My initial thoughts from the sneak peek episode:

Jovi and Yara: Not sure if it's the fact they are drinking that she is in a bad mood or the pregnancy.  But seriously of course you are not home. This is Vegas, not Ukraine. Yeah the diner is run down (actually I wonder if it's some landmark?). Stop your bitching lady.  Why didn't you all just go to the bloody courthouse in New Orleans?

Brandon and Julia: Betty playing with the dogs is not going to make you likable. Or cutting Ron's hair. I wonder if it's TLC who is feeding the lines to the cast about the 90 days being there to get to know eachother or the cast members actually believe that crap. We all know that that the 90 days is to get a wedding ready.

Stephanie and Harris: HAHAHAHAHA the look on Harris' face after Stephanie goes through his phone and questioning his relationship with his wife (it's his wife right? not just some baby mama) is priceless. Like what the hell have I gotten myself into and this lady is wackos.  Dude why do you think your cousin Ryan got the hell out of dodge?  Not all the watches, flip flops and clothes in the world can make anyone want to stay with Stephanie. Stephanie is a controlling sex tourist. Plus a drunk. Plus on drugs.

Yes, Peggy Sue's Diner is a landmark.  Did they not even go IN?????

Also . . . why on earth - in the middle of a pandemic and in a hurry - did they fly to LA and drive to LV?  It's cheaper to fly directly to LV from NO, and faster, and doesn't involve a drive of several hundred miles in a car where one of the five people can't stand the other four.

This was all kinds of weird to me.  I really wanted them to go inside.  I guess Yara would have not spoken English with her friend on the phone so that was faked or a re-enactment. Jovi's mom must have been on a different flight.   I was wondering if they did not invite stepdaddy or if he was back at his job.    Being an east coast person, I enjoyed the brief glimpses of scenery we got.   Jovi says he does stuff at the last minute so he probably made plane reservations at the last moment and probably couldn't get seats for everyone on the same flight to LV or maybe flights to LA were cheaper, but then there's the extra expense of the car rental.

I  suspect it is a lot of both.  She is probably still annoyed about the night before, but she is first trimester which is probably keeping her tired plus maybe a bit of morning sickness.

So not only did she steal Rebecca's mantra of  "my 27 year old fiance"  she is again stealing from Rebecca and echoing the fear that her new boyfriend Harris is gong to turn out to have the same flaws her ex did.

I believe this was filmed before the pandemic actually became serious.

Even so, WHY fly to LA and then drive to LV?????  Don't most of us (especially those who purport to be in a hurry) fly direct and avoid long drives upon arrival????

More to the point:  Why am I trying to find logic in the behavior of any of these people?  LOL.

I agree.  A courthouse wedding would have given her the small wedding with no fun that she wants.

Yara's been in a perpetual bad mood because Jovi piled on his friends after she allowed Mom Jovi to see them marry in Las Vegas.  Since she arrived, she has insisted that he can't have guests because none of her family could attend.  She says that he makes her feel less important than his friends.

Yara is so right.  Jovi makes everything about him.

NOLA Jovi seems to be Vacation Jovi + Friends.  Yara said it herself: "That's how everything work with Jovi.  You let him to take one bite and he will eat all of your cake."  Both she and Jovi are so self-absorbed and self-centered.

I wouldn’t want a 3 hour drive from LA to Vegas early in the day, after a 3 hour flight from NOLA. Jovi maybe would have some sort of hangover from the night before, Yara may still be a little sore from her fall, not have slept well, is exhausted and not feeling well, and she has 6 hours of Jovi and his friends, who barely interact with her. The diner looked cool, but dated.

Don’t remember if Papa Brandon was wearing a cape while Mother Brandon was trimming his hair in the poodle cut or whatever. Brandon is 27 and should be certain if he wants to get married. Not wait out the 90 days.

Steph, you can’t just find an insta replacement for coconut boy. Neither of the two men are for sale. Harris does have 3 kinds and possibly a wife. He is going to walk away from that? Go home, you have had your fun, maybe learned a couple of lessons. Maybe deal with the drinking and why you choose these sorts of dudes.

