Meg, you may think things are back to normal because you are vaxxed, but if you bring covid home to your daughter you will finally understand the messaging.

You are correct. She absolutely cannot understand or empathize with things she has not herself experienced.

Since I started wearing a mask almost a year ago when in public I have not had one sniffle. No colds. No flu. Nothing.  There are benefits to wearing a mask even after Covid.

Same here. Add no one has told me to smile since I started masking. I have  accrued an array of cool masks and those are now accessories to me. Not going to stop wearing them.

Exactly I couldn’t count the days I watched my grandchildren when they were continuously sick while attending school.   Moms a teacher of 1st grade runny nose little darlings.   I love Sarah slipping in “conservative “ a couple of times referring to CDC . She is the sound of reason as of late. Always likable and sweet and funny about Ben And Jennifer. . Of course MeeAgain had a picture of her honeymoon when asked about Lopez. I left the room to get coffe when she started on her mask-off lecture and was still droning on when I got back.

I used to have a great smile with a dimple.  You know how people have personal features they like about themselves?  Mine was my dimple.  After many a horrible dental procedures, its gone and my smile is gone.  TMI yes I'm sorry.  But the mask covers all the nastiness.  See brought that back around.  That's what i was trying to get at lol.  Masks.  They aren't just medical hah.  There's your new slogan.

I am with Joy, once I am fully vaccinated, I will always have a mask on me to use while indoors with strangers.

Its just common sense.  To me anyway. Unfortunately its the opposite to my Dad who is steadfast in refusing to get it. Medical reasons he says.  I'm a Fully now but I'll still wear it around him. Scared to death I'll carry something in.

What individuals like The Princess of Arizona seem unable to understand is that normality is a spectrum, not binary.

For example,  I got my first real haircut today in almost a year and a half (I was behind several months on getting one when we first locked down in March 2020).  So yes, that felt like a slice of normality. The old Italian barber I found, who's business had only survived because he owns his building, still had to wear a mask though, albeit in that sort of befuddled under the nose way, but he's been vaccinated for months, so... okay, fine.  But I'm not going to a packed bar anytime soon. Or a music concert.  And despite Hollywood's messaging, I'm skeptical I'll l be back in a theater before Fall, at earliest. What's normal now isn't what was normal in 2019.  I also went to a Mall the other day, actually inside it I mean. It had about half the foot traffic I used to see. But it felt less weird than I'd assumed it would.  Is it old normal?  No.  But maybe it's new normal.

Sara clearly decided at some point in the past few years that trying to be nice to The Princess of Arizona is a mistake.  I mean even her online content seems at many points to be about mocking Meggy. This also isn't the first time I've heard her use specific words to get under Meghan's skin (or have it go over Meghan's head and let the audience hear it).

I think she needed a producer "okay" before she did any of this.  Surely, they're responsible for allowing Sara to break out of her Miss Always Sunshine mode.   'bout time!

Tried going out to eat after I was fully vaccinated. Felt weird. I didn't like it. Still wear my mask when I get haircuts. It has been years since I went to the movies, sporting events or concerts so I won't be doing those things any time soon. I have went to my two local malls but I still won't go to a bigger one a little farther away. I went there on Black Friday 2019 and shortly thereafter got  horribly sick with what a doctor told me was some sort of upper respiratory infection.   I've never been fully convinced it wasn't Covid.

Yeah.  I mean I don’t live to avoid death but I do try not to take unnecessary risks that are easily avoided…like wearing a mask.   Im really not sure what her point was.  And especially with a kid…no unnecessary risks. She’s always so proud of herself thinking she’s really modern and out there unlike the stodgy Dems.  And I’m guessing pres. Biden and vp harris are wearing the masks outside partly to model appropriate behavior…I.e masks are still sometimes necessary.  We spent over a year with a “leader” who modeled the wrong behavior (no masks because they’re stupid and liberal) and look where it got us.  Why does she keep harping on that?

