THIS might explain why Meghan was overdosing on her nastiness on today's show. Although I don't see her tweet or retweet. And the link to this site just happened to be at the bottom of this site!

MMM deserves every negative response she receives, and then some.  What a hateful person!

Meghan's Twitter page is full of people calling her out for attacking David Hogg for his use of "strong language," and pointing out the hypocrisy in the number of times she has used the same language.

I'd say the responses are about 90% against her.

Me: ?????????

Show: Meghan whining about how "meaaannnnnnnn" everyone is on social media to her for stating her "opinion" about pro gun, pro 2d Amendment.

Panel: will sooth, coddle and "there, there" her.

If Meghan doesn't want her views or opinions challenged then she needs to stop posting them on social media.  As Whoopi told  her yesterday you can't criticize someone for their beliefs without expecting them to criticize yours.

I took it as more as Whoopi saying, you have things you criticize and you have a right to do it, but so do others have a right to protest/criticize, so you shouldn't put them down or criticize them for doing what they have the right to do and what she does every day. Oh dear, Whoopi's rubbing off on me, because as I'm reading what I wrote, it sounds like a word salad.

I  thought it was Whoopi's polite way of telling Meghan to STFU.

That too! It was all in Whoopi's eyes.

As much as I dislike Whoopi on this show (I do enjoy her acting for the most part) she has the ability to eviscerate Meghan if she so chooses.  And that would be a beautiful thing to watch.  Joy could take Meghan down with stats and logic and Meghan would just blow her off.  Sunny is just too damn nice.  Sara is content to just sit on the fence. But Whoopi could make that poor little white girl cry.

Meghan is getting nastier with each passing day which I didn't think was possible.  I wonder what her end game is.  She can't possibly want to make the View a long term job.

Her end game is to be remembered as being worse than Bitsy. Remember, she occasionally refers to herself as "the mean one" on the panel or that she's the "shark" of the show (and Kevin O'Leary just looked at her like she was stupid).

@GiveMeSpace that is HILARIOUS! She is so predictable that everyone is making fun of her. It'd be a miracle if we could make it through an entire show without her saying and doing any of those things. It'll never happen, of course, because she just can't help herself.

It's a mystery as to why she hasn't yet. Maybe she's waiting towards the end of the season, since it'll be Meghan's last (MAYBE)?!

Joy almost made her cry on Friday. When Joy looked at the camera and challenged 45's base to turn on him, Meghan sounded like she was near tears, and asked why Joy was "attacking" her...blah, blah, blah.  And Joy had to clarify she was speaking to the camera.

For someone who "grew up politics" Meghan sure is thin-skinned.

I think Elsa is there to bring "spark".  We are talking about it, twitter is talking about it, etc.  She is probably prepped by the producers to bring the ugly so people will watch.  I know most of us don't watch, but read here, but, there are still I guess plenty who do.  But, sometimes I do watch, but not on a regular basis.

Elsa had to delete her offensive tweet to Kurt Eichenwald because he threatened her with legal action.  And he included Brian Teta in his tweet to her.  He had criticized her for going after David Hogg and being a hypocrite and she answered, whatever, mr. weird porn tentacle guy.

She also tweeted that she is sick in bed today.

Pulitzer Prize winning columnist Kurt Eichenwald called Meggy out for her swoon over David Hogg using the F word, pointing out that she uses it in her Twitter bio, so she replied with, "Whatever, Mister Tentacle Porn".  Not sure what she was referring to (yes, I know what tentacle porn is, but I wonder how Meggy knows, considered she claimed not to know what oral sex was), but Eichenwald fired back with her using fake news to defame him opens her to a lawsuit, and he threatened to sue her over it.  After several hours, she took the tweet down.

Suuuuure she is. Unlike Whoopi, who sounded sick as the proverbial dog last week, Meghan sounded like her usual nasty self, high screechy voice and all.

She knows what it is. Her beef whining about it is that she had to learn it from Bill Clinton, when she was "wee."

Exaaactly. More like, "Mom, don't make me go to school today, everyone is so mean to me!"

Yup. This show and its other panelists, may be under a directive to coddle her nasty ass, but social media is under no such thing and she will get push back and people not afraid of her, or her name, to call her out on her shit.

For someone who gets embarrassed talking about sex Meghan sure seems to know a lot about some freaky stuff.

She used an orgasm euphemism on Friday's show, but I don't remember her exact words.

But as our mods love to remind us, Meghan is not her father.  Now I'm dying to know what Nicolle was referring to!

True. But Meghan and the show, brought Meghan's mother to the show, to "address" the attack. How it was "hurtful," and how upset she was, but that her Mama would talk more at length about it. It was a couple of weeks ago, I think.

This person posted all the receipts on MM's ample use of curse words (it's an entire thread, not just the one post):

She said crescendo, I believe.

ETA - Meghan did, not twitter.

Silly, silly man.

I agree about her delivery being an intended strategy of some kind. She probably thinks if she says her points in a certain way, it'll make them more believable. Look at me, and how matter-of-factly I speak and the big words I use incorrectly, don't I sound like I know what I'm talking about??? (Complete with rising levels of affronted rich lady screeching at the end there.)

There's something about Meghan's tone of voice that bugs me.  Or, more specifically, it's the tone, combined with the rapid-fire delivery, with no pauses, no change in inflection.

I do think that there is some strategy.    whenyouputallyourwordstogetherlikethisit'shardforotherstointerruptyou.

I can't figure out if Meghan is this way because she's been pampered, indulged, and led to believe her POV is superior to others, or if she was patted on the head, called pretty, told not to interrupt the adults, and given expensive gifts while being sent to play.  Feeling like you've never been really heard or given respect can also result in a Meghan.
