That was a different pregnancy.  She was able to get pregnant again and had the baby.

She hasn’t had the baby yet, she’s posting on IG that he is due soon.

That lawyer was stopping by on her way to a costume party, she’s going as one of those Robert Palmer backup dancers.

WTF was that giant doll in GG’s house with the scary face and bloody knife??? Seriously WTF????

Is this cancelled yet?  The more they try to amp up the drama, the more boring they actually get.  And Reza needs to fade into obscurity ASAP.

Everyone on this show needs to grow up.  They’re all examples of how hard work and delay of gratification so that one generation can make life better for the next, can result in the unintended consequences of spoiled, self-aggrandizing adult child babies.

Well said!

I love Mike going to the building project in his $400 t-shirt, looking around, going up exactly one stair, coming down from said stair, and complaining how hard it is without Reza there to do it for him...and he wonders why his parents aren’t confident that he can handle it.  They’re also not confident he can maintain a normal relationship with a woman.  Gee, I wonder why they wouldn’t believe him about that!

This made me laugh, because it's true! Mike's parents were giving me life with their deadpan stares when he was trying to get them to say something positive about Paulina being Persian and Jewish. They don't give a fuck anymore about Mike's flavor of the month.

I must admit, I teared up a bit when everyone was gathered at GG's and she was describing what happened to her. My heart went out to her in that moment when she said she deserved this outcome because of her own karma. Golnessa has grown tremendously as a person; she takes accountability for her past actions and wanted the entire friend group to approach their problem solving strategies differently.

No one is buying you as the victim, Reza. How dare you make this day all about you when you're supposed to be there to support GG after the ordeal she's been through. Quit your whimpering and phony sobbing. Your fat ass is just embarrassed that viewers now know your husband is every bit of the philandering man-ho you are.

Reza is the problem with the group. He is toxic, vindictive, reactive, and does not have one genuine bone in his body. What more will it take for these people to come to that realization and drop him from their lives?

Does Destiney’s sister work in the medical field?  Or was she just wearing scrubs because.  Never know with some of these people.

I guess that's better than Destiney dressed up like a "sexy" porno nurse. WTF?

The Santa Ana's sometimes have a sound and they are a warmer wind. It's a mood.

They are a desert wind so they are hot and very dry.  There are also tiny particles of sand in the wind that you can feel on your face.  You walk outside and BAM, your mouth and eyes are dry, and you go home, and you cry and you want to die.  [Smiths]

I could not believe what I was seeing when I watched the episode where Reza shouted out about MJ's abortions.  We are seeing what happens when two people who fight dirty fight each other and it's not pleasant.  Like the Santa Ana's!

She's trying sooooo hard to keep/make her spot on this train wreck. Trying to be funny, quirky, loyal, die hard friend, savvy business woman, etc... You name it, she's tryin' and it's annoying AF with her fake fur, colored wigs and over the top Elton Johnish sunglasses.

She could have said Iranian.  It's been known as Iran since 1935, so I don't understand the whole "Persian" thing.  Vietnam, Laos and I think Cambodia were called Indochine or Indochina until 1954 but no one calls it that now.https://www.persiansarenotarabs.com/renaming-persia/

Golnessa has grown tremendously as a person; she takes accountability for her past actions and wanted the entire friend group to approach their problem solving strategies differently.

Hmm, I think you may have a more generous view of GG than I do.

I don’t think she felt sorry about her past, I think she felt sorry about what happened to her, (in her mind) as a result of past actions.  She was sucking on that joint pretty hard and she kept getting up when Nema kept telling her to stay down, so I’m not sure she was even taking responsibility for her health after all this happened, even though she wasn’t done trying to get pregnant.

I’m not making a moral statement, but I am only following GG logic—if she thinks her miscarriage is “karma” for her past of abortions, and she thinks her miscarriage was bad, then it logically follows that she thinks that it was wrong that she got multiple abortions in the past.  But she never said she was sorry or that she wanted to repent or do right.

She just kept saying, “this is karma, guys, this is karma” which was just a report to her friends that she felt like she was being punished by some deity.  I don’t see any more maturity there than a 14 year old telling her friends, “you guys, I’m grounded, did you hear me, I’m grounded.  I got caught vaping and now I’m grounded.”  Like, ok, what do you expect your friends to do in that very awkward situation—assure you it’s not karma and that you did nothing wrong?  That’s not taking responsibility for anything; that’s her looking for people to tell her she’s wrong about the karma, and she’s totally alright with the gods IMO.