The preview didn't have Mike and Natalie. That's all I tuned in for. Ugh.

I believe Jovi/Yara was filmed in April. During pandemic but before masks were mainstream.  I bet they flew to LA because they could fly direct . One plane, one set of droplets and germs. But then only responsible people would think that way wouldn't they? I hope she didn't get Covid during pregnancy.

Hats off to Harris' ability to climb up and down that tree. I am ashamed to admit I watched that keenly. Naw I'm not ashamed.

Southwest has one non-stop from NO to LAX daily (and one non-stop return).

They have the same number of non-stops directly to LV.

OMG Stephanie is so strange, she is obviously on something and she’s a drinker too.  She likes to be in control of her men yet she relies on them to keep her upright, she can barely walk and they talk such nonsense back and forth both Ryan & Harris.  She can’t even marry Harris if he is already married, so where is the 90 day plan?  Maybe he never married his babies mama?

The diner looking and feeling rundown is part of its thing. It's meant to have that kitschy, been here since the beginning of time feel. There's been talk of updating it, but people keep throwing a fit. It would lose its charm. We love it, but I can see why it wouldn't hold the same appeal for everyone.

I think they had business in LV but the show didn't want to film it because it would clash with the storyline they are creating. They like to pretend that they don't have anything going on outside of what we see.

I suppose that we’ll see Natalie and Mike tonight. I’m dying to see what he’ll do to keep her from leaving, if he truly wants her to stay. I’m also curious if she’ll ever reference her Orthodox Christian religion; wasn’t she soooo religious last year?

Yara and her whining would drive me nuts.  That woman stays in a bad mood.

Julia wants to get married ASAP.  Good for her.  I hope she gets her green card and bounce.

According to Judge Judy, Mike broke off the engagement, so Natalie gets to keep the ring.

Well this show gets shorter each week!  I can't believe Hazel is whatever and fast forward as soon as I see her face!

Stephanie is either three sheets to the wind or high on something so I'm pretty fast through her scenes.

Rebecca is a fool going on four times now.  Surely if I had three failed marriages I wouldn't be marrying a 27 year old from another country who can't work and I'm frying chicken 60 hours a week????

I do feel sorry for Frenchy.  I think Andrew's a dog!

Amira and Andrew - good for her for not boarding the flight. He has shown her exactly who he is and with the Universe conspiring to give her the hint, she came to her senses. Her dream guy would have helped her in any way he could. He lounged at the resort in Mexico. His conversations and texts were abusive. Maybe she dodged a bullet or maybe they will reconnect later down the line.

Hazel and Tarik - Hazel, your parents most likely suspected that you have an attraction to girls. Tarik is being a bit of a step-up guy - to make you happy. It was nice of his friends to throw a bachelorette party in Covid times. Even a female stripper - to make you happy. His friends want to get to know you and spend time with you. Consider yourself lucky.

Rebecca and Zied - a dude should know his trouser size. He can look up the US equivalent online. Buy a couple of pairs from Target and return what does not fit. Some stores will let you try things on but put a 24 hour hold on the item before it goes back on the shelf. Of course your dress is too small. You had plenty of time to find one that fits. Plus a halter dress? Not one with ladylike sleeves? All you had to do was go to a nice department store in Atlanta to find a cocktail dress. One that you can re-wear. Or have re-styled. For a fourth ceremony, a nice dress or suit and some flowers. I can see his sister being upset that he is marrying a woman who has been thrice married. The odds are not good.

Stephanie and Harris - time to take the typewriter erase knob and change the name. Do you seriously feel that your export of fiancé’s cousin is a good option? He has three kids with someone else and you have no idea if he is feeding you a pack of lies. You are rich and can provide him, his baby mama and kids with a better life. So he pretends to leave her for a while and collect the bucks from you.  Some common sense would serve you well. A 27 year old with 0 kids that you know about, or one with 3. You don’t need a psychic. See how it plays out. Maybe find someone a little older, like late 30s to mid 40s. Not all spouses are for sale. Tucking a snack in to the underwear seemed mom-like and creepy. The $100 bill also seemed inappropriate. Go home.

