In weddings I've gone to, and my own, the front 2 - 4 rows were reserved for family and they sat according to how they were escorted in and entered the church. Usually the 4+ seats closet to the aisle, on either side in the front row are saved for both sets of parents. The other family seats are first come, first served (seated). 

Usually right before the the wedding party, the parents and grandparents enter the church to their seats. I wonder if Janelle had an escort into the church.

It does look from these pics that Kody was just a family guest at his own son's wedding. And it appears he can't even watch the ceremony because its not him performing it.

I thought so.  And, they have a beer bearer to deliver guests beer while they’re seated at the wedding.  In photo 2 above they’re drinking at a dive bar?  And, I recall back when they were on the show years ago and were very fond of alcohol then.  I suppose they just enjoy drinking. Nothing wrong with that, I suppose.   It just catches my attention for some reason when people seem so focused on drinking.

I am glad he was not officiating. 

So much for even pretending there is any plural marriage left. He should’ve sat next to Janelle since he is her “husband” and Logan’s dad, but I can understand that perhaps her other children would not want him with them

I agree. It makes me wonder how much worse things have gotten in the time between the shows that are airing now and the present day.

Maybe Kootie isn’t sitting with Janelle as punishment for her walking off during their outdoor meeting that was shown as a preview for next episode.

As Janelle stood up and started to walk away he shouted something like “you’re making a BIG mistake by walking away!”  🤷‍♀️

Joan, while I agree he's that petty, he'd actually have to remember Janelle walking away from 1 1/2 years ago. He has the attention span of a flea, so no way.

That was the second time we've seen her walk away from a "family discussion" which always ends up being his way or the highway.  I don't blame Janelle. It is not worth wasting time talking to someone who never listens.  And he often walked away from her and the boys when he got tired of what they were saying or RV leveling.

That's what they all expect Janelle to do when things get too rill - walk away.  I would, however, love to see her start to walk away and then suddenly do a 180, walk straight up to an unprepared Kody, shove her finger in his face and say, "listen up, Curly Sue."  And then go on to let him know that he's a piece of crap for making their sons feel terrible, for ignoring Savanah and Truely, for being Robyn's gopher, for not going to Ysabel's surgery, etc., etc.  I, like Janelle, avoid conflict whenever possible and if someone yells at me, that person wins because I'm gone.  But there is no gray area when it comes to how Kody has treated their kids.  I'd love to see her blow her stack at Kody, just ONE TIME.  He goes at her because he's confident she's going to do what she always does - walk away.  She needs to give it right back to him and stun him speechless, for at least a few glorious minutes.

I would treat Kody like a kid who is very upset. Janelle should say, I understand we're all having feelings right now so instead of yelling lets figure it out. Then she should ask, what do you want to share first, your feelings or what is giving you feelings right now? Do you want a hug while we talk?

Act like a kid - get treated like a kid.

Michelle and Logan live in Las Vegas. They just had a house built recently.

I feel like for some time, that Kody has been a one woman man.  I believe they are all just sticking around for the show and the money that comes along with it.  Plus the boost that it gives to their side gigs.

Talk about selling their souls - they're all, even Christine IMO, coming out looking worse than they ever did. Before we could just say Christine and Janelle were naïve and a little brainwashed. Now we know they were onto Kody and Robyn for years. Now we know Kody is even more of an asshole than we thought he is. And now we know for sure Robyn is a manipulative bitch.

They should have quit before they revealed their true selves. Well except Meri, because, well, Meri never really hid who she is.

Sounds like all of Christine's kids will be back in Utah then, since Gwen moved back too.  I suspected once Christine moved back to Utah Ysabel would reconsider being in NC with Maddie.

Thank you to those who posted, for sharing the photos of Logan and Michelle's wedding. I always liked Logan, and he & Michelle had a beautiful wedding. I wish them all the happiness. It seems that the family enjoyed the shin dig is well. It was nice to see them enjoying each other and having fun.

I remember at Maddie’s & Mykelti’s weddings, it very much seemed like their parents (Janelle/Kody or Christine/Kody) were there together with the other moms attending.  But it seems at Logan’s, it was very separate. Interesting. 🤔

Janelle and Christine were Logan's real parents.  He then parented his siblings because he was the oldest.  Kootie said that Logan "handles responsibility well" or words to that affect.  I'm sure Kootie did very little of the hands-on parenting of his own kids.  Only when Sobbyn came along did he do more for her 3 + 2.  He doesn't even know much about Christine's children.  Shameful.

And maybe Hunter, Paedon and Garrison helped too.  There wasn't a lapse in births until Gabe came almost 3 years after Garrison and when Logan was 7.

Logan is 28, Aspyn, Leon and Maddie are 27, Mykelti 26, Hunter 25 and Paedon & Garrison are 24. Dayton is also 24 and the rest are 21 and under.

I think Logan and Asypn took on most of the caregiving duties for the other kids because they were 1. the oldest, and 2. had the temperament/personality for it. Not that they ENJOYED it per se, but they may have felt a sense of duty, and did what they were asked well and without a lot of complaint. It was clear from the first episodes how much the little kids just LOVED Logan.

Not that Leon, Maddie and Myketi didnt do anything if asked (or their regular chores) but if you know Logan and Asypn will do it, (and do it well), they were often the ones doing the brunt of it.

Logan may love his father (as most kids love their parents) but he seemed to "know the score" on his Dad a long time ago and not seek his approval or praise. Logan was secure in who he was, what his talents were, and he got a lot of love and support from the other members of the family. Logan never "looked up" to Kody or longed for his attention the way some of the other kids did. That probably irks Kody the most, that Logan was never impressed with him and saw his true colors from a young age.

I don't understand why knowing Kootie is a crap parent is a surprise.  He as a blue million kids.  Even if he devoted the waking hours each day to parenting them, individually they'd get a few minutes of his attention to get to know or support each of them individually.  And that is assuming they are well-behaved and illness-free.  Otherwise, they'd have been handed off to a mother or sibling.

Polygamy is toxic on all fronts, why anyone would think otherwise is an idiot.  But none of them have the brains they were given to think things through.  Cults are like that.

I could tell Logan had Kody's number in the very first episode when the whole family was in the yard cleaning up a huge mess left by a dead tree they had cut down.

Kody was showing off  using a chain saw to break down some logs when he suddenly announced he wanted to do something "ultra dramatic like drop a tree" even though the whole yard was filled with logs and limbs and branches from the first tree that would take hours to get cleaned up.  He wanted to drop another ton of tree on top of the mess to show what a badass he is.

Logan stood there with his arms folded and was like "what tree, dad, what tree do we need to cut down?"  He was just not having it for a second.  I knew from that single scene what a dumbass Kody was and that his oldest son knew his father was an idiot, too.

I remember the time when Robyn was pregnant with Sol. It was Leon who was so over the moon and couldn’t wait whereas the others (apart from Robyn’s) couldn’t really be bothered. Leon was one of the first to arrive after his birth. Leon really planned to be there for the baby and be part of his life. Funnily enough, we never heard anything about the Leon-Sol relationship again. (First signs that Robyn was shielding her kids?)
