Do the Maloofs still own The Palms resort in Vegas?  They stayed at the Venetian, right?  I read today that Adrienne was furious a few seasons back because Lisa V stayed at another hotel while in Vegas.  lol It was part of the storyline that season.  It's vaguely familiar to me.   I missed some of this episode.  Was it addressed?

Yes they still own it to my knowledge and yes Adrienne was pissed that Lisa and co. stayed at another hotel. It was addressed and part of their storyline in either S2 or 3.

The Maloofs (not just Adrienne) have only owned 2% of the hotel and casino since 2011, basically at the time they filmed  Pandora's weekend.

I didn't realize until this epi that the hike where Harry and Kyle saw each other was the day after the reunion. I don't blame Harry either for what he said. And don't know why LisaR felt the need to apologize to Kyle for something Harry said. I doubt very much that Kyle would apologize for something her hubby said. 

Hmmm, so Dorito thinks it is wonderful to have boys. I hope her daughter doesn't see that comment at some point. How unfortunate for Jagger that he is a carbon copy of his father. Looks cute on a small child, not at all on an adult. Or at least the PK version of an adult. 

I would have to say I would have to look pretty hard in LV to find two people dressed as ridiculously as Dorito and Erika. And that is saying a lot. The closest I have come is a group of adults wearing nothing but diapers and sucking on soothers. 

Interesting that Teddy said she would not let someone else dictate how much she gambled, but didn't say a word when Dorito said that would each take $5,000 in chips. Unless her reply was edited out. Still not sure if I like her or not, but still not buying that her father was just like all the other dads. I am pretty sure people where she was raised knew who JCM was. Or JC. or JM. Whatever name he was going by at the time. And while she may not have been given a trust fund, I am sure her father paid for her hobby as an equestrian and a pretty decent lifestyle growing up. 

I laughed at LVPs comments about LisaR changing her ways, and how mean she has been previously. (Can't remember her exact words). You would have to go a long way to outmean LVP. I did love her classy outfit though while hanging around the clowns that were Dorito and Erika.

I don't really like Dorit's little cackle at the end of when she says something she thinks is funny, and I also don't really love hearing her draw out and carefully pronounce each word. I always feel like I'm watching a witch from that Roald Dahl movie, "The Witches." They are pretty ladies and then when they get inside their den they become all nails and long noses... anyway. She's cute, but man, she is really trying too hard to prove just about everything, with her kids, her hair, her boobs, her accent, her cackle and non-verbals, high pitched squeals, outfits, boobs, transcontinental lifestyle. Just enough! But she is cute, and maybe she's trying to brand herself like Rinna (only she refuses to change her hair).

I loved the color of LVP dress. Their dancing was a little awkward-- with everyone staring and eyeing each other up and down while pretending to be carefree and dancing. UGH. it was the worst. I was so happy when the dancing club thing was over.

Ericka has always said she was raised by a single mom, so I'm not sure what the shock is about her...uh, being raised by a single mom. Maybe she was testy because Teddi just assumed that everyone had a father they grew up with. It was a little privileged girl faux pas, and Ericka called her right out on it. I've learned the same thing as Teddi-- don't assume everyone grew up with a father, it shows your ignorance. At least, that's how I took it.

I think Erika had already divorced her husband and left her son to be raised by her ex when she finally met her own father. Maybe it's genetic.

I don't think it's that surprising that the women didn't know because they aren't real friends and I know plenty of people who say that they were raised by a single parent but they still know their other parent and might have even spent time with them growing up, they were just not involved in the day to day parenting.

Dorit has a politicians recall of facts. There are recordings of her husband saying those things,  Jesus. There is something wrong with her and I hate watching a compulsive liar. 

Kyle really shouldn't talk about anyone else's tired dance moves,  but the magnifying glass thing was cute.

I'd like to see a couple of episodes where ALL the ladies get an honest makeover, from hair, makeup, clothes, shoes, etc. on down.  And the glam squads get dashed for awhile.   Some of the ladies are stuck in the 90's and need help. I suspect their regular people are too scared to change up their look.  Others just don't seem to have much taste or they are bored and are trying to make people laugh. I happen to like a couple of their hairstyles, but, the others need new ones, imo.