Well of course Meghan thinks the way she lives her life is the best way to live your life.  She is so fucking privileged to think people have been chomping at the bit to get vaccinated so they can go party. I wanted vaccinated so I would not worry about my mother possibly getting reinfected with Covid after spending seven weeks in the hospital.

yes - I wanted to get vaccinated, for a lot of reasons, but mostly because I haven't seen my son since december 2019.  he just got his first shot, so we will be able to travel to see him, but I still will wait until I'm more confident about air travel.

Movies, bars, restaurants, casinos have NOT been on my agenda for the past year.  I used to eat in restaurants at least twice a month, now, its been over a year, and I don't really miss it.

I am so frustrated with Meghan and her "tribe", who continue to tout these untruths, and continue to see Covid-19 as a "red" or "blue" thing.  As you say, diseases are not partisan, and I'm sick and tired of hearing this bullshit from many Republicans, Fox News and their followers.  Meghan referencing how she sees things related to life (or, in this situation, Covid) differently than the left just continues this ridiculous narrative, and continues to prove that Meghan really has nothing else in her life other than politics.  For that, I am sad for her.  She seems to not be able to have any conversation about anything without turning it into a political discussion.  I can't imagne her even having a normal discussion about the weather.

I have friends who are the same as Meghan, and trying to discuss this with them is like talking to a wall - they will always see everything as "blue" and "red".  So, when they try to turn everything into a political conversation, I keep changing the subject until we get to something that CANNOT be turned around (like kids - kids are always a good subject to talk about, and usually it's neutral territory!)  Until Fox can get their entertainment team (Tucker Carlson, et al) to stop spouting this nonsense, there will be no chance of managing this pandemic.

And, I also agree with Joy - I will always have a mask available from now on - especially for trains, subways, airplanes, etc.  I usually get at least two/three bad colds a year.  I haven't had a cold since sometime back in the fall of 2019.  This could be because I also upped my vitamin/supplement intake since last March (taking extra C, D and a zinc supplement) and I am much more vigilant about hand washing and sanitizing, but I think that doing those things, combined wearing a mask in stores and other crowded public places is working - so, if that's the case, I'll keep on doing it, until I feel comfortable going without a mask.

I love this description!!!  😂😂  But, to be honest - I don't exactly think of a pixie when I think of Meghan - not to be mean, but she's not exactly "pixie" sized.  I actually think more of Sara as more pixie-like!

But, this did give me a great giggle!!!

I think I'm finally done with this show, that I've watched since Day One.  Between the awkward pauses, panel talk-overs (it's been a YEAR - you'd think they'd learn how to work remotely by now) plus Whoopie's failure to, well, moderate, but mostly MeAgain and the misinformation (one might call it Fake News) she spreads on a daily basis.  My blood pressure is high enough already.  I recorded the last few days and just deleted them.

It is when The Princess isn't on, or when you reach for the mute button as soon as she gets going. I wish the ladies wouldn't handle her with kid gloves all the time - and I have a feeling they'd like to be more forceful with her but the executive producer won't let them. I hate that she gets away with everything and never faces any lasting consequences. Honestly, my six-year-old nephew has more maturity and common sense than MM.

I’ve always been a sometimes watcher.  And I admit that I watch it more now because I am waiting for the epic McCain meltdown that is always just around the corner.  But, her rant today about how the left doesn’t live life to the fullest like those Maverick McCains do totally pissed me off. If she’s so big, bad and brave, why hasn’t she been out there mask less? Bucking the science?  Going to restaurants that defied orders?   It’s not that brave to say you are ready to get back to normal after getting the vaccines!  I think I’m done. I guess I’ll have to watch the big take down after it happens

Getting away from Meganutz for a few minutes, I have a few comments on yesterday's show as well as this morning's show...

Yesterday, they talked about the 'viral video' of the man who asked the young girl (18 ? 19? 20?) in a public place if he could 'take the chair' opposite her. She responded he could, and then the little buttercup was frightened when he sat down across from her, and went into her panic mode to get him away from her.

