Just left my feedback also, giving my negative opinion of MMM and touting Tara or Ana as Sara's replacement, "either of whom would be a reasonable and informed balance to the shrieking Meghan".

However, this little blurb on the bottom of the form is both interesting and dismissive:

"Note : The Company's long-established policy does not allow us to accept for review or consideration any ideas, suggestions, or creative materials not solicited by us or our subsidiaries. Therefore, in the event that you have submitted such content, please be advised that the submission has been forwarded to the Company's legal department for handling."

Sooooooooo, ABC is openly unreceptive to any ideas, suggestions we may have?  Isn't that what comprises "feedback"?  Nice way to negate your audiences' opinions, ABC.

I think this is more about people trying to sneakily submit a screenplay or fan fiction through the feedback form. Advocating for Tara or any number of non-shrieking Conservative voices should be fine.

Huntsman has guested on this show before. She's a complete twit. If Meh-gun was going to get a friend in Russia on the show, why didn't she just get Sippy Cupp?

I think I'm done with the show for the next season (hopefully followed by the two know-nothing daughters' departures next year). McCain is the worst addition they've had in years. I have no interest in watching with another just like her, not even for Joy.

well, on the show they talked about how they ALL went out for drinks.   And Sara said she wasn't invited to go with them.

so yeah, that article rings true.

Then, it pisses me off how Sarah was always trying to be so conciliatory, when it comes to Megan.

I believe Sippy auditioned or chem-tested for a permanent gig, and the Whoopi nixed it.

I NEVER believe when they protest they're all friends or they all like or "lOOOOOVE" each other, because that's something they did on a regular basis with Bitsy shortly before she got the axe.

Did they really go for drinks, or was it just a PR photo op?

Maybe she’s one of those people who can’t stand conflict in the workplace.  She’s probably better off with Strahan (yuk).

MM was asked on Watch What Happens Live her feelings about rumors that Ana Navarro will be joining the show. Her response was "I just got re signed for next season and that's all I care about."

From MM's response alone, The View producers are complete morons if they don't hire Ana. I can see the split screens now.

Abby Huntsman?  Good grief...another Foxbot.

From the little I've seen of her, I fear she could be another Born Again Candace.  Two of them with high-powered daddies might be nauseating, especially if she's a buddy of MMM.

I'd much rather have Tara there to push back against MMM.

If she's chosen over Ana, I'm so done with the show.

Lordy (tm Comey), I WISH I could say that.  This show is like crack to me.  No matter how bad it was, is, or might become, I'm hooked for that hour each day.  I've been through all the low notes - Elisabeth, Sherri, Star, Jedi, Candace, Jenny, Raven-Symone, Meghan, Rosie and Rosie - and I'm still there...a real glutton for punishment, I guess.  Is there rehab for this?

With the midterms coming up, I'm sure the re-signed and emboldened MM will even be more screechy and obnoxious in lecturing the Democrats about socialism and explaining the Trump voters over and over again. She will be even worse than she's been in the past. I'm with you all who will not be watching if Abby Huntsman takes Sara's place. I would probably tune in if Ana or Tara are there because either of them could slap Meghan down intellectually, and that might be quite enjoyable.

No.  I am a return viewer.  I started watching again when Meghan joined.  But while Joy was gone I didn't watch.  I would post here but only in response to what you guys said.

Meghan posted a photo with herself, her father and Whoopi saying they were the two people that made her accept the job.....thanks a lot Whoopsie!

Meghan also patted herself on the back as the only Conservarive since Elisabeth to return for another season....

Tell that to Paula*. Even within the context of The View, she can't tell the truth.

*And Jedidiah. Although her second season consisted of one month.... lol

Hopefully the same with MMM.  I wonder if Ana or Joy pointed that out to MMM right before the Aug 3rd show - just because she signed a 1-yr contract doesn't mean she's set for 12 more months.

Exactly, they can always buy her out. Megan thinks she is something special. She is going to have a rude awakening..