I also like Dorit and PK.  I find them to be fun and I like the rapport they have with each other.  IF they really are coke addicts, then they function really well.

Ahhh, thank you for reminding me of this. I knew there was some extra reason why I knew that Erika was seething with jealousy over Teddi/her dad being John Mellencamp. When Dorit asked Teddi how it was having him as a father, Erika instantly had to jump in and say the thing about not being defined by your parents, you are your own person. That was to steer things away from Teddi's story which Erika did NOT want to hear. She does not want another person having the spotlight on them and them being "special" in some way (like having a rock star dad), she is the only one who is supposed to be special. So she tried to downplay Teddi's famous dad and change the subject. I  see right through her and she is repulsive. Obsessed with herself to a very sick degree. I wonder what else happened to her growing up that she turned out like this? A person that left her toddler behind to pursue fame too. Simply vile.

I was wondering about this during that whole scene.   If we're talking about individual jabs last season Dorit's slams against Rinna VASTLY outnumbered Rinna's jabs against her.  Rinna said ONE thing to Dorit, directly to her face.  Dorit, on the other hand, was running around town talking shit about Rinna and implying she was a drug addict despite knowing damn well she was joking with that bag and with the Xanax smoothie thing to anyone who would listen all season long!  And then for her to flat out deny doing it despite it being aired on the show and having been discussed on the reunion, is beyond.  I'll never understand how these women can deny saying things ON FILM even after watching and discussing it!  It's beyond comprehension.

I'm part of a facebook gossip group and someone actually texted with Teddy's assistant about the accountability and posted screen shots.  She charges $300 for 2 weeks.  You have to agree to one hour of cardio a day and text her proof.  You  have to follow her meal plan exactly and send her pictures of everything you eat and when.  If you mess up in ANY WAY (like, miss one workout or eat one thing off plan) that's it. She cuts you off and keeps the money.  She said THAT'S how she keeps people accountable.

Here is my issue with Erika saying that hanging with gay guys is the reason her jabs are taken the wrong way, the Real Housewives of Atlanta are just as if not more conversant in gay culture and vernacular than Erika is and those Atlanta bitches can be mean and hilarious in a way that Erika couldn't hope to emulate. Atlanta managed to spin off two of their gay, very femme, costars to a very queer show that managed to be very funny too. Atlanta also goes too damn far too like their weird homophobia and transphobia can make it such an unpleasant show to watch when that shit comes up.

However, Erika isn't funny. She's often being a not so stealth bitch and not in a funny way. I think you aren't giving viewers enough credit to be discerning. I'm a straight woman with a ton of gay friends. I'm the one with the evil mouth. I'm a fairly funny person too. I thought the first and last funny thing Erika ever said was her jab back to Bethenny in her talking head. Since then I've found her to be boring and obvious. Erika's version of being "funny" is to be bitchy or say something barely sexually transgressive in order to shock. The first is high school cheerleader and the second is teenaged boy. I'm not impressed. DSL. Not inherently funny. How many fucks do I give. Not inherently funny. She's not funny. Yes. Eileen and Rinna kept cracking jokes when they were out with Dorit about it being the new Erika Jayne move "flash the puss" with exaggerated crossing and uncrossing their legs. Eileen and Rinna were terrible and have never owned their part in pantygate.

I think the key to becoming friends with Erika is to adopt the saying "slow and steady wins the race."  Teddi mentioned that she may have been trying too hard to be friends with Erika, and realized that she needs to back off a little bit (at least that's what I understood her to say.)   From what Erika has said in the past, and we've seen it happen on the show, she has gotten burned by some of them when they ran and told others what she had said in confidence.  She's also mentioned how the  wives of Tom's co-workers don't like her.   I think Erika likes to sit back and observe people before letting them get too close (I can relate to that!)  However, if a person is too closed off, then he/she can come across as aloof and distant.  I can see where Teddi didn't get the friendship vibe from her.  Maybe it'll get better over time.  We know the routine with newbies on the housewives shows:  they're either mocked or ridiculed about something; then the newbie cries and tells their sad life story;  the group crying begins; everybody hugs and all is right with the world - well, until one of them accuses the other of being a coke head!!
