Everything that Jane Elliot did (her expressions) and said were: Chef’s Kiss!

And the reunion with Lulu was just wonderful! I loved the “Step Monster” call back.

Drew really has transformed into the worst sleaze ball ever. Can he die next?

I continue to lap up all scenes with Lucky and Elizabeth. But Portia’s pretentious “Nurse Baldwin” continues to grate.

As others have stated, I loved the reality check Dante handed to Lulu.

I cackled when the SLS let Willow and the kids leave, undermining Cujo.

Unless Felicia ends up as a recovering patient, I’m not worried about Cyrus coming after her.

UGH. Are we forever going to be stuck with perpetually crying Anna?! I guess Show has forgotten that Dex was former military before he was Mooby’s hired goon. Not some naive fresh faced innocent from Kansas.

If this was Columbo or Murder, She Wrote, Columbo and Jessica would have connected the dots between Sam and Dex’s deaths already! But here? Hand wringing over HOW could this HAPPEN? from the cops.

Huh?

I was expecting Nina and Carly to get into a hardcore fistfight (hoping really).  Where Nina unleashes full on crazy rage and beats the living shit out of Carly.

Am I the only one who wanted to see that?  The inner rage and animus they towards each other has been barely restrained for years.  It’s time.

30s: Sasha, Lulu, Brooklyn, Chase, Dante, Cody, Kristina, Molly, TJ, Willow, Michael

40s: Maxie, Spinelli, Lucky, Liz

Maxie and Spinelli belong with Lulu and Brooklyn. They were all in the same teen scene, and are on the edge of 40. I would put Dante (and by extension Cody) with the Lucky/Liz gen. He’s always played a few years older than Lulu and Maxie.

Molly and TJ are technically still in their 20s, but she grew up with Michael and Kristina, so I would keep them grouped with that generation.

Anna, as police commissioner, you owe it to the citizens of Port Charles to put fucking mobsters in prison.

They are styling Liz's hair like it was when she was a teen/young woman which is making her look younger than usual. Also, I love her sweater today.

Jason, you are allowed to say no when someone asks you to do something that is going to take time and focus away from your grieving son.

Anna, giggle twice if someone is holding your grandchildren hostage and that's why you're crying all the time.

Where is God to smite someone when one needs to be smote? And by someone I mean Sonny.

For the love of my eyeballs, Lucky, FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE SHOWER.

I'd be far more interested in Camp Cooper shenanigans if it was Dante and Cody who had a fling.

I hope the Digitalis Killer does me a favor and jab Spinelli.

Don't international crime bosses have better things to do than to personally stalk their victims? Should they have henchmen to do the dirty work while they use their ill-gotten gains on hookers and blow?

Lulu is really sprinting towards insufferable.  Very impressive for someone who's been comatose for four years.

I was also thoroughly unimpressed with how Laura blew off Martin telling her what Jason and Anna did to him.

Was Sasha ever religious before or was today totally about contrivance?  Also, I'm also not religious but I would like to put in a request for no more torture porn for Sasha.

The ELQ livingroom is back. But it is brown with ugly blue curtains.

They also pulled out the set for the Queen of Angels.

If Sasha was planning on making Seven Fishes for Christmas Eve, it is going to be a long Christmas especially since we didn't have any Thanksgiving.

Sonny doesn't realize that he was talking grandbaby's mama.

Nope, just nope. There was never a hint of BLQ and Dante having anything together way back than.

Anna needs to lean on the detectives who are actually employed by the PCPD to investigate the deaths at GH. Does she even realize yet that Sam and Dex were killed the same way?

I guess I'm alone here. I was more on Lulu's side than BLQ's. Sure, Lulu has missed 4 years, but Brooklyn showed exactly zero grace, empathy, sympathy, remorse or understanding for the fact that for Lulu when she last saw Brooklyn the woman had accepted money to seduce her husband and destroy her marriage relationship (in this case, it's pretty much the same difference.) In the interim, Lulu had been in an explosion, lost four years of her life, and missed out on her kids growing up. Of course, Lulu is going to think the worst of her. Of course, Brooklyn telling her like she doesn't know any better that things have changed is going to ruffle Lulu's feathers.

