As I said below I agree they should wait on that BUT we do teach kids what to call their elders (how to address grandparents, uncles, aunts etc) that’s a natural part of learning language and inter generational relationships. I wasn’t just allowed to call certain elders by their first name. If Jon is going to be her step father then he needs a name (unless he wants to be called Jon), i.e. Papa Jon (I know a family where all the kids/grandkids call the step dad/grandad Papa S out of respect. )

I don’t feel this way, BUT I think Angela was not shy about Michael seeing her or anything like that, but concerned that none of the clothes in the shop fitting her, them ripping (no stretch), having to be measured, the sales people making comments etc.

Oddly this church service isn't that unusual to me. Reminds me of Sunday's at church with my grandmum. Especially the multi hour services. They were calm compared to some of the services I've attended where people were running and speaking in tongues. It looked like a camp meeting or revival to me.
