Sure as Cory makes it official with Taylor and Chyenne has some new dude. Who didn't see that coming? Oh, but it's none of Cory's business. 

Amber and Andrew are so effing boring. Please, no more scenes of them driving through LA. Just give me some sweet Leah scenes instead. 

And that crossover dinner? Cory failed us all when he just ate up the BS Amber was serving. Andrew looked like he wanted to be anywhere else. And. The. Hats. At. The. Dinner. Table. 

So the unfortunately named Vaeda Luma comes into the world. Her addict grandpa misses it, but her tweaker aunt shows up in cat ears. Those poor kids. 

Why was Maci freaking the fuck out about a stutter? It's pretty common in kids who are navigating language. Was she hyping it up for a storyline? Wishing something tragic would give her more attention in a weird Munchausen by Proxy turn? Who knows...

Mackenzie is such a little snob. First she yells at the jail employee for just doing her job. Then she doesn't visit her husband for two weeks, even though she is allowed every day. Not because she's mad at him or wants to teach him a lesson. No, because "it's gross". She still fancies herself above all that shit. I've got news for you, honey. You're no better than any of the other baby mamas up in there. Wake up.

Cheyenne is real immature and Corey is Corey, but between all the depressing addict stuff on this show, I find their pleasant car ride banter endearing. 

Nova was so adorable talking about her baby sister. 

I hate Amber. 

I dont think Maci was necessarily freaking out about the stutter. My daughter walked on the insides of her feet when she started walking,  which is common in children learning to walk. I did take her to a specialist to make sure there was nothing more serious going on. Just because if there was, I would have rather caught it as early as possible than wait for a bigger issue. Seems like that's all it was.

Eh, to me Cheyenne and Cory are both young, single, and have some money, their behavior is pretty "normal" to me. Just hoping they're using birth control, and continue to coparent well for Ryder.

I didn't believe a word of that speech from Cate about not needing Tyler, just don't know what to think about her any more. That 30 days "apart", which I think I read they saw each other all the time, didn't change anything. She's just given birth too, with all the hormonal changes that brings. For heavens sake, get some outpatient help for your issues.

You know this show is scraping the bottom of the barrel when there's an extended segment of nothing but Amber and Matt meandering through L.A. traffic. Seriously, how much more tedious can it get? The only thing of note to happen was the birth of cuter-than-her-name Vaeda, and even that got bogged down in repetitive Butch drama. Actually, maybe that whole traffic scene is a good metaphor for the show in general: we're endlessly stuck spinning our wheels with these people and getting fucking nowhere.

And since I'm here, I'm going to complain again about Mackenzie and her transparent as glass motives. She's going weeks without visiting her husband in jail not because it's "gross" (which, yeah, that's why it's called jail and not the spa) but because she's in this marriage for the TV show, not the man. I think it suits her just fine to go to lunch with friends and the camera crew and talk about how sad she is about the sin while doing the bare minimum to support Ryan. I'm sure she is upset by Ryan's problems since obviously the circumstances are not ideal, but as Ryan's wife she needs to show him some compassion and not retreat from visitations or stick her nose up in the air and dismiss what he's going through as "gross."

I actually rewound the section where the unfortunately named Vaeda Luma's unfortunate name was revealed. I could not believe my eyes. What an un-euphonious, trailer trashy collection of letters. Bet its Tyler's doing.

Why was Maci consulting Dr. Google anyway? Doesn't she have a pediatrician? (I know. Storyline). She has no shame.

I record this and watch in the morning while I'm having my coffee. I started laughing very loudly when I realized that I was watching Amber and Frankenstein bickering while they drove through LA traffic. Someone at MTV has much to answer for.

Amber is horrible in every way but she cleans up well. She really rocks a pair of shades.

Wow, wow, just, wow.  This show was SO BORING!  I can't believe I actually watched Amber's face while Andrew got out of the car to relieve himself in a parking structure.  Really, MTV, that's the best you came up with from your footage?  OMG, I'm considering eliminating this from my dvr for real after last night.  I have no one to blame but myself for that wasted 38 minutes (I don't even bother with Cheyenne's segments).

I fully realize they all prepare little scenarios for their segments in order to keep things interesting, but the whole "Oops Cheyenne dropped her phone and Corey picked it up and discovered some guy's name with emojis" was too fucking contrived even by TM standards.