As many people said upthread, GG probably shared about her abortions this season in the first place, because she knew it was coming out, so she got ahead of it in a way that MJ didn’t.  That may be savvy, but I’m not sure it’s a sign of respect or remorse.

Again, not saying she did anything wrong, but if she thinks she did something wrong, there really are a lot of ways to get through something really personal without putting your friends on the spot to either tell you that you’re alright, or stay silent and look like selfish assholes on camera themselves.

I think if people are going to say that Reza shouldn’t talk about MJ’s abortions on camera (and he shouldn’t), then maybe GG should use discretion as well.  Not everything has to be shared.  Not everyone is going to see youthful decisions the same way.  When I was in Catholic school, our nun mentioned to our class that one of the services the nuns had done was bringing women who approached them who had abortions on a retreat so that the women could name their babies and send, I think, balloons up into the air for them (I guess this was before the environmental stuff).  No one had any judgment about the women as our Sister recounted it, and I think it was kind of a beautiful story.  I think if GG wanted to do something like this, whether Catholic, Muslim, secular, whatever, that would show me that she reflected on her former decisions and was growing from them.  Ideally, she would do it privately, but if it had to be on camera, I still would have respected it more than the path she chose.

Panting to anyone who will listen, “this is karma” when she doesn’t know how those people feel about her decisions or karma puts people on the spot to absolve GG of something for which they can’t absolve, and sympathize with something with which they may not sympathize.  I actually think doing this was a self-centered display, much like the rest of what GG does.  It had a veneer of appearing mature, but when I broke it down, it struck me as really immature.

This GG thing reminds me of the girls and women who have come to me from the time I was a teenager to this day who tell me all the reasons they think they’re pregnant when they don’t want to be, so that I can refute all their reasons and go through the whole song and dance and say, “well, did you have unprotected sex on your fourteenth day?  Oh, it was your tenth day?  What are you worried about?!?  Your period is only six days late?  My period is seven days late and I’m not pregnant—you’re fine!!”  They’re not coming to me because they’re sorry; they’re coming to me so I can tell them—as I always do—“oh, you are so not pregnant, based off what you told me!”  (So far I’ve always been right.  Maybe I missed my calling).  I just don’t see anything mature or grown about these scenarios.  Sometimes I feel like a jerk for entertaining them, especially with the same person more than once.

I imagine that some of GG’s more mature friends, like Nema, Shervin and Sara might have felt uncomfortable if GG approached them about her “karma” in such a pandering way.  Reza will kiss her ass and tell her she’s fabulous because they’re on good terms for these five minutes, and that’s all that matters in his little world; Destiney will always cry and hug you as if life were a passion play, and Mike will spout some words of wisdom and forget about it all because he has to check Instagram, but more thoughtful and deliberate people might resent being put in this position.  And I don’t think that fits into GG’s equation at all.

Yup, like I said warm winds, sound mood. I was born in Santa Ana and grew up in SoCal.

Yeah, neither Reza nor MJ know when to stop. I'm less upset about his abortion comment, because as vile as that was, I could see her revealing something equally private out of anger. It was how mean and cruel he was around the birth drama. He clearly didn't care if she or the bsby lived or died. He never visited and shat on qnd gaslit about all of her issues surrounding the birth.

I cannot stand Destiney. She should've stayed on the People's Couch. I don't get why she gets so much airtime. She's a kiss-ass and a shit stirring liar. Reza and Adam need to go. I've always thought there was something off about Adam and now he has been exposed as the creep he is. HE started all this by being a perv.  I hated when he was looking out the window acting like it had nothing to do with him. Reza is a nasty person. I wonder if he really got that car for his mother or just pretended to so he looks like a nice guy. Didn't work Reza.

Those injections GG and Destiney got looked so painful, especially in the lips.  I’m surprised GG was so excited for pain.  She was so afraid to let the surgeon cut out the stitches for some RA surgery she had a few seasons ago.  I remember it, because she said she was so scared that her vagina was feeling hot, and the male doctor just all deadpan said, “that’s not a place you should be feeling anything right now.”  It’s funny because I think women kinda know what she’s talking about...

I generally can’t stand Tommy anymore and I think he’s an embarrassment, but that line he got off about people no longer hanging out with OJ was pretty funny.

If Mike wants to know what ‘being employed’ looks like, he can look at Nema.  But for some reason he thinks he’s better than Nema.

That montage of MJ and Reza fighting and making up was everything.  The sit-down was pretty good.  It was so funny to hear Reza saying, “do you mind if I wear glasses?” in his wobbly voice.  So...I’m finally getting my answer as to why Reza was mad at MJ—because Destiney said that MJ knew Adam was cheating on Reza.  I don’t know if I would even put that under the umbrella of a “reason.”  It doesn’t make any sense.

