Kyle shared this to her Instagram. Her inner mean girl is showing.

Wow....that is just so low it is beneath contempt.

And, why??  Because Kyle played a bitch and invited almost every other former BH housewife to her party, except LVP?  Was Joyce invited?  What about the other one - Carlton? And Yolanda....guess she's too busy enjoying her life on her farm.

Kyle doesn't usually bother me as much as she does most everyone else here, but this is just plain bitchy, mean girl behavior.

But even if that is all true - that still doesn't mean we're seeing an authentic version of Denise. At this point, the only thing I think I can trust about the persona that Denise is presenting is that she's a devoted mother - and that's mostly because of the actions she took before she came on the show. But everything else about her feels pretty inauthentic, to me. Your mileage may vary, etc.

I guess I don't see any "persona" that she is presenting other than being a good mom. Her history demontrates that she is a good mom. (Eloise as example) She has been pretty up front about the shit show around Charlie and the prostitutes etc.  I don't see her hiding any aspects of her life.

Kyle, Rinna, Dorit and Erika. I get a strong sense that they are hiding fairly large pieces of their lives and are afraid of exposure. I believe that their lives hold hidden secrets that they are afraid of coming to the surface. Focusing on Denise keeps these secrets in the background. That is just my opinion based on what I read.

This is exactly right. All of the other women besides Sutton and Garcelle are hiding so many secrets and are the ones playing a part. Denise is in fact the most honest one.

I enjoyed our little peek into the TV business with Garcelle's meeting with the bonkers writer-director.

I can't believe Denise is having yet another pep talk for Aaron about the same damn thing -- don't react, keep your mouth shut.  He doesn't seem to be a quick learner.  And she puts forth the same thing again about how she's willing to talk through whatever the ladies' problem with her is, yada yada "be there all night for anyone who wants to", except the last two times she claimed there wasn't a problem she left to avoid talking about it on camera.  (The whole thing is silly in the first place.)

Everyone is bringing the fashion this episode.  Dorit chose something unique as usual but at least it looks good on her.  Loved Garcelle's gown, Erika always looks so sleek and put together -- loved her necklace.  Peekay for once looked not-sweaty and had nice clothes on.  Sutton was again wearing something unfortunate although I can't recall anything except the mis-matched heels.

I was a little disappointed in Eileen's look -- granted she didn't have a choice on the mousy-brown hair color, but she was always the one who looked so fresh and pretty and with no evidence of having "work" done.  Today she looked a little bit worked-on.  Time waits for no one.

Kathi Hilton and Brandi both had extremely overdone and little bit lopsided looking features.  Both Adrienne and Paul always looked over-worked, so no surprise there.  Did the blonde who came in with Brandi have a 5 o'clock shadow?

Rinna vs. Camille - I think Rinna has met her match and she doesn't like it one bit.

Food Porn!!  Those two huge salmon fillets made my mouth water.  The sushi looked incredible.

Previews of next episode - oof!  Kim looks terrible.  Like she's unwell.

Please ftlog, no more Camille. She brings nothing to this show. Such a dour expression all the time and that carefully modulated voice, plus how tacky she still uses Kelsey’s last name like she was some big star. I think the Mean Girls line, “she doesn’t even go here” fits well.

I did think it was b.s. that Camille announced after her wedding that she was going to continue using Grammer "because of her kids".  But I did notice that her twitter account showed her name as "Camille Mayer" so I guess maybe she's changed her mind on that.

I am always happy when housewives can move past a troubled relationship and forgive - way to go Kyle and Camille. Sucks Lisa, Teddy and Dorit are stuck in the past.

Fun to see all the past Housewives.  I truly miss Kyle and LV though💔

I wonder this, too, TurtlePower. And quite honestly, I think that is completely understandable. I know Denise said something earlier about one of the girls not liking the soft-core Instagram shot that Denise posted of Aaron, which is why she pulled it down. And if she said, "you know, after last year, my daughters told me that this stuff was coming back to them and I don't want them to be further embarrassed," then I think that the other women actually would understand it. Instead, she's dancing around it plus production clearly thinks she's lying because they have shown more than once the conversation she had with Sami (where, in her telling, Sami's expresses concern and in the footage from the video, Sami seems to find it humorous)....

You know what ? Your post made me think that Denise "uses" the excuse of her kids, but, in reality, it's Aaron who is pissed [ETA : to me, he seems border abusive]... not her kids (pure speculation here, but, for me, it fits the narrative better !)

I think we're talking past each other. I didn't say that she was "hiding aspects of her life."  I said she was playing a role that to me, made her seem inauthentic. One doesn't have to be hiding anything to play a role, they just need to be playing a role.

