Yeah, I skipped 50 cent his absolutely disgusting treatment of Terry Crews turns my stomach.  I'm assuming the ladies didn't call him out. He's also as dumb as a box of rocks.

...snip snip...  same here, I lost a lot of respect.  He did explain himself and told the whole story.  He said it before he talked to Terry and got the whole story.  Then he understood, and regretted his shade.  Take it for what you will, but i did appreciate him saying it

Ida rocks it harder than i can't lol She's Awesome!!

Yes he said he regretted the shade, but then he went into saying something along the lines of, if someone had touched him inappropriately he would have said something to the person.  And he didn't understand why Terry didn't say anything to the guy at the time.  Whoopi said sometimes people are too shocked to react, and 50 continued talking about if it had been him.   He was about to dig himself back in the hole, and Joy (I think) asked a different question to change the topic.

The whole time 50 cent was talking about Terry Crews he had a grin on his face. To me, it seemed as if wanted to laugh. I didn't find his explanation sincere at all.

Then when Sunny asked him a question about a female character on his tv show he said "maybe she's an angry black woman." (Ummmm....not a very appropriate description in these times.) Sunny responded, "I think she's in love."

It's coming to Jersey.

I thought everyone looked good today, and there was a real lack of cross-talk for most of the show. I think they were all very aware that today a lot of people would be watching to see their reactions. The View is hated passionately by Trump's people, as we hate Fox News. They especially loathe Joy, with Whoopi a close second. They all looked nice and they all behaved today... no use in having a personal throwdown when a lot of eyes would be on them.

Meghan has a degree in art history.  If she wants to be considered an expert on something then she should have a job related to the degree her parents paid good money for.  Her wanting to be an expert on politics, military, whatever is just her being lazy.  She wants the benefits of nepotism all the while denying it by saying she has been in politics her whole life and was a military brat.  Her father has been in politics her whole life.  Her father was retired from the military by the time she was born.  I find it funny she hasn't said she has been in beer distributing her whole life.  Her mom owns the biggest distributor in Arizona.  I guess that doesn't get her a job on TV.

If her father were an apolitical Joe Schmo, Meghan would be working her mother's connections.  She'd likely be sitting on the board of directors earning a huge nepotism fee, and spend her days trying to start a line of silly, unnecessary alcoholic beverages.

Seriously, it could go on forever, just like The Dead! Can play games with it, a little volleyball, some badminton, it could be the the dot on kareoke songs, follow the bouncing orange balloon.  Omg its endless.  Whoever (whom?) had that created is bloody brilliant!

It would last about five seconds and then Trump's base would pull out their open carry weapons and blow it out of the sky.

And likely drinking a line of silly, unnecessary alcoholic beverages.

She couldn't wait for her July 4th iced tequila bombs, jello shots, and vodka bombs.

Then the  other day during the hip-hop discussion, MM  said she likes filthy lyrics.

Combine those with her twitchy frustration when she doesn't get her way at this table, authoritative valley girl voice with no substantive info, plus  inflated sense of accomplishment, and we see MM is still in teen brat mode.

Insufferable.

Add her enjoyment of Jersey Shore.  If she wasn't supposed to be the prim proper daughter of a Republican senator she could have very easily been a blond Snookie.

I didn't understand that comment from Meghan.  She says she likes filthy lyrics in music, but will cover her ears and scream "LA-LA-LA-LA-LA....." when the ladies bring up any type of topic about sex.  WTF?

This is what happens when you aren't being yourself.  You can't keep the lies straight.

Very interesting that they dedicated an entire segment to talk about the ladies not getting along. It must've reached a fever pitch among viewers (just read the comments here, on facebook, twitter, ect about Meghan mostly), so much so that perhaps the producers felt the need to tell the ladies to address it. Okay, so they like to get "lit" together. Great. I still don't like Meghan.

I hate this.  Yes a woman can in fact be an obnoxious nasty bitch.  I'm an equal opportunity caller of bad behavior.  Man woman or child if someone is an asshole I will call them an asshole.  Well a child I will call a brat but my point still stands.

Another PR moment for Meh-gun on The View today. Whoopi even claimed misogyny must be why Meh-gun is rightfully called a rude, disgusting asshole instead of her own chosen behavior from the first day she started on this show. Only Whoopi could classify the way Meh-gun acts as professional, because Whoopi herself acts the same way towards Sunny (and towards Paula, and just a few years ago towards the Rosie's).

Yep. Another "let's show everybody that Meghan is likable" moment.

The photo that was tweeted looks staged. Joy even admitted to only having one drink with them.

ABC sure is dedicated to pushing Meh-gun for some reason or another. Always working these attempts to rehab her image every time she has a screaming tantrum (ie, nearly every week) must be like trying to keep a litter box spotless. No matter how often you sort, there’s bound to be another fresh, steaming pile within the hour.

