I had a friend who had a heart attack and died while snorkeling at Grand Cayman. He was traveling with his wife and another couple. The other couple were traveling with just their birth certificates, and they were not permitted to stay behind with the wife and their late friend. The cruise line assigned a crew member to stay with her until her children flew in a day or two later. And the $110 is good for 10 years, so it averages out to only $11 per year. And yet you'd be surprised how many cruisers are resistant to doing this, due to the money, effort and non-necessity of it. Then again, a lot of them don't buy trip insurance either, so go figure. 10 hours ago, Mu Shu said: So, for man arabique, is good him for wear a ring. So massh so beyeoteeful . Kind of departure, since the standard trope is to show any foreign location in as unflattering a light as possible. Dirty, backward, primitive, lacking in modern plumbing amenities. Except Seoul, anyway, world capital of clean anal! Well, it used to be called Stalingrad and it was almost completely destroyed by one of the largest battles in world history in 1942-1943 and then rebuilt. Much of the dirty, backward, old was bombed or shelled out of existence. 6 Link to comment

Lemur November 7, 2019 Share November 7, 2019 Just now, Bryce Lynch said: Yeah, my point is I just consider myself American, though my ancestors were born mostly in Ireland and Germany. Years ago a co-worker of mine took her first international trip. At customs, they asked her what her nationality was and she said Italian and Polish. The customs inspector replied, "Then, why do you have a U.S. Passport?" Native American and American are two different things though. My people may have come over before the US was a nation, but that doesn't mean we're Native American. And I'd never claim to be a "Native Born American" as that has certain connotations in both history and politics. That said, I think I've been behind your co-worker coming back through customs a time or two. I wonder how many times a day they ask that question. 3 Link to comment

Again, my point is I personally think Americans should simply consider themselves Americans, or maybe just humans. 5 Link to comment

Ugh - no she is an abuser I’m always amazed at the positive support and encouragement I see on “soshul meedya” for people like Angela, Nicole and Danielle. It makes me strongly suspect that anything negative is deleted immediately. 2 4 Link to comment
