How are you not a writer still blows my mind. Here is my best simple guess: She quit during the summer around August-September (give or take the six month film schedule and hence why we haven't seen much of her on the show as of late). Since she's still stuck in heavy story with BF, she probably gave Days enough time to finish off the story before she left. This was probably why the show probably panicked and called her onscreen father Matt Ashford to do a 5 episode story either around her and/or Melissa Reeves. Frankly, I wouldn't put it past them. They just kill everybody off these days. Do we have ANY idea what the post-Dena material is going to be? I'm irritated by everything on deck, and am curious where things might go in 4 months...Rafe possibly in jail/taking the fall for Hope? After seeing MBE posted a group photo the other day on IG and I saw GG's shirt and pants. It is a similar shirt/pants to Gabi wore when she went to clink. Something tells me Rafe could very well take the fall for Hope to play up a hero angle. My concern is who's going to write this: Dena, Beth and/or Josh. She did this with Crazy Ass Margaret with Not!Todd on OLTL while Blair was tied up in the trunk of a car, too. And it was gross then as well. Especially since a lot of it was played for laughs. We referred to it as 'Rapin' and Singin'' at TWoP because Not!Todd basically had a vision of Blair singing to him while Margaret did her stuff. Oh, did I mention that he was tied up and wounded because she had shot and kidnapped him and basically sexually assaulted him for about a month before he 'agreed' to have sex with her to save Blair's life? And then every soap journalist out there tried to tell everyone that men couldn't be raped. God I hate Higley. 11 Link to comment

Corday said back in September '15 any character killed off will stay dead. -I assume it could be another ghost tale to maybe clear his name or a ghost that will be there for Chase. -If Higley is writing, she could go into her bag of throwback storytellings have him as "Aiden 2" the doppelganger. -Some have suggested he could be a "good twin" but I doubt it since by Jason47's reporting it's only a short term role. -Or it could be Andre is in Aiden mask like he was in Roman mask the first time he tried to kill Hope. I'd love for Aiden to be vindicated, but there's no point hoping...they trashed him hard and if he's back, its probably part of Chase's storyline. I'm confident they'll make Chase the new Ben in time and with the CDC story coming up and Jack also appearing, he's probably just another hallucination. Poor Cosgrove. I hardly feel sorry here. I never bought Aiden as being some amazing dreamboat as some want to claim. He was suspicious and a mystery in his relationship with Hope. I couldn't trust the guy as a viewer how TomSell wrote for him anyhow. Cosgrove is a good actor and I hope whatever they give him will be at least worthwhile and provide some layer of closure to the character he played or make it at least an entertaining return. 1 Link to comment

Saw the Steve/Ava thing; I'm beyond words other than to point out that Corday clearly has major issues when it comes to romance. First he pisses of the Ejami fan base with a Feb. sweeps of disgusting Ejabby sex. Now he's pissing of the Steve/Kayla fan base in another Feb. sweeps with this disgusting Steve/Ava sex. Does the man know how to drive away fans or what? What a show....Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years are celebrated with death and Valentine's Day is all about cheating.