Brandon and Julia - Early Covid sucks. You can have a small wedding and then a church wedding when things improve. Brandon’s parents did make some sense. Betty also seemed helpful. Don’t offer your dated gown that will not fit her. Plan something small for now. Brandon, you don’t lead your fiancé along for 90 days until you decide you want to marry. She is a far better prize than you deserve.

Jovi and Yara - Yara is right in that if she wasn’t pregnant, she’d go back home. Jovi is immature and is me-me-me. Maybe they all could not get a direct flight to Vegas. Being nauseous, lonely, sore from a fall the previous day, having to put up with hungover Jovi and his friends for all those hours would make anyone feel lonely. Yara seemed to be Jovi’s afterthought. His priority is her and not his friends. Just arriving in Vegas and it is bar time? Have a nap for a bit and then a small dinner. Maybe consider Yara for a bit. Unless there are changes, Yara and Jovi will divorce fairly quickly.

Natalie and Mike - guess Covid led to bad camera footage. Mats looked like a weird shade of copper or bronze in Tamara’s car. Nats was polite to Uncle Beau and that it was nice to meet him but she would not be contacting him. Why would she? Mike was a royal jerk. Sure, he bought her a plane ticket to a Europe. Hope she has a friend who can help her get home. Stupid and senseless and probably producer driven shenanigans for Tamara needing the actual credit card. Felt badly for Nats. Loony does not equal Mike being a jerk and canceling the wedding a few days before the visa expires.

I feel bad for Yara. I was not one of those women who sailed through my pregnancies with that beautiful glow. Hyperemsis with all 3 and by the end of each one I'd lost half my hair, was swollen so much that I could barely swallow, and had skin that Crisco would've been proud of*. Even in the early weeks before the hyperemsis reared its ugly head I was exhausted and in pain. I couldn't imagine having to be entertaining or sociable for my fiance's friends. We took our babymoon to Croatia where all I had to do was lie back on the beach of Hvar and eat ice cream for 2 weeks. That's all I had energy for.

I don't blame Zied for the pants. My husband has no idea what size he is. The only time he's ever been clothes shopping was once when, on  his way to work, he spilled something on him. His way was to duck into Walmart, grab a punch of pants, and try them all on until he could button something. His mother and sister shopped for him and then I did.

With the way Rebecca's acting I wish Zied would wear a clown suit. I fully support whatever he shows up in.

Stephanie is a sex tourist and her sections make me feel secondhand embarrassment. My teenage son hollered at the screen and told her to stay home and get an escort next time, that it's cheaper.

Brandon can fuck off at any time. I hate myself any time I agree with his parents.

* ETA: a picture in my second pregnancy. The top and bottom pix were taken 6 months apart. My the time I gave birth (placenta ruptured right after that one of me in the wheelchair was taken) I was so swollen that I couldn't eat because I couldn't swallow. I don't even look like the same person. Friends were coming into my room and then turning and leaving because they didn't recognize me. Yara's a whiner and doesn't seem to be having complications, but I still try to give pregnant women a wide berth (not to be confused with a wide girth, lol). Also, I just can't stand NonJovi so...

The producers must have put out a casting call to find the most awful, inconsiderate, creepy men they could get.  (Except Zied, I think he legitimately seems bewildered by most of this and Rebecca is a mystery to him and besides I like him a lot.)

That being said, these women are a little off too.  I am loathe to admit, but I felt pangs of sympathy for Natalie.  Her pain seems real.  I hope she realizes one day that she is so much better off without him; Mike is certainly no prize.  Same for Amira.  I get underlying anger issues with Andrew and and Brandon.  Andrew’s sudden turn on Amira was alarming and I was relieved she didn’t get on the plane.  I loved Natalie, when Mike asked for the ring back, just said no.  Nope. Not gonna happen.  And although she graciously and warmly hugged Uncle Beau good-bye, she said “no. I’m not going to keep in touch with you”.  She did everything to Mike but flip him off, and he would have deserved that too.  Not one of these men, except as I previously mentioned, possibly Zied, is worth what these women are putting themselves through to marry any one of these guys.

