Maci said to her friend in the last episode (or the one previous) how Ryan hasn't stepped up and therefore, he doesn't get a say-so. Pretty bold of her to make such a statement. Try telling that to an attorney or a judge, Maci. You will be eating your words. You hold all the cards only because you have been allowed to by a parent who hasn't sought a court-ordered visitation. Mackenzie is now in Ryan's corner. It will be interesting to see what the future holds. 17 Link to comment

WhosThatGirl May 16, 2017 Share May 16, 2017 Um... yeah I had such a hard time getting through this episode when Matt said "Amber won't leave the bed until she's done work " and then they show us Amber doing work from her bed. And then show us her talking to a producer in bed. So basically Amber does everything in bed. Who isn't surprised. Also I wish these people would stop acting like Dr. Panda is a doctor who can help them through their struggles. Im not sure how I feel about the Maci Larry Jen Ryan situation. I think some of what Maci says may be true but I also think she may be exaggerating for reasons of wanting Ryan to step up. Also maybe I'm dead of joy or something but watching Maci and Taylor try to exit the escape room and the silly music playing wasn't funny to me. It's things like that where the editors are like editing a different show. Farrah and Debra need to stay the hell away from each other. Farrah was okay-still Farrah of course- before the last episode and this one. Her and Debra are toxic to each other. 8 Link to comment

Mischievious May 16, 2017 Share May 16, 2017 So many thoughts. So Amber has another medical issue? I literally spit out my Diet Coke when Matt mentioned having to drag Amber out of bed to get her away from work. My sides hurt from laughing I am so confused by the dinner between Farrah and Debra with Debra's man Before the dinner when they were talking to the producer -- who seemed very skeptical of what the guy was spewing -- right before they cut to the next scene, they focused on Debra. I swear she had a conniving look on her face. Leah was adorable when she told Gary "NOT on the cameras." She is wise. Also, why are they talking about sex at the age of 8 or so? (Not sure of Leah's age) I am a horrible person but am kind of enjoying seeing this not great side of Amber and Matt's relationship. In fact, when she was trying to shut him down from being upset about her business guy calling (RED FLAG!!! Controlling!) she spoke about moving on and up each year so they can live a great life. I can't remember what word she used instead of great but as she said it, she almost had a smirk. For a split second I let myself think "OH! Maybe they were done with the relationship but were putting on a ruse for the cameras until it all airred." You guys! Catelynn wasn't sitting down for a few minutes. And went outside. I'm not sure it said how much, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be worth the money to sit there for hours while the cast members are backstage pouting and whining and refusing to come out and do their jobs. Popular Post ghoulina May 16, 2017 Popular Post Share May 16, 2017 Butch relapsed AGAIN? Sigh. As much as of fame-seeking douche-canoe as Tyler is, I can't help but feel a bit bad for this dude. Being the loved one of an addict is not easy. You're kind of damned if you do, damned if you don't. He wants to offer his helps and support, but his dad is in his 50s. How likely is it for him to be able to change at this point? I don't know what Butch even wants to change. He talks about treatment and calling Dr. Drew, but once his little segment is filmed, he doesn't seem to truly pursue a program of any sorts. I can tell you one thing, he needs to stop coming home to that empty house every night. I know all addicts are different and I'm certainly no expert, but I'm of the belief that a large part of addiction is absence of connection. Loneliness. Sigh....at this point, I just don't know what you do. Cate has chickens now? Don't get too attached. They'll be featured in a giant quesadilla next week. Well, I knew Mack would go back and tell Ryan's parents what Maci said. I still think Maci has very valid concerns. I believe she truly values Bentley's grandparents, but she's stuck in an awkward place right now, and I don't see her position as one of vindictiveness or being a "controlling bitch". BUT.....she really shouldn't have A. Talked about these issues to the new girlfriend. She was talking to Mack like they were both Ryan's exes! and B. She shouldn't have had the discussion on camera. I can honestly see both sides. And aside from Ryan, I think everyone involved truly does have good intentions. I like Jenn and Larry, but they are not without flaws. We've seen the dysfunction with their own son. And Maci isn't perfect, but she is the mom here and it can't be easy to walk the line between her ex and his parents. Again, I think everyone is mostly good intentioned, but there is a real lack of communication and understanding going on. At the end of the day, Ryan just really needs to actually GO to court. Get a set visitation schedule, including holidays. And HE needs to adhere to it, not pawn it off on his parents. Ryan has been largely absent Bentley's entire life. It's only now that he's getting married that he wants to step back in and be involved, largely at Mackenzie's urging, I'd wager. But I don't know what the wants to be AS involved as his parents were. So they're having to scale back a bit, and it's just awkward for everyone. This family could use some mediation. On a positive note - Bentley and Jayde are so cute together! Ugh, Amber and her "business". She is so full of crap. Anything that gives her an excuse to sit in bed all day. Don't you have an office? Why don't you move your computer in there? She's on the phone until 4 am??? With who, exactly??? A Nigerian football team? And even if her "businesses" are a crock of shit, why does Matt need to stand there and monitor who she's talking to on the phone? He is the definition of controlling. The wedding dress scenes - first Amber made me mad. Wasn't this supposed to be Annette's big day? Way to turn it around and make it about you. But then....I almost ALMOST felt bad for Amber. Bad reenactment of Carrie Bradshaw aside, this girl is NOT happy. She does NOT want to marry Matt. I don't even think she wants to be with him. I think she feels trapped. She defended him for so long, she feels if she can just stick it out she can prove everyone wrong. But she's losing herself. That scene was just so telling. The producer said, "Matt's not going anywhere" - Amber's face said, "Unfortunately." She said she deserved a beautiful wedding, BUT she also deserves beautiful life, and a beautiful man. Implying that she has neither. She flat out said he caused her depression. Girl, LEAVE. You do not want this! Look, Amber is flawed as fuck, and the kind of person she is is WHY Matt was able to lock her down in the first place. Way before Matt she was a shitty person. So I have a really hard time feeling sorry for her. But I was on the edge last night. She is chasing after all these "checklist" items of what makes you a successful person. But she is empty inside. And Gary - way to bring up sex ed on camera! I love Gary. He's a good dad and kudos to him for not leaving it entirely up to the school. But, time and place, buddy. Also, maybe not reference you and Amber having sex in front of, not only, your children, but your current sex partner? Ew. So Dr. David meeting Sophia was super uncomfortable. Why does that dude always look like he's wearing a tux? I swear I saw a cummberbund at one point! And I know Sophia is a mega bratty child, but he sat there throwing all kinds of death stares at her during dinner. It was actually quite creepy to watch. Then Farrah starts talking crap about her nanny in front of the child, thereby insuring Sophia won't respect or listen to said nanny. And Deb is just thrilled to see Farrah mad at ANYONE but her, so she jumps right in and starts kissing ass like it's nobody's business. Ugh, it's getting to the point where Farrah's scenes are actually stressing me out. She is just SO combative. Everything said provokes an argument. This isn't even guilty pleasure level drama anymore. It's exhausting! 28 Link to comment
