Jill would look sooooo much better if she wasn't wearing that blue monstrosity under her coat. The coat and leggings seem like they would cover up enough on their own! What's wrong with Amy's outfit; is it not modest? I thought their objection to pants was that you could see the crotch area, but shouldn't they be able to wear pants if the top covers said area? Makes. No. Sense!

ETA: this is the first picture I've seen of Jill in at least a year where she looks truly happy and at home in her environment. Let her stay, Derick! She deserves to live in a place she feels safe at least until she doesn't have young children anymore.

We all knew what you meant.  :)

She looks clean, hair neat and relaxed with a smile.  We ignore the clothes at this point. Sometimes you just gotta play the hand you're dealt.

I have a pair of EMU boots that look like that. Not as pricey as UGGS and better soles. I think I've worn them for at least 6 winters and they've held up. Maybe Jill is doing something like that. Now why the blue skirt and black tights with tan boots? Is she color blind?

Amy looks really cute. As everyone else said, Jill looks good for Jill. If she'd worn a black skirt instead of the royal blue, her ensemble would've been really nice, however she seems completely tone deaf to style. Maybe that's why the rest of the family insists on decorating her houses for her.

I snark on this bunch quite a bit, I fully admit, but nothing in that pic is worth calling CPS or Tmz. Iz looks adorable there. If no one is coming over, we keep a blanket on the family room couch bc our Lhasa and the 12 year old Corgi we just inheirited like to get up there (Corgis stink, BTW and I don't know how am old dog with short legs gets up there, but she does).

I know, @RazzleberryPie. I've also got a living room sofa complete with a slip cover that can be washed (because, dog hair and life in general), and a throw that is rarely found neatly folded vs. left where it was kicked off or dropped.

The kid's eating a sammich in a lived-in room. Nothing looks grimed with dirt, including the kid.

That may not be their sofa. Aren't they on a "vacation" somewhere? They are perpetually on vacation so it's hard to tell.  Maybe that's where Izzy slept.

If a public figure posts a public photo, it's fair game. Snark on! In some cases they may post a photo just to provoke the net for their own entertainment, so we wouldn't want to let them down. :)

Amen!!!!! Sooooo many people in the world just don't get the difference between public figures and private citizens. If I ever comment anything on the Duggars' Facebook (usually something mild like Jill obviously hiding her midsection), I get barraged with "if u don't have nothing nice to say don't attack the Duggars. If she was pregnant she'd tell us right away now have a seat." It is totally fine to discuss opinions on a public figure's page! I would never even say anything disrespectful, or even snarky. There was also a huge brouhaha over Derick's tasteless kiss at Jinger's wedding, where a few said they didn't like it and all these leghumpers were yelling that we were being "mean."