And once again, what the other woman are or are not doing is immaterial to how I feel about Denise. The other women could all be hiding secret lives as Mother Superior at the convent or strippers or anywhere in between and that wouldn't impact my view of Denise feeling inauthentic.

I didn't recognize Eileen. I know her hairstyle was for a role, but looked awful. I recognized her voice, and I kept staring at her to try to see if it was Eileen and not some different Eileen.  I think I would have worn a wig in a more flattering color and style to Kyle's party.

She could have used some of Dorit's blinged out hair clips (randomly placed and way too many of them ala Dorit) to keep her hair back out of her face.  I was not fond of the top of Eileen's dress, it gave the illusion that it was a high waist dress instead of an off the shoulder neckline.  Other than that, I really like her and she is flawlessly aging!

I don't care for Aaron at all. So over his BS and condescending attitude to the other housewives. He has no busness teling them to drop the conversation. As Nene would say he needs to stay out of women business. It never a good look with the husbands try to get in on the act.

I feel like Lisa Rinna brought her soap opera training of having a storyline go on and on to this show and it's suffered ever since. I really think it would be so much better if they got rid of her. Yes, she drives story, and I'm sure the producers like that, but when it's the same story over and over again, it's incredibly tedious. (And next week we get her obnoxious children again. Great!) Get rid of Erika and Teddi, too, because they don't add anything.

I'm conflicted about Lisa Rinna.  There is a lot about her I really like (I know I'm going against the grain).  I like that she is the hustler she proclaims to be.  She's made a lot of things work in a tough town and in a tough business.  She seems to be a very hard worker who actually gets things done.

I also really like that she's unapologetic about who she is.  She admits that she likes the fame, attention, and money without apology.  And, I like that she aims for honesty for both herself and the others, i.e. "own it".  I do believe she tries to practice this for the most part.

Where I lose with Rinna is that I do think she has hustled a little too hard on the show from the beginning.  I feel she is often playing a role more than anything in order to stay relevant and therefore employed.  On the flip side, I can't begrudge her too much for this, though.  A job is a job.

I also don't like how she handled Denise - a friend for many years.  Maybe they weren't as close as I thought because if they were, she should have taken Denise aside and tried to figure things out a long time ago. And...it would have been nice if she gave her some pointers prior to the show and talked about how they could maintain their friendship while filming. Instead, it was Denise who initiated a meeting to salvage the situation and the friendship.  Unfortunately, it was too late. I feel Lisa hasn't been a good friend to Denise at all, and that bums me out more than anything about Lisa R.

I won't even bother looking online because I don't even think my parents ever had sexy time.

Seriously, yes maybe they could have waited till the kids had left the party to get to the racy stuff but I bet those kids have heard of if not seen some sort of naughty stuff online so I am sure they have heard the word threesome before so it is not like Denise's kids were unaware that things like exist.  I don't condone it, just knowing what kids see these days can be shocking...I saw the movie "Thirteen," it was the scariest movie I ever saw.

The scariest part is it was co-written by the actress who played the friend, and was based on her life. 😟

I agree with all of this and wanted to add something about Erika.  Erika seems disappointed in Denise for Denise not being the person Erika fantasized her to be.  Denise is more than her acting credits, but Erika sees her as a Bond Girl, Wild Thing, Playboy Centerfold, insert sexual character here.  Erika liked even loved Denise last year when she was talking about the size of Aaron's penis and happy endings because that was confirmation in Erika's eyes that Denise was the sum of her movie roles.  This is all on Erika, and bitch needs to shut up and move on at this point.  In Erika's mind, Denise was supposed to high five her for participating in a threesome instead of asking her politely to quiet it down while the kids were nearby.  Again, not Denise's fault she did not behave the way Erika wanted her to behave.   And really, Erika should know better with her Erika Jayne alter ego.  We all know Erika Jayne doesn't show up for an event at Tom's law firm, but Erika Girardi.  She dons a persona for the stage no different than Denise

Loooooove this post so much. I want to put a ring on it.

Do you Jextella?  I think she pushes others to "own it" - and I see it as her way to promote drama.  I  don't think she "owns it" when it comes to herself - the example I would use was when she was telling someone that Kim Richards was at "death's door" and that Kyle enabled her and then claimed not to remember saying it.

I do believe it. I don't think she's always successful, though. And, there are limits, e.g. whatever dirt Kim has on Harry.  Lisa doesn't show all her cards, thats for sure.  Then again, I think most don't - especially in Beverly Hills. As to the Kim Richards moment, I recall it and I do believe she didn't remember.