What irks me is that MM is stupid,  most of all. She got this job, not on her own merits , if there are any,  but because of her name.

 Ignorant brat.

Man, it would take 3 shots to have lunch with MM, then about 3 wines with lunch, and probably 5 stiff drinks to get over the fact that I did to pass out from the ordeal.

Imagine sitting a foot or two away from her and she starts shrieking and yelling.

I just couldn't do it. Not even for Joy or Sunny.

I was just thinking the same thing abt Screechy McRepublican. I bet her family dinners are like musical chairs with everyone trying to get to seats farthest away from her.

I like to think of it this way - Meghan finally, for a minute or two yesterday, made sense when she criticized trump and disagreed with his statements about Russia. (even though she then wrecked it by saying "trump derangement syndrome")  At some point, the women had made a pact that if there came a time that they all agreed on something trump-related, they would all go out for a drink.  so they did.  Maybe the only way to handle dealing with Meghan is to be drunk.

I did feel bad for Sara not being invited.  I had assumed she had the kids to get home to but when she said she was in her dressing room when they decided to go out I genuinely felt sorry for her.  She played it off like she didn't care but I bet she was hurt.

I think Sara knew what the producers were trying to do and did not want to be a participant in any of the fake "friendship" photo ops. Good girl!

Meghan was cool with undermining Tara's Republican-ness when she spoke to the cult-like sect of Trump voters, but it's a problem when someone else does it to her. She doesn't hold consistent values in her language or attitude.

Between their own behaviour toward one another on the show and likely the comments they're getting from viewers, clearly they felt they needed a segment to address the issues of them 'not getting along'. I felt like they were trying to push the image of them hanging out often but every indication tells me that Whoopi doesn't hang out with any of them and it seems Joy showing up to drinks yesterday was about the first and possibly last time she does. They've mentioned that Sara and Sunny have gone out with drinks with Meghan but I swear the only time I hear of the 2 or 3 of them together is when it's a lounge/bar or someplace where drinks are involved. If that's the only activity you can partake in (and not involved in any other aspect of each other's life) then I wouldn't call you friends and I wouldn't say it's much effort or all that hard to sit and have a couple of drinks with someone that I work with. Besides with Meghan's personality, maybe a couple of drinks is what makes her easier to digest.

Give me a break Whoopi, if most people saw a table full of men who work together every day who yell over each other, roll their eyes and speak to one another as if they thought the other was stupid then yes, the common observation would be that they don't like each other.

You need only look at professional sports teams to see examples of men not getting along.  There have been instances of men wanting traded because they didn't get along with teammates.

That shit was embarrassing. So ironic that they spent the first segment making fun of people who still back Trump, but then try to hoist that load of bullshit on their viewers.  They think we are idiots.

And Jeanine Pirro will be on tomorrow auditioning for the Attorney General's job which she has already said she wants.

Joel McHale pissed me off with his comments about ComicCon being nerdy people wearing costumes.  ComicCon is  MAJOR media event.  Television producers, movie producers, video game producers come and hold panel discussions with all of the stars of their shows holding Q&As and showing first viewings of their shows or at least trailers of their shows. People all over the internet wait breathlessly to see the trailers online, and to watch the panel discussions.  It's a huge event.  And yeah, it would be impossible to get a hotel room in San Diego during ComicCon week.

Does Fox really single Meghan out when she says something anti-Trump?  Or is it her usual delusion that when a group with which she identifies is being criticized she takes it as a personal attack?

I don't get why the producers or ABC is pushing the idea that they are all pals.  Obviously none of them have much in common*, so it's to be expected that they aren't hanging out together.  Any notion that they do is forced and phony.

*which is the premise of the show-- different women with different views.

Exactly. Whoopi's comment was a cheap shot that was intended to put the onus on the observer of their interactions rather than them accountable for their actual interactions and behaviour...all to defend Meghan and I guess by extension, herself as well because they are the only two that ever come across as aggressive towards the other women on the panel. I'm willing to bet that they had such negative reactions to their behaviour since Friday's episode that they saw an opportunity for a photo op to use as evidence of them getting along with one another. Maybe the backlash or commentary they expected would die down but it didn't. Monday's episode would have been the perfect time to raise that segment (even without a picture) and have the women take accountability for how they engage with one another and then re-establish the notion that despite whatever differences they have, that they respect each other and do truly get along outside of the show. It would have come off far more authentic to me then what they tried to pull today.

Exactly. Meghan talks over people, screeches, mocks their opinions, shouts over anything she doesn't want said, and makes it clear that only does she disagree with her co-hosts, but she has no respect for them.

But the criticism is about her being female?