MJ owned that conversation because she kept her cool.  This is a new-level MJ.  I’m not sure we’ve seen it before.  Maybe she’s not in love with Reza anymore.  Maybe this is what she’s like when she’s sober.

That passive-aggressive jab MJ got in about Reza having body odor was Advanced Reality Show.  That suggestion will remain in the air forever, simply because the attempt to disprove it draws more attention to the possibility that it’s true.  In The Road To Wigan Pier, George Orwell, who was a socialist, argued that socialism won’t work in England until the middle class are willing to come to terms with the stench of the poor (I don’t know anything about the veracity of these claims, as I wasn’t alive in 1930s England, but my point is that there’s a huge stigma about body odor in the west).  So I was all for MJ suggesting Reza had bad hygiene, because that’s the type of low-ball social politics Reza would have used if he would have thought of it first.

Sam is attending the Daryl Philbin (Office reference) breakup school—he is being a pig so that she will break up with him, and he won’t have to be the bad guy.  That was gross, even for Destiney to endure.

Why would Mike ask if MJ knew about Naked Jenga and inappropriate texts?  Who cares what she knew?  It’s what she said or did.  It’s whether she lied.  It’s not about what she knew.  It’s about whether she was spreading it.  Mike can’t even ask a proper question.  His message was that he wanted to know who he was hanging out with, and he didn’t want to hang out with anyone who wouldn’t come to the group and tell them about these allegations.  But...why would MJ tell the whole group that Ali was spreading info about Reza and Adam?  Wouldn’t that be gossip?  I am so confused.  If MJ would have told the group that Ali had info about Adam cheating on Reza, she be excoriated for rumor-mongering.  Mike just saw an opportunity to jump on a high horse, so he said something high and mighty that sounded good in the moment, but made no sense.  Probably trying to impress Paulina, whom I didn’t even recognize.  She looks unique in braids.

Notice how Adam was conspicuously absent this whole episode?  He has a lot of responsibility to bear here.

GG is so jealous that she’s not Reza’s number one anymore, and I’m here for it!  I guarantee GG wasn’t following doctor’s orders by gorging herself on food and alcohol approximately a week after her surgery, so my sympathy for her is minimal as usual.  She has such a hard-on for MJ that is even less explainable than Reza’s hard-on for her.  I don’t know why.  Who is Reza Farahan to cause everyone to want to do his bidding?

I thought this episode was good.  MJ > Destiney all day!

Sam is so repulsive to me, possibly because some of his mannerisms remind me of an ex. I doubt his uncouth behavior was the result of drug use, though. I'm inclined to believe this was a premeditated plan in conjunction with his sister Sara to embarrass Destiney on screen. The only one who should be embarrassed for acting on national TV is his sorry ass. I need to never see him on my screen again. Do you hear that, Bravo? You can take Destiney along with him.

I'm actually quite surprised MJ admitted her hands were not clean in all of this Adam/Ali/Destiney drama. I'm even more surprised she was able to keep her cool during her rendezvous with Reza. I would have probably raised my voice if I were her and harped on the fact he never once visited her in the hospital or even cared to meet her newborn. What does that say about the depth of their friendship?

I totally called GG's "sharp pains" being the result of overindulging in mac and cheese and alcohol. If you're unwell enough that you require a wheelchair for transport, you have no business boozing like that.

GG also lost me with her treatment of MJ. Reza was every but as guilty for that messy plot digging up Shalom's ex-wife. Why is she directing all her vitriol to MJ alone? Is it because she's the only other OG female in this crew?

Sam really was being repulsive.  I thought the whole scene at the hotel was strange.  She seemed to be running the show, ordering for him and all the waiters talking to her rather than both of them.  I couldn't figure out why they had that large private dining room for just the two of them.  But, thank goodness they did, since Sam was acting the fool.

That was everything! MJ is an eff'd up drama queen but she knows how to bring the shade like nobody else.

So Reza admits his relationship with Adam is hanging on by a thread. How sexually frustrated do you have to be to be a married man and send dick pics and play naked jenga when your spouse is out of town? I guess Reza's was not performing in the bedroom to Adam's satisfaction.  I give them another year at most.

Haven't watched this show in a few years I think, but caught this last episode and was just bringing myself up to speed......MJ married AND a mom, Mike has a new love, Reza's marriage is on the downward spiral, Destiney I think is new to me. GG seems a bit more mature, but still hair trigger  reactive.