TBF, BLQ is high on my list of least liked characters and I'm already really liking AH's Lulu, and totally get her POV. I'm biased.

Lulu and Dante were in a committed relationship but they were not married when BLQ tried breaking them up.

And before Lulu went into a coma, both she and BLQ were repeatedly getting into physical fights and were both equally acting childish. Their dynamic has not changed four years later.

How can Jason go find Charlotte and solved who killed Dex, when apparently Sidwell is hanging out in churches finding out about secret pregnancies. Sidwell got his diamonds why can't he go after Holly and leave poor Sasha alone.

Arrr, his jewels!

Cannot believe they repeated the same gag with Cyrus in the church from last year. This is what I mean about these boring crime characters being interchangeable. Get fucked, hacks.

In fact, AL's BLQ and Dante flat out told JMB's Lulu that they never dated and certainly never had sex, despite both families in Bensonhurst trying to push them to be an adorable couple. They just weren't into each other. I saw the clip recently on Social Media.

You're not alone here. Not only did BLQ show zero grace, empathy, remorse, etc. (IIRC she never apologized to Lulu for drugging Dante and trying to have sex with him) she is conveniently forgetting that she was a bitch to Lulu when Lulu signed the divorce papers and Lulu started seeing Dustin. I remember a line from BLQ implying that Lulu was a disloyal wife, giving up on her marriage to a great guy. I can believe that Lulu is surprised BLQ didn't pursue a relationship with Dante while she was in a coma.  I think BLQ is nervous and afraid of Lulu sharing details with Chase about when she tried to break up Lulu and Dante esp. because that could bring to the light this hinted long ago "secret" she wants to keep buried. BLQ feels she has a perfect family life now and she wants to keep it that way.

BLQ keeping secrets is not Lulu's fault.

Not sure.  Don't have a good sense of how long they've been out of school.  TJ would have been about 26 by the time he started as a resident, Molly about 25 by the time she graduated law school.  But it's soap time, so who knows?

Not too long ago Molly and TJ mentioned being together 10 years. They started dating as teenagers - 15 or 16? So mid to late twenties would be canon, if they ever stuck to anything specifically mentioned onscreen.

I think they ramped up Brook Lynn and Lulu's animosity overboard both in 2019 and now. They don't have to get along but they could have been cool but pissy like Ric and Lucky were today, but I guess the lady bird brains were on their periods or something (sarcasm). As I said they should have been pissy but polite and when Lulu knows that they had sex is when they should have ramped it up.

I'm a fan of both characters. I don't think they should get along but it would be nice if it were less cartoonish.

And yes I want Cody/Lulu to have a fling.

She's as religious as anyone else on the show, with the possible exception of Olivia, who, as performative as she can be with all of her prayer hands and crossing, does seem to have genuine beliefs.

Damn a Dante/Cody camp fling would be very juicy.  GH would never go there.  They're stodgy in a weird way you know?  Like they will do "juicy" but only defined in a very old-fashioned way.  A 50 something man sleeping with his nephew's young wife.  It's juicy, but it's also old-fashioned in a funny kind of way when you think about it.  Cody and Dante having gay sex when they were young, but then ending up mostly straight, but hey, maybe they are bi?  They can't go there, they don't have that in them.  It's what Shonda would do on ABC primetime.  GH would never.

I think they've reached the limit of SORAS for Webber boys with the recent Aiden recast. Any older and Liz will start looking like their older sister.

Haha, you pretty much have to ignore their birth order until they hit the precocious kid stage or the teen scene. Josslyn Jacks vaulted ahead of a bunch of kids in birth order.

Add me to the list of being extremely disappointed in Laura for handwaving Anna being in on kidnapping Martin and willing to torture him because of her fucking guilt complex. I really thought Laura would ream Anna a new one and fire her ass.