In the midst of an historic pandemic, these women (except for Yara, who wants to avoid a large shindig like the plague, no pun intended), cannot grasp that a big flashy wedding is not gonna happen.  I get the younger women may want a fancier ceremony, but thrice-wed and divorced Rebecca?  Put on your best jeans and t-shirt and head to the courthouse and keep moving.  Same for Julia, pouting and screaming about the  “dream wedding”.  I was really team Betty tonight, she was the most rational voice I heard.

The whole dream wedding thing is crazy in general. Most of us got married at the courthouse and then planned the "real" wedding at leisure. We got the visa requirements taken care of in a timely manner yet still got to have the nice ceremony, big wedding cake, beautiful dress, etc. Nobody cared that we were technically already married, they realized that we had to because of the visa stuff, and going through the gourthouse first in no way took away from the "dream wedding" we eventually got.

Rebecca is delusional. I like her and yet I'm still feeling bad for Zied.

My guess is that the Mike/Natalie scripted drama will end with: Mike wants the ring back so he can propose to Natalie.

Why would Natalie want to keep the ring that, according to her, will remind her of the pain Mike inflicted on her? Why would Tamara and Natalie have to turn back to get the credit card? Mike could reserve and pay for the hotel room by phone, there is no need for a physical card. None of it makes sense, it's all just scripted to create drama and interest.

I miss the early days when the show seemed somewhat real.

How old is Brandon? And WHY are his parents brokering a meeting around a table about what Julia and Brandon should do now?  FFS Brandon do something for yourself. Anything!

Poor Yara put her on the strip not some off strip hotel. She should be in a soaking tub with a strip view watching the Bellagio fountains.

Mike wants his ring back ? HAHAHAHAhahaha he just spent whatever cost it took on a 1 way ticket to Paris . Who cares at this point about the ring ? I call elaborate fraud w producers.  The ring demand was over the top.

Natalie may not have a cc or it may have been full. I travel for work and many hotels ask for a credit card to imprint and keep on file for incidentals, regardless of how the initial reservation was paid for. I actually have a credit card that I only use for such purpose so that no hold goes on my bank account. I spent 6 nights at the Swissotel in Boston and they "held" $200 per night. That money was released after I checked out but it was still a PITA. When I was a travel writer my company paid for the accommodations but I still had to present a card upon check in. It didn't have to be the same card.

Well, she WAS crying over not knowing how to get home. Maybe that's one of the reasons she was upset-she had no money for continual travel. Or maybe she was hoping that her mom, a friend, a producer, etc would take some pity on her and use their card to purchase a rail or bus ticket back to Kyiv. A third party could purchase a mobile ticket for a train or bus online. Or maybe she did have a lot of cash and was planning on using that. If you get a sympathetic hotel clerk, and you're only spending one night, you can sometimes get them to take a cash deposit instead of a credit card.

I side eye most of what happens on this show. That whole scene was one of the few that I actually bought, though, because it does happen. The only thing that didn't make sense to me was why Tamara, after seeing the scene at Mike's, didn't offer to let her stay with her. Or that her Ukrainian friend who lives nearby wouldn't be an option. They could've done it off camera if they didn't want to be filmed.

Hell, I'd have been crabby and exhausted around NonJovi even if I weren't pregnant.

I wish more women would talk about not enjoying pregnancy. Considering the stereotype of the healthy, glowing earth mother stuff we see and hear about, admitting to not enjoying it almost feels shameful. It's not, though.

She didn't even get the chance to rest, did she? Long drive from LA and straight to the casino floor.

I missed the last 30 mins, so here are just my thoughts on what I saw.......

Stephanie/Harris----He is no dummy. As a migrant worker, sort of tied down with a baby mama and 3 kids, he doesn't get as many shots to meet the horny, rich (by Belize standards) women at the resorts. He worked it well....even his excuse about the pic on his facebook. I have a feeling that baby mama, if she is not all on board with this plan, will somehow blow this up (post more pics, get Steph's # from Ryan and blow up her phone)--or try to. Thinking along the lines of the side chick with Florian in Darcy and Stacey. Stephanie is a drunken, pill addled sex tourist and the way she treated both of those men was sickening to watch. Side note: on insta, she apparently had a Q&A, and wrote somethign like, "Many of you say you recognize me from Harvard...."ummm, no, just no. No one is saying that. She apparently took a one day course there for a cert? Sorry lady, that does not make you a Harvard woman, lol.