I think Lisa tries to walk a tightrope with what she says.  She intentionally stirs up drama for the show, but then is also careful not to say mean things. Her problem is that she gets so wound up sometimes that she blurts things out without thinking - as with the Kim situation.  Lisa seems to be a very disciplined and controlled person in how she presents herself, and its just not sustainable at all times.  There are cracks for sure.

Aaron annoys me. Denise pretty clearly loves his alpha Male-ness but I would have the exact same reaction as Erika to it. Honey, I don't need you to explain any one thing at all ever.

I hear ya!  He seems as dense as a box of hair and he seems like he drinks a lot and loses his temper...just a vibe I get.  I actually think Denise is a strong individual and I mostly like her but I am surprised she lets A-A-ron boss her so much.  I see a glimmer of impatience with her though, too.

I remember when Denise and Rinna had their own reality shows years ago and I enjoyed both of them.  Denise was always with her kids, her mom and dad and lots of dogs. Sweet.  She seemed very close to her parents and I'll bet she deeply misses her mom. Sigh

Kyles bangs are growing on me. What's wrong with bangs, anyway? I had them for years and years and felt forced to grow them out because nobody else was wearing them anymore and I didn't want to look out of style. Now I have to get botox because I don't have bangs to cover my forehead lines and between the eyes lines. Sigh.

Awww BICHON, grow those bangs out and give the finger to anyone that says a damn thing bad about them!  I am an 80's teen and I have grown soooo tired of the "part in the middle...and barrel curls" look.  I tell my nieces this all the time. LOL  I'm not one to talk because although I do not part down the middle(right side part)...yikes on me!  I do not have bangs but would gladly take some like Kyle has when bangs come back.

I wasn’t a huge fan of Camille’s home.  It looked very seventies to me.  Yolanda’s Malibu home was so much better than this, as was Camille’s former Malibu home(s).

I can’t believe Camille is only in her early fifties.  She looks like she’s in her sixties to me.  Not 65, like Kim, but 60 for sure.  The lips and eyebrows are awful.

I’m not sure I need Camille around anymore at this point.  She came in as a pinch hitter last season, and I don’t feel like this show should keep doing that.  Let the season stand on its own.  If it sucks, cast better next year.  I just don’t care that much about someone who’s not in this group has to say about the group (somehow Sutton slides under my radar, because she’s only not a Housewife on a technicality).  Camille has refused to be a Housewife since season two, yet she keeps coming in to give her two cents, like Statler and Waldorf.

”It hurt my feelings when you called me a hypocrite in front of everyone.”  Hallelejuh, Denise, this is the exact thing I have wanted you to say!  This is what gets me to be able to listen to her—when she’s calm and reasonable.  And not cursing every other word.  I knew she could do it. This puts Rinna on the defense, as the one who is cursing and screaming in talking heads.  I wish she had continued this without losing her shit before.  And it really helps that the husband is not there sending mixed messages.

I still don’t understand how Denise shutting down threesome talk and talk of lesbianism once negates all she put out there about big dicks and happy endings all last season.  Denise was the one who told Rinna how much she wants to protect her children after all they’ve been through.  But her tag line this season is about happy endings.  I don’t get it, because it’s inconsistent.  I was so glad Rinna was finally allowed to break the fourth wall, because I was about pulling my hair out of my head that Denise was able to hide behind that for the better part of the season, which would have meant this entire season would have come down to the reunion, when they’re allowed to break the fourth wall, and that would have just made for horrible TV.

Is this some type of 100th episode special or something?  Trotting out Camille, TMCFR, Eileen, Adrienne and Brandi?  And we had to see them pan up Camille’s body before they’d show us her face, like it’s supposed to be some giant shock that she’s there.  When all’s said and done, who cares about a bunch of old housewives?  I’d rather have something substantial happen with current housewives.  That said, I was kind of happy to hear Eileen sort of roll her eyes about Aaron.  There’s not much you can do but roll your eyes at Aaron.  He tells Denise he can hold his own at these parties.  So...Aaron’s definition of holding his own is making everyone extremely uncomfortable?  Good to know.

Dorit’s accent now sounds exactly like my aunt’s, who moved from New York to LA in her thirties.  Is she at all embarrassed about the complete accent transplant, or is she sticking with the “when you’ve travelled the world, you can speak in any accent you want”?

I have had it up to here with everyone on this show being in the biz.  I don’t care about Garcelle’s project, or Eileen’s indie movie, or Broadway, etc.  ’m simple in that I just want to see how rich everyone is.

I'm simple in that I just want to see how rich everyone is.   My sentiments exactly , that is the only reason I started watching this show. LVP showed It best , true Beverly Hills Glamour..
