get their choice of all of the items. Otherwise having something stolen is meaningless. 

I was amazed that Vicki remained calm when Dorinda was slurring at her about not texting Steve's daughter.  Vicki is usually among the most OTT, heinous housewives.  Yet again, Dorinda is such a mess she is making Vicki the voice of reason. That is no small feat.  

Dorinda's BS about how dare Vicki show up and not be the life of the party, ugh. While I found Steve sleazy and have no love for the Vickster, she was dumped by her partner of several years right before leaving for a work trip.  He set it up so she would be out of town while he went to the house and got his things.  That is a difficult spot to be in. She was also sick. And while Vicki is known for her histrionics when ill, she should not be expected to "whoop it up!" while she is recovering from covid and has a sinus infection.  Of course, she could have chosen to not appear; however, she was also under contract at that point.  Dorinda was basically saying that all of the women need to entertain her and portray personalities that she finds amusing.  Otherwise she has the right to abuse them.

I'm almost 55 and while I hate to be ageist, Brandi needs to give up the sex kitten routine.

She and Erika Jayne are a lot alike in this respect.  Both way past their primes who still think they are the sexiest, most desirable women around and they are anything but and it comes off so pathetic.

Brandi's face is scary at this point and while tall and long legged, the meat is hanging off the bones like she's never worked out a day in her life.  

The kiss between her and Taylor positively revolting.

Can we talk about that dress (or was it actually a tunic) in this episode! At some point it becomes a matter of simply needing to grow the F up. If all you have to throw around is OTT sexuality you don't really have much going on.

I agree with you, except Vicki could have done a lot of things, including get vaccinated.  She chose not to.  She made a lot of bad decisions that resulted in the consequence of being on this show in this state.  She had COVID, she should have not been on the show period.  If the contract stated that she had to appear even with COVID, and COVID was not a reason to get out of it, then that's REALLY sick of the show.

Nothing excuses Dorinda obviously.

I believe that Vickie said that she had previously had Covid but had tested negative before she arrived for filming. She was sick with a sinus infection uring filming. She would not be filming with the others if she was still positive for Covid.

Phaedra not discussing her 'pause' makes me think that one of the requirements for doing this is to discuss the show, their experiences, etc.  She is basically just making funny observations and nothing else.  She needs to step it up.

Vicki - I understood her better this season. Her real personality is more soft-hearted and quiet than I thought initially, despite the Whoop-It-Up nonsense.

Phaedra has always played things close to the vest.  

At the start of this show I posted about wanting her to let us know about her professional life as the undertaker lawyer but not only have we not heard anything but nobody has asked her about her career(s).  She did mention some sort of acting gig, of course she did not mention what sort of gig it was.

I am not a fan, her talking heads are not funny enough to elicit the open mouth guffaw she does at the end of every line.

Yeah I don't know -- she's so self-unaware and (as Eva pointed out) sometimes fails to pick up on social cues but...it entertains me, somehow!  I've always said I think the best RHW (note: not the best human beings or the most likeable RHW but the ones that make the best TV) are the ones who really, fundamentally just can't help being who they are, deep down.  People who I think fall into this category include Ramona, Vicki, Teresa -- and maybe Jill, too?

Yes! Vicki is a stick in the mud, but she was also calmly establishing her boundaries. I noticed that Tamra sensed it and tried to get Brandi’s attention when she wasn’t letting it go.

I am enjoying Phaedra as comic relief but I agree with others that she is playing too close to the vest. She even tried to blame it on being a Scorpio, but it’s been established since Episode One that there are two other Scorpios in the cast and they’ve been giving. Brandi is still a hot unfiltered mess and Eva gave us the most “real” moment of the show when she and Taylor bonded over being in abusive relationships. (If anyone cares, Vicki is an Aries, Taylor is a Gemini, Tamra is a Virgo and Dorinda and Jill are Sagittarius)

I was pleasantly surprised that Taylor and Brandi were BOTH the voice of reason?? Brandi explained to Dorinda what everyone has been trying to say, and Taylor was 100% correct when she told Brandi to stop prefacing statements with “To be honest…” because that implies you haven’t been honest before and won’t be again. I used to date a man who worked in some kind of corporate sales and he told me the same thing.

I have empathy for Dorinda because I used to behave like her — it wasn’t good and I had friendships put “on pause” for a while until I figured out that you can’t go crazy on people and expect everything to be just fine the next day. I think she is going through a strange kind of lonely that isn’t just about being a widowed empty nester.

I hate Dorinda for many reasons but the biggest?  Making Vicki seem rational and normal.  Brandi needs a real gig so she can buy new clothes.  No age shaming, but she is about 20 years too old for these clothes and the drunken party girl antics.  It just looks sad at this point.  I say this as someone a few years older than she is.

I know the post is old, but she had Covid the week before filming RHUGT, and she supposedly had a negative test so she could film. She was still sick anyway, and was taking a million vitamins and supplements thinking that those would cure her. She claimed on the show that she couldn't have the vaccine (her doctor told her) because she developes blood clots.

I don't know what the debate is.  I really doubt she's vaccinated.  

Remember?  It was one of the billions of times Dorinda flew off the handle, and she started drunkenly screaming "Oh a unicorn!  A unicorn!  Newspapers said that the unicorns are coming."  It was one of the times, annoyingly, where Dorinda was "right".  (In that Vicki is stupid and crazy.)   Then there was a talking head where Phaedra I think said, "I was under the ASSUMPTION that everyone on this trip was vaccinated?!"

Honestly, one reason I love watching Housewives is to see women past their 20s who are beautiful, glamorous and have fun. 

If you're referring to some of the vulgarity that comes out of both of their mouths, I completely agree. I'd appreciate both ladies being more ladylike in general. But as far still owning that they're sexual and feeling sexy, I applaud them for it. Erika looks like a blonde bombshell to me, and she has the prettiest skin. Brandi still looks like a supermodel imo, even if she is older. Her bone structure is beautiful, and her long legs are gorgeous. You don't have to be a flawless 20-year-old to be sexy. So while I agree that both women should dial it back when it comes to how provocative they can get, I don't see an issue with still seeing themselves as sex kittens per se.

I was very surprised by what Tamra described regarding Denise. Is Denise stupid or was she extremely drunk? How could she think that she could try to woo Tamra like that at BravoCon, and Tamra would not tell anyone else? They cover that during Bravo orientation.

And Denise is very attractive. Certainly she could have pursued someone who had never received a Bravo paycheck, with success.

It’s astonishing to me that Rinna didn’t blow up twitter and Instagram with this.
