Some commented on Israel being improperly strapped in his car seat. Omg at the people defending it on her Instagram.

Jill was criticized for how she handled the window. I've said it before. I'll say it again. She's really her mother's daughter.

That gum story is just flat-out nasty.

And the car seat just makes me sad. I don't have kids and have never put a kid in a car seat, but I cannot imagine doing that and not making sure I was doing it correctly. Hell, my dad back in the 80s actually nabbed a state trooper in a parking lot and made him come over and check that he was doing my older brother's car seat properly. It was very important to him that his kid was safe.

I'm afraid Jill is just going to see the criticism and become even more stubborn rather than thanking her lucky stars they weren't in a wreck and making sure she is doing it right.

I don't know why I'm shocked, but somehow in a group that has Jessa posting literal piles of used diapers, Joy living in a 5th wheel, self absorbed Lauren who never misses a chance to put her foot in her perpetual victim mouth, & Anna married to a porn loving sleazeball, Jill manages to be the MOST white trash out of everyone.

I laughed so hard I snorted 🤣

To be fair to Jill, I'm not sure I'd know how to take a door panel off to roll the window up. (Though of it's as easy as you all say I might YouTube it and try and figure it out. That's how I took apart and repaired my dryer. 😂)

I would, however, have sat in the back with my terrified child and not taken video of it to pay online.

Jill has umpteen mechanically inclined brothers. Several that sell crappy used cars and would know how to fix it. If she can’t find those particular brothers, I Bet you JD knows how to fix that window.

Eta - how is it that JB never took his daughters to an auto body friend so they could learn to fix these things just like they learned to build houses, tile floors, drive bulldozers, etc.

Derelict thinks he's so clever. And when did he spend two years in seminary? Missed that.

I think he is counting some online courses he took while he was at Walmart/Danger America and then the year at Cross Church.

But then I can’t come up with 19 years of school. 13 k-12, 4 college, 1 year of law school = 18 not 19.

Well we all know Derelict plays fast with the truth so who knows what he is Counting as seminary. Remember when he said he worked for eleventy billion years? And we were like, yeah, no, more like three or four years, maybe. Plus why do the Dullards think matching Tee shirts are cute? They are like middle school kids. Wonder how Izzy’s first day of school was? No mention of that.

Pre-K?

Derick like to embellish... we make shit up. Remember how he had been "employed" for 23 years?

I have decided that he is counting this coming year as the 19th. He refers to first day of school 21 and then breaks it down between public and seminary.  Took me a while because the rest of us don’t count things as completed until they are completed.

I'm old, work with college students, yet this is the first time I've ever heard of it.

Anybody calls my twins twinkies is going to be slapped.

What does the hashtag "intendtolive" supposed to mean?

And thanks for drawing the arrow to the window, Jilly. I couldn't have found it without you. 🙄

I think #intendtolive is the company that gave them the shirts.

I intend to live ... it up with lotion!

Dreck answered that he would send his kids to public school. I’m sure he’s talking about college. Poor Israel. Sam may be different, but that kid is dying for interaction with SOMEBODY.

Weirdness about someone named Danielle fixing the car instead of a gazillion brothers. There really is something up with them and the family. She went to Amy’s sprinkle (dumbest name), but when was she last seen at the house?

Derick is bragging about 19 years of school, yet he only has a Bachelor's degree and is unemployed. Most folks with 19 years of school have a Master's degree and a job.

I'm guessing this is his subtle way of saying they believe in higher ed, but it doesn't make him look like the brightest crayon in the box.

Also, I'm fairly certain the word twinkies has a new meaning in these modern times. And not the definition Derick is going for.

The scary thing is... I know it's only the Daily Fail, but reading this I started to think it was possible that Jill was paying a publicist, because I find it hard to believe any journalist voluntarily choosing to go into that much pointless rambling detail...

I mean, it's looooooong.

Yeah that’s just the Daily Mail style. You scroll and you scroll and you scroll.

Isn't that unusual to need readers in your 20s? Most folks either have had glasses since childhood or need glasses around 40 years old.

Me thinks Derick is really playing dress-up. Wanting to look the part.

I wonder if he needed prescription eyeglasses, perhaps mainly for reading vs. distance.  Those photos were taken in an optical shop/department where you get prescription glasses.

My sister got hers as a teenager and really does not need hers all that often.  Derick is probably mildly far-sighted and was able to get through high school and undergrad without them, but suffered through eye strain and headaches.

It would not surprise me if Jill called prescription eyeglasses "readers" although that term is generally used for off-the-rack reading glasses. To borrow a phrase I heard in a documentary about a totally non-Duggar related subject: Jill's ignorance is encyclopedic.

Jill didn’t say he needed readers, she said he needed reading glasses.

I'm just going to say it, that gum looks too clean to have been lost in her hair.

Agreed.  I was just about to call BS on it - there is no hair in that gum.  She's just looking for attention.

It's not hard, but the 2nd thing I mentioned - pulling the window back up by hand and then wedging two rubber doorstops at the bottom will hold it shut too, and doesn't need to involved removal of the door panel, unless you can't pull the window back up by hand (the time we used the vice grips, we couldn't pull the window up by hand - it was stuck because the chain snapped, and got sucked up in the actuator)

I had them for eye strain (I work at a computer all day) at a fairly young age (mid/late 20's).  They were classified as "reading strength) but I got them from an eyewear place because they put anti-glare coating on them.

Or he’s not doing well and blaming it on vision , not that he can’t comprehend the material ... I’m just saying.

I think Derelict should drop all 3 off at preschool on his way to class
