I thought it was the "hang ten" sign... for surfers.

Trying to look gnarly and what not. (idk I'm not a surfer, I don't know the lingo).

Mike's new girl looks like the female version of him - hard, angry and bitchy

Yes.  That's her "look of love"!!!

She's another one that played us.  Down in Miami, flaunting those huge boobs, and drinking.

I'm wondering how Natalie can stay in the U.S., except under the asylum rules for Ukrainians.  From reports Mike never filed for the K-1 visa after the marriage, of course the marriage lasted about 3 minutes.   I'm wondering if the marriage was even legal.

I'm sure Natalie will find some other fool to think she loves them, and try for another visa.

I think you meant her green card because she couldn’t have come over without the visa?

Natalie isn’t allowed to adjust through someone else. Only the person who petitioned her (Mike). The only way she is legally staying is through asylum or something I think called TPS. Or through VAWA

That apartment mike has in Seattle looks like a dorm room. One room studio I guess?

I thought the Sequim land, 25 acres plus, was in the family and I guess I was a little surprised mike is selling. He loves it up there. Interesting.

These "apodments" are being built everywhere around Seattle. This 195-sf studio in a building down the street from me rents for  $1085/ month.

I thought he said something about staying in the apartment during the work week and then going to the family farm on weekends which would make sense due to the lengthy commute.

Hasn't the farm been on and off the market a few times?   I think it was for sale even when Natalie arrived.     Even in today's housing market, a farm can take a long time to sell, and his modular home is only a 2 bed 1 bath, so not that attractive to buyers.

It seems strange that his mother would move to Sequim to live with him if he was planning to sell his home there. Unless she's going to move into the "apodment" with him 🙄

If I were one of the producers on Mike's/Natalie's segments, I would have written this script:

  • Natalie walks into Mike's trailer.
  • Natalie is happy but wary.
  • Natalie spots Trish's collection displayed on shelves.
  • Natalie exclaims, "СВИНЬИ!  These are Trish pigs; I cannot stay."
  • Natalie exits!

She doesn’t have much choice as Josh is lukewarm on her.  She even basically said that she is just one of many beautiful women available to Josh but out of Mike’s league so he will jump at the chance to reconcile.

She probably thinks there are only TWO fish in the sea.

I just finished watching part 1 of The Reunion, and Natalie drives me crazy. She tries so hard to play coy, and she's anything but. As well, Debbie needs to keep her mouth closed while Josh is talking. And I'm unsure why she was even challenging Josh when, if anything, he's been up front with Natalie that he doesn't see them as a couple or being committed to each other. And I don't blame any guy who's not going to start dating a woman who's actively married. My heart went out to Josh because Natalie sounded like an idiot. Telling Josh and audience "I won't divorce for any man," yet Natalie keeps telling the world that she wants a man and babies?

Then get a divorce or go back to mike (poor guy).

When I read most of these posts, they seem to be pro-Mike.  The Mike I remember was no prize.  He expected to be gone for several hours every day ... work that required a long drive to and from.  Dinner should be on the table and Natalie should be glad to have him even enter the house (the trailer?).  He didn't seem to appreciate much about her or try to make her life in Squim comfortable -- let alone enjoyable.  Where are these memories?

And Trish?  EGAD!   It's interesting to see Mike's features and expressions mimic Trish's ... exactly.

The thing is, Mike was Mike. I don't feel like he misrepresented himself to her or trapped her in Squim. He didn't even seem to want to marry her after she threw his ring. She continually hounded him for the ring back, poking around the house looking for it. And let's not forget, Natalie was a grown adult, very intelligent (according to her) with several degrees - far superior to him - and knew what she was getting into. She had a career in Ukraine, and at the age of 34(?) with no children, presumably had money of her own. She had 90 days to call it quits with Mike and go back to her previous life. She wasn't a Rose or a Julianna - young, poor, desperate to find a rich American to feed her family back home. And when she did finally leave him, she went straight for the Single Life. I think she had plans all along to leave him and stay in the U.S. and on TV. I never had a problem with Mike, because I thought he was honest about who he was. She, on the other hand, is another story. IMO.

He has to earn a living though and I think he owns the trailer and the land. He didn't want to move to the city and I don't think that he ever represented himself as a city-dweller. Natalie maybe thought she could live in the country but she didn't realize how much she hated it until she was out there.

This. Mike isn't my type of guy but I think he was always himself and Natalie knew who he was when she came here and agreed to marry him. I always thought she was in it for a green card and I still don't think that she loves him. She was always trying to change him (be a vegetarian; don't drink alcohol; exercise more).

Does she make enough from TLC to pay for the house she was renting in Florida and her other expenses or is Mike still supporting her?  Also if you can’t legally work without a green card how can she be paid by TLC?

I think it’s the editing. During their season, it was decided that Mike and Trish would be the villains (and may well be) and were edited that way. Now it’s Natalie’s turn to be the villain (and she may well be one) and is edited accordingly.

Why can’t we have villains versus villain?

My take?  Natalie is still in love with Mike.  He has been over her forva looong time, and brought his bitchy mom in to live just to double down that she will leave.

I don't think that Natalie was ever in love with Mike. I think Natalie was worried that her time to find an American husband was growing short and she thought Mike was the best she could do. Then she got here and realized how much she really didn't like him and how much she really hated rural life and she decided maybe she could find someone better. So she left. Now she is back having realized that 1) it's hard to find a good partner and 2) Mike is actually a nice guy who helped her mother get out of Ukraine when she needed to. So she is back. But still not in love.
