There is employment after , a relative on the in-laws ( or in this case Outlaw) side was involved a felonious act and went to the big house for 5 years . Since being released she's gainfully employed , owns a home - doing well. Dumb mistake and she paid heavily for it. Amber has NO drive or ambition , sitting in the couch in front of MTV cameras is her job. Amber is lazy.

It seems to be all the rage.  Dad of the year Tyler keeps Nova corralled with his dogs. Seems dogs are the new Au Pairs.

Amber who's never seen cooking , cleaning her house, or doing anything productive..... spends her time laying on her couch, bragging about all the prescription meds she takes, always has the time & energy to go out & eat with that Thug..... who when she was tooling around the country in a big-ass bus on her "Book Tour," said it didn't matter that by taking Leah on the tour with her, her daughter would miss weeks of school, because it was just kindergarten....who when hospitalized forgot to call her child to explain why she had to miss a scheduled visit.  Amber's behavior proves the act of giving birth, doesn't make a woman a mother.

And poor little "You-mean-everything-to-me-directed-at-Kristina" Leah already knows this about the egg donor.  Because of this, I'm happy that this sweet girl has the stability and some kind of family dynamics at home with Gary.

Property values won't go down because of Matt's house.  HE earned that house.  It's going to be the nicest house on the street.  Do you know how many Nicholas Sparks' movies he has sat through over 25 years?  How many times he had to perform cunnilingus when he wasn't into it?  How many identities and intricate backgrounds he had to create and then remember?  How many pregnancies he had to pretend to care about?  Backrubs, massages, breakfasts in bed.  This is HIS house.  HE earned it and HE will take care of it.  Two decades of grifting and preying on dumb women is just finally starting to pay off for him.  Matt will know every single blade of grass on his lawn.  He'll pull weeds.  Lay mulch.  All that jazz.

Yeah, I grew up in one of "those" super-fancy neighborhoods and white collar crime was rampant. One doctor got arrested for running a child porn ring. You can't tell morals from wealth. 

To get to that level of rich, you *might* have worked hard after your many years of education...but in my experience, there are a lot of day traders and scammy "entrepreneurs" there too. I think Amber/Matt might fit in more than she thinks.

I've never looked at Amber and admired her sense of fashion. She's not even a Pinterest bandit like Kail.  Just what makes her qualified to be a buyer for a boutique?

Amber got the idea to "flip houses" from Farrah and Simon. She doesn't need an actual storefront for her "boutique," just some products that can be dropped shipped to real customers, and a tax ID that can be used to purchase "products" and "supplies" while making sure to pay taxes on all the "sales" of her items. I wondered back when she said she was going to be flipping houses if she would go to this length. 

There is something about Amber that I always rooted for. Back on 16 and Pregnant, she was often fun and happy, and she and Gary weren't trying to antagonize each other constantly. Going to jel because she couldn't get clean made me think she may be working her way back to that girl. After getting with Matt, there is no way that will happen. He needs her to stay sick. She had no business being around Leah when she was using, and now that she is sober, it is perfectly clear that she doesn't want to be around her. That girl I rooted for no longer exists, and that's unfortunate, because that girl was fun.

I am guessing Amber has decided to marry that bastard. I don't think she will ever leave him. He will make sure of that!
