She can't cook, she can't clean, she has no clue how to raise/take care of her own children, is connected to a talking asshole by a 1 foot invisible chain, can't handle the smallest tasks on her own & is just all around clueless. She films & laughs at her child crying because neither she nor her talking asshole are smart enough to take the door panel off & roll up the window. She treats Izzy like he was put there just to ruin her day every day. Now she's getting gum stuck in her horse tail hair and then gives it back to him. I shouldn't be shocked, but I just can't with this bitch. Someone needs to sit her ass down and start dealing with her problems. 4 43 Link to comment

Zella August 27, 2019 Share August 27, 2019 That gum story is just flat-out nasty. And the car seat just makes me sad. I don't have kids and have never put a kid in a car seat, but I cannot imagine doing that and not making sure I was doing it correctly. Hell, my dad back in the 80s actually nabbed a state trooper in a parking lot and made him come over and check that he was doing my older brother's car seat properly. It was very important to him that his kid was safe. I'm afraid Jill is just going to see the criticism and become even more stubborn rather than thanking her lucky stars they weren't in a wreck and making sure she is doing it right. 10 Link to comment

Jill has umpteen mechanically inclined brothers. Several that sell crappy used cars and would know how to fix it. If she can’t find those particular brothers, I Bet you JD knows how to fix that window. Eta - how is it that JB never took his daughters to an auto body friend so they could learn to fix these things just like they learned to build houses, tile floors, drive bulldozers, etc. Edited August 27, 2019 by mythoughtis 12 Link to comment

Sew Sumi August 27, 2019 Share August 27, 2019 That was my thinking as well. But I don't think any of it was really seminary work such as what Jeremy is doing. He just took some bible classes and paid Cross Church to be an intern. 15 Link to comment

GeeGolly August 27, 2019 Share August 27, 2019 Derick is bragging about 19 years of school, yet he only has a Bachelor's degree and is unemployed. Most folks with 19 years of school have a Master's degree and a job. I'm guessing this is his subtle way of saying they believe in higher ed, but it doesn't make him look like the brightest crayon in the box. Also, I'm fairly certain the word twinkies has a new meaning in these modern times. And not the definition Derick is going for. 8 13 Link to comment

It would not surprise me if Jill called prescription eyeglasses "readers" although that term is generally used for off-the-rack reading glasses. To borrow a phrase I heard in a documentary about a totally non-Duggar related subject: Jill's ignorance is encyclopedic. Jill didn’t say he needed readers, she said he needed reading glasses. 1 Link to comment

It's not hard, but the 2nd thing I mentioned - pulling the window back up by hand and then wedging two rubber doorstops at the bottom will hold it shut too, and doesn't need to involved removal of the door panel, unless you can't pull the window back up by hand (the time we used the vice grips, we couldn't pull the window up by hand - it was stuck because the chain snapped, and got sucked up in the actuator) 1 hour ago, GeeGolly said: Isn't that unusual to need readers in your 20s?