Natalie/Mike---her pain seems, very, very real. I cheered when she said that to Uncle Beau because it was very, very appropriate and set boundaries without being rude. Kudos to him too, he was polite and seemed sad to see her go. The friend Tamara as well just seemed so caught in the middle and uncomfortable, but the fact that she was willing to help Natalie tells me that Nats is probably a good person. Maybe a little looney, but if she was a total beeyotch, no one would have lifted a finger and Uncle Beau would have been flipping her off with one hand, chugging a beer with teh other. Cheered when she told Mike she would block him and at the same time wished him luck in finding an American girl to make him happy. As someone else mentioned, early days of Covid lockdown, people were in a total state of panic and I can't imagine holding it together that well if I was dumped basically at the alter and had to deal with all that she did. Now, in the couples thread:

Spoiler

someone posted that they know Uncle Beau and he said they are married, but separated. She lives in Seattle. If this is true...maybe they married just so she wasn't here illegally until she could get a flight directly home? or until the season aired? If it was just a paperwork marriage for those reasons, I would think once immigration sees this episode, it will be clear that this isn't a real marriage and she would not get her green card. Also, if true I am disappointed she would go back to him.....

Amira---those texts were frightening adn good for you for not getting on that plane. I think we had a little hint of what a manipulative douche Andrew is after we saw him twisting her words when they discussed kids and then flat out lying to his mother when he gave her his version. She dodged a bullet big time and as for that ring, uh, let him fly his lazy ass over to France to get it.  I would block his ass and not look back.

Andrew is gross and WOW did Amira dodge a bullet.  Yikes.

When Stephanie told Hairrr-usss that she packed some snacks for him, "for (his) tummy" I cringed for a solid five minutes.  Good lord he's not 3.  I hope she didn't pack him some gummy bears and a Capri Sun.  The whole "Here let me give you some money, all I have are $100 bills..." was so ... insulting?  Is that the word I want?  It was demeaning and screamed of "I'm so desperate that I use money to buy people's affections especially people who don't have money".  She's just as gross as Andrew.  Different gross, but still gross.

Mike'n'Nat... I'd bet if there was a normal "tell all/nothing", Shawn would ask him, "So Michael... tell us... what HAPPENED?!?!" And Michael would sit there, slouched down in his chair, head resting on his hand, staring at the floor, shaking his head, and shrugging his shoulders.  Not a single word.  Shawn might ask a second time, but would still get the same radio silence and then stare at the camera and say "Okay, I guess Michael doesn't want to talk about it, so....let's go to Brandon and Julia! So... can you guys tell us why your wedding plans seemed so rushed?"

Per the credit card issue:  I once tried to reserve and pay for a hotel room from home, for my then fiance, who was coming in from Isle Royale, and for some reason I was unable to do so.  It was something about me not being there in person or something like that, I am sorry but I don't remember the details.  So the story with the hotel credit card issue rang a bit true with me.  Having said that, I really wanted the neighbor to spring for the room - why go back to face Mike AGAIN???

Natalie can keep the ring but if it is an family heirloom just give it back.  Why would you want the reminder?

Rebecca is such a party pooper.  This is your FOURTH wedding, figure it out yourself.

Yara, I would be crying, too.  Jovi is a jerk as are his friends.  I have flown into Vegas and it is NOT such a long drive to get anywhere!

Stephanie:  It is not funny anymore to see her drugged and drunk.  Block Ryan from your phone and stop talking about him all the time.  Who Harris hugged three weeks ago is not your concern.  I think you were banging Ryan three weeks ago, no?

Exactly....I love how she only thinks about herself. SHE has to ask and dig around because she needs to make sure Harris is TRULY in love and with her for the right reasons.....but Harris, he shouldn't be concerned that just two DAYS ago she was banging his cousin who she was "engaged" to?

Why would Rebecca buy a wedding dress that didn't fit? Maybe it was a dress from one of her other weddings when she was skinnier. She's miserable she can't have a wedding her way and Zied doesn't give one shit.

