Avery shouldn't let him off the hook that easily. She's asking direct questions and he's deliberately avoiding all those questions and giving her non-responsive answers.  She should keep asking him "How are you working on it?" "Have you told your ex-wife I want to meet her, yes or no?" "What was her response, i.e. what exact words did she say when you told her I want to meet her?" 

Actually, Avery should just drop Ash and move on, because he's shady and he's bad news.

 

 

Agreed, but she should have squared all this away before she flew across the world, as in, chatted with his ex wife herself beforehand via Skype or Facetime. Its incredibly unbelievable that his ex would be OK or would allow such a choice.  I think he is giving her lip service but just sees her as a fun fling, someone he can sleep with and then happily take her to the airport, and just let it fizzle out from there. These sitiations do happen all the time. Avery made it soooo freaken easy for him - SHE flew to HIM, despite the fact she has a toddler and a job, slept with him on Night #1, all hes gotta do is pick her up from the airport and drop her off. And then - back to the flower shop for a different female. 

Also, this whole "jumping from relationship to relationship" thing gives me a headache, especially when one has young children. Not to mention, for Avery, wanting to raise Ash's son when she seemingly does not have custody of her own oldest child.

One thing I’ve noticed about Lisa’s story line, though, is that they’re not playing up the “she’s poor but sends money overseas” angle with her like they did with Danielle, Nicole and Angela. She doesn’t appear to be squandering money on young foreign dick and neglecting her child. In fact, I have to give her credit for not involving her daughter in this whole filming farce. 

She just lets her 15/16 old help run her social media and be on the receiving end of vitriol from trolls.

Yeah, MK also has a pretty big outlet business going in addition to his TJ Maxx and Marshalls stuff. I suspect he is like other designers who have more upend lines that never would sell at TJ Maxx and a more mass market line for the masses.

I agree neither of them make an effort to look decent; not sure they believe their only lure is a green card. They seem to be delusional enough to believe that the other person actually loves them. BGL speaks of rocking his world and living happily ever after with the love of her life, while nagging and controlling him. It took Mayo Ed seeing Rose’s poverty to have the “maybe she just wants to get to the States” lightbulb go off above his greasy head, while she tolerates his disgusting wish list. That’s what’s so fascinating about them both. They seem to share the delusion that they’re both great catches.

My kids are 8 and 13 and it's not unusual for them to spend the night at Grandma's and to call me 27 times and then to rush at me when I pick them up like I just spent months traveling over on the Santa Maria. And her son is younger. Children as young as Prince don't have great concepts of time. Could've been three days, could've been a few hours, could've been prompted by Granny or Papaw to react like that, or he could just have been really excited to see her and the TV cameras. Or perhaps Rose never stays away from home and that was the first time he'd been separated from her overnight. We don't know.

The delusion may be real.  But they both knew enough to go to poor countries to find a mate.   You don't see barfly BGL or disgusting Ed out and about in the US because I think they KNOW they are gross.  

And I cannot for a nanosecond believe that BGL would be this poorly behaved with a man who looked like Usman from the states.  

I also think there is no way Ed would be making any such demands of Rosemarie if she were in the US.  He would shut up and be happy to be having sex.  Because he knows that he isn't a great catch and that he's never attract someone like Rosemarie naturally.

I'm so uncomfortable with these young kids being exploited like this, the very young ones like Bryson, Jeniffer's daughter, etc.  They aren't even old enough to understand what they're performing for, or to understand who will see them. 

I'm completely disgusted with Ed's attitude towards Rose, even the way he casually threw food on the floor to the chicken, during a meal they obviously spent a lot of time and money to prepare.  Would he have done such a thing at a formal dinner in the U.S, throw down chunks for the dog?  Just terrible manners, no matter where you are!

I really really dislike both Ed and Lisa for their complete disdain for the cultures in which they find themselves.  Their sense of superiority could not be more obvious.

Ed already reminded Rose’s family, looking her father right in the eye, that he is even older than Pa, and he came all the way to their country and he’s JUST there to “date” her.  Everybody there knows they have already spent the night without an escort.  Sleazebag.  He could at least have said that they love each other and he hopes that maybe they can marry.  Just a slap in their faces.

and compared to her siblings, she seems to be the least healthy of the bunch.  Almost like she is not related to them.  I wonder if she has health problems.  In her photos, she looks much healthier.

I vaguely recall RM saying that her mother had passed away. Other than that there has been no mention of her. I believe her father lives relatively close but had to spend the night there because of the torrential rain. Maybe it was because of the language barrier that Ed assumed that "my father is staying here" meant in the same room when he actually meant he's staying "here" overnight

Am I the only one that doesn't think Stephanie is actually bisexual? I get the sense that identifying as bisexual sounded fun but actually being in a same-sex relationship kind of seems to disgust her.

I mean everyone has their own journey and internalized homophobia is a thing, god knows I've gone through it, but I really don't get the sense she is sexually or romantically attracted to women on any level.

I think the problem is that Stephanie is spoiled. She seems to know that she is physically attractive and it seems as if she is used to using her attractiveness (as well as her illness) to obtain things from other people. I believe that Erica was Stephanie's ticket to get on the show.  I have a feeling that the four months they corresponded online, Stephanie was overtly sexual to reel her in.  And now, she is the complete opposite.  Erica has every right to be upset, because that was wrong on so many different levels.

There are definitely lots of compassionate hospice / CNAs in nursing homes, but unfortunately, because of low wages and high patient to staff ratio, its easy to become hardened and indifferent to patient needs. I spent a couple years travelling the country, working in nursing homes on short term contracts (not as a CNA) and honestly, it was very sad seeing the majority of the elderly residents waiting long increments of time to get someone to take them to the restroom, or other basic needs. Many smelled like urine, had bedsores. When I ran to grab a CNA to inform them their resident needed something, I was often met with rolled eyes, to which I started doing things myself for the residents or just stopping by to give them company when I had time.  The CNAs are worked like horses, stepping out to take cigarette breaks when they can, and generally grow a thicker skin. I could see Angela and Lisa as hospice/CNAs. Angela at least has a sense of humor and may be friendlier/entertaining to patients.
