All the hugging and kissing each other was over the top.  They were probably happy this season is over.  Some of them can’t stand one another.

Eh, one of the worse seasons finally over.  RHONY needs to regroup with a larger cast - and go back to a show about the wealthy, Upper East Side, Hamptons.  Get rid of Leah and Eboni.  There's a difference between having discussions about race, politics, religion - vs forcing it week after week.

I was legit scared for LuAnn before she answered the question as Eboni but I thought she did a great job, her impersonation however… Yikes. 
I don’t hate Leah as much as everyone, but why did they choose her as the last one to speak? The producers for real don’t know how to predict viewer’s favorites, they clearly think she’s the future of this franchise.
A lot of you are right, Eboni is cool without Leah.

If Sonya cleaning her dog’s ass is one of the “juicy” tidbits we’ll get to see on a very “special” episode then thanks but no thanks. That’s also a very good indication that they clearly didn’t have anything else to show.

Agree. I believe Lu, Ramona and Sonja are friends in real life but Eboni, Leah and Bershan were just brought in for diversity and to cause drama they thought we would find entertaining. They thought wrong IMO.

Yes to all this, and I think the producers also wanted to add a bit of gravitas to the show in light of current events. But no one watches the Real Housewives to be enlightened (I don't think). Mostly we want to see just how entitled Ramona can get, how delusional Sonya is and how grandiose the Countess will be.

Bethenny thought Leah would be a great addition to the show.  She was wrong 100%.  The girl was bat so crazy the first season, the voice of reason the second season.  She brings nothing to the show.  Get her off.

We’ve been watching Ramona and Lu for 13 years.

One aspect that I really enjoyed, back in the earlier seasons, was observing them with their children.

This show has changed so much.

Surprisingly I enjoyed it. Yes the pastie party was over the top and I could have done without it, but for the most part it was fun. I loved the identity swaps, I thought it was funny and Luanne and Eboni especially did really great. Everyone took it in good fun, which is what this cast of Housewives is known for (fight tooth and nail and then make up and move on). I only wish more of the season had been as funny as this episode, but I’m glad it ended on a good note.

Definitely need a larger cast. I don’t even mind people outside the UES/Hamptons set. We’ve had (early) Bethany and Alex and Carole and each brought something. (Whether people liked it or not is a different story!) But it would be nice to get some actual housewives. Was Jules the last one? And eboni was much more likable just cutting loose than she’d been all season. They’ve had meaningful discussions (surprisingly) about race on RHOBH so it’s not the discussions themselves that turn people off. But it was eboni’s entire story apart from the B roll of her search for her father. And that was hard to invest in because we didn’t know or care about her yet.

I like to think Andy saw the disaster of this season and will do something to redeem it like a secretly filmed reunion that will come soon.

Worst season finale ever. Screaming topless banshees acting like middle aged girls gone wild. Ramona is just so annoying now and not funny. I’m so tired of her schtick. Sonja is tiresome also. Eboni…why won’t her father meet her? I almost want her back next season so we can find that out and meet her half sisters. Nothing like a little family drama. I just don’t have any feelings one way or another about Leah. I can take or leave her…there’s just really nothing interesting about her and her life. LuAnn is kind of boring now too. If they don’t shake this show up a little and fire most of the cast, then I might bail on this franchise. I feel like I’m wasting my time watching it.

An awful finale to top off an awful season. 
Leah said she was sick of talking about Harry. Because she wanted to talk about Leah.  And she got to get one more quick speech in about the last year and all the issues she is so woke about. 
The topless scene was extremely embarrassing. They really took it there. I don’t care how good your 40, 50, 60 year old fake tits look, I don’t want to see them!
The making fun of each other went on for far too long. I think I may have smiled slightly at Eboni as the Countess. Leah and Ramona aren’t capable of doing a funny impersonation because they can’t stop being themselves long enough to pull it off.

Bershan added nothing to this episode and that is a shame, I don't think she had any chemistry with any of the ladies.  I noticed her orange sweatsuit, it was the same one Karen of Potomac wore!

I wonder if Ramona got extra money because her house was used for almost every episode this season, maybe a cleaning deposit?

