  1. The perk to bringing lots of gifts is that once you have given them all out, you have room in your bags for stuff that you buy on your trip! And you better do the sam for your return home and get your mom, close relatives and friends some fun momentos! It’s just fun and considerate. Oh he needs to get a nice gift for whomever is caring for his dog!
  2. So I went to Big Egg’s fb page to scrounge for his details. On FB, his info shows that he is not originally from San Diego but on one of his web sites, right at the onset of his About section, it says he is a “26 year native of San Diego”. What does that mean, we now have a new definition of native? Fb page also says he went to a high school that I think is in Arkansas? I’m annoyed with his claim to be a native. Plus his go-to pose for his models is squatting down, legs splayed, camera at crotch level. These are not even the hand selected shots that the show producers chose to use. This is consistent across his promo presence online. Douchebag.
  3. I started reading this thread 3 hours ago an I am just now caught up and my iPad is now on 5% battery! So I’m kind of skipping over all the discussions about Erica and Stephanie. As soon as they faced each other at the airport, you could see the look on Stephanie’s face and for whatever reason there was no spark. The rest of it is history I still hate Geoffrey but maybe I’m starting to hate varya too Because she should have asked “so is there anything else you need to tell me?” And apparently now she defends him even though she knows the truth about his current history. Lisa should’ve tried to make a stand to usman’s mother. Tried to say some simple phrases. Brought little American gifts for everyone. Actually, I think all these Americans should bring gifts for every single person, family or friend, they know in the other country.
  4. I also heard Rose keep asking Egg which thing he wanted to eat. Clearly they were all hungry and waiting on him. The situation was uncomfortable and eating might have cut the tension. But she didn’t fill up a plate for him with everything they had. She said “this or that”... as in, not both. I hope the show crew paid for the dinner.
  5. Ed already reminded Rose’s family, looking her father right in the eye, that he is even older than Pa, and he came all the way to their country and he’s JUST there to “date” her. Everybody there knows they have already spent the night without an escort. Sleazebag. He could at least have said that they love each other and he hopes that maybe they can marry. Just a slap in their faces. and compared to her siblings, she seems to be the least healthy of the bunch. Almost like she is not related to them. I wonder if she has health problems. In her photos, she looks much healthier.
  6. After seeing the conditions and lifestyle in Rose’s home and town, I am really curious to know what life was like for last year’s cast member, Juliana, who told us how bad her life was. Could it have been this bad or... basic? Disclaimer: I love that entire Rose’s family came to meet him for dinner and Pa is trying to be kind to him. They all know what is going on and the fact that he said that he was just there to date her is insulting and was painful to watch. I wonder if we could get some backstory episodes for previous cast members (the ones trying to come to the US). The first half being could be about where they started and why they started doing this and the second half of the hour (!) being about where they are now and how they feel about their journey. Not about the Americans!
  7. Ed Is afraid of everything he cannot control, which is everything outside his sheltered, little life in San Diego. I cannot imagine him with a mainstream American woman. He would risk his superiority. Usman seems to be screaming for help as he dotes on Lisa the best he can without destroying himself. The way he holds her hand, palm up, so she can lightly lay her hand atop his like a princess in court arising from her throne... and he wraps his arm around her as if she might tip over and shatter at any moment... can’t wait to meet his mom. She will see thru this game in a heartbeat. You want a wife for your son who will make him happy and joyful and won’t cause him strife... not Lisa.
  8. Ash’s muscular body reminds me of someone who works out a lot but... if he really has Graves’ disease, it does a big number on your body and I am shocked that he could maintain the muscular build unless he’s also using stuff that body builders use... in which case, he really does need to get to an endocrinologist. He’s too young to be juggling his hormones like this without the oversight of a medical pro.
  9. After watching 90 day fiancé secrets and lies yesterday, Ash’s futile attempts at dodging Avery’s interrogation really grossed me out even more. I was glad that she was putting enough energy into listening to him to call him out on his double talk but she never went far enough to force him into saying things yes or no. I am reminded of an old boyfriend of mine who kept some very big secrets from me for years even when I point blank asked him the truth. When I finally found out years later, his excuse was I didn’t wanna make you mad. My response to that was well I’m really mad now. You can never trust people like that ever because their definitions of right and wrong are always skewed in their own favor, not yours. Very very selfish. Avery needs to get out now.
  10. So I am amazed that RM convinced little ed to shave his facial hair in exchange for her shaving her legs. But then in all the interviews, his face is all hairy again. Does that mean they broke up already?
  11. Speaking of Lisa bank rolling Usman... Now I wonder if she’s writing it off as a donation to a third world charity “soldier boys”, the impoverished youth of Nigeria... I imagine a check for $100 a month would mean a lot over there and she might feel like he owes her. She does seem stunningly opinionated, smug and determined to hijack his career. Like the seedy business man in the strip club lifting his shot glass to the dancer on the pole after she shimmies in his face in exchange for a $20 - every afternoon. Yuck.
  12. With little Ed, every time he tells/asks RM “do this” or “do that” and “you like?” So manipulative. I feel like he is building his alibi for when she decides to start talking about how gross he is. He can say, “she said she liked it.” He already said she liked his long hair. Right. Ed is not Fabio! Whatever happened to Fabio?
  13. So this “dabbing” song, which seems to be quite popular, makes me wonder if the hookah instrument that Usman carries with him is for dabbing. I had to google it and up came a bunch of sites for substance abuse and rehab. Does Lisa even know about this dabbing?
  14. It’s too bad these shows are filmed so far in the past. I would love it if the viewers could communicate with the “love seekers”. I would be texting Varya screen shots of Geoffrey with his long time female friend back home where she professes her attraction for him and say, “hey, Vee, ask him about this one!” Has he mentioned this woman to her yet? I think not.
  15. So, some of these actors, unfortunately Americans, make me embarrassed for America. That said, I am mesmerized by the whole premise of finding love over the Internet. I want to duct tape Lisa to a folding chair so she can’t stomp off and force her to hear how horrible she is. I really haven’t seen Usman, or any of his friends, lie, be trashy or show a glimmer of abusiveness. They say Nigeria is the hot spot for international scammers and maybe they are scamming me too. From last season, Mykul told lie on top of lie. Usman, if he’s lying about anything, he is goooooood. I cannot wait to meet the rest of his family.