Whoopi and Sunny came down pretty hard on the man, telling 'older men' that 'young females' aren't interested in them, so get away from them!

Mind you, no one knows anything at all about the guy except he politely asked the girl if he could take that seat in a public place, she said yes, and sat across from her and was started polite conversation. That's all we know, before the snowflake went into melt-down. Yet Whoopi and the ladies decided to rip him apart.  Did they ever think he may have been a Jehovah's Witness and was 'witnessing' in that public place, and was going to invite her to his church ?  Or maybe he was a Christian who was going to invite her to a Bible Study group ? Or possibly belonged to another religion and was going to invite her to his gathering ?? Maybe he was a job recruiter, or maybe he was working for a health organization getting young people's opinion on COVID, or the vaccine. No one knew anything about him, except how the buttercup reacted and went into panic mode.

Seriously, the 'hot topic' shouldn't be on the assumption of the intentions of this man, but why a young lady her age is in a public place and doesn't know how to socialize with others, and lives in fear when a stranger approaches her. It's so sad to see this is how our young adults are making their way into adulthood.

KUDOS to Joy Behar, who  -for some reason - is angry that people on social media are allowed to conduct themselves anonymously, or under a fake name, as if social media has only been around for a year or so.  She asks why can't people be their real selves, and not hide behind these fake names on social media ?????   She then ironically defers the conversation back to the moderator Caryn Johnson, who has used the 'stage name' Whoopi Goldberg in public for nearly 40 years, who then does an interview with Stacey Abrams, who has written romance novels sold to the public under the fake name 'Selena Montgomery'.  Good move, Joy!

The only business owners I see complaining (locally) about the shortage of workers are the one who are only willing to pay $2.13/hour for wait staff.  Sorry, no sympathy for you guys.  In addition to the people on unemployment, there are moms who can't work because their kids are home all day, and there are those who don't want to work in the public just yet.

The ones I've seen discussed and shown are fast food places like Dairy Queen, Sonic, McDonald's and the like. I don't feel bad for places that only pay those $2 and $3/hour expecting tips to make up for the rest of what the people who work there take home either. Those kind of jobs should have been made illegal years ago.

On the Joy comment--I don't see the comparison you're making.  Fake names on social media can be a major issue regarding things like stalking, connecting with underage people, scamming people, etc.  Your comparison of having a stage name (that everyone knows about and knows your real name) and having a pen name (again when people can find out who you are) make no sense to me. In both of those instances those people aren't trying to do anything so people don't know who they are but those with fake identities on social media most often are. Totally different in my opinion.  I agreed with Joy regarding social media and identities.

I was going to comment on this yesterday but didn't because I didn't know the situation. However, I will piggyback off your comment. I watch and enjoy Tiktok. A big part of Tiktok is people creating scenarios or recreating scenarios that have been previously-made. I have seen a handful of Tiktok videos similar to this girl's video. (Just the day before, I had seen one in which the girl was sitting on a bus, a man asked to sit by her and proceeded with flirtatious small-talk, while the girl was uncomfortable with her eyes darting from the man to her camera.) Tiktokers make these videos for comments, likes and follows. I don't know what the situation is with the video that was made by the girl that was featured on The View, but I did go onto her Tiktok account and, a couple of days after her controversial video, she posted a video thanking everyone for 30,000 follows. I expect Meghan and Sara to understand how Tiktok works, but I can understand them being wary to offer a counterargument because then it becomes a case in which you didn't believe the woman.

Why is it 'creepy when a dude invades your space' ? Why has socialization become so fearful with this generation of snowflakes ?

He didn't have a chance to explain or introduce himself, as she quickly went into panic mode and asked him to leave. You can hear the whole audio which she shared - he didn't get far. And when he asked her for the seat, he came across very politely. When she told him to leave, he did.

Sad to say EVERYONE jumped to assumptions about this scenario, especially the hosts. It's sad to see this buttercup generation has such a sinister look on society, and lives in fear -  not trust.