I really wanted Andrew to take a leak in the parking structure and be accosted by a Seinfeld Mall Cop who pulled him into the security office so we could watch Amber lose her shit in the car because she'd been "working" all day.

They both play games with each other, but they also typically manage to keep it friendly. I do like that they're able to get along for the most part, for the sake of their daughter.

Tyler and Cate: The most depressing birthing ever. Neither of them looked happy or joyous. Nova was the only one that looked or acted happy and excited. These two need help. Cate has some serious depression and Tyler has a lot of pent up anger at his family. He's going to need to cut his father off now. He's helped him enough...Butch is an addict and doesn't really want to stop. Let him go now and concentrate on yourself and your family. Cate looked horrible at the end of her pregnancy...so big and uncomfortable. She should get a breast reduction. And that poor baby's name...Vaeda is bad enough but Luma??? 

Cory and Cheyenne: Cory is a total douchebag. I can't stand this guy and his bullying of Cheyenne to allow his new banging buddy to be around little Ryder. It's been a little tough for you Cory not to be able to show off your mad baby Daddy skills? I'm sure what's her name would not be all that impressed anyway...Cheyenne should seriously stall this as long as possible because I give this relationship less than a year and then she'll move onto greener pastures. He has one helluva an ego...he actually said that the only reason Cheyenne was dating someone new was because of him and what's her name. Their relationship was somehow making Cheyenne feel the need to date some one new. He really thinks he's the shizz...Honestly, I think he's a loser...the only thing he has is his participation in a bunch of awful MTV reality shows. 

Andrew and Amber: How long before Andrew blows up at her? She's pushing this guy to the edge with her whining, complaining, bullying and bitching. What a narcissist she is. She doesn't have any interest in anyone else's problems or life but her own. It's all about Amber and her problems, illness and feelings. And WTF was with Andrew urinating in public parking garage????!!!!!! OMG! That was disgusting...he couldn't go to a gas station and do his business?  What a jerk.

Maci and Taylor:  Maci seems to be using the F bombs a lot lately...not real becoming for a mom of three. Taylor needs to seriously do some man grooming on that scraggly mess of pubic hair on his face. There is no storyline for these two except complaining about Ryan. I really liked her hair at the dinner with Cheyenne and Cory.  I thought she looked nice.  While it did go on for too long, I sort of had a chuckle at them trying to get back to the hotel.  'We'll be there in 15 min' (it's daylight), cut to next scene, it's dark outside and they haven't made it yet.  I relate because anytime I've taken one wrong turn in a city I'm not familiar with, it takes at least an hour to get back to where I took the wrong turn.  And of course the detour always leads me through a rough neighborhood or two.  I am terrible with directions. 

I thought Amber and Cheyenne discussed bringing the kids, then Amber leaves James with a sitter?  I'm not surprised, I'm just wondering if I misunderstood the phone convo with Cheyenne. 

The name Vaeda isn't that strange to me, I worked for a woman named Vada for years.  She was a great boss.  Loved her.  So for me it's not so much that it's a strange name, but I associate it with a much older generation.  Sort of like if they named her Gertie or something.  Luma is a different story for me.  It sounds like something you'd hear in the context of 'I drive a 2005 Chevy Luma'.  Ah, but we all have our own experiences that shape our associations.  Lol

I was initially puzzled by Tyler's sister and the ears, but then I was struck by the fact that everyone in Tyler's family has these tiny faces on top of these weirdly long, thick necks and they all look very strange. 

I don't blame Maci for being somewhat concerned about the stutter, she said that it was happening more frequently and she just wanted to get it checked out.  I'd likely do the same thing if I had a kid and I have siblings who stuttered when they were younger.  I know it can be normal and they can grow out of it, but I'd still want to have it checked just to make sure it wasn't related to an issue that required more intervention, on the off chance that it was something more.  

How many more times do we have to watch Mack tell us her tale of woe where she has been there EVERY.SINGLE.TIME Ryan has been arrested? Like how many more friends will we need to watch her tell this to? Because this is at least the second time she's trotted the same script out this season, and we're not that many episodes in.  I can't feel that bad for her because, well, it's not like she couldn't have known who she was getting involved with, he's in his 10th season on the damn show.

Yea, and Andrew lugged a camera around for some cable television show several years ago.  Since then he's been sponging off of Amber in Indiana.  I don't think they take many meetings with the CEO's of Disney, Sony, or Universal when they're out here urinating in parking structures.

Yep Amber did say she would bring James, but I guess that was too much effort for her in the end.
