Or maybe that's a veiled reference to the fact they need to replace a weak actress with a strong actress...Billy Flynn is amazing but can you imagine how he'd be with someone who could actually keep up with him?!!! Alderson would be good but she left LA...not happening. Berman would be okay, too. Adrienne Franz? I know that's controversial but I love her. But at least she's not quite as funny looking as KM. Again, that's not saying a lot. I'm still hoping that Abigail is killed off in such a way that she can never, ever return. I was wondering how that was going to play out and it sounds even more needlessly confusing and detailed than necessary...why is there a dude there trying to drug John? What does this have to do with Eddie? Is he the replacement assassin, since Eddie has clearly failed to take down his mark? I'm so confused. But I hope if this woman is John's Real Momma that the actress at least looks similar to Drake and is convincing. At least they cast someone apparently the right age. She couldn't support him so she gave him up to a neighboring childless couple who later died in a car wreck. Family of adoptive parents were angry John would inherit all of their money, so they nullified the adoption. John was sent to an orphanage after adoption was nullified. There he was adopted by the Alamains. John believes it and tells Marlena.John goes back to visit mother to thank her for her help. Someone drugs his tea and he passes out. A mysterious man orders Johns mom to clean up the mess. John pulls a gun on the guy and explains he was trained well, he smelled the poison in the tea. John takes a picture of the man and then knocks him out. John has a moment with his mother then leaves her crying. John tells all to Eduardo, who warns him that he is in danger. The mystery man in John’s story is named Vadim and is played by Joseph Kamal. John’s mother is named Maude and she is played by Eve Brenner. Link to comment

I completely agree. Aside from the fact that BB can not act, his Shawn has always been weak and ineffectual. The show should have agreed to JC stipulations for a permanent return, because BB sucks. Then again, this might be strategic, I mean the only thing that can make JPL look like a soap superstar is the emaciated, under talented, BB playing his rival. They could had just done Shawn/Belle/Chad, which would had been better because you have the Kiriakis-Brady, The Black and The Dimera in a triangle. Brandon Beemer and Jean Paul Lumpaleer aka Philip aka Roadkill are buds - and, from the way they both look these days, workout steroid buds as well, so we'll have the DoubleMint Twins of Dreadful to keep us all from getting too cocky about Show's quality acting. BB says in his clip, "I don't want this to end". I sure as hell, do, doofus. And Lady Clairol highlights aka Philip gives his patented "Rex is braindead" look that his mommy once told him was SOOOO CUTE! Somebody should tell him he was adopted.... And they'll both be going after the Betsey Wetsey of Daytime, Bella Lugosi. And do I hear that Melanie is actually back again for an extended stay? Oh, be still, my ruptured bowel.