I do think that she will say something bad against ABC that will end with her firing. Then, she will whine about the liberal media bias. Jedidiah was very gracious about her firing and praised the ladies of the view. She never took the bait to trash them, she took the high road.

I doubt Fox will rehire her. She reminds me of Stacey Dash who was used by them and as soon as the last administration was over, she was dumped like yesterday's newspaper. Black twitter celebrated her demise.

She definitely has an overinflated ego.  The puff pieces she has written about her in Glamour and other media outlets doesn't help.  But she still isn't widely known.  Most people know her as John McCain's daughter not as a political pundint.  I firmly believe once her father passes she will given much less attention.

As much as I disagreed with Jed while she was on the show, she really never took the bait even after her time on the show ended and to this day on Twitter, will defend her previous place of employment. She speaks very highly of all of the ladies. Sometimes I think she throws shade towards the person who took her place but that’s another convo for another day... ??‍♀️??‍♀️

Saw this today:

https://www.closerweekly.com/posts/the-view-cast-changes-163995

On July 19, Whoopi Goldberg, 62, a co-host since 2007, had a contentious debate with guest Jeanine Pirro, a Fox News regular, which landed the show in the headlines. "The co-hosts were really worried for Whoopi," the insider revealed. "They were concerned that she would lose her job."

Then on July 23, ABC News announced Sara, 40, who's been on the show since 2016, would depart for a new ABC daytime gig with Good Morning America's Michael Strahan, starting in September. So, what does all this change mean for The View? "Two new co-hosts to start," said the insider, noting that the producers are talking about The View's regular guest host Ana Navarro and E!'s Catt Sadler.

With Sara leaving, that leaves one position empty. Yet "the insider" is saying two new hires?

Paula was on so rarely that she was a non-entity.

I doubt Whoopi will go. Meghan was way too excited about being rehired for another year of torturing me. If Joy walks, so does half the viewership.

What's up with adding two new hosts?!

And, as far as the headline including ""Everyone Is Stressed Out" - DUH. When you have a shrill humorless shill sitting at the table, screeching at people who are far better and smarter than she is, that's gonna happen.

I'm hoping they need just a replacement for Sara (since I am already depressed MM is on for the new season) and that could be Tara. I'd love Ana! But if she is unwilling to move to NYC or wants to stay on CNN as well - she can take Paula's place and also fill in as needed. I've never been a fan of the revolving, endless tryouts for the next regular that takes months.

What would Catt Sadler bring to the table?  I’m not too familiar with her work.  She looks like just another plastic host of an entertainment show.

Whoopie's staunch defense over Cosby did not get her into trouble. She was truly awful during that period. Remember her daily refrain at that time was keep your tweets and comments to yourselves, cause I don't care. Who speaks to their audience with contempt like that..

Whoopie's job was never in jeopardy over that crazy Judge who needs to be medicated, in my humble opinion..

I don't see it over her on-air behavior, which I liked, but telling the old bat to fuck off backstage (using that term) might have rattled some of the brass. OTOH, "Judge" Pirro did call them cocksuckers right on stage and within earshot of the audience, so there's that....

The woman at E!—never heard of her—sounds like another name being pushed for by McCain. Isn’t McCain a close friend of the Kartrashians, who are the biggest things on that channel? No different than Abby Huntsman from FOX (McCain’s former employer) being an obvious push by McCain. Anything but Ana for her, I imagine, who would run circles around the over-privileged and uneducated Meh-gun.

And if either Sadler or Huntsman were hired, there would be maximum McCain ass-kissing. In other words: unwatchable.

I don't know what Sadler's political affiliation is but she is from Indiana. She has a background in journalism but from what I've seen, her journalism has not been politically focused (including her time at Fox - which I believe was a local station). I think she's been on The View this past year - I recall her making news because she left her job at E! because of pay inequality and then she exposed the network for it.

Does she speak with an english accent?  I think thats who Im thinking of.  So if MM is advocating for these people, then we need to triple backn with votes of pro Ana.  Didnt they set up a special suggestion box?  Or surely theres someplace to leave your view lol