It was a wild episode. What I didn't understand was - MJ and Tommy  talking to the lawyer and understanding that Reza pressing charges and order of protection---------and then MJ goes and meets Reza, yes loved her body odor comment------and then goes with them for the country festival? Were the charges dropped? What did I snooze over?

No, the charges are still active. On WWHL (which I pride myself in not usually viewing), Reza told Andy Cohen he got a judge to issue the restraining order for three years against Tommy after footage from Bravo was used as evidence in the case. Moreover, it was revealed that Reza has never met Baby Shams even though he will be turning one next week. He has only seen some photos that were sent to him right after the birth.

I think MJ is smart to have extricated Reza from her life. She has definitely turned a corner and is in protective mommy mode.

See that's what doesn't make sense to me- but then I am not a reality star.

Reza has those charges filed against MJ's hubby and then she spends time with Reza and everyone? I can understand her meeting Reza to clear the air, maybe, but to go and hang out with them all after he has followed through with the charges and legal status with her hubby  (who she really seems to be good with).Ok I guess I will just be puzzled. I am completely pro choice and accidents happen, but how in the world do adult women living in Los Angeles with money for appropriate medical care have multiple abortions. One unplanned pregnancy is understandable but after that, most women I know make sure they are using a reliable form of birth control.

That makes no sense to me either. I wonder how many abortions are just some form of birth control for many women.

I don't think GG is being 100 percent real with her "I'm all kind and calm now. Karma blah blah blah." She's stoned alot and I'm not convinced she can stay away from alcohol and pot while she raises a child for 18 years.

All these people are very strange-granted you have to be to sign on to reality tv. I could never figure out the Reza Adam duo. Reza is so over the top and full of himself and Adam is just a throw pillow. Never had a read on Adam.

Didn't Reza give us some background on him, midwest, father a pastor? (maybe I'm mixing up my stupid tv shows) He didn't seem to fit with the others . . . until this season. What a weird guy, naked jenga, blowing up peoples phones with dic pics and suggestive crap. Plus he reminds me of Paul from 90 Day Fiance who went to the Amazon.

I think his family is from Oklahoma and his dad is retired military (I think).

I was thinking public release of privately-shared health info. I have wondered since this brouhaha was first reported in the media months ago.

My distant relative worked in a rehab facility and stupidly gossiped via email to family that another distant relative had been a patient there, disclosing some of the medical details. The gossip lost the job and was sued by the patient. There was a settlement but I don't know the details.

Of course Reza is not a health professional.

As others have posted, there is no expectation of privacy between two friends.

If you don't want something winding up in the hands of others, DO NOT PUT IT ON PAPER or email or any form of social media. I treat everything in terms of whether I would want it be "discovered" and used in some form of legal proceedings or read by an employer or otherwise used against me.

I can't even conceive of actually emailing or creating a paper trail of some kind to cast members of a reality show in which they have all turned against each other at some point and producing "receipts" is now considered to be an essential part of the drama.

That makes no sense to me either. I wonder how many abortions are just some form of birth control for many women.

My point exactly. I have no moral issues regarding abortion but I do have issues with the stupidity of adult women using it as a form of birth control especially when these are relatively affluent women with access to medical care who would have no problems finding and affording reliable forms of birth control.

An in-law who is in IT told me a long time ago: if you don't want anyone to see it, don't put it online. She was talking about email, but my family tends to be very conservative about anything personal online.

Random fact: I remember reading that abortion was the primary form of birth control in the Soviet Union and other countries, and it wasn't uncommon for women to have what we consider many abortions. I'm sure that's changed.

Don't want to go too off-topic, but amarante - do the rules for slander and libel ever cover situations like MJ's? It seemed to me that Reza was trying to ruin her reputation via a pretty big audience.

Very unlikely for a number of reasons.

MJ is a public figure so there is a higher threshold than for private people.

Truth is an absolute defense for any libel/slander action. I am assuming that the only potentially defamatory statement was that she had TEN abortions. Did she have ten? Did she have more than one or two? Clearly she had more than one abortion.

What are the damages to her reputation? It's not as if she is going to lose income from this or that she is a leading proponent in the Pro-Life movement who has been unmasked.

Cast mates can't sue each other so the issue is moot in terms of a suit against Reza.

FWIW - slander is spoken defamation and libel is when the defamation is published - e.g. written or broadcast or otherwise disseminated in a "firm" type of way. Historically it was assumed that slander would have a limited audience since it was oral versus defamatory statements that are "published" and therefore more widely disseminated as well as lasting more than a spoken word.
In this case, if Reza had merely screamed at MJ at a private party it would be slander (if anything) but since it was recorded and broadcast, it is libel (if anything).
