You have to give the jury credit for being very kind and unbitter about the CO. I still sense SB is the angriest. Good for Alyssa for saying she respected Hannahs’s game and would still vote for her to win. I have to give props to Julie for pulling off this evening so well. What she does on these live shows is 1000 times harder than people realize, keeping the comps and the conversation going seamlessly on the fly, and with, as she said, people constantly screaming things in her earpiece. NYGirl September 17, 2021 Share September 17, 2021 First of all before the night began I knew it would be Tiffany and then Hannah. I say this every season -- double evictions are anti-climatic and whoever you think will go...goes. I was rooting so hard for Azah to win HOH and make a last ditch effort to turn this whole game around. Put up Ky and X and one of them would be gone. There's her big move! Idiot idiot idiot...that's all I'm going to say. 2 21 Link to comment
leocadia September 17, 2021 Share September 17, 2021 (edited) Azah, blinded by X til the end. Congrats on 4th place! (that's a huge accomplishment in Big Brother). I'd almost rather X or Ky would have won HOH because then I wouldn't have had even a glimmer of hope. KY: There are live feeds. We have seen exactly how little DerF has done for the past three months. (He couldn't even look directly in the camera because he knew what a lie it was as he was saying it.) Please don't try to make us think he's some great mastermind that you are nobly saving. At least X is slightly more honest about wanting to win. Speaking of DerF, he was so sure that he was safe, he giggled his way through the veto comp. It was nice to see how panicked he was in the closing credits. Even though he was never going home, it was good to see him take a little heat. Edited September 17, 2021 by leocadia 20 Link to comment

JayDub1987 September 17, 2021 Share September 17, 2021 (edited) Unless Hannah was Azah's target, Azah is dumber than I thought. Hypothetical (on what she should've done IMO): Put up X and Ky. Let's assume that Ky wins veto (since he did). He obviously has to pull himself down. Replace Ky with The Oaf (I refuse to even call the other guy by his name at this point) Ky votes out Oaf Boy. Hannah (who would've been Azah's proxy vote) votes out X Azah casts a tiebreaker vote and gets X out of the house Hannah would have a reasonable chance at winning the next HoH, and could conceivably keep Azah safe. Now, Azah has virtually no chance unless she manages to somehow pull off another victory in the next PoV. It seems to me that Azah outplayed Azah. She certainly did outdo anyone else. If she thinks any of those guys are going to pack her to the Final 2, she's a moron. I think that Azah got so caught up in the idea of having a pawn (which was necessary early in the season when there were many moving parts) that she freaked out when she finally had the power. Oh well, she has no business winning anyway. As always, go X! Edited September 17, 2021 by JayDub1987 Realized an Error 7 Link to comment

TimWil September 17, 2021 Share September 17, 2021 IMO Julie has always been an embarrassingly inept host and is now inserting her religious beliefs into this season. CBS should, at the very least, put out a statement that they don’t approve of her behavior. So it looks like SB is now the only one of the jury members who, with no more s**ts to give, might somehow end up calling out the agenda aka mission which reduced her, Derek X, Claire and Britini into total stooges. 3 Link to comment

North of Eden September 17, 2021 Share September 17, 2021 (edited) It's so frustrating watching everything continually go X's way. His win will be like shooting fish in a barrel when you are competing against geldings. Why is it that year after year one player is surrounded by people that basically escort them to the confetti? Azah in the last shot looks like someone who realizes they just threw away what little game they had. Was praying for Chaddah to win HOH or Veto and end X's cake walk but no.... I'd like to call for an end to Double Eviction episodes. In theory they should be awesome but 9 times out of 10 its always the person who survived the first eviction that goes home. What fun or suspense is that? The Cookout is on the same level as Nakomis "six finger plan" commonly known as the Backdoor. Something that has long reaching ramifications on the game...good or bad depending on how you feel. The Backdoor has forever ruined any suspense on eviction night and The Cookout has all but ensured another one can never form again because now that people are aware of such a thing can form they are going to be looking for it and making sure they aren't going to be a Claire and get played as an unwitting pawn. Jury is giving politically correct answers now (except Sarah Beth...Lord love her for highlighting Ky is a lying liar who gilded the lily with his lies) but I have a feeling once they watch the actual tapes there is going to be a lot of blood boiling, hurt feelings and shattered relationships. The boring segment of Ky talking nonsense is a harbinger of what is to come as with no drama it will be all filler. Ky must not like his family very much if he is willing to give up $750,000 so he can sit next to X and loose. I imagine his family is down on their knees praying Ky will take Big D or Azah to the end. Lastly Azah was making me want to jump out of my skin when Tiffany was making her pitch to her. I find people who just lay there like a bump on a log, giving disinterested non-commital answers infuriating and that was Azah to a T right there. There's fan theory that it was supposed to be a triple eviction like last year but when they realized that if they did that than the Cookout wouldn't get their Final 6 moment so they split it into two double eviction over two weeks. I believe the original schedule had last week's episode as a 2 hour episode. Considering how hard the show is leaning into this being a historical moment for the show, it makes sense. 9 minutes ago, coconutcookie said: This season is a testament to how unracist most Americans are. I suspect Azah was simply shell-shocked by her success, and temporarily blinded by the possibilities: This was the first time Azah had won ANY kind of comp - and given past (non-)performance, Azah had to seriously consider the possibility this might be her ONLY win this season. Faced with what might be her sole opportunity to pad her game resume to any degree, Azah felt compelled to try pulling some fancy shit - like, say, BDing a comp beast like Ky. Given the compressed time frame Azah had to make her choices, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the notion of Ky winning PoV and taking X off the Block never occurred to her. 3 Link to comment
