I think that's giving him too much credit.  I think killing Nugget was most definitely a message to Jenelle, but I doubt David is that calculating.  He's just a psychopath.

He's become even more dangerous now cause when people like him realize they've lost control (and I think he really thought he still had some control over MTV) they sometimes decide to go out in a blaze of glory.  I could totally see him killing everyone on the land, anybody else who has pissed him off, and shooting up a public place full of people he doesnt know at all before turning the gun on himself.  He is that scary to me.  The fact that production wont even film in their entire states because of him, says tons.  I hope I'm wrong, but I would not be surprised.   This also assumes the article's true that she's been fired and they've lost their sole income,  but nothings confirmed yet. 

How long do you all think it would take MTV to announce if she were fired? I kinda think theyd have confirmed by now.

The guy is a dangerous sociopath and may even be a psychopath at this point. Killing animals for pleasure is a sign of a psychopath. MTV should fire Jenelle just due to the danger David brings to the table. The guns, the stalking of the production team, the threats...what more do they need??? GROW A PAIR MTV and fire Jenelle! She might have to actually go out and get a job for the first time in her life.

That would scare me to death as well. Remember when Barb was waiting on Jenelle so they could film and Dave showed up with her? Production had to scramble to shut everything down. Dave knew he wasn't supposed to be there, he just wanted to give the big F.U. to MTV and mess up their schedule. Now he's so unstable he violently killed a dog, there's no telling what else he would do.

Not only does the crew no longer film on the Land, they won't even film in the State. If all these events combined aren't a wakeup call that this situation has gotten totally out of control, I don't know what is. MTV is insane if they don't cut Jenelle loose.

My guess is this - Since Jenelle is apparently back on The Land,  I’m thinking they want to convince her (and the kids) to leave, maybe even with assistance from Barb, before they put out a statement condemning David or addressing Jenelle’s contract.    They’re probably worried about how David might react if/when he gets bad news.  With all the guns stockpiled on the property, it’s a fucking scary situation.  Even the Sherrif’s Office is afraid to show up there!  Or am I giving MTV too much credit?  IDK, I just don’t see how they can ignore something this dangerous and serious.  I think something must be in the works, and maybe Jenelle not being cooperative or not answering calls/texts is part of the hold-up.

I don't  think either of them are even employable at this point. Both of them have enough mugshots to fill a calendar,  and every sordid detail of their lives is out on the internet for  an employer to see. I can't see it either. Not only does Dave have a calender's worth of mug shots, there's a trail of Instagram posts documenting his racism and bigotry, along with the recent animal cruelty. You are absolutely right. Nothing is too insane for him, now that he's probably actually killed the proverbial goose. He and Jenelle are undoubtedly fighting, money's running low, I just pray for those kids.

Maybe it's because I watch a lot of TV but can't the police can go on their property if they have a warrant?? They sound like they're really scared of David. If they have cause to go to the land and search, I'm sure someone will give them the proper paperwork to do so. I had no idea people could just tell the police they can't come on their property and the police say "okay". What kind of shit is that??

I saw the petition posted on a gossip site, where most of the posters never heard of these two before. People signing like crazy after reading the story.

ETA: it's tough to get a search warrant; there has to be rock solid, probable cause. They have no complainant and no evidence here so far.

Well, apparently things are “back to normal” on The Laaaand. She’s collecting eggs and having gallons of coffee according to her Instagram stories this morning. I guess him promising to do anger management classes, at some point in the distant future, has made him acting like a complete sociopath by completely overrreacting and beating and shooting their 12lb dog in front of her and her kids because she nipped at their daughter who was getting in her face everything just fine again. It’s been less than a week and these are the hillbilly’s “beliefs” and all, no need to make a big deal or create more drama. So fucking angry that she couldn’t even make a pretence of staying away for even a week to “think things over”.

She had the perfect opportunity to get the hell away when he was about to be jailed for not paying child support. She could have gone home, called the cops, made a statement and given them every weapon he owns. Then, filed for a protective order and got things in order while he was in jail. Before he was released, she could have moved out and asked for police protection. MTV offered to help her in any way possible. Instead, she paid his back child support and is playing happy family again. Bitch deserves everything coming her way.

The only thing I care about is Kaiser. The judge in the custody case is done with Jenelle's lawyer requesting continuance and said no more. The hearing will happen on May 30. I hope Nathan is able to get Kaiser out of that hell hole and, after that, I don't give a shit.

The killing of Nugget has created such a firestorm of hatred for UBT, I don't think it's safe for him to even go out to get the mail. It wouldn't surprise me at all to hear that someone blows his head off in the local Wal-Mart parking lot. I would chip in for that person's defense fund.

They would have to go in with a SWAT team and try to get Jenelle and the kids out safely. David is a clear and present danger to Jenelle and the kids and all the surrounding neighbors. I think David is so dangerous that he would hold Jenelle and the kids hostage or kill them all before throwing his hands up and surrendering. Hope the authorities are coming up with a plan to extricate Jenelle and the kids safely AND arrest David...but this has all the potential of being a VERY violent confrontation.

While I agree with everything you wrote I would like to add to the Farrah firing...it wasn't just the porn stuff it was also her horrible attitude. She made it impossible for anybody to work with her. She was beyond difficult and we witnessed her Borderline Personality Disorder get worse and worse...ie: the way she yelled at and humiliated the tutor for Sophia was one example amongst many. I think MTV had enough of her, her toxic behavior and porn work. Frankly...I don't miss her one bit but I do worry about Sophia and what is going to happen with her. But this thing with Jenelle and David is clear cut. MTV should ditch these two NOW...they might end up being held liable if anything transpires during a shoot. Surprised the legal team from MTV isn't jumping in and putting an end to this.

Sadly, I believe you may be right. David likely has control of that household, including the finances and access to Janelle’s phone and passwords. It may be difficult for Jenelle to orchestrate leaving, assuming she wants to. She may be clinging to hope that this will all blow over and they ( she and the asshole) will go back to their dysfunctional “normal.”