Natalie having to go back to Mike's house is so fake. Why are they wasting our time with back and forth BS?

Yara was moody and nasty ever since she stepped off the plane. Before she was pregnant. She hates Jovi and his friends. I want to see her smile, laugh and be sweet. Just once.

Stephanie to Harris: Here's some money for snacks. Hands him a $100 bill.

Harris: Is this real? It looks fake.

I died.

What, like that's weird?

Also-

Rebecca: "I have no control in my life right now bc my ring disappeared, coronavirus, my dress won't zip up..."

Ring: "I didn't disappear Bex, u lost me"

Covid: "Lol yup it's just you- no one else"

Dress: "Bitch that's why you should buy the right size"

Now I want a Truly.  Just kidding.

As I stated earlier, I gained weight after buying my wedding dress but I did not wait until THE DAY BEFORE to discover this.  Good Lord, these women and their fantasy princess crap is grating on me.  I am never getting married again but in the off chance my hubby should pass before me and I meet a Getty with a bad cough, my "wedding" will be an officiant signing the license in front of two witnesses at my kitchen table.

Julia, just run.  He is a gaslighting jerk who has been taking lessons from Andrew, who is proving to be the biggest douchebag, ever, on this show and that is saying something.

I was so very fortunate to be able to fast-forward so much of this episode due to not caring at all about some of the participants.

Yara being all miserable and self-pitying by stating that if she wasn't pregnant she would go home.  Well, you know, there are various and many ways to prevent pregnancy so that this sort of this doesn't happen... Especially as she had previously been pregnant, one would think she might look into this.  I think that having a baby is very much a part of her plan even if staying with Jovi isn't a part of her plan (child support, residency, etc.).

Many posters were wondering why Tamara didn't just host Natalie, pay for a hotel room, etc.  I, on the other hand, think Tamara should not have to spend one cent on these crazies and am surprised she even agreed to drive Natalie to the airport.  I certainly wouldn't want to be in the car for two hours with overly dramatic Natalie as my only company.  Hopefully TLC reimburses Tamara for her time.  I just had to laugh at Mike when he asked for the ring-has he not been paying attention to the season?  Natalie worked HARD to get that ring (her precious) and no way would he get it back short of biting it off of her finger (this is a reference to Golum biting Frodo's finger to get the precious back [Lord of the Rings]-NOT a wish for direct violence in this show).  I also hated that Mike asked for a hug.  Just no.  That's what people do and then can delude themselves that they are actually a nice person.  Just no.  Hate it on the Bachelor/Bachelorette (hey, I just broke your heart but give me a hug so I can feel better), hate it here.

Have never cared about Andrew/Amira but just LOVED his gall in asking for the ring back (hey, don't want to get into logistics, but...).  When she was looking at the ring I was all 'that's so not real as that many diamonds and the large blue sapphire would be way more expensive than what he could afford working at a daycare.' I don't really feel sorry for Amira as Andrew has shown her every step of the way exactly who he was-but her desire to be in the U.S. was way more important to her than the red flags.

And Stephanie?  No wonder she goes to Belize.  She bought four days with Harris for $100- no way would she get that kind of bargain in the U.S.  Even though I'm snarking, my heart went to Harris as she just showed him that she could buy him and is not invested in who he really is as a person.  Oh, and Stephanie?  We ALL know that you didn't pay anywhere close to $3000 for that watch, so just stop.

Rebecca is so very, very selfish.  Her wedding, her tiredness, etc.  If she's tired of working over 60 hours a week to support them (or to pay back all of her debts), then the sooner you and Zied get married, the sooner he'll be able to work.  Let Zied wear what he wants to the wedding as it's his first.  Oh, and don't get all entitled and snotty to the Target employee who is just trying to work and earn money.  As Zied stated, once she gets "so much angry" there is nothing he can do.  And, she seems to be so much angry a lot.  What a beautiful location they have for a wedding-she should just enjoy it instead of looking for problems.  But then, she wouldn't be able to play the "poor pitiful me-nobody understands how much I suffer" role.
