S02.E13: Stew the Right Thing

So, I am on team Bugs. But, I have to say I thought her confrontation with Hannah was poorly timed and poorly handled.

To me, it looked like the last straw for her was when Hannah was literally falling down drunk in the galley. The look of disgust on her face was priceless. 

And the whole Hannah / Adam thing. Hannah would have hopped on Adam in a second if he gave her the go. All of a sudden it's "poor Adam, that horrible Malia messed with his head". Please. Hanna is a sucker for attention - even pretend attention.

Why did Bobby feel the need to tell the primary that he matched with one of the girls on Tinder? What was the point of that? I'm actually curious. How much of an accomplishment was that really? Oohhh, so hard to get. She's shaking her ass in a hot tub for a free cruise. I think she matches with everyone on Tinder.

That guy was super creepy. However, he is paying. So why did Bobby think it was ok to run his own game on his dime?

One of the girls must have shared primary's cabin (yuck) because he said "apparently I snore".

And again, Adam with the food! Let's give the no salad guy salad with every meal.

I thought it was totally inappropriate for Bobby to discuss the Tinder match (was it Bugs who showed him how to swipe?) with the primary. His focus should be on finishing out the charter season working hard and helping everyone so they could collect the biggest tip possible to end their earnings with. I don't think the primary thought that Bobby would take it that far. I think he was setting them up for a meet and greet and then ha ha, joke, wasn't that cute/funny type of thing. Those girls were there to pay attention to the two male guests. I'm sure  Paula just lost her free lunch pass.  Since she's on the dime of her host, I doubt that she can hook up with Bobby after his work is done, as she'd forfeit her "ride" home. Very little morals on this cruise.

There is a big difference between the Hannah, Bobby, guest hookups.  Hannah's actions would certainly never have hurt the tip only enhanced it.  However, Bobby hooking up the the primaries guest could only end badly, whether or not the primary thought it would be funny to set up that tinder meeting.  As it seems to suggest by the preview, he may get angry at the attention he is not getting from the ladies.  Although I use that term loosely.  That could really damage the tip.

Malia is THE. WORST.  The absolute worst.  Okay, you're going to go for the nice guy this time because he deserves it?  How does your fucking head even fit through those doorways, girl?  I would say you're the worst insult to women but . . . 

These yachtie bimbos show up.  God.  Five or six of them and I bet if you put their IQs together, you wouldn't hit 100.  I'm embarrassed for them; the only thing they have going are tits and ass.  Maybe it's because I'm a woman, maybe it's because I find the Kardashians loathsome but I didn't think Bobby's Tinder date had that great of an ass.  Or anything else other than her hair, which was pretty.  But I don't think she was into Bobby, at all, other than it took her away from the Milkshake King at least temporarily. 

Wes was already accused of nepotism and then he goes and climbs into bed with Malia?  Sorry, Wes, but that proves beyond a doubt that you should not be in charge.  Bad enough that you might do it in a hotel but to do it on the damn boat, where everyone will know?  Yeah, you suck.  

Whatever happened to Adam's being over Malia?  Why isn't he over Malia?  Does she shoot rainbows and gold chips out of her hooha?  Seriously, I don't get it.  There have been other women onboard, including guests, who are more attractive than Malia and yet he's hung up on and quasi-stalking this hobbit?  I'm at a loss.  He should consider counseling.  Of course, she makes it worse by claiming she's done with him and five minutes later, she'd going into the galley to flirt and suggest they be friends (with a Croatian hotel room?)  Yeah, like I said.  She's the worst.

Hannah is a messy, sloppy drunk.  She should be embarrassed.  Actually, they all should be embarrassed by this shit show but that's another story.

I understand Bugs' frustration if the editing monkeys aren't messing with us but given they were about to undertake their last charter, she should have sucked it up and plastered a fake smile on her face. 

Lauren is a two faced shit stirrer.  She's essentially doing what Malia is doing to Wes and Adam, but to Hannah and Bugs and in a non-flirty way.  She's bitching about one to the other, taking that person's side and pitting them against each other.  Lauren, you suck.

I continue to like Max and Captain Sandy.

I can understand Bugs' frustration with Hannah; however, I believe it mainly stems from Bugs regretting her decision to be 2nd stew. And her constant nitpicking of everything Hannah does bears that out. What I find to be more disturbing is how Bugs plays the "poor me" card while actively working to undermine and bad mouthing Hannah with the other crew members, including the Captain. She is the worse kind of office mate and employee. If you are a manager, Bugs is the kind of employee who will go over your head to your boss to curry favor and protection. If you are a fellow employee, Bugs is the kind of employee who curries favor with the boss while trashing your work. What is sad about this is that she is actually a hard worker. 

Bug's trembling voice when speaking to Hannah was due to nervousness because she had to actually do her own dirty work. Bugs was hoping to both malign Hannah to the Captain and have the Captain sanction Hannah. When that did not work, she knew she needed to do it herself and she was not planning on that. But Hannah is a master at mind games. Bugs tipped her hand. Hannah knows her newfound friendship with Adam bothers Bugs. Hannah knows that by staying calm during Bugs' little speech, it would drive Bugs crazy. Because Bugs expected and wanted a confrontation. And Hannah did not give her that. 

And Malia. Ugh. Women who pull the "women's rights" card as a way to excuse their sketchy behavior are infuriating. Yes, you can have a relationship with your boss. But expect to deal with the fallout. And yes, people who feel they are equally qualified for your promotion can feel out of sorts based on the criteria of the job, not because you are "a girl and are pretty."