The most desperate Ramona Moment was when dressed as Leah, mid drift tire hanging out along with side boob she awkwardly flirts with the "the help" asking if he knows who she is then preens and asks if he likes what he sees because she has side boob, see The Help ignores and pours her drink.

Next season will be better if only because the HW's might be able to take a trip, have a party, (lord knows Ramona has to have her 50 best girl friends birthday party), etc...I mean it has to be better, right?

I slept through most of the episode and woke up when they were dancing around at the end. Went back to sleep. In all fairness this was probably a big challenge to film this show in NYC during the pandemic. What could they do? If it hadn't been for Ramona and her Hamptons house there wouldn't have been a show. The producers should be grateful that she offered up her home and that it was large enough to accommodate the entire cast. None of the rest of the cast even have a place large enough to host a party. Well maybe Luann's Hamptons house but it is not large enough for overnight sleeping arrangements for all 5 of the housewives. Eboni grew on me this season and if the show returns next year I would like to see her come back. No way do I want to Leah return. I think Sonja needs a time out like Dorinda. She should be told to get help with her drinking and her delusional behavior and then maybe she can return in a year.

I am so sad with what this franchise turned into.  It used to be my favorite Housewives show for years.  Not anymore.  Now I don't have a favorite.  I was already down to NY and BH.  I'm only watching BH to see Erika fall. Judging by the number of posts here, a lot of people feel the same way about NY.  I remember in the past when there would be pages of posts the day after the episode.  Now not even a full page.

For some reason, Ebony’s Father and Mother didn’t want her to know.  She’s now probing, and the Father isn’t responding.  She should NOT have done this on National tv.  It is PRIVATE.

It's here, the final episode of the season, along with the updates of each cast member in freeze frames.  Earlier in the episode, we are mercifully spared LuAnn's singing (well, even the one word she sang on her way down the steps was cringe-worthy), and Eboni, dressed as and talking as LuAnn, says she is no Barbra Streisand, but people still will pay to see her because LuAnn is a triple threat and can sing, dance and act.  Eboni plays it appropriately delusional, and LuAnn seems pleased that she has been compared to Barbra Streisand.

As for the rest of the updates, Sonya is starting her own cabaret slash burlesque show because bringing back burlesque is the next Century 21, I guess.  Eboni's subplot of finding her father is wrapped up in a few lines, mercifully.  Leah's conversion to Judaism continues, but there's no mention of her book.  And Ramona has become a real-estate...salesperson?  What is that?  I'd love to see Ramona showing some properties and defending her use of the term 'master bedroom.'

The finale has LuAnn dancing on a table, too, because, well, it's what a triple threat does.  

Production really screwed this season up.  Making Ramona and LuAnn white-privilege examples constantly just wasn't fascinating because it wasn't organic.  Leah is no Bethenny, by a long shot, and Eboni just doesn't fit.  It's been painful to watch, honestly.  I get what they were trying to show (again and again), and maybe history will view it differently, but it all just seems too much, too late, and too forced.  

The show should bring back the original cast members for the next season, if there is a next season.  That would be worthwhile.  And please, dear Lord, get rid of the forced fun and love and uncontrollable laughter.  There's still a little more to get out of Ramona, LuAnn and Sonya, I'm sure.

Honestly. The women all have enviable bodies, and good for them, but I’ve never thought of showing my boobs to my friends, or wanting to see theirs, let alone touch them. Did Ramona actually lick Sonja’s boob?  Maybe I’m a prude, but that whole scene felt forced. They didn’t seem to really want to do what they were doing. It was like a desperate one-upping contest. So uncomfortable to watch. 
 

There has to be other ways to be interesting, entertaining, and fun to watch without endless dick talk and getting screechy naked.  This whole franchise has turned into the female  “Ouch, My Balls!”

This was at least a much better episode and Eboni's LuAnn impersonation was great.  It was also nice to see her having fun.

Imagine how different this season would've felt if we just saw Eboni having fun.  

Have we ever seen Bershawn wearing a hat like Sonja did?  At first I got offended thinking it looked too much like a pimp hat.

(Wet Ass Pussy) and not using a derogatory term for people of Italian heritage.   Since all discussion above has been around clarifying what she said, we are allowing the term to remain in the posts.  Let's discontinue any references to that slur from this point forward as it is hate speech and therefore not allowed on Primetimer.
