Yeah, going off on that rant was beyond ridiculous. Bitch can't leave fast enough for me.

Just needed to post this gif as time is running out, and I enjoy it so much. Can you even imagine being this person: the whole package, the stupid headband, the snarly screeching and the 1950s dress that would only look good on Audrey Hepburn.

I’m sooo looking forward to having them in a studio again so they can have a real conversation instead of the boring Q and A format in use for the last 1.25 yrs.

That is the worst!! Other shows did a much better job virtually and didn't have to pass out a daily script.

I think they might have been back in the studio even for two or three days a week (without an audience) if Meghan was in NY but she wasn't going back just for the show.

If that was true that was just one more way Meghan got her way.

I think she is doing image rehab.  She has picked a cause to polish her image, and this is it.

I think so too.  I said awhile back she would run for office.

How did a discussion about the protests in Cuba turn into another chance for Me-again to rant about Democrats socialism and communism. I noticed that she made sure to vent her venom at Bernie Sanders.

Yeah, going off on that rant was beyond ridiculous. Bitch can't leave fast enough for me.

She said Bernie Sanders is the leader of the Democratic party and then immediately caught herself and said something like a faction of it or whatever the word was she used.    She is hellbent on portraying every Democratic politician as a socialist whether it is true or not.   But yet she gets furious when someone points out the offensive things her party does.

A little over two more weeks and then we can say Meghan who?

What is with those white spots in the corner of Meg’s eyes?

They are supposed to be a makeup trick to make your eyes look more "open".  To me they look like oddly placed white dots that just draw attention to puffy eyes.

One time makeup put yellow dots in the corners of Sunny's eyes, but I spent the whole show wondering if she had chased one of her hens into a pine forest at the height of pollen season right before the show, rushed to wipe off her face, but missed two spots.

As far as I’m concerned they might as well have gone on vacation early.  This week has been a bore.

I said a few weeks ago, they have all run out of gas. Now they are struggling to reach the finish line (end of July) before they all take a much needed hiatus. It shows every day  - neither the cast wants to be there every morning at 11 am, and neither do we, the viewers.

Hey View folks, the majority of your audience does not live in NYC. I live on the other coast and couldn’t care less about candidates running for mayor of New York.

I live in Canada & couldn't care less about candidates running for mayor of New York.  Do different parties each run one candidate as they do for state and federal elections?  Here, individuals run for mayor and council.

So on a recent show (Mon?) they were slamming Richard Branson for his space venture and he’s on today?  Awkward!

Today Sunny has the white spots in the corners of her eyes as well as Meghan.

Sara is misinformed about the voter law issues. For one thing there are states where mail in ballots are sent to everyone and there is no fraud. It’s not a problem.  And Meg is wrong about voter ID. It is a problem when gun permits are acceptable but student IDs are not.  Tightening requirements is voter suppression.

No, there are often multiple candidates; the number just depends on who decides to run. NYC did ranked-choice voting for I think the first time this election, so that could potentially be why the mayoral candidates are getting coverage on The View.

There are multiple candidates in the primaries leading up to the mayoral election.  The democrats did use ranked-choice voting for the first time.  The democrat's had approx ten candidates running, and Eric Adams just clinched the nomination.  There were only two nominees in the republican primary, Curtis Sliwa got the republican nomination.  In the main race in November there will be other candidates but the parties do choose one candidate per office.

Re: not accepting student IDs for voting. Not all states deny student IDs for voting, but some do, and that may have something to do with the state requirements for acceptable IDs. Whatever IDs are allowed for voting should meet similar requirements to validate that the holder is the same person who registered for voting. There are some IDs that are intended for "internal" use by the organization that issued them and don't validate identity outside of that organization. Depending on the school, not all student IDs may include much supporting information. while some gun permits might have that info. Having consistent requirements across states for which IDs are acceptable would be a big help here.

I like JLC. She's a sweetheart, but thanking Meghan for her all her years of service? She already thinks she's military!

I wish the guests wouldn't do this - and almost all of them do to some degree or another - but if they're going to do this it would be nice if MM bought a clue about how it's possible to be courteous, even nice, to people you disagree with politically.  It's not hard.

When they were talking about their best friends Meghan once again found a way to say she is one of the few ideologically conservative women in liberal spaces.  I swear not a day goes by that she doesn't mention her political identification.

She mentioned her bestie SE Cupp a few times in her response. Said how she looks up to her, and that they share the same political ideologies, etc.  I wonder if she's hinting that Cupp will be replacing her or should be replacing her ?  I said earlier Cupp would be a rather interesting woman to cohost once McCain leaves.

If it is not already a done deal, then MeAgain is positioning her for the gig.

JLC just rox plain and simple.  I was kind of bummed of the beginning of the show, with all the bummer news.  But you can't help but be cheery when JLC is around.  She just exudes happiness.  I'm SO glad they did another H'ween!  That was the very first horror movie that spawned all others Elm Street etc. None of those would be, if it wernt for JLC.

Yeah, I still love JLC, but it's clear she is not a regular viewer. Most people who slobber over McCain probably aren't and only know her by her family name. My only thought at the end when JLC was talking about the viewers was, "Speak for yourself, lady, we will not miss her!"

I know it's mean, but seeing McCain's sad face the past couple of days with all the wind taken out of her sails has been so sweet. She loved exerting power over the show and against the other women, and I'm happy as can be that she has none any longer.

NO NO NO to SE Cupps, I noticed that also, she injected her into the conversation, and i thought, OH-OH!! NO-NO.  Cuppa is as bad as MM as to monopolizing the conversation, although I feel she is a "softer" conservative.  Has anyone ever seen her on Bill Maher, no one else has a chance to talk.  She is a firm NO!!

I have actually, and I don't remember SE being anything like Meghan tbh. She's not someone I've followed closely, but she seems to be less partisan than other conservatives The View has hired. I can't go into everything because of board rules, but another thing unique about her is she is an atheist. I just find her less of a conservative stereotype compared to Meghan, Elisabeth, Candace, etc.

I expect they probably will get a conservative but if they can at least get someone polite enough not to monopolize the conversation or insult the guests I will be happy.