I think some of it is in the editing.  Last night before the guests had arrived, they showed Hannah just standing weirdly on deck seemingly doing nothing. However, in a later scene we see Hannah talking to Wes about flowers that had just been delivered. We then see the deck crew stocking towels and there are a bunch of packages of water bottles out, which may have been recently delivered.

This is kind of Hannah's pattern. I do think it bugged her, but not nearly as much as Ben last season. I think she watched herself last season and decided to be a little more remote this season. She really threw herself at Ben last season. It was all "Pick me. Choose me. Love me. Here's my vagina." This time her approach is to try to talk Adam into drunkenly making out to get Malia jealous.

Lauren is such a shit stirrer. I don't know how anyone could witness or be party to her antics during "anchor watch make out" and think they could tell Lauren anything in any confidence. She dropped that piece of gossip to everyone and capped it off with "say you were in the laundry room/your bunk/on the stairs when you heard it." And then with Adam she spilled all of the details, but said "I don't know all the details." Bitch, you know every detail.

It's the creepy charter guest from last season that had the "who can pick up the most girls" contest between Danny and Bobby that then teased Bobby for not having game after he lost.  I think Bobby was just kind of like "see I really do have game."  Except, you know, matching with her on Tinder isn't actually game.

As far as hired escorts, they seemed pretty unsatisfying (not that I'm in the business of course :)). I mean they didn't even feign interest in hanging out, conversation, flirting, or whatever. Their only "contribution" seemed to be to stroll around in extremely skimpy clothing to show off their surgically enhanced bodies.

Not to defend Adam because he has acted like an ass clown for a lot of the charters and been uber creepy but every time Adam gives her the cold shoulder or begins ignoring her, Malia and her big fat fucking head can't take it and have to send him the equivalent of a half-inflated life preserver by flirting, touching him and being suggestive.  If she was a decent person (which she's clearly not) and had even a modicum of sense (which she clearly does not) she would stay out of the galley unless she's having a meal with others and only speak to Adam as necessary for work.

The other thing Hannah mentioned is that the turnaround is too quick with all these little charters. Normally these boats are booked on a monthly basis and all the department heads pick up on the client's habits. Schedules, provisioning, etc all becomes routine. They don't have to turn the boat around for new guests every couple days. But because Bravo booked the boat and is essentially subletting it for shorter charters, Hannah now has 10x as much work to do. 

I'm no Hannah fan either. Kate on the OG yacht manages to do it just fine so I do think that Hannah could maybe step her game up a little bit. But for Bugs to be bitching about tablescapes is absolutely asinine. I think she just lives to complain. All season she's asked for more responsibility and then she turns around and tells the cameras that Hannah gives her too much work.

If anyone on production on this show looks through message boards for reactions--- almost all the comments about Malia are NEGATIVE.  We see nothing in her, she has a bad personality, we don't want every episode to be a ''Will they or wont they" starring Malia.  Her little self satisfied smile made me nauseated at times!  A big to-do about NOTHING. Also, we don't like returning guests who are totally lame or obnoxious! (I'm reminded of the recurring Dean from Below Deck....)  This dude tonight had nothing to say for himself except he wanted the ice cream shakes- wow, how interesting!  Such a small town hick so out of his element.  He didn't even know how to be cool with his ho's.  He just sat there drooling over them, he could have been a relative of Bobby for all the googly eyed, mouth hanging open starring at their silly enhanced fakeness.  Nauseating and not what I want to watch.  Where are the people with good taste, the fine food, fabulous clothes, people who actually seem like they could afford a trip of this type?!  Blah.  Also, is it possible to film this show in summer?!  It always looks so cold and windy.  Not appealing to me to be out on a yacht in.

My wife asked me what I thought of her and why I think men like fake asses. I told her that I thought that guest had a pretty face, but she fucked up her body with her fake tits and ass implants. What these women don't understand is that what makes a great ass is doing squats and lunges, FFS. Exercise your ass and your ass will look fantastic. Get implants and you'll look like a ridiculous, plastic sex doll with a Disney princess face.

Edited to add: I told my wife that I don't have the first damned clue as to why men think fake asses are so great. I think they look terrible and, were I single and dating, that would drive me away from potential dates.

I learn SO MUCH from reading these threads. Reminds me of when we were in San Francisco ages ago with our toddler daughter on my husbands shoulders. We were in the Tenderloin and passed by a group of (clearly) hookers. One was exclaiming about our adorable child. Only a block later did I think about how *tall* all those ladies were!

Bugsy's "talk" with Hannah was ridiculous.  Is this how Bugs manages when she's a chief stew?  Just... tells someone they suck, doesn't bother to elucidate exactly why, doesn't offer up any solutions going forward?  GREAT MANAGERIAL STYLE THERE, BUGSY.

I admit I've been waiting for Adam to show Wes the text messages.  I hope they both ditch Malia.  She's practically Daisy freaking Buchanan, she's so careless with other people.

Just curious. Back a few episodes ago, did anyone think that they'd have charter guest that made the Mr. Skin crew seem normal and sane?

It's one thing to say "Adam doesn't look at the preference sheet", but that is obviously is not the case....both the "onions" and "salads" were specifically spoken about OUT LOUD in their little pre-meeting thingy. Adam made comments both times BEFORE the charters began about each preference. Such an obvious set up.

Honestly, Mr. Skin was the best guest they've had all season, maybe in the history of the show. There was nothing about him or his guests that made me feel skeevy. They were uber sweet and laid back despite the anchor troubles. Like none of these people are solving world problems, but I would 1000% prefer him and his fully consensual nudie site than the tantrums and pervs on this charter.