I swear when Anna wasn't the commissioner and before that stoopid Heinrich story, she could be cold as ice and get shit done-like when hunting down Faison after Robin's rescue or during it. I don't recognize this dishrag. And there's no one on the show to metaphorically slap her and tell her to "snap out of it!" and do her fucking job.

I was really hoping with the NuNuLulu, we wouldn't get the shrew Julie Marie was when she was a mini Cujo Clone. Still, stupid show. Before she dropped into a coma, Emme's Lulu and Amanda's Brookie fought like high school girls, where Chase had to break it up. So it's not as if she went into the coma after that stupid story line where Cujo paid Brookie to drug and rape Dante to break him and Lulu up.

After the shenanigans that Ric pulled with Elizabeth when Alexis threw Mooby's gun into the river, I would have thought she could find another lawyer. Hey! About Martin? While I rolled my eyes at the shots Ric and Lucky exchanged, Ric was mostly decent; and right as regards to Elizabeth staying away from the hospital in case there's another murder/death. Then it can't be laid at her feet.

At least Ric and Lucky didn't resort to punches, though I did snerk at Elizabeth telling them to stop it, as if they were children.

And now we get a name of someone we've never heard of before or seen who could cause problems for Elizabeth? Lazy as fuck hacks.

That said, I'm so enjoying seeing Elizabeth and Lucky in scenes together to try and figure this mystery out.

I love this! Robin! Baby Emma! Patrick! Matt! JJ's LUCKY!!!! And don't judge me, but Luke! And Dante with the shaggy hair! I remember this was the year Show tried to force Mac and Alexis, with Sam and Robin playing Cupid.

I got misty seeing Tyler's Nikolas in there. And Drew as the SORAS'd Michael before Chad morphed into the SLS. And Aaron Refvem as the ADORABLE and my favorite Morgan!!!!

God, I miss Robin, Patrick, and Matt.

What's with Anna saying "Dex refused to press charges against Sonny." If I recall, Dex told Anna about Sonny ordering him to kill Cyrus so they could press charges, but Anna promptly threw the folder in a drawer and told Dex not to do it.

And, if IIRC, despite what she said, Anna didn't know from the beginning that he'd be great -- she more or less threatened him into joining the force so she could get the goods on others, and more or less implied that his life would be miserable if he didn't give in to her wishes. It wasn't as if he suddenly came to her office, starry-eyed, and begged her to let him start training.

And I wish Liz had pointed him toward the towels and the bathroom when Lucky said he needed a shower.

She paid BLQ to break them up and then put more pressure on her when BLQ wasn't getting the desired results. BLQ made the choice to drug and try to rape her childhood friend. Carly never ordered her to rape him. Then BLQ went crying to Edward when her bad choices blew up in her face. There were lots of ways BLQ could have made money that didn't involve harming a guy she claimed was her friend.

In the BLQ-nuLulu interaction, I thought BLQ was a massive hypocrite for being hostile about Lulu bringing up the past to her face. She's the one who recently told husband Chase about Lulu's teenage abortion and Tracy's support, without Tracy or Lulu's knowledge or consent.

Oh, right. But I will never forget how Cujo and Jason laughed at the thought of Jax being raped and that he "cheated" when being held hostage. So I wouldn't have put it past her if she had told her to drug him or do whatever.

Those were very good days, which I seemed to have missed when they originally aired so thank you for sharing.

The Mac & Alexis kiss was pretty good compared to the lack of chemistry we see in so many pairings nowadays.

I thought Cameron's girlfriend was a/a. But it was nice seeing him.

Isaiah is one hot, fun dude.

So aren't Michael and Curtis playing at insider trading by tanking Aurora's shares so that Michael can swoop in and buy the company from under Drew? Because it sure as hell sounds like what they're doing is illegal. Maybe Michael heads to jail for this and shares a cell with Curtis.

Nina is right about one thing, Willow, away from Michael, can maybe finally figure out who she is. But calling Martin and jumping the gun on divorce proceedings is such an awful idea. Listen to Ava and Martin, Nina.

Drew is one creepy motherfucker. Jordan tossing those grossed out looks in his direction was pretty funny. And that's the most expressive she has been since forever.

