And Whoopi acknowledged the fact that she didn't address the actual topic when she moved on to Sara, too. I really appreciated Joy's fire today in response to the DeSantis stuff. She's definitely been more herself these past two days. I enjoyed the little flashback to Abby in the video they made a few Halloween's ago imitating Stephen King moments. I would've liked more time with Stephen King also. I don't mind Kristen Bell, although her husband bugs me a little. They don't really bother me to the same degree as they do others though, I guess. In order to get things back on topic, Goldberg took a passive-aggressive dig at her co-host, reminding her of the real topic at hand. “Okay, I’m going to go back to the original question, which was originally about schools,” Goldberg said, clarifying before asking Sara Haines about the issue. “This isn’t about anything other than masks on kids in schools.” 7 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/121120-the-view-week-of-822021/page/3/#findComment-6930901

Can someone tell me why ABC felt the need to consider Gov Cuomo's scandal as 'breaking news' ? It's only breaking news to those in NY - in the other forty-nine states we have our own governors with their own scandals. I could see if he was the President or running for the Presidency this year; then it would be national news. But a governor caught up in sexual misconduct in his own office is for his constituents - not the rest of the country. 12 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/121120-the-view-week-of-822021/page/3/#findComment-6930980

The day she told Joy it was her job to listen to her bitch was the real Meghan. Vanderboom August 4, 2021 Share August 4, 2021 Come on, Joy. "But what about Republicans?" is not a good look in response to the Cuomo revelations. Meghan, the queen of the partisan pivot, finally has a legitimate criticism against a leading Democrat and turns to nursing home accusations. Is she allergic to staying on topic? I agree with her about Chris Cuomo, especially since he helped draft some of Andrew Cuomo's responses, but that wasn't the question asked. 8 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/121120-the-view-week-of-822021/page/3/#findComment-6932171
2JEWELL August 4, 2021 Share August 4, 2021 MeAgain couldn’t even sit in on the Mary Trump interview (that she was there to promote a book for) because “there are no good Trumps” and they need to leave her family “the fuck alone”. I’m supposed to believe that she would damn straight be talking about possible wrong doings of one of her family members? Does she really believe this crap? Does she really believe we believe her? 17 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/121120-the-view-week-of-822021/page/3/#findComment-6932179
tableau vivant August 4, 2021 Share August 4, 2021 Every day, Meghan adds a new member to her family. On Monday, Clay Aiken was 'her brother' and today, Janice Dean was 'her sister'. I guess she doesn't like the real siblings she already has, otherwise she wouldn't be adding more to the family every other day. 10 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/121120-the-view-week-of-822021/page/3/#findComment-6932183

I understand her frustration. However if someone is guilty of wrongdoing as the allegations against Cuomo suggest then they need to be held accountable. But yes it would nice if both parties had the same standards. 20 minutes ago, 2JEWELL said: MeAgain couldn’t even sit in on the Mary Trump interview (that she was there to promote a book for) because “there are no good Trumps” and they need to leave her family “the fuck alone”. If she was given the opportunity to do an interview with Don Jr or Ivanka she would jump at it. And she would not do any gotcha questions. 29 minutes ago, Vanderboom said: Meghan, the queen of the partisan pivot, finally has a legitimate criticism against a leading Democrat and turns to nursing home accusations. She wants to paint him as a murderer and not just a harasser. 8 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/121120-the-view-week-of-822021/page/3/#findComment-6932214