Carly is . . . Carly. A rabid dog. But she and Nina do have one thing in common, sticking their noses in their children's business.

I LOVED the "Merry Christmas, Mom" and the mother-eldest son hug!!! It's so great to see Wiliam Lipton reprise the role of Cameron! (At least briefly)

I was surprised to see Cam give Lucky a friendly hug. Zero animosity as he introduced Gretchen to "Lucky." (Yes Lucky, while you've missed your bio son's whole life so far, your eldest son who doesn't call you Dad really grew up, too.)

I felt Elizabeth's pain, though, when he said they're spending Christmas with the gf's parents. Still, BHerbst did a great job with Elizabeth's "glow" as she watched her eldest  and Gretchen with her youngest.  It hit me in the feels to see/hear WL and JJ singing "The First Noel" together, while Elizabeth and Aiden watched in quiet adoration as WL/Cam played guitar. Loved seeing Elizabeth happy with her family (minus Jake) for an episode.

Just when you think Drew can't sink any lower, he stalks Willow at a public event and says he'd be happy to come over to Nina's with Scout. Nice of him to decide to take his mourning daughter away from her real family for the holiday, without a thought.

I got perverse pleasure seeing Cam look so happy with his family and new girlfriend, while Joss cried alone in her apartment ('til Trina came home) over the death of the guy she cheated on Cam with and dumped him for. Merry Christmas!

All I can do is shake my head at both Carly and Nina.

I don't know if it's insider trading per se, but I don't think you can lie about earnings to manipulate the stock price, "leaked" preliminary report or not. But then, Michael didn't cared when Carly and Drew definitely committed insider trading, so this is par for the course. As long as he benefits, who cares?

Isaiah is completely wasted on Jordan. He had more chemistry with Willow, and that was no test.

They're pathetic. Though I had to laugh at Carly raging at Jason for Michael not telling her about Drew and Willow. Carly needs to aim that anger at Michael. And of course there's no recognition that a custody fight is the worst thing for the kids. It's all about control—Carly having control.

As for Nina: You love a ticking time bomb, don't you?

The less said about Drew, the better. Willow, just walk away! Gah.

I just looked it up. And I'm sure the writers didn't even take the time to do that. It's known as share or market manipulation, which is illegal. It falls under the category of spreading false information.

So Michael and Curtis are dumbasses. It's information we already had.

I enjoyed today.  The outreach services on the waterfront reminded me of old school GH, it was lovely watching pot and kettle calling each other out over how much Carly should be involved in Michael's business and whether Jason should have ratted on Drew and Willow.

I thought EM and TA were pitch perfect in their scenes, hitting just the right tone, and even the dialogue was well written.  Well done.

For me, the most outstanding aspect of the Nina/Ava/Martin scenes was MW's masterful use of the semi-humorous undertone.  She's always good at that.

I don't know if what Michael's doing with Aurora is technically insider trading or fraud or some other brand of illegal use of communications, but I'm pretty sure it's one of those.  Guess it runs in the family.

My favorite, of course, was watching Liz and Lucky celebrate an impromptu Christmas with her boys.  I fear it may be the most heartwarming Christmas scene we get on GH this year.  Cameron and Lucky singing together reminded me of the Jones boys, although the Frisco and Tony knew how to harmonize.  Hope we get more than the one day of Cameron.  He doesn't really owe anything to Joss, but he's a good enough guy to express his sympathy to her, and I would expect that he'd want to check in on Trina.  Love that he's found himself a cellist who actually seems like a normal person.

Joss's grief bores me. I don't mind her being sad, but blaming herself for Dex's death? Banal and predictable. Anna is wearing the hair shirt for the entire town. We don't need to add Joss. That said, EA and TA did a good job with what they were forced to work with.

I’m sorry but Aiden looks older and older every episode. He looked like a 40 year old in a 90s wig during that final scene.

I wish Lucky and Cam had a more substantial scene, but I’m also fine with BH dominating the limited time they had with WL.

More Sasha/Jason scenes tomorrow. Are they really going there?
